Meditteranevm in Windsor and Maidenhead

Took the wife and my mother to this restaurant on Saturday and had a superb meal. I had the whole lobster, mum had the seabass and both were very good indeed. For what it's worth we always have the cheesecake to finish, which are simply the best around.

We hadn’t been for a long time and had been recommended to return. We were really pleased we did. The restaurant is really well located next to the river at Bray Marina. Lovely views from the conservatory which is nicely furnished with comfortable seating. The food was very good and served hot. There is a good choice on the children’s menu and our grandson really rated the burger! Service was good throughout and friendly. We will certainly be returning again.

The food was delicious and the wait staff were efficient, however, the maitre D (or head waiter) was awful. Rushed us to choose 5 mins after arriving, didn’t listen, we had to repeat our order a few times. Truly made the experience worse. This was my second visit in a week and the same awful service was experienced on both visits. Can’t fault the location or the food though. They need to ditch that guy.

Not what expected! Not great service at all! I wanted to surprise my fiance' to a Birthday dinner and specified to the gentlemen on the phone who changed my booking it was a 50th birthday dinner. We enjoyed our dinner and having ordered a starter and a main we were a bit full and my fiance' didn't want a dessert but I pushed him to have one as I knew the chef would at least write happy birthday on a plate or something! Nothing! I was so so disappointed more because I sort of forced him to have a dissert! When the waiter arrived to take our payment i mentioned he was his birthday and nothing was done so he looked and charged the card and completely ignored me! Not even a sorry or 'we forgot' nothing! I left so disappointed I don't want to go back! Only giving 3 star because the food was nice although expensive (£25 for a small seabass)! Be prepared and don't expect too much!

This restaurant is lovely. Fantastic food cooked perfectly by Salvotore and his team . Excellent service by Tony, Jacob and Belinda who could not do enough for us . Definitely will be returning soon .

Our son and his fiancées big wedding was cancelled at Easter due to COVID , and they decided again at short notice on 22/9/20 to get married on 26/9/20 so we could have 30 guests. Luckily Danny the manager there went above and beyond to accommodate us and the final product was way beyond everyone’s expectations!!! My scallops, steak and Cheese cake were amazing, as were everyone’s meals - by a country mile the best choice of wedding food we have ever had !! The house white and the Primitivo were fabulous , the staff friendly and courteous, the cocktails flowed and the there was just the right attention to COVID restrictions for our party. Memorable, Quality, exceptional staff and considering the outstanding food it was really good value! Thank you from us all for making our family wedding so special!!
