Second visit to the Royal Oak… first time for food (Sunday Roast) Lovely warm greeting by the owner and bar staff, great service and good food…an absolute gem of place and a throwback to times when people cared! Thank you so much.

This place never disappoints. Great food, excellent service and nothing too much effort. We were served by Marius. He was very funny, cheeky and excellent company. My friend was partially sighted and he made sure we picked a table in the light as it helps her see more. Fantastic on the spur of the moment visit.

I’ve just come off the phone with the manager. Who was shockingly unhelpful, patronising and unapologetic. I had my 33 year old brothers funeral wake there and it was awful. I paid £870 for room and gold buffet. People came in to a cold dark unlit room. The memory table was not set up. The staff were miserable, unhelpful and rude. There was no music on in background. The atmosphere was terrible. The buffet was awful and was put out late after prompting. There was a lady standing guard of the buffet doling out tiny portions. I was incredibly awkward. At one point she told me off for trying to serve myself some hotpot. The sandwiches were dry and cheap. They did not lay out enough for 50 people. When I complained - I was told they would have made more if more was needed. There was a couple of pieces of tiny chopped up cheap cake. That is not what I paid for. People would not believe I paid £870 for this and more importantly my brothers wake ruined. I will never set foot in the place again.

This place is utterly horrible. This stupid manager is horrible, mean, and greedy for money. The way you replied to my sister and other people. (In mean sarcastic ways looks like you act like this right in front of your customers. The food was very salty, soggy and burnt. To the manager: Have manners. Treat you customers in a fair kind way. Watch videos on YouTube or take courses on how to treat your customers. My nieces and children went home hungry and I work so I couldn't make anything for them to eat. You also lighted with me in front of my children and nieces, how dare you.

I was really excited to try this after seeing all the stuff on social media.. however, really disappointed food was average - we ordered started and it come out with our tapas - we had asked separately, took about 20 mins to get drinks , service was slow and not the most friendliest. Another friend had a similar experience here. Looks lovely with the decor but overrated.

I was excited to try this restaurant as it promised to be very aware of my gluten free needs and also very much into a plant based approach as I also have a strong lactose intolerance. I had already looked at the menu and there was a good selection of dishes that suited my needs, so I was looking forward to the experience. When we arrived I was not disappointed the decor is sleek and the food looked really nice. We ordered our food and we waited and we waited and we waited. If the place had been really busy I could have understood, but only a third of the tables were occupied. My experience in cafes is that usually the drinks arrive first, but not here. We had already eaten our meals before the drinks arrived, which is strange. The smoothie I had was delicious and the hot chocolate was very hot. I had avocado on toast, which is a personal favourite and I've eaten this at many brunch spots. For £8.50 I had what looked like half a slice of gluten free bread and half an avocado sprinkled with some seeds. I was somewhat underwhelmed for the price and the wait of around half an hour; remember I haven't even had a drink at this point. I've looked at the menu and it promises two slices of sour dough! My husband had the panini, which he said was tasty, but not worth the cost. There are many other cafes in Marlborough which offer brunch and next time I'm there I will be visiting them instead.

Great cafe with excellent perfectly made coffee. Bacon sandwich which was excellent made with freshly toasted bread and traditional bacon that tasted so good. They have a great looking menu for later in the day. Freshly baked bread and pastries looked great. I would come back here

We went here on the recommendation of our 14 year old daughter! She wanted to go and told us about it. I went on line and got a table booked for the 3 of us, when we arrived we were presently greeted from members of staff. I must say from when we arrived the service was first class! The staff are so welcoming professional and polite very helpful indeed. The food was so nice from starter main and desert, so so tasty full of flavour, we didn’t have to wait long for any of our courses, very well presented. This is my number 1 Resturant, I will highly recommend Erman’s kitchen We will be back with friends and family, I only write a review if I think it’s worth it snd this Resturant most certainly is so a big thank you to the staff, bar staff, and kitchen staff . Your all fantastic.

Excelente servicio al cliente, ambiente y sugerencias de comida / vino. Todo esto junto con una pequeña fuga de agua de la calle que causó inundaciones en el sótano mientras estábamos comiendo. El personal, especialmente Omar, continuó atendiéndonos como si nada hubiera pasado. Hacia el final de nuestra cena, éramos los únicos clientes que quedaban. Nada de prisas, nada de cernirse sobre nosotros en un esfuerzo por cerrar para lidiar con la fuga de agua. Recomiendo encarecidamente Diwan como una opción para la cocina libanesa, la hospitalidad y el ambiente fantástico.

Sfuggendo dalla ressa di Harrod’s e prendendo una strada secondaria, ci siamo imbattuti in questo locale. Accogliente e con arredamento di ispirazione italiana. Cucina ottima. Servizio rapidissimo. Si possono anche acquistare prodotti sia di origine italiana che di produzione propria. Conserve, pasta e persino il panettone.

Although it may not have the most luxurious decor the food was delicious at reasonable price and I was glad I came here to get a taste of their Lebanese specials!

The restaurant looks very classy and the food was chef’s kiss. The meat was cooked to perfection and had a great taste. Finally, the staff and waiters were friendly and provided quick service. :)))

Como siempre, gran relación calidad-precio, buena comida de cafetería, gran selección con platos aún más grandes. . . Ten hambre cuando cenes. El personal, como siempre, brillante y feliz de ayudar. . . Nada parece demasiado problema. Bonita, área al aire libre cubierta también. El plato más cercano es una parrilla mixta, alrededor de £ 9 y papá era una mezcla pequeña.
