Stunning location, have eaten here previously. However the quality of the food this time was not great. My seabass was tasty but served with boiled brocoli amd tasteless overcooked carrots it just didn't go with the dish, menu stated it came with boiled potatoes but they were fried. The seafood platter was very disappointing, at 28.50 we expected more, no marinade on the mussels and the poo tracks hadn't even been removed from the prawns, yuk. To tip it all we were charged 29 pounds for 2 small bottles of prosecco, and 2 pints of side water. Now I see why I could get a table last minute.

My wife woke up and decided we should go out for Sunday lunch so I googled “riverside restaurants near me” and got the best ever recommendation in The Halliford Mere Lakes. What a find. Fantastic customer service and superb food in a wonderful setting. Currently working off a reduced menu to enable chef to produce top quality dishes given the restrictions on supplies caused by the market and the heat. Clever use of the best ingredients available and enough choice to satisfy the most critical palate. We even managed a beautiful walk through the trout lakes before desert and delicious decaf filter coffee. Lots of extra brownie points for my choice of venue at short notice. We WILL be back!

What a lovely setting the restaurant is in it overlooks trout lakes. The young waitress serving us was charming. There was four of us I had the fish soup for starter's the broth could have done with a bit more flavour but the fish in it did followed by sea bass which was cooked to perfection as were the vegetables all the food was fresh and tasty. I would happily visit this place again.

Have passed the sign on number of occasions finally tried it out. We went with another couple today for lunch, very good venue, young lady serving friendly and polite, booking over the phone answered correctly by text as requested. Food was good, not a cheap meal but I think it was good value. We will definitely be going back. My only observation , the fish stock in the soup was a little bland, but that is just my opinion, I like a little kick, but otherwise my meal was good.

We arrived on a bank holiday lunch time. whoever was managing the place looked surprised that clients were coming, there was another couple that arrived at the same time, the manager told them to follow him and left us in the entrance, we could see that they didn’t have any table set so they moved 2 tables on the terrace, we eventually went to the terrasse too as no one was coming back for us, it’s a big terrasse, and yet we were seated the furthest possible from the sides with the nicest view even though the terrasse was almost empty. we then had to wait for the other couple to decide what they wanted to eat because the restaurant only had 1 menu hand written on a slate. We eventually ordered and went to enjoy the lake views, the waitress came to us to tell us that what we ordered wasn’t available, so we changed. The food arrived, the quantities were absolutely ridiculous, i took a monkfish dish that was a tiny square portion with about 7 fried baby potatoes slices, 1 steamed mini carrot and 1 tiny broccoli and about 2 teaspoon of sauce on the monkfish, the monkfish was ok but the vegetables were completely tasteless, except the broccoli piece that tasted like raw fish which wasn’t really pleasant. My partner had lamb with the same potatoes slices and the steamed baby carrot and broccoli. While we were eating one staff started to varnish a table next to us, so we had the pleasure of super strong varnish smell while trying to enjoy the food that had no taste. I really don’t understand how a place can have such a beautiful scenery, pretend to do Mediterranean food and yet make the worst food and give the worst service, and it wasn’t cheap! The monk fish was about £19 and the lamb was about £24…We were super hungry leaving this place, we walked arround the lakes and went to eat some cake somewhere else. I very rarely leave reviews, but seeing such a nice place which huge potencial is a bit sad, and also I am pissed off because I feel I have been ripped off, if I could go back in time I would have left when we were serve the food. Yet, the waitress was very friendly and we talked to someone managing the lakes who seemed very nice too, please sort this restaurant out as, as per our experience it is currently a good candidate for Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen show.

Beautiful view and friendly staff rest was very disappointing. Place was very cold and drafty. No beers on tap, (although they do serve them) no ciders, very limited choose of can beers. Although place was almost empty they had only one serving of calf's liver left, which came out quite rare(they did say they would recook it, but our friend didn't want to hold up the meal).Choice of rice, polenta or new pots only, vegetables same for every dish. One pudding came out not very hot, and cheese board had only one choice of cheese very poor. Expensive for what we got. Was first vist for a meal would not consider going back and would not recommend.

Celebrated my birthday here with friends and family. The food was great and the service good. The view over the trout lake was exceptional. The house wine was also a cut above most you'll try. Don't be put off by them building itself..its more like a wooden pavilion, but its clean and functional.Good size car park. This is a venue you might consider for a wedding or celebration. Drawback is that it's not open all the time but this is offset by the view and hospitality.

We both enjoyed our meals of monkfish and seafood platter but I was disappointed to be charged an “extra £3.00” for two pieces of ciabatta to go with platter, especially as both dishes chosen already incurred a supplement. I think this practice is mean and shortsighted by the management. By way of balance the Tiramisu dessert was the lightest and “Best” I have ever had!

The setting is lovely and there is so much potential here. However this restaurant doesn't look like it has been updated since it opened about 30 years ago. Most of the staff seemed to be training - they were trying their best, but for the price you pay, it should be much more professional. The bar was appalling - limited choice and terrible decor. The food was nice, but overpriced. Not surprised that it was barely half full on a lovely sunny Friday evening, when they should have been full. Such a shame.

The venue is a perfect location for Weddings, as well as hosting local Fishermen, including well-known expert Bream anglers...but I digress. I wrote a review by mistake about Shepperton's Prezzo meaning it to be about Halliford Mere Lakes, which I thought was extremely good. The setting was beautiful especially as the weather was good and the restaurant looks like a log cabin very cosy. The food was very good except my husband found his sole a bit sickly as it had a cheese and mushroom sauce overwhelming the delicate taste of the sole. My seafood pasta was excellent and the service was very good. The only negative was the restaurant was nearly empty and lacked atmosphere, possibly better at weekends. The restaurant is not in a prominent position hidden behind trees etc. so can be missed quite easily if passing. It is also only opened certain days during the week so check before visiting. I would recommend this restaurant as the setting is beautiful and unique.

Went here for a social get-together with several other couples; right from the start when the waitress didn't offer to take our coats I felt we had made a mistake ... plastic plants in the restaurant, unmatched furniture, cold dishes obviously straight out of the fridge as they were too cold (including a horrid - presumably bought in - lemon meringue pie), cold plates for the hot food, and the only tea, for non coffee drinkers, was standard "breakfast". From the moment you arrive, the view of the lake is completely breathtaking. Staff were extremely friendly, food arrived promptly and everyone was very happy in our group of a dad and a grandad. Lemon sole very tasty as was the hake and deserts also a success. Afterwards we sat down at the lake for over an hour with jugs of iced water. During that time we saw a kingfisher, a heron in flight, dozens of fish literally leaping out of the water (you can pay to fish here), dragonflies, butterflies and even a water snake (not sure of correct name). It is a stunning and completely beautiful place with the taverna style restaurant behind simply adding to the holiday feel. The two dads in our group had a perfect day, and we certainly plan to return.

A quirky place, the food makes it worthwhile a visit, especially if you like fish / seafood.Pros:- Good quality food (with some exceptions)- Great fish menu- The lobster Thermidor (circa £40) was nice (a friend thought it was very good). It was nicely cooked and presented. The Caesar salad that accompanied it was terrible (cheap and nasty Caesar dressing)- Beautiful setting on the lake, outdoors, weather permittingNegatives:- They seem to be shut more days of the week than open (for dinner)- Very restrictive drinks menu- The tiramisu dessert was TERRIBLE. The only good thing I have to say is that the taste matched perfectly the awful presentation. It looked like leftovers from yesterday’s servings and tasted like flavourless butter- There is always something on the menu that they had ran out of- Portions are small, sometimes far too small for the price (e.g. starters)- Internal décor is a bit “tired” with plastic plants and material covering the ceiling and Christmas lights

It was a very enjoyable evening even if the restaurant was empty. The food was very very nice. We all had the seafood platter and all agreed it was to die for. We all felt that the restaurant was wasted as obviously not many people know about it. The setting is beautiful. The only thing I would add is that maybe the place could be modernised to show off the beautiful setting, I think it would attract a lot more customers if it was elegantly refurbished. We will be returning for sure. I would certainly recommend you try this place. Okay the service isn't always what you would expect but so what! we like it. anyway.

The food isn't exactly ground breaking cuisine. Indeed the menu is distinctly stuck in 1978, though it is cooked very well. Only one star because you can't put less..Never in my life have I experienced such terrible food! We ordered our starter and within (not kidding here) 2 minutes it came to our table. Calamari was the equivalent of chewing elastic bands, if you like that sort of thing with a dusting of raw flour then this is definitely the place for you! Now, mains... I could be here all day but I'll keep it short. Monkfish in tomato sauce, it was like dipping my fork into liquid salt with an overload of dried oregano. Monkfish was like chewing on a foam mattress but without the satisfaction of actually biting down on a mattress!! My friend had prawns which could remove the mercury filling of any man or beast, with a lovely sauce of table salt and Lambrusco-Bianco. Two mouthfuls and we run for the hills!! Restaurant quiet probably due to Black Friday. We chose this restaurant for its fish menu and were not disappointed. I started with the Haddock Mornay which was very tasty whilst my wife chose the goats cheese. For our main course my wife went for her favourite, lemon sole which was a filet wrapped in smoked salmon and prawns. The smoky fish was clearly there but it did not overpower the sole. I went for the monkfish in a Provencal sauce, again beautifully balanced. To top it off we had a carafe of house white which was a lovely French Sauvignon Blanc.Staff very attentive without being overbearing. Poor service. Offered a drink at the bar to start with, where we sat at a small table reaching our knees, after 20 mins we were brought a menu, another 5 minutes and we had to ask to go to our table (restaurant was pretty empty with many vacant tables). Sat outside, beautiful view. However food was very bland with little seasoning. Crab to start, which had just been taken out the fridge and put on a plate, along with a huge dollop of mayonnaise on top. Seafood risotto for main, which again came out luke warm, bland, no seasoning and unenjoyable. Had to leave the table for the bar to order another drink as staff were nowhere to be seen. Severely unimpressed and disappointed after hearing such great things from friends, our experience just wasn't the same.

It's 15 years plus since we last visited, in the times when the restaurant chairs used to be plastic garden chairs. Tonight I visited to find the chairs much improved and the restaurant looked most appealing.. I had gone in to book a table for my wife's birthday. The waitress said that she was just about to serve the hot food and would I mind waiting a minute. No problem as I was only there to book a table! Over 7 minutes later, I am still standing like a lemon in the bar area, whilst the only two waitresses are still serving the not too many customers. It was clear that one or two of the other customers also required service but they were totally ignored, as was I. Needless to say, I left without booking. A restaurant experience should include both good food and good service. I can't comment on the former as I won't now be going but the customer experience was abysmal. It will be another 15 plus years before I even think of trying again.G.A. Shepperton.

Wonderful evening spent last Saturday with friends. Fantastic food, excellent service. Best of all we were not hurried as with so many other restaurants - we were left to dine at our leisure - which was not hard with roaring log fires in the background.Cannot wait to have another excuse to return and try some of the other lovely dishes on the menu.

Food was a bit disappointing for an Xmas dinner, starters were garlic mushrooms but appeared as a garlic mushroom soup. Main course- the spuds were small new potatoes and appeared to have been deep fried, although the meat was Ok the stuffing was a round pat as if it were cut as a slice, there was just one tiny sausage wrapped in a tiny slice of bacon again deep fried? The whole meal was just warm enough to eat so was disappointing.Dessert- was xmas pudding and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how tiny it was but scoffed it anyway.Crackers were supplied on the table. As the place filled with later guests the place became extremely noisy so some of us decided to leave early.Although I've eaten here before and found everything pleasing and quiet, it seems this is not the place for large numbers as the kitchen is put to the test and is unable to serve good hot food. Some of the party commented it was rather expensive/disappointing for what we got. This may be an unfortunate evening but I shall at least give it one more chance in the summer. If you are a driver this place does NOT serve non-alcoholic beer so I supplied my own!

Went to this restaurant last weekend with friends having heard glowing reports from work colleagues. Glorious food, service second to none and a great friendly atmosphere. Only one problem, we had to leave at the end of the evening! Will definitely be back very soon and recommend to all.

Been a few times now....it's never very busy which is a shame as it's a lovely place with excellent calming views. Lovely wood fire kept us all warm.We were all served and able to eat at the same time. We weren't too full after eating which was nice. Staff were very pleasant and friendly.

Visited Saturday evening, restaurant very quiet possibly due to the rugby match taking place. Staff very pleasant, restaurant very nice, food just OK. Starters: Haloumi and Roast Pepper Salad - would have been nicer if peppers weren't so cold. I know it's a salad but warm haloumi and cold peppers is not a good combination. Chef's Dressed Crab (with £2.50 supplement) was served on one small slice of toasted brioche (which we were told about beforehand). Don't feel that it warranted the £2.50 supplement. Other three starters were OK. Mains: Fillet of Cod - very dry; could not finish. Slow Roast Pulled Lamb - shredded lamb in gravy (not sure where the "dressed" part came into it). Left a greasy, cloying feel in mouth. Reminiscent of school dinners. Again, could not finish. Other three mains were OK. Can't comment on desserts as didn't order any.As I say in the title of my review, I think a lot depends on what is ordered as to whether it will be tasty or not.

Our high hopes of a special Sunday lunch in the autumn sun simply didn't happen. While the location next to the landscaped lakes is amazing, the restaurant is stuck in the 1980's.All the fish has been frozen. No specials which always a bad sign, 80s decor, small portions and not even a coffee machine, just filter coffee !! its primarily a fish restaurant without fresh fish ! The portions are small and we found ourselves to be still hungry not long after. It could be a goldmine for a fresh owner with ideas, but in the meantime, my advice is to stay away.

Booked this place for a birthday meal. Wasn't sure what to expect but we weren't disappointed. The setting is really beautiful overlooking the lake and the restaurant itself a little quirky and charming. The menu offered a good selection of choices especially several tempting fish dishes and all of our party enjoyed their meals. The veg in particular were cooked to perfection and my sea bream was served with the most delicious sauce ever.We will definitely be back and look forward to trying their lunch menu and having a walk by the lake to explore the surroundings

We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The restaurant sits beside a beautiful fishing lake and, on a warm night it's worth taking your aperitif down to one of the tables right by the waters edge. The restaurant itself is cosy with soft lighting and lots of windows making the most of the views. The food is always good, tonight I had calves liver that simply melted in my mouth, my husband had slow cooked lamb which he said was delicious. This one is really worth a try.

My wife and I visited Halliford Mere Lakes restaurant last Friday night. t was a very wet night and we had to avoid the puddles on the path from the car park to the restaurant door. Once inside everything changed. We were warmly welcomed and seated at our table, glasses of rioja quickly materialised as did the menus. Halliford Mere restaurant basically has a fish menu which we both love. I have to say that this is the 4th or 5th that time we have visited and have never been disappointed. Friday night was no exception. the food was excellent, we both had medallions of monkfish in a creamy wild mushroom sauce, which I can't recommend too highly. I had shell off tiger prawns for a starter, simple but delicious. We finished the meal off with desserts and coffee and of course another glass of rioja. The ambience of the place and the attentiveness of the two waitresses made our evening complete.

It was a beautiful sunny evening as well that helped, the scenery is stunning and food was very tasty and lots of wine flowing. After several attempts to book a table my partner finally managed to reserve one for a recent Saturday evening. She had an odd conversation with a male, who we think may have been the proprietor, on the telephone who seemed uninterested in taking a reservation. The restaurant is open only on certain evenings.Anyway, the setting around the lakes is fantastic. When we arrived the place was almost empty with only around 3 or 4 tables taken. We ordered our food and I have to say it was disappointing to say the least - small portions, not particularly tasty and probably mostly from the freezer as opposed to fresh.I have had more satisfying meals at the local Harvester. The place remained devoid of customers and was at least three quarters empty which is weird considering the beautiful setting and on a perfect summer's evening too.The place is a potential gold mine but clearly wasted. The cheap plastic patio chairs don't help either and the food prices and supplements are well above what they should be.The service was good with the waitresses polite and helpful. Not somewhere I would recommend to eat and I wouldn't go there again.

we struggled to get a booking for an evening meal as the place is only open on Friday Saturday and Sunday but then we were advised that they were going to start serving on Thursday nights.Four of us went last Thursday and I can confirm that it was worth the wait. Now don't expect a 5 star establishment but you will receive top quality food.We choose a range of items from sea food, fish and meat and all were absolutely delicious. My husband said the Thai mussels were the best ever!the staff were friendly and attentive but not overly so.

I'd never heard of this place until recently, its quite out the way so its not something you would notice! Its in a beautiful setting, and we were sat overlooking the lake inside the resteraunt. Our booking allowed us the table for the night so there was no feelings of being rushed to finish and get out. We visited on a Saturday night and wasn't overally busy. The meal was lovely, we all ate 3 courses and werent ridiculously stuffed afterwards which was a bonus! All meals were lovely, no complaints at all!I did feel there could be more options for desserts/ teas and coffees for afters. Also service wasnt 100% as we had a new waitress serving us, which is no fault of her own of course! All staff were lovely. It was very good value for money, and an enjoyable lovely evening was had by all!

I have eaten here 5 or 6 times in the last 18 months and have thoroughly enjoyed it on each occasion. Having read some of the not so positive reviews, I felt I had to redress the balance; either that or double check that they had actually been to the same place. My 5 or 6 visits have taken place in in the depths of winter and the height of summer, no matter what time of year the food and service have been great and the general ambience welcoming and friendly. In winter there is a roaring fire - wonderful to sit next to while having a drink and reading through the menu. In summer, nothing beats a Sunday lunch outside under the marquee over looking the beautiful lake. While I agree the Sardinian chef is 'occasionally unintelligible' I find after I've had the best part of a bottle of wine I can understand him perfectly.I can't wait till my next visit!

I returned to Halliford Mere and was distraught to find that my beloved Seafood Linguini had disappeared from the new menu! Tempted as I was by the delights of the beautifully described dishes, I had my heart set on one of my favourite lunches. The obviously talented (but occasionally unintelligible) Sardinian Chef, Franco, agreed to prepare a steaming bowl of joy for me anyway and it lived up to all my heightened expectations. The brothers that run this idiosyncratic family restaurant provide a delightful atmosphere. Surrounded by like-minded people you can enjoy a relaxed meal, share a drink or three and enjoy attentive service an a delightful location.I shall be back very soon and I hope the Seafood Linguini will be too!

I don't normally write reviews but this is in response to some of the negative reviews that I have read about Halliford Mere LakesI live in Addlestone and my wife and I are regular diners here because this restaurant provides one of the most comprehensive and interesting menus in the area, a menu which changes regularly with the seasons. The food is unvaryingly well cooked and unvaryingly served on hot plates. Possibly a reviewer complaining of cold plates with his buffet would have complained of hot plates had he burned his hands carrying his plate away!It is very pleasant to eat inside the restaurant or outside on the patio overlooking the lake watching the fisherman and the wildfowl when the weather is clement. We have always found the service excellent with friendly members of staff.Plentiful private parking is a bonus.

Don't want to say to much and it was someone's birthday .... Lovely setting and atmosphere but the food was a real let down.. buffet style beef caserole or chicken with mash which was served from a massive stainless steel pot it was cooked in. Felt like I was in a prison queue for slops. Not a vegetable in sight which for 25 quid you think they could manage. Cold plates which really is something that I don't like with hot food.. very poor value for money and left with the impression that it's all about making maximum profit from the meal and not enticing the customer to come back which is not really how any good food place is going to survive.. Lovely evening but would never pay 25 quid for something I could serve up at home for a couple of quid and make it look nicer.. shame as it's a lovely venue and maybe just needs a change of attitude from the person running the place.

I recently went here for our Christmas night out. The lake and surroundings were lovely however the food was a big let down. I thought the coke was over priced at the bar considering it just gets poured from a bottle and was on the flat side. I had the prawn starter which was edible but was like it had come from a party food selection from a supermarket! I then had the pork which sadly had no crisp to the outside of it, it was just soft and fatty. One roast potato was served and a mountain of over cooked carrots which were clearly from the frozen veg range, were thrown all over. I then had profiteroles for pudding of which you got two and then they were covered in some thick chocolate mouse not at all pleasant. The waitresses also didn't seem to know what they were serving as a friend who had ordered the turkey asked for the bread sauce which it stated came with it on the menu. The waitress bought her gravy. We further explained what bread sauce was and showed her on the menu. After a long wait the bread sauce finally arrived but my friend had finished by then (of what was edible). When the waitresses were bringing out desert they were asking who was having the souffle which wasn't even on the menu and we had to explain that what she was indeed holding in her hand and serving was Christmas pudding! Seriously how could anyone get that wrong! It was a real shame as the location was lovely and the disco lights and music after was great but the food was a massive let down and some of the worst food I have ever been served and not cheap at 25.00/head! I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Having arranged to meet friends for a Christmas gathering, drove to the Halliford Mere Lakes and it was a pleasant welcome by the surroundings. Then parked in an adequate car parking area. Then entered the building which was well decorated and had a warm European feel. Was greeted by the manager and shown to the bar area. Having bought an over priced glass of Coca cola (which had no ice or lemon and not even filled to the 1/2 pint level), found that there was only one table and chairs (already occupied) for those in the bar as the remaining were for dining. Our group was eventually shown to the table (well, it was split separately in 4 which meant couldnt sit together) and the bread was served. Starters were arriving and i got mine which was Duck salad - duck on a bed of rocket and leaves. It was mainly fat and a thin covering of leaves......was not impressed. Hungry and eager to have main course, i waited patiently. Main course arrives and my expectations were quickly crushed. The processed sliced turkey was just warm, along with very over cooked sweet potatoes and carrots and the tiny piece of roast potato which amounted to approx 1/2 average sized Maris Piper. Main course was soon cleared by a few waiting staff who stacked the plates as if i was sitting in a local average cafe....... The lack of general ambiance and atmosphere we were all trying to enjoy the company of friends, were constantly interupted by staff attempting to take glassware and other things from the tables. Dessert arrived. Profiteroles - pastry was more than covered in a sickly thick chocolate and toffee sauce so wouldnt know it to be a profiterole! Coffee came on a tray but only 1/4 got the coffee as the rest of us were not offered. So a very expensive dinner (£25/person) for something that would have cost no more than £6/person to produce (food, labour and overhead) as a total 3 course meal. What a real shame as the potential is massive but no where near lives up to expectations of many people. Hope that some big improvements are made for the good of the business.

Beautiful setting as noted by others, and a slightly quirky old-fashioned feel to the dining area make a good first impression. The two (Bulgarian) waitresses who attended to our table both spoke excellent English, one is a Katie Melua look-alike, and the other was particularly chatty and had a good sense of humour. We couldn't fault the service, wine list or the menu, although an odd omission for an Italian restaurant was that they had no Italian beer. The food did not live up to the promise. My veal was not as tender as I would have expected (they claim that it's not 'reared cruelly in nasty boxes so perhaps that is some mitigation), and the tomato based sauce was slightly too acidic for my taste. None of the other main courses were particularly good.It was certainly an enjoyable evening, but the food was definitely the weak link and our bill for four came to £125, which included a couple of beers and a bottle of Argentinian wine for about £18. Could be so much better in terms of food quality and value. Will I go back? Probably, but my expectations will be lower. I would guess that the locals are not enthralled either as on a Saturday night only about three other tables were occupied. So much lost potential here.

Went there on 2/8/2014 just before it closeHaving lived in Shepperton all my life thought we would give it a go....The place its self is quite nice with lovely views of the lake... this the only good thing about this place shame as could be a gold mine. The Deco is very dated but liked the wires in the men toilets which where taped up and painted to match the lovely red with the windowless wooden toilet. Problems 1. Very Very slow service backed up by flat beer we did not try the wine but heard another person complaining2. Almost every thing has a supplement added to the dish when ask why "That they way we have always done it"http://www.hallifordmere.co.uk/pdf/HallifordMere_ItalianMenuSpringSummer_2014.pdf3,, Give half a bread roll and small bit of butter is very tight with the "Gamberoni all Aglio - (£4.25 supplement)" and do not forget about the " Chef’s mixed side salad" with no dressing supplied and was very small4 Could have not put a lemon and some garnish on the plate king prawns to make this not just use a large plate. The Chef i believe has been there for over 10 years i feel that he must understand that people eat first with there eyes and presentation is very important both lacking All in all a restaurant that is stuck in the very much past both in menu and Deco but a wonderful view

We went here with friends who live locally and had been here before. As previous reviewers have said, the location is beautiful especially an evening in August. The staff are charming but I suspect there is an issue with language. One of my companions is unable to eat peppers due to an allergy. She asked whether the Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables (accompaniment to all main courses) could be served without peppers or if she could have a salad instead. She was told that all food was pre-prepared so the vegetables it wasn't possible. After a bit of pushing it was agreed a salad was possibleMy starter of calamari was delicious and cooked just right. When the main courses arrived, the meat was of patchy heat (middle hot but the outside cooled significantly probably because it had been waiting to be served). The sauce though was lovely. The amount of potatoes were pitiful and the "roasted" vegetables were a stew. I had only green (turning grey) veg - I think peppers, courgettes only. Two companions had a small amount of red or yellow pepper My pepper allergic companion still was served veg with peppers and we had to ask again for the promised salad. Waiting staff were hard to contact if you are sitting outside. We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks when most of us were sitting with empty glasses.I didn't want dessert but the other three did One thought she might not manage a whole one but when the tiny portions of lemon pie arrived she wished she had ordered two!A pleasant evening but I won't be going back

I have been going to Noel’s with my friend once a week for years, in my opinion it’s the best cafe/ breakfast place around Feltham for many a year.. Around 18 quid for two full breakfasts, never had a complaint in their service or food. Best thing you can say about an eating house is, if the locals use it, you got a good reputation. And I’m a local. Recommend a visit. 👍.

This is the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. We were seated for about 20 minutes before we were offended a drink. The white wine wine eventually arrived in a tumbler with ice. We asked for this to be changed to a wine glass. We ordered the food and waited over two hours for the main meal to arrive. The manager explained that they cook all meals from scratch and that it takes time to prepare. When imy food arrived it was cold, I asked for it to be heated which they did, I then noticed that the masala has no taste and appeared to be very watery. As we had waited such a long time we decided to eat it. Before I had finished my meal the waitress started to take my meal away without being asked. She had very little English and we found it difficult to communicate with her. The toilet hygiene was below standard and female toilets were closed. When the bill arrived we were shocked at the price and that 12.5 % service charge has been added and that it was not optional. I will certainly not be going back, please do not waste your money.

I visited here for the first time despite living here for 10+ years. I decided to go for some lunch as I fancied something different from a traditional cafe and wanted to support an independent trader. We chose a toasted sandwich of brie, bacon and cranberry, sweet potato fries, a beef burger, a cappuccino and a lemonade. I was rather disappointed and found the food a little underwhelming. The sandwich, on what appeared to be ordinary sliced wholemeal bread and fries cost about £13, which I felt was rather expensive as the overall taste, presentation and ingredients were very average and the fries were rather salty(salt can always be added by the customer if needed). The burger again was very simplistic. While I can't remember all the individual costs of the food and drinks the bill came too just over £35.00, which for what we had felt was quite pricey. I feel they could make some quick and simple tweaks to the food, which would elevate it into a more 'premier' product which their price point suggests. Overall the inside is great, the choice of seating areas is interesting and different, also having an alcohol licence is great but the food could be improved to offer better valve for money.
