The best restaurants serving Japanese food in England

Nice enough but service wasn’t so good. Delivery drivers standing about taking priority. I dined alone, £50 + £5 service charge. I didn’t have much food either and only 2 drinks.

The most delicious meal, everything was insanely good. Incredible service and a firm favourite in the area. Abhi was the most amazing server and remembered our drink order from the last time! That kind of touch goes far!

I've eaten in once and had takeout once from Codi's. Both times the food has exceeded my expectations. Everything is fresh and full of flavour. The only constructive feedback I have is regarding the seats and tables. The seat felt a little small and the tables were difficult to navigate with the seats. But honestly that's nothing really considering how great the food is. I will definitely be going back. I've recommended it to all my friends.

Excellent food and quick turn around on ordering. I would recommend the Bulgogi don and the bento box lunches. Only marked down because on two separate occasions I've found hair in the my food as it was delivered. Aside this issue, the servers are attentive, provide water fast and generally kind.

Excellent food. Great menu. Deliver locally. Soft shell crab is a must. Always enjoy every meal from here. Will definitely be ordering again

food was so bad I had to throw it all away...

The takoyaki was chewy and unpleasant, the hake sando bread wasn't hokkaido milk bread as advertised, I saw a review from a year ago from another customer mentioning this and the restaurant replied to say they'd get the menu changed and haven't, which is poor. The service was excellent, the lovely lady who served us and was very attentive. The rest of the food, ie. the pork ramen and salmon sushi was excellent and delicious! Overall 3/5

Great, freshly cooked food with entertainment by the chefs thrown in too! Warm and friendly service from Juande - made us very welcome and provided attentive service. Recommended!

Quite a cheap but good Japanese meal to get in Brighton. I like the bread crumbed chicken with curry.

excellent food, vibrant atmosphere and all cooked right in front of you. Loved this venue, the best fried rice ive ever tasted and just a great place for an evening out with my wife. Nice wines on the menu too. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing food. One of the most amazing restaurants in Shrews, they responded very quickly and I love when they kept checking if we need a water refill for our jasmine tea. Highly recommend the cow boy maki and the gyu don. Will come back every month!!
