Ordered a meal for home delivery. Easy to complete order form. Great range of choices and the delivery was much quicker than anticipated.......and the best bit......the food was absolutely superb. The hot bits were hot and the cold bits were cold and all was very very tasty.

Got a takeway for my wife's birthday. It was alright, I wasn't overwhelmed. The soft shell crab tasted a little floury, the box F was ludicrously expensive for what it was, the sashimi was small Vs the sashimi we bought outside of that box. I go to quite a few great sushi places in London and this was somewhere closer to wasabi than those.

The duck was so tender and moist, sashimi box so good and the Katsu curry , excellent quality food, it is the best take away I have ever had

Food good. Will definitely use again. Food late but app said it was due half an earlier earlier than it was delivered. I’ve noticed this isn’t the first time with just eat from other restaurants so not necessarily the restaurants fault. This post code now sends drivers to the wrong road, however if they follow the street address it’s fine. Also maybe not the restaurants fault. Only complaint is the restaurant wouldn’t pick up the phone. Very happy once it arrived, still warm, very tasty and good quality

Not satisfied with the size of uramaki roll. Very thin and sizes are variable. It used to be bigger. £30 worth of sushi and sashimi, not worth it.

Great food, really really enjoy the range they have. Love the unagi and pleased you can order extra unagi sauce. Prawn katsu also stayed surprisingly crispy as well. Our new favourite Japanese takeaway

My husband and I love sushi and had tried so many sushi places in London. We live quite far away and luckily found Sakura one day while driving through West Wickham. The food is always good, especially chicken katsu curry which is such a steal for its price. Sushi is always fresh and nicely presented, I love their salmon temaki. Needless to say we’re one of the regular customers visiting Sakura at least once a month. Also we highly appreciate the helpfulness of the staff!

Best restaurant for miles. Food is amazingly fresh, cooked beautifully, and the family that run it know what they're doing and do it very well!

Let me clarify something that was misleading in other reviews. This is a restaurant but with only 2 tables. You would need to book or come early. They clearly cater for a lot of deliveries. We went Sunday lunchtime and found the welcome very warm. Nice choice of food. Fish was very fresh and they use real Japanese rice. Portion size is generous. So many restaurants do not and there is a difference. Nicely cooked hot dishes and well made sushi. Will absolutely use this place again but probably for take away. They tried very hard to accommodate our needs.

We had a delivery from Sakura, and the food was generally very good. The delivery was prompt, and the food was quite good value for money (£60 for 6 people). We all had different food, and whilst it's not THE best Japanese food I've had, it's really not bad - and given there's almost no Japanese restaurants locally, we'll definitely be using them again. I can definitely recommend Sakura, good value, good website for online ordering, quick delivery, and good food.

Amazing sushi delivered yesterday, everything was utterly delicious and so delighted to have found Sakura on-line. Thanks to all the previous reviewers for the recommendation. Don't hesitate to order. Wonderfully helpful on-line and on the phone too. Massively recommend.

I thought I would try a different Japanese takeaway but it wasn't as good as Sakura. So I keep coming back to this takeaway as I never was disappointed even once.

I had been meaning to try this place for a while and finally ordered from here last month. My husband and I were both really impressed, the sushi was fresh and tasty as well as the hot dishes. If I am honest I was unsure what a small local sushi place would be like but it was so nice and we are definitely going to be regulars!

The app says you are required to spend a minimum of £18, we spent almost £20 and then was still charged for delivery.

known of the sushi was fresh in fact some of the fish had started to brown, the whole meal was a waste of money. very disappointed.

I ordered teriyaki chicken and it was not teriyaki chicken very poor not like the other teriyaki chickens I've had in the past disappointed

arrived quickly but unfortunately the tuna was just out of the freezer .. mostly still frozen !!

This place is great value for sushi. I 'm a sushi lover and order nearly every weekend. Hard saving money when the foods this good. The spicy salmon rolls are to die for and so the Chicken katsu curry which I'm going to ordering again today.

Worst sushi I have ever tried in my life. They was smelly, must have been done a week ago! I end up throwing out all of it. Waste of money.... If you don't want to get a stomach ache better AVOID!

Hemos sido clientes de entrega regular para llevar ahora por un par de años y seguimos viniendo aquí porque es un nivel tan alto! El sushi es fresco y hecho y nunca se siente agobiada. Un montón de cuidado y atención en la comida. Nunca hemos tenido, he tenido un orden incorrecto que en estos días es un auténtico milagro! También hemos puesto en algunos bastante grandes pedidos cuando tenemos a unos amigos y nunca nos decepcionaron. La comida es muy bien presentado y entregado de forma segura, sushi viene con palillos, jengibre, wasabi y salsa de soja - un montón de todo. El sashimi de salmón y pinchos de pollo teriyaki son grandes favoritos de la nuestra. Recomiendo si eres fan de sushi.

Tuvimos una comida para llevar desde aquí la última noche, nos complace siempre con la comida, pero no habían tenido un rato. Nos haven dejado de hablar sobre ello - nos la recipientes limpios una vez chuparse habíamos terminado. El katsu curry era tan sabrosa, los fideos picantes de calamar (un nuevo orden) era increíble, atún de aleta amarilla tan fresco. . No puedo recomendar lo suficiente!. ! ! Y no te sientes pesado la mañana siguiente como lo haría con un chino. No puedo esperar a la orden desde aquí

Delivery time was good and some bits of the sushi was OK. The salmon and tuna was completely tasteless which was disappointing as it looked really nice. Most of the rice was just like mush and over cooked and for the price I'd defo avoid this place... Shame really as it looked amazing.

The best sushi for delivery that I have ever had. Delivery slow at busy times but they kept me up to date. Very impressed overall; will definitely order again.

The sushi was awful. The seaweed was so hard I couldn't bite into it, and the fish (more noticeable with the sashimi) had definitely been frozen. God knows how old the fish was, but I couldn't eat it. It was very bland and overall poor quality. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to sushi and that was genuinely below standard.

Realmente quiero hacer mi gente bien soy un visitante frecuente y partidario de cafeterías y restaurantes locales.

Me quedé decepcionado con este sushi - el pescado en sí estaba bien, pero el arroz estaba insípida y blanda. Las verduras tempura eran como un indio, no baji densa luz y suaves como la tempura debe ser! Es una pena porque en otros comentarios que me hizo pensar que este lugar sería bueno.

Katsu curry came with the curry sauce already added so it was soggy, also too much salt was added and the rice was over cooked. Overall a big let down. Wouldnt reccomend or order again.

Good food (fresh and flavourful), good service (friendly delivery), resonable delivery time (45mn as I ordered quiet early in the evening. Prices are average for this type of food. I would definitely recommend it and will use it again. Good job Sakura sushi.

I've ordered from Sakura multiple times and they have never failed to serve fresh sushi. My other favourites include chicken katsu curry rice and donburi. This may not be the posh japanese restaurant you're looking for a very good fix for a healthy takeaway meal. Great value for money and friendly family-run service.

This is the first time we ordered from them. Great sushi, timely delivery. Just add more ginger next time. Will def use them in future- yum!!

Great food as always but food was 30 mins late. when I called the restaurant to find out where our food was they apologised and offered us a 10% discount next time we ordered. Previously the food has always been on time though.

Always order Sushi from Sakura, and definitely will continue to, brilliant food and great staff. Had a few times where the food was going to be slightly late and they've always called to apologize (and offer a free beer!)

I avoided this place when it opened as I couldn't imagine good sushi being sold in this corner of suburbia...but thought I'd give it a go the other day and glad I did. Not an expert in sushi so no particular knowledge to inform my review, but I love the sushi they sell here - it's great. Been back several times - I love the food they sell - esp the big rolls and hand rolls. The food tastes super good and beats shop sushi by miles. Really pleasant surprise for normally boring (on the food front) Hayes/West Wickham. Can't quite believe it's here - but it is. Go and try it.

it does take a while for the sushi to be delivered but it is WORTH the wait. It doesn't even matter that this is the only sushi takeout in this area, it's so good I will order again and again!

My wife and I ate here with our baby on Saturday evening and it was terrific. The tempura and spring rolls were lovely (homemade and clean fried!). The temaki hand rolls were a good size and delicious and the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu curry rice bowls were generous and delicious. A really nice, laid back dining experience that puts a lot of central London Japanese / sushi restaurants to shame. We will be back (many times!)
