We love Kosu Mosu! It’s a really nice restaurant. Great cocktails and the best sushi we’ve had outside of london. A fantastic addition to Fleet. Highly recommend! (Takeaway is great too)

Started as a dine in ended as a dine out as we couldn't stay to eat the mains 1 and a half hours after ordering. Plainly prioritising takeout over our party of 8. Waiter also did not manage the situation just seemed to hope we wouldn't notice. Seemed aggrieved when we did. Seriously unimpressed. The food was ok but then hunger makes most things taste better

Went here today for the 1st time for a lunch and oh my goodness it was so good defo coming back as a little treat, it is a little pricy but sushi is pricey so its worth it. Would recommend!

I made a reservation for a Saturday night and having eaten here before a few times and really enjoying it, I was looking forward it. However, after being seated for over 20 minutes, no staff approached or even looked at us at all, so we left. We calmly told the staff why we were leaving and we didn't even get any acknowledgement or apology, just a shrug and blank looks. Over the road to Esco we went and thankfully they looked after us exceptionally

Excellent food. Party of 6 and across all of the menu the food was very good indeed. All freshly made. Like a lot of the restaurants now, the dine in service experience tends to suffer because of take away food offering and the need to get it delivered quickly because of the delivery company pressures. Having said that it is one of the best restaurants in Fleet at the moment and I would recommend it as the food is superb and well worth waiting for.

Truly excellent. Better then sticks and sushi, better then yo sushi. The presentation, service freshness and quality of food was simply perfection. Absolutely wonderful. If I could give it a Michelin star I would.

Ok all, here's the rub ..the owners are over selling the covers, and accepting deliveroo orders which make seated customers food take too long. If you want a solid rep for good food then the service is imperative. Ages for drinks order , Mains took over an hour , whilst deliveroo comes and goes, really brings down the atmosphere, for a meal that was not cheap...focus on improving the dining area and experience and service ,leavee.a message if you want am improved review. Also our clothes stunk of fried food due to the restaurant layout. A shame to experience fresh food with solid flavoirs whilst deliveroo drivers are stood around pressing their faces to the windows

Has become mine and my partners go to for dates and impromptu dinners out, food is always made fresh with amazing quality and quantity for the price and location. Good vegetarian and vegan options as well :) Always have to go for starters as well as mains here purely to try something new, and have never been disappointed from surfing the menu! Would definitely recommend for both hot dishes; such as teppanyaki or katsu, or alternatively top quality well priced sushi made to order

We went first time to Kosumosu and we weren’t disappointed. We have few sushi rolls, miso soup and cocktail. All food was nice and tasty. We will come back again.

Ordered 1 bowl of chicken chilli chicken, IT WAS £15.99 PLUS FEE FOR DELIVERY WAS £ 20 . Absolutely disgusting to be honest

Staff were friendly and food came quick.

Whilst the food is nice the atmosphere and service was terrible. It took over half an hour for our order to be taken and another half an hour for the starter. When the main came after nearly 2 hours on a relatively quiet Friday lunch time, we had to wolf down what we could eat and leave what we couldn’t manage in the time due to school run. Food was okay but not great. Katsu curry bao bun was just chicken (no katsu flavour), bibimbap beef was cheap minced beef and was missing sauce (gochujang). Wine was vinegar. My husband asked me to never take him here again. Such a shame!

We went for a meal here yesterday, we booked a for 8.30 however when we got there they said our table was nearly ready. We then noticed someone was still sat at it. We waited for around 15 mins but weren't too concerned. When we sat down the couple next to us were complaining they still hadn't received all their starters, when the complained to the staff their remaining starters were brought out burnt. This couple eventually left before the rest of their food came and complained. An hour went by and we still hadn't received any food, the 3 tables around us were taking about how they hadn't received their for and it had been 1.5 hours. They had the air con on 17 which made it very cold and kept leaving the door open which made it even colder. And when you are for hours with nothing to so we really felt it. The servers also appeared to not tend to our section so we weren't able to voice our concerns. After an hour and a half I went to the court and asked if it was likely we were going to get food as the restaurant was now technically closed with the rest of the restaurant empty and none of us had received any food. Eventually our food arrived, which felt very awkward as the other table had now been waiting 2 hours for theirs. The food was amazing but I don't thinknid risk the service again

Nice decor and ambience. We had a superb pulled pork bao bun. Sushi was fantastic as well. Unfortunately the tempura prawns with spicy mayo was soggy. Perhaps mayo on the side would preserve the tempura's crispiness. The service was slow and bungled. 16/05/23 7pm

I had a FANTASTIC time here!! The service was WONDERFUL and the staff are LOVELY. Their dessert sushi is ONE OF A KIND. I would LOVE to eat here everyday - HIGHLY recommend. ❤️

Absolutely shocking service Ordered at 19:05 order never showed. Cowardly staff didn't pick up the phone or tell the delivery driver they couldn't fulfill the order. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

No food received, no answer on phones. They even redirected their phone and made it impossible for us to cancel the order. Would suggest they don't offer take aways if they cannot actually cope with the extra orders. So cannot recommend.

Why is sushi so expensive in the UK? This place is great food, I just wish it was like 30% cheaper.

First time trying this new sushi bar. Ordered takeaway via deliveroo, was here in 25 minutes on a friday evening and the food was excellent!! Very tasty and great value. Will be back!

It’s a shame because of the amazing reviews this place gets. I think it’s better for eating in then getting a delivery. They have forgotten items on my order on two occasions (both sushi!), given that this is a sushi house it’s quite annoying and disappointing. The Katsu curry is ok - the curry sauce very watery and a bit flavourless. My partner had the bibimap which he said was not that great either. The veg gyozas were really nice though and the dip they give is also really tasty. All round it’s a shame as it’s not cheap either, but we would try eating in to see if it’s a better experience.

Ordered 2 sushi rolls. Only one arrived. Was told there was nothing they can do. I am vegetarian and only the prawn sushi arrived. Left hungry and disappointed. Still waiting on a refund from deliveroo.

What a surprisingly good restaurant with great food. Tried my first proper sushi dish and it was amazing. Saki was a nice touch to end the evening. Highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant floor layout and peaceful dining environment. Food good, some dishes average Staff friendly and relatively quick for food (not so much drink), albeit could provide more insight regarding which drinks/food to order. Tip: don’t sit in the smaller room at the back as the door to restrooms causes people to walk past continually… I would return. Thanks 👍

Amazing food and service. Even when it is busy, they still have spectacular service. When, I went to the restaurant I had nigiri sushi and red thai curry. The sushi was perfectly presented and tasted great. The curry was the highlight of my day as it was just the right amount of spice and salt and stood out. The service was fast and the waiters were very kind. There was also many parking options nearby next to the restaurant. The place was hygienic and set a calming mood. Overall, the food, service and experience was spectacular.

Went this evening as a table of six, the service and food were absolutely amazing. We had sushi to share for a starter and I had the Yaki Udon which was so yummy. Highly recommend, if you like fresh tasty ingredients 😊😊

I have dined in twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. I enjoyed it throughly both times. (And I'm one of those people that is rarely satisfied when eating out). Its clean, the staff are lovely, and the food tastes delicious and fresh. I will definitely be going again. I'm vegetarian and my fellow diners are meat/fish eaters and they enjoyed too.

Popped in for lunch today and came away super impressed with this new sushi restaurant. The sushi was super fresh and prepared to order. The tuna and yellowtail nigiri were expertly crafted and the perfect size, not just a slice of fish sloppily placed ontop of rice like many places. The seared scallop nigiri was fantastic as was the spicy tuna hosomaki and yellowtail hosomaki. There is a lovely selection of Japanese Sakes, I believe the only place serving this until you get to London, as well as a full bar and wine list. Table service was attentive and prompt. The atmosphere was excellent as well, can't wait to go back!

Nothing wrong with the food but the online menu for the Fleet restaurant was incredibly out-of-date. We were looking for somewhere in Fleet to order lunch from and found Kosumosu. Upon arriving at the restaurant we found that the Fleet menu wasn’t accurate and some dishes were not actually available at Fleet. Also the prices were much higher than the online menu, our combined lunch was £56 according to the online menu but increased to £104 in the restaurant itself. The staff appeared to be unaware that the online menu was so incorrect. I emailed the company later to complain using the contact email address on the website only for the email to be bounced back … the website contact email address is not a real address. Very disappointing experience.

Dishes we had were all nice although if you're hungry you should have a starter which makes it pretty pricey but a welcome addition to the high street.

Had a lovely evening celebrating a friend's 50th. The meal was delicious. Really tasty. The sushi was fresh and nicely displayed. Just a shame the waitress was slightly aloof and it took awhile to get our table cleared of all the dishes.

After being given a table and menus we got not further service so never got to eat. Walked out after 20mins. Really disappointed as looked nice!

Went there for lunch. Food and service was absolutely incredible! Prices are reasonable and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Great food. Couldn’t fault it at all, all very lovely and fresh. Did notice a slight discrepancy with detail offered to some customers but not to others which was slightly annoying particularly if you haven’t eaten at a sushi restaurant before. The only thing I would say is a definite no no is taking plates away from the table when some of the party at the same table are still eating which is a Pet hate of mine. I would definitely go back and eat again with pleasure.

Came in the other night to find the place very busy, whats good to see. Service from waitress was excellent, the Bartender was really informative and willing to have a chat about the business. (the cocktails are lovely too) The sushi was really good, hot food was nice, could have done with it being a bit quicker but again it was very busy. My only issues are the restaurant is quite small so it can feel quite crowded and it got quite hot due to the heating. Will definitely be back.

Brilliant food this evening, although service was lacking, which appeared to be down to a lack of organisation, rather than intent. We loved the menu choices and the restaurant itself and will definitely go back, just hoping that there’s a little bit more finesse in the front of house, as this will pay back from more drink and dessert income. I'm a big fan of the Kosu Mosu in Farnborough so had to check out the new restaurant in Fleet. To start we had tempura, gyoza and pumpkin korroke - all delicious. For my main I had the spicy teriyaki tofu which was also lovely. The cocktails were nice too and excellent service from the staff. The only issue is the labelling on the menu is a little confusing, there were a few different icons next to dishes but no key to explain which meant veggie, vegan or something else.

Really slow service, waitresses in knowledgeable & spend more time chatting than serving customers, it was a struggle to get the bill.. .. the Katsu chicken curry was watery and lacking in flavour - the sushi was nice.

Tl;Dr - Excellent food, really nice setting, and hope to see it thrive in Fleet. We've been to the Farnborough branch which is more of a cafe takeout vibe and enjoyed it. This is much more of a restaurant setting and they've done a great job. Contrary to other reviews I definitely didn't feel on top of anyone else and the atmosphere was pleasant. Service was friendly and helpful with an allergy query. Food was fantastic from start to finish. We had chicken yakitori, beef bao buns, and pumpkin croquettes to start. Sweet chilli chicken and the spicy chilli chicken udon soup for mains. We then shared a custard doriyaki which was cut into quarters so perfect for sharing. It was a weds night so we didn't go for the cocktails but I'd say if they're trying to be a restaurant AND bar then I'd have have more of a description on what the cocktails were as I'd never heard of some of them. Loved the whole thing - can't wait to go back!

Ate here for birthday on 8th Feb. Busy for a Tuesday. Had beef Bao buns and karrage chicken for starters and various sushi for main. All excellent quality as were the Japanese Lilt cocktails. Would recommend.

3 of us had a great meal here in the evening. Service was really friendly and prompt, and the food came nice and quickly. Went for a hot Japanese dish and really fresh and tasty. The cocktails with sake looked good too, although wasn't brave enough. Would recommend. I'd like to be able to book a table online rather than through Facebook messenger next time though.

The waitress was lovely but seating very crammed. We were seated so close to another family I felt as though we were encroaching on their space. The starters, miso soup and sushi were very good but when my chicken terriyake arrived I was so disappointed. The chicken was re-constituted small pieces all joined together by sinewy elastic material that was difficult to cut. That coloured the whole experience for me sadly.
