Not cheap (at least £50, per head if you have 3 courses and stick to soft drinks) but the food is excellent quality. There were 6 of us and everyone loved every course. Nice calm atmosphere and professional friendly staff.

The meal and service were so great i couldn't help myself but to get 3 courses, even as someone who rarely even has 2. The risotto was divine, the starter sublime, the drinks great and the dessert wonderful. Will definitely be back.

We had our wedding reception at Sorrento for 72 people and we can not thank them enough. The venue looked beautiful with flowers, sparkly lights, and linen tablecloths; the staff all looked superb. From the initial idea of us holding our reception here, the whole team could not have been more welcoming and helpful; full of ideas to make our day extra special. On the day the food was amazing, it is difficult to believe they produced the quality for so many guests at once and the attention to detail from the staff was exceptional, a number of our guests commented on how attentive they were We also engaged Ian (Classic Sinatra) and the dance floor was packed all evening - again from initial contact he was communicative, professional and delivered a fantastic show on the night. If you are thinking of just going for lunch/dinner, having a family get-together, or hosting a large group I can not recommend Dani and his team enough. If you have not yet been to Sorrento you are missing out!

As ever the most perfect fun filled evening Staff so so welcoming, food delicious My partner had the most divine breaded veal and pasta a taste sensation Starter we shared the Gorgonzola mushrooms..taste sensation I had lasagna as my favourite always there To top it off Ian Gallagher was singing so the atmosphere was fantastic..so many of us dancing Thanks for having us, we will see you soon

Just had a late night dinner, tasty, great wine and a lovely Tiramisu to finish it all off.

I loved the pleasant atmosphere with an outdoor area accessible to all types of customers and excellent service, the food was tasty with a variety of drinks, the pizza was very delicious, congratulations to the chef Rui, 1000 points!!!! Congratulations, I highly recommend it

I have to say this was the most authentic Italian food I have eaten since our trip to amalfi . The staff were really professional the atmosphere was relaxing . A wonderful birthday meal

We come back a few times and the kitchen has improved together with the service. Keep going towards that direction and this place can easily become a top destination in Fleet for enjoying Italian food.

This was my first lunch here, and it won't be the last. They have a special menu on Thursday, very reasonable and food as always is fabulous. I would definitely recommend you visit at some point, as you won't be disappointed and you will want to go back time after time. It's our favourite restaurant

The atmosphere was quite as v early in the day.

I came back to the restaurant because it was really delicious when I visited before even I live in London. I chose a different menu this time, but the salad, lamb, and Carbonara were all delicious! My child ordered pizza, and the crust was fluffy and very tasty! It was also very satisfying with a great portion. I would recommend stopping by this restaurant in Reading if you ever happen to travel to the western part of the UK!

Beautiful Italian in Fleet. The food was outstanding 👌, my lasagne was as good as I've ever tasted. The service was exceptional, attention to detail and a little banter. The place is lovely with a little slice of Itally in the decor. I'd definitely go again.

Visited on the 14 April with 11 family members..the food and staff were excellent as per,we shall return soon...one issue tho'...there were a couple of people in the new outside area that were sat by an open window smoking,I'm sure that is against the Law. When the double doors were opened it was bloody cold,and the smell of cigarette smoke wafted into the restaurant.

Very nice, reasonably priced restaurant away from the busy Fleet High Street.

Unfortunately not the best experience. Issues we encountered were , Ordered fillet steak with cheese sauce and it turned up with peppercorn sauce (They did offer to bring a new steak) but we all wanted to be eating at the same time. One pizza was wet/undercooked. Lasagne was ok One pizza was 100% Perfect. All the starters were good. Had finished our first drinks and was a very long time sat with empty glasses before we were actually asked if we wanted another. Would of had at least one more round if they had been more observant. Old glasses left on the table so tricky for waiter to place new drinks down. 10% service added to bill which is fine but they do need to get things right. Would we return? More things wrong than right so its a no.

We hadn’t been to sorrentos in 7 months due to life getting in the way However we returned last night with family and oh what a night! the staff first are what makes this place all so wonderful welcoming and can’t do enough for you! Food as per was sensational..icing on the cake was Ian Gallagher a resident rat pack singer bring on! The whole restaurant was alive with singing and dancing Even my in-laws ages 85 and 82 were up dancing We will see you soon guys as no way will we not be back for so long! Sorrento fleet is a definite must for great food and drinks

It was almost comical how a dreadful singer came in mid meal and ruined the dinner. If we were warned before hand we would have asked to be away from the speaker but it started as we got our mains and was so loud it killed all conversation at the table and ruined the meal not gunna lie. Such a shame the food was a little bland but okay and the staff were lovely

Tables are too close to each other ,the chairs touching the behind chairs,we had a reservation and been offered a table for 4 exactly in the middle of the room,where everyone walked to get in or out.🤦‍♀️ I ordered spaghetti carbonara,which was full of grease, couldn't eat it ...not recommend at all this dish 🤢 I do not plan to go there again.🤷‍♀️ Sorry for the staff,they were pretty much nice.

Went for a friends birthday lovely restaurant friendly staff and good food. Portion sizes were very good we all enjoyed our food.

My husband and I attended the restaurant to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We deliberately booked an early table, wishing to avoid the noise and bustle of later on a Saturday evening. We've visited before and would again! The general ambiance is very pleasant and relaxing, nothing felt rushed. The food was hot and delicious! Dennis was very attentive, without being overbearing and added to our overall experience. Thank you Sorrento, we'll be back!

We were a party of 32 and were given an area of the restaurant to ourselves, which was great. The main courses were served speedily, so no one was waiting too long. The food was generally good, although my Farfalle Verdi could have had more flavour. Some dishes of vegetables for the tables would have been a welcome addition. My banoffee pie was not a pie (no pastry) but more of a slightly bland cheesecake with a very few tiny bits of banana between the creamy top layer and the thin biscuit base. There was no toffee whatsoever! It was very disappointing. Given that we were paying £20 for 2 courses, maybe corners had to be cut. If that was the case, I’d have preferred a smaller portion of something that lived up to its name. Despite the negative aspects, the overall experience was good and there was a warm, friendly atmosphere—and the waiting staff were efficient and polite.

Great venue for my brother’s birthday today. Such friendly service, relaxed and warm atmosphere. Authentic Italian food and good portion sizes. Plenty of parking and no hassle for any of us to arrive from different places and meet as a family. Thank you to the Sorrento team! 🙂

What an amazing meal in a lovely place, would definitely go back again

Went on a Friday night and they had a singer through dinner then they moved tables to make a dance floor, even staff joined in dancing. Food was delicious and quite big portions. Good range of drinks and cocktails. Had a great night.

Nice for but very quiet for a Sunday lunchtime

I went with family and close friends to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we all agreed that the food was excellent. We chose from the extensive menu ( we were not there for the Christmas menu ) and the portions were very generous. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and it is perfect for family get togethers.

Good times will be had by all at this genuine Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 Delicious food from the wood fired 🪵 🔥 oven, lovely atmosphere and service. Pizzas were lovely, as well as pasta and salad dishes. Fried Brie on the specials was a nice treat and portions were generous 😋

We have been coming to Sorrento for a few years now - we have always had great service (very attentive staff) food has always been as described & full of flavour- nothing is ever too much! There aren’t many family run restaurants left around. The restaurant can be very busy at times - but the staff don’t let it affect the service or the quality of food. 10/10

Authentic Italian cuisine we had with nice ambience and decor and good food portion; especially the seafood flavor we had in the mussel and risotto which was so fresh and enjoyable! Highly recommended for date night as well as family gatherings!

Ordered from just Eat at 18:30, they were to busy to answer the phone when we tried to cancel at 20:30 when it hadn’t arrived, finally delivered at 21:40 stone cold and inedible…then claim it wasn’t there fault….RUBBISH, avoid this place

I attempted to contact the restaurant over 20 times but there was no answer. We then attempted to cancel the order but found no way to do so. An unexpected great dinner - friends led us here and the food was very good.

The staff was very kind and polite ,we didn’t expect to have such a nice and lovely service because it was really busy the moment we arrive and I would recommend the pizza the best pizza we ever have

Kept waiting for our booked table which was not ready, this would not have been a problem although when we were shown to our table it consisted of a round table and square table butted together for the 5 of us! We were placed in what appeared to be a corridor area by the serving hatch so it was constantly busy. One of our party's chair was actually touching the chair of the group behind her. Food was delicious, although the Calzone could have been classed as slightly burnt on the top and the 'pollo sorrento' chicken dish did look like it had just been slopped on the plate with not enough vegetables. We didn't feel like we were 'looked after' and it felt like they had overbooked and it was too busy, this was in complete contrast to our previous excellent experience.

This is our 3rd visit, and won't be our last. My folks was here for weekend and decided to treat them to dinner. They are impressed and we all will be back at some point. Staff very friendly and helpful, a must for a busy restaurant. Thank you to mangers and team for a fab evening. We will return in the future. If you haven't been, you must!

Best place for a celebration. Staff are so welcoming, the food comes out hot and tasty!

I shared eight dishes, including pasta and the main course, with my friends' family. Every item was delicious, especially the Lamb dish with outstanding seasoning and tenderness. The pizza from the kids' menu was unexpectedly tasty; the children are eager to revisit just for it. The staff's service was excellent, and the restaurant's popularity was evident, as it was always packed during dinner.

Came in for an impromptu lunch today, service was fantastic and the food was excellent, good sized portions too. Look forward to coming back soon.

Just had a fantastic evening. Couldn't fault anything even if I tried. Food is quality. Staff are all on top of their game. The singer added for a great atmosphere.

Our first visit and definitely not our last! We come to fleet very regularly to visit family. We always enjoy a meal out when here and try a different place each time. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and if you have any left overs they will happily tray it up for you!

Been in for Lunch today, was with my daughter in her power wheelchair. Access and tables - no problem for the wheelchair, staff attentive and made sure we were in ok. We had cocktails to start - Very Good Food Arancini to start - wow nice big balls lovely tomato based sauce We had a pizza and lasagne, mixed salad and chips - salad very fresh - all food really tasty and good portions. Had lemon sorbet for desert, just right and my daughter had a crepe. Really good food and service, great family ran restaurant. Will return again. Thanks

Our first visit to the Sorrento, a resturant that came highly rated. My partner and I unfortunately chose the monkfish from the special menu. The fish had not been prepared properly, the membrane had not been removed. The fondant potato was under cooked and dry as was the tiny broccoli floret. The bacon was very fatty and also under cooked. All in all a poor meal. When staff were informed the reply was well I did ask if everything was OK. Our food had only been with us for about a minute. When the bill arrived we were disappointed to see that the full amount had been charged. I cannot envisage ever returning.

Had a lovely lunch with my niece. Salmon Toscano, which is a gluten-free (potato rather than pasta) dish. Superb cooking. Menu has good choice of gluten-free pasta dishes, too. Outdoor and indoor seating areas - very nice outdoor planting. Located near the Basingstoke Canal which has pleasant walks.

Got let down by relatively local pub for Sunday lunch birthday celebration. So came home and found that Sorrento do Sunday roasts ! Who knew and wow they are fantastic. Fantastic service , great wine and finished off with superb puddings . All this found by accident in our doorstep . We will be back

Excellent food and service. One of the best restaurants in Fleet.

Great food, but the service was shocking. My first time here and it showed. It was obvious who were regulars as they received all the attention. Ordered a drink when we got in, and had to wait until my food was delivered to be able to ask for another. So, if you're a regular great, but don't expect attentive staff if it's your first time.

We went for a last-minute celebratory dinner and could not have had a better experience. Very kind and caring staff and the food! That was soooooo delicious! We shared the funghi starter and the calzone to ensure we had space for the Banofee and Tiramisu. 😀 and none of them disappointed. We'll definitely be back soon.

Been coming here regularly for over a year, our favourite restaurant in Fleet

We attended tonight for an anniversary meal. There were 6 of us in our party. Apart from struggling to find somewhere to park as the car park was full the evening was great. The service friendly, the food fantastic and the restaurant was busy but still manageable. Staff could not do enough for us. I q Would go again

The most perfect evening! The food was authentic and outstanding. The team went out of their way to make my Dad's evening extra special by making him his favourite Italian dessert, which wasn't even on the menu. We are only sad we haven't been to Sorrento sooner and can't wait to return. It was the best evening out we've had in a while and my Dad was just thrilled. Thank you Sorrento!

Although local, have not been for a long time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and variety on offer. Service was attentive and the staff checked we were enjoying our meal. Three off us had the salad as a main and they were very generous portions and the chicken was well cooked. Would definitely visit again.

We went on Sunday lunch time and the restaurant was empty. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. They didn't hover, but were always available. The food was ok, but lacked some flavour. The menu was good, with variety and plenty for everyone. The drinks were good and the bottle of wine we had was excellent.

The restaurant's ambience and decor were elegant and welcoming, providing the perfect atmosphere for a memorable evening. Additionally, the service was top-notch, with attentive waitstaff who catered to our needs and made us feel like a VIP. Margarita Monday's is where it is at! Delicious pizza washed down with an even better cocktail. We finished with a tiramisu which was amazing and a cheese board which was very generous and also excellent what a great evening .

The last time I ate here was about 3 years ago and it wasn’t good then however my friend booked a table for this evening and I thought I would go as she said it’s changed management since and that the food is really good. She wasn’t wrong! We both had a delicious 3 course meal, service was excellent and attentive. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We spent the most lovely afternoon at Sorrento, with over 30 family and friends to celebrate our son’s Birthday. We were offered the space at the back of the restaurant, which worked really well with ample seating and space for our guests. The restaurant manager was very flexible and accommodating, we were able to decorate the space and make it our own for the afternoon. The food was incredible, we agreed on a selection of dishes beforehand; with each dish brought out at a time to suit us - always fresh and super hot, our guests loved everything! The staff went above and beyond catering to our every need, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this place for a celebration or otherwise - we can’t wait for our next visit!
