Good value restaurant with friendly staff.

Had a takeaway marinara pizza... Base was super crispy, olive oil was sweet and floral, a hearty amount of garlic and a sprinkling of basil. Delicious. The restaurant ambience was Mediterranean with an alluring smell of grilled fish and fried garlic in the air. I felt very relaxed waiting for my pizza with a small cold beer in my hand. Amazing. Keep up the good work guys!

Excellent choice for a meal out during our 3 night stay at The Elvetham. Beautiful calamari and garlic bread starters. Pasta also excellent as was the service. It was a bit quiet being a Wednesday evening but lovely surroundings. Highly recommend Sorriso!

Food was excellent. We walked in and were able to be seated without prior booking. We all had pizza, they were all piping hot and tasty. Great pizza. Customer service is ok, room for improvement, as little interactions n no smiles or overly welcoming, but the food wins you over.

We really like this place, excellent food, nice ambience, good service. We visit this place several times a year. Unfortunately the service charge is now 12.5%, we unfortunately will not be visiting this place again sadly. The .5% on top of the 12% is almost petty.

One of the best Italian meals we have ever had! We walked in off the street, no booking and the staff sorted us a table for 2, bearing in mind it was nearly 8pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy so expected a little wait but this was nothing we felt was unreasonable or unwarranted and frankly when we did get our food it was gorgeous! Well worth it. We had the Foccacia share starter, then Chicken Milanese and Creamy Fetticine with Mushroom and Chicken. A large glass of white wine, a pint of shady and a bottle of water for just under £70, which we consider very reasonable. Will visit again without hesitation so thank you to the team for looking after us and making us feel very welcome.

Although the staff are nice, I’ve been consistently underwhelmed by the dishes. The food has very little flavour or variety.

Absolutely delicious food 🍝 🍕 🍷 But service was slow considering the restaurant only had 3-5 tables on a Thursday night. We were in there for almost 3 hours!

Well. What a lovely surprise. Visited on a Sunday for a first day. I can’t fault this place. Great service and ambiance. I had the salmon pasta which was out of this world. So so good. My date had the penne chicken we both had deserts that were gorgeous and impeccably presented. Great value. Highly recommended

Consistently good food, with friendly and attentive service. Lovely flavours, and cooked just right, with care - it's always a pleasure to eat here. The white and rosé wines available by the glass are all very easy and pleasant, and complement the food nicely. Last time we were here, we looked up what "sorriso" translates to in English; it means smile, and we certainly do! The pizzas look great, the starters have a nice range, the seafood pasta dishes, and meatballs are delicious, and the mixed seafood and salad platter is a favourite for us.

Nice place. Calamari and prawns were tasty. Pizza is good but no olive oil for drizzle offered. Young lad server is a credit to them, as the main honcho/unsure If owner is so unfriendly and rude. Expect no thank you, please or welcome. For the price you pay, some polite service is surely not too much to have.

This is the best pizza we’ve had in a long time and possibly ever! We ordered the Sorriso and Seafood pizzas, both had ample toppings and were full of flavour. Excellent friendly customer service and pizzas were ready and cooked fresh in 10 minutes. I never leave reviews but this Italian thoroughly deserves it, on the basis of their pizza alone. We will be back again in the future 5*

It was a Tuesday night in February so understandably quiet. However, that aside the ambience was convivial, the food was great, the waiter polite and attentive. We had a very enjoyable family meal with enough options on the menu to suit everyone's taste. Would definitely go back.

Paired with a lighter than air Nero d’Avalo. My other half enjoyed a salmon fettuccine and a delicious Grillo Chiara. Apple pie was amazing too. Cannot fault the meal, it was perfect. An all round lovely evening.

Gem of a local Italian, found from google reviews while visiting the local area, so couldn’t not give it 5* to guide others here too! Delicious pasta dish (fettuccine with salmon) with top quality wine at reasonable prices. Attentive service too without being too much. Try it!

Visited the restaurant with my family on the 2nd of June. Very pleased with the way they were handling the Covid measures. Very please with the food (slow roasted pork belly) and the service. Will visit again for sure

As a Hartley Wintney resident, I have always loved Sorriso and have visited many times. However, my veal dish had many bone fragments in it. When I complained, the waiter told me it was from the ground Italian sausage in the dish. It may well have been, but I don't want to eat bone fragments. The meal wasn't removed from the bill, when I said I wasn't paying for it the waiter became aggressive and fronted me up in front of my family. A really poor show, we won't be back...👎

Went here a couple of times last year and had a great meal. Went again last night ith a party of 6 and they didn't let us down. Amazing food, great service and great value. There was a large party of about 16 on the adjoining table they also commented on leaving how good the whole evening was.

We visited Sorriso me and a group of eight for our company’s Christmas party, and we cannot be more happy with our choice. The food was great, and the service we pleasant polite and fast. Definitely recommend and we’re gonna visit again. Paul

Visited this restaurant on Christmas day. service excellent, staff lovely, food top notch-flavorful, beautifully presented and almost to much. Everything was spot on yet the staff did not fuss around us, they just appeared at the right moment. We had a 1 year old and a 5 year old with us and the waiter arranged a micro meal for the 1 year old and a pizza as requested for the 5 year old. Considering the quality of the food and the day we booked, the bill was very good value and carried out with a smile-brilliant

Lovely Mediterranean Restaurant...

We were a party of four and all chose different dishes and we were all really impressed with the standard of food and how generous the portions were, the bill was also very reasonable and actually less than we had expected. Our friends returned the following week and had equally as good a meal.

I've eaten here twice and each time the pizzas were incredible. Portion sizes are massive - I struggled to eat all of my main. Only complaint was the parking was a little difficult - but I was informed later that there is a car park nearby. Best pizzas in the area - would recommend to others.

The food was average, but it was more the attitude of the waiters! Unfriendly, unsmiling and I guess unhappy! Wouldn't go back, too much competition in the area to put up with that misery!

Last minute decision to come here for an anniversary meal and what a fabulous meal it was! Service was impeccable and so friendly. Restaurant was very quiet which is what prompted me to write a review - they so deserve to be packed every evening!

We live in Sandhurst but are regular diners at Sorisso’s. They consistently deliver excellent and tasty food and the service is always good and attentive. It’s great to see that since we’ve been visiting in the last couple of years they are getting busier. So much better than going to any chain restaurant as the food is always fresh.

We booked for 3 but ended up as 4, despite it being a very busy night there, they were happy to accommodate our changes. The service was very good, again despite it being very busy. We had a variety of food between us (pizza, pasta and meat) and it was all delicious.

Having recently moved to Hartley Wintney we decided to try Sorriso for the first time, I'm glad we did! The meal was amazing and the spaghetti dish was the best I've ever had. We had garlic bread starter (big enough for two to share) and can't wait to take friends here to try more of the menu. Our waiter was attentive and friendly.

Great food, beautifully cooked and a very good menu choices! Good portion sizes, no skimping here! Only complaint is that it was quite noisy and when we wanted to pay the bill, bit tricky to catch the eye of the waiters. Been before several times and will definitely return.

This is our kids favourite place for pizza, and we always enjoy eating in and take out. Family friendly.

It so nice to be able to go to a traditional Italian restaurant and be able to order gluten free options, especially pasta. Lots of different sauces to choose from. I had the chicken and cream sauce but the flavour of tarragon was a little too strong for me. Well cooked though and my starter of chorizo and scallops was excellent.

We have been here a few times and have always had good food, service and wine. No change this time. Sardines and Sea Bream excellent, changed the chips to saute potatoes, good choice. the House red Scilian was really fruity. The glutton free options were expalined well by the server and Jane chose the chicken pasta dish, she was beaten by the size of the portion and her usual starter of scallops and chorizo was excellent. Strangely, not busy this time, but not a problem for us. £69.

We had our first ever dinner in Sorriso last night and it won't be our last. Food and service were excellent. The front part of the restaurant lacks a little ambiance is the only negative comment I would have. Otherwise loved it !

We live in Hartley Wintney but hadn't tried Sorriso until last night. A friend recommended it to us. I am glad they did. We enjoyed the 2 starters and shared seafood platter very much. There was some Greek influence as well as Italian so good choices on the menu. We were served promptly being the first diners at 7pm. A nice evening thank you.

My wife and I live in Hartley Wintney and visited this restaurant some years ago. At the time the food was ok but the atmosphere was quiet as there were only 6 people dining (us and a table of 4) and this on a Saturday evening.

I'd like to be clear - I don't mean the Waiter was bad, I actually felt very sorry for him as he was basically running the entire restaurant on his own and was just completely rushed off his feet for the entire time we were there. I don't know if someone had phoned in sick, but we had to wait 25 minutes to order food and had finished for quite some time before our plates were taken away.

Pleasant food, fairly typical English Town Italian, nothing amazing but still perfectly fine.

I love italian food and a friend that had recently visited told me about this place. I had to drive from Reading on a Friday night but it definitely worth it!!!
