Incredible meal from start to finish. Simple things like ice cold glasses for beer and bottled water refreshed. Delicious food, fantastic and attentive service will definitely be back soon.

Attention to detail and food to die for. Sometimes the whole experience is what determines the high score I gave. The service was exceptional, the beer was cold and the very fine food was piping hot. I also think that the price was reasonable for such quality.

Booked but had to cancel after moving booking twice, staff so helpful and responsive over the phone and couldn’t have been more polite despite me changing the booking so many times. Will definitely rebook soon!

We went at 7pm on a Saturday evening and were served quickly and efficiently. It did get busy as the evening went on and was therefore very noisy, but this wasn’t a problem. Excellent food, freshly prepared and very tasty. We didn’t have dessert, so can’t comment on them, but starters and mains all of a very high standard. We would certainly recommend and return.

We have been to this restaurant several times now for lunch when in the area and it never disappoints. Just an all round great traditional Italian restaurant. Pasta dishes and pizzas are fabulous and very tasty. Cannot fault their customer service on all occasions we have been.

We absolutely love it here, Every time we go the chefs are unbelievable and the staff are very friendly and quick, no delays and a very good atmosphere. We are always looked after start to finish, love it! For the food… it’s no doubt one of the best places you’ll eat, I’m not sure what chefs they have in the kitchen but they may as well cook with Ramsay at this point! Consistent every time we go and always packed with flavours! Peter is my favourite staff member, always very happy and very professional! If you catch a day that he is on shift then you in for a treat! What a man, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Absolutely Fantastic!!! Visited this lovely buzzing Italian Restaurant in Odiham High Street , last night for a surprise birthday treat . It could not have been any better ! We had a cosy table , Superb Sauvignon blanc , Calamari , Sardines , Funghi , and Pollo Postiano , followed by Homemade Banoffi pie , and pistachio and vanilla gelato . The service was second to none , it felt a very personal service , and nothing was too much trouble . Our waiter , Peter ,, and the other staff made the evening very special . Thankyou . Can not wait to return !

We came for an early Mother’s Day celebratory lunch. The atmosphere was very relaxed which is perfect for us. Despite the relaxed atmosphere the place was busy and the staff need to be commended for keeping up with every table with ease. We didn’t wait for anything, nor missed anything. We also weren’t rushed which is a huge bug bare of mine. Even the chef came out to make sure we were all happy at one point, it really felt like the whole team cared. The best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time, traditional customer service at its finest. The food was delicious! Will definitely be revisiting, especially for a Limoncello spritz in the sunshine!

The best restaurant,really really nice

Terrible experience. The meals are not freshly prepared, you would be better off getting a frozen meal from the shop! Much cheaper and less stressful. The service is shocking, we were served by a tall chap with glasses, who at first was welcoming but when we made a small complaint about the starters he became blunt and rude and left us waiting ages. We then left and had a main course at the Indian down the road which was delightful. Will not be returning.

Two birthday visits, one with family and one on wife’s actual birthday two days later. First was a busy Saturday evening with two other birthday parties and a full restaurant. Excellent prompt friendly service and wide ranging Italian food. Food all served piping hot, nicely prepared and presented. Ample portions and tasty. Large range of large quality pizzas. All items reasonably priced. Good range of quality wines and excellent coffee. Tables quickly cleared of empty plates and glasses.. Good decor and spotless toilets. With a large number of people present it was a trifle noisy. Possibly the acoustics could be improved. Second visit early lunchtime mid week. Visit made because the first one was so good. Again excellent service and food. Look forward to going again

A late booking on a Saturday night. Place was very busy and very noisy! I had lasagne which was ok but no better than that. Seemed like too many tables squeezed in for the size of the place. Service good but overall experience just ok.

This is a fantastic little place. The food, service and atmosphere are all wonderful. One of our party has a gluten-free diet and she had a lot of choice (the menu clearly shows gluten-free options). She had a gluten-free chicken and pasta meal which was very tasty. We'll definitely be returning.

Quiet lunchtime meal. Lovely selection available. Only had a starter and main (salmon tagliatelle) and struggled to eat it all. Had a lovely creamy sauce with the fish. Look forward to going back again with it's a little more lively.

We had a very delicious lunch last Saturday at this restaurant. They have a great variety of options and an excellent wine list! The food was amazing, super delicious! For sure we will go back! The service was 5 stars, staff was very friendly and attentive! Highly recommended!

Takeaway pizza so can’t comment on the sit in aspect but realllly good pizza. Dough is lovely, bit if a mix between Neapolitan and Nee York style. Excellent!

El Castello is a favorite of friends, this was my first visit and enjoyed the whole experience. We had a reservation and upon arriving were met by friendly staff and seated immediately. Drinks orders were taken timely, as were our food orders, menu choices were very good, portions nicely sized, looked good on the plated and tasted great. Big shout out to all the staff, service make the evening, will recommend without hesitation, looking forward to the next trip back to the UK and El Castello.

We went there for my 80th Birthday celebrations, with all our immediate family, 22 of us, had an brilliant time, we would like to thank Tony and all his staff, they did us proud, the food was amazing and the service second to none, everyone is really friendy and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant unplanned meal last night. Absolutely delicious, great service, we managed to sit outside where we said we felt like we were out for a meal on holiday.

Starter was nice. Unfortunately had to send my Calzone back. Twice. First time there was hardly any filling. Just a layer of cheese with 4 bits of meat. Second time they filled it better but the vegetables were raw and unmelted cheese. Ordered a panna cotta for dessert and the consistency was wrong and it was drowning in biscuit and almond flake which overwhelmed the flavour of the rhubarb and vanilla. Very disappointed.

Really friendly atmosphere for family group with 7 moth old baby. One person ordered the squid starter which takes a long time to cook and this was explained at the time of ordering. All starters were worth waiting for, just meant we needed another bottle of wine, so can’t be bad. Four adults had three courses which were all tasty and freshly cooked to perfection. Service was attentive and great without intrusion. Without doubt, being fairly local, we will all return.

Excellent welcome with friendly and informal service and great food. They also were happy to meet my request for a favourite meal and provide an off menu pasta dish on request. Now that is going the extra mile and I'm sure to return

This little restaurant continues to be a family favourite for us. We have been here many times and absolutely love it. The pasta and other food is always fresh and delicious. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. The kids always get colouring and good options on the kids menu. A lot of passion and love goes into the food and it shows. We will continue to come here. Definitely visit if you love Italian food.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Classy but very child friendly and welcoming. Food was fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our meal and so did our toddler who was so full that he took himself to bed and fell asleep as soon as we got home!

8 of us went the night before a family wedding. The staff were brilliant as was the food. They couldn’t do enough for us and even made fishes that we asked for that weren’t on the menu.

Very nice meal with Fam, ask about Carbonara and if they did, the Italian owner told us Carbonara and Bolegnese are often omitted, just expected. Lovely chat, lovely meal.

We love this restaurant! The food is amazing, the staff are lovely and we always have a great night there! They are happy to accommodate our table of 7-9 adults and manage to get each meal out at the same time. I would thoroughly recommend El Castello!

The best restaurant i’ve been to regularly, i never really leave reviews but this place completely deserves it, they managed to fit us in late on a busy night and received excellent service. food arrived completely on time and was delicious, all the staff were lovely despite how busy it was. cant wait to come back again :))

Family birthday meal celebration. Service was spot on and food delicious. We chose different options from Pizza, chicken salad & Tuna steak which was cooked to perfection! If you like fresh tuna, this dish is definitely for you. Only 1 desert was had for the birthday girls as we were all full to the brim...definitely worth a visit for sure.

I organised a 60th Birthday Party there for myself on Saturday 1st April (No, this is NOT an April Fool!) There were 33 of us there at lunchtime, and we had between us seven (7) different starters, seventeen (17) different main courses and seven (7) different desserts from the menu. There were absolutely no quibbles or problems with any of them (which speaks volumes about its kitchen staff, who were so amazing), and the waiting staff were superb and could not do enough to make it a birthday meal to remember. All of the food was seemingly excellent. On previous occasions I have waxed lyrically about the Tiramisu that they serve there, saying that it is the best I have every tasted anywhere, so a large number of my guests decided to try it; none said afterwards to me "actually, it wasn't as good as you said", so clearly I am not exaggerating. A fantastic and memorable occasion and I need to thank everyone who works there for making it such a success.

Visited on a Monday early evening, good service, reasonably priced and decent food. Very kid friendly too. Would return as lots of options on the menu, we only had an hour so didn't get a chance to try much of the menu.

Had a lovely meal this weekend, excellent service and great atmosphere. Fully recommend the fresh pasta in truffle sauce. Friendly staff too.

Well, this was our first visit to El Castello, together with a friend. What a treat, the service was fantastic, the restaurant is stylish (and spotless) and the food was totally delicious. My crab tagliatelle was perfect. Thank you for looking after us so well, we'll be back!

Great traditional Italian restaurant

Best restaurant we’ve ever tried! El Castillo has never made me or my family disappointed, pizza and pasta is always spot on and they never fail to make us smile. Waiters are amazing, amount of space is just perfect. It’s a must and I would definitely recommend it! 11/10

I really enjoyed this cosy little Italian restaurant in the beautiful Hampshire town of Odiham. The food and service were very good; I recommend making a reservation as it seemed to be very popular.

Amazing food. We had Mushroom & Chicken Pasta and Penne Tomato sauce pasta. Both had very nice flavours. The staff are helpful and asked us if we would like to change anything in the dish. Very accomodating.

Came here for the first time and cannot praise the staff and food highly enough. Happily accepted my elderly dog to sit outside and gave her treats. My 7 year old son was made to feel very welcome too with a hearty kids menu and colouring pencils. We were all offered blankets incase we felt a bit nippy. The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We went to this restaurant today with my in-laws to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. The food was fantastic. I had crab tagliatini to die for, my father in law had a mussels starter that was great, and the homemade tiramisus are still, to my taste THE BEST I HAVE EVER TASTED ANYWHERE. The wine was smooth and great. Altogether a totally fantastic meal. The staff were also very helpful, friendly and attentive. A great way to spend our wedding anniversary. Thank you so very much.

Delicious food at a good price, and really friendly service. The Zucchini fries were super tasty as was the homemade pasta. Tastes homemade and not too much salt or oil, would eat here all the time if we lived in the area. Book ahead as it’s popular (since it’s so good). Highly recommend for a tasty casual family dinner.

This is a superbly attentive restaurant in the heart of Odiham, that has an outstanding menu and wonderful food. Our only issue was the lighting being so bright, could you possibly fit a dimmer switch!!

Easily found on the village's main street with tables inside and also outside on the wide pavement. Very friendly service with an immediate acknowledgement as we approached the doorway. Nice shady table, the server answered our questions about the menu and brought our drinks while...

Arrived unexpectedly to this wonderful restaurant. My sister is gluten free and the menu choice blew us away. The meal was sublime and service excellent. A must go! Will most certainly be returning.
