We had been looking forward to our visit as we had read good reviews. It was a disappointment as the food was average and the Swaad special chicken was so peppery I couldn’t eat it. I don’t mean spicy, I mean peppery! The following day we both had an upset stomach too. Not an experience I would like to repeat!

The food was really tasty and whilst the mushroom rice was a little greasy, there is little else I could complain about. Staff were really obliging and helpful. Will certainly look to return. Don't order for delivery from this restaurant! TL;DR. Ordered by phone at 7:18pm. Phoned again at 9:06 and 9:26 to ask where the order was. Told them we would not pay for this and order was eventually delivered about 9:45pm. The slip on the bag said it went out of the kitchen at 7:53pm, so was not delivered and accepted at the wrong address as claimed, and had been hanging around the restaurant for one and three quarter hours. Food was not good, the Chicken Swaad Wala was watery and the mushrooms looked as though they had come out of a tin. We phoned at 7:18pm to place an order for delivery. The call was answered after many rings, and was INCREDIBLY noisy at their end with people seeming to be shouting, and it sounded as though the call was being answered in a bathroom! It was very difficult to place the order, with everything having to be repeated, many requests for name and phone number and address and postcode (which was especially difficult), as well as the actual order. We were told that the order would be delivered in about three quarters of an hour. At 9 o'clock, the order had still not arrived so we called again at 9:06. again the call was incredibly noisy at their end, and hard to hear. We were told the order was out with the delivery driver and would be there in a couple of minutes (we are just down the road from the restaurant). By 9:15pm, the order still had not arrived so we called again, to ask what compensation they would be giving. They said that the order had been delivered to the wrong address, and had just been taken in at the wrong address. They said this happened quite often. We told them to refund our money; we will see whether this happens! We told then it was all too late and not to bother, but didn't know whether they heard or understood this as the call was so noisy. The order eventually arrived at 9:45pm. The Kitchen Copy on the bag said it had been out by 7:53pm, so had been hanging round the restaurant since then. And it was not very good when it did arrive.

I got a take away of this restaurant the food dosen t even get close to cuisine looks okay but the flavour is not there biryani don t feel any spice there and the curry that comes with eat awfull bryani come with a raita or something spicy sauce so unflavoured bryani to bad. Sorry for this review but I'm disappointed but is not even close for best biryani

This is arguably the best Indian restaurant in Fleet and the surrounding area. The food is excellent and the portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable if not cheap. I highly recommend the Swaad and will deal be going back for another meal very soon. One thing for certain is that you will not come away feeling hungry. If anything, you'll be like me and unable to eat another thing. Update 14/06/24 - I have been a regular customer at the Swaad since my first review. There is a new menu, and this has a tremendous number of choices of meals for you to choose from. The quality of the food is superb, and I still say that this is the best Indian restaurant by far in Fleet and the surrounding area. If you want a nice meal, look no further than the Swaad, I have had many meals there and I have never been disappointed with any of them. I no longer have to think of where to go now for an Indian meal. It's the Swaad every time.

Had our second takeaway from here and there really is nothing at all to fault. Absolutely beautiful food and still very hot on arrival.

Lovely interior design reflecting mountains and culture. Also delicious food, great chef and staff were really friendly. Definitely would love to come back again.

Food was absolutely fantastic, grwat falvours and portion size. Food was ready when they told me to come as opposed to the Chennai where you're waiting for 30 mins after the time they tell you to collect and it was least a 3rd cheaper. We much preferred the food too, far tastier than Chennai where we used to go but just got bored of the prices and the wait and food was sometimes mediocre. Delighted this place is open again.

We got takeaway from here for dinner and it was delicious! The staff were excellent when we picked up our order, the food was packaged really well and everything was so tasty. We think we even got a free little vegetable curry which was fantastic. We will certainly be ordering from here again and visiting in person soon! Thanks Swaad team 😊

After struggling to find a nice Indian restaurant in the Farnham area, we visited Swaad on a Saturday night. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was reasonably priced, absolutely delicious and served piping hot with great options for vegetarians. Will definitely be are go to Indian restaurant in future!

Fantastic food and service for 4 of us with very reasonable prices. Atmosphere only marked down by 1 star as it was quite quiet on a Thursday night (though better than being too busy!). Portions were very good and high quality ingredients and cooking made for an excellent all-round experience. Overall, it was great value with reasonably priced drinks too, the cheapest and best curry experience for a couple of years!

First time having takeaway from this place, and we are blown away! Each dish had so much flavour and was so delicious and fresh. The portions were very generous and such a good price! The service was so kind and helpful, we cannot fault this place. We will definitely be returning!

OMG the best indian food i have had in over 10 years!! Every single item was just perfect. I have struggled for years to find a good indian take away and have been disappointed with every single one and gave up on finding one. I randomly had a massive craving one evening and decided to give Swaad a go and WOW i wish i had sooner!!! Seriously everything was cooked to PERFECTION. Ive recommended to all my friends and family. So yeah.... i highly recommend them lol 😆

An extremely well run restaurant, service is excellent. A variety of dishes with options quite apart from typical Indian restaurants. Try the salt and pepper broccoli. It’s amazing.

First visit to this new addition to Fleet high streets plethora of restaurants. The food was to a very high standard, good quality and very tender meat with lovely spiced dishes. It was a little quiet which is not a true reflection of how good the food is, hence only 4 stars for atmosphere. We will be visiting again, highly recommend you visit if in the area or are a local thats not been yet.

Had a meal at this brilliant restaurant on Friday evening. There were a large group of us. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff, even packed the food we did not eat into takeaway boxes for us. The food is delicious, big portions and very well priced. Will definitely be coming back again!

Walked in on Saturday without booking and the staff were very helpful and got us a table ready. The tables had plenty of room you didn’t feel cramped in at all. The menu was interesting with a few dishes I haven’t seen before. All of te food we had was very tasty with decent portions. The staff were very good too. We decided to stop in as when we walked past a couple leaving told us how nice the food was. Completely agree and will be back to try some of the different dishes

Just had a take away, probably one of the best curry’s I’ve had in Fleet for a long time.

Arrived at 7pm very quiet then within 20 mins it got busier. Had poppodum followed by garlic naan and prawn curry which was very good & rice. The servers were super friendly Would return

This is my fourth visit to Swaad, each time the staff have been so lovely and welcoming. The food is fantastic, highly recommend the trio of chicken tikka, portions are large and it’s excellent value for money. To our surprise when we went to pay the bill, there was an extra 20% discount off food for this week!! Shame that it hadn’t been advertised a bit more, maybe a sign in the window might have helped.

This place is top notch, amazing friendly staff, terrific food, every friend I’ve come for a meal with absolutely loves it. Lovely people that deserve to do well so please try them for yourselves.

Recommended by a work colleague and good friend, figured it was worth giving it a go Cozy establishment without feeling cramped Staff were extremely efficient and attentive Menu is pretty standard….I do wish Fleet had a Kerala based restaurant tho I ordered the Fleet Famous Prawn special…and it was very good I could’ve done with it being spicier than what it was - to which the waiter said I could request that next time Best part of the dish was ZERO coriander In fact the lack of liberal use of that vile green herb makes me favour this restaurant Would I return…I would certainly like to

Had a take away few weeks ago from Swaad. Decent food and generous quantities. They gave us complimentary pulao rice and the food was piping hot. I’ll order again!

Good times will be had by all 🤩 Very pleasant staff and it has to be said that this restaurant is cheaper than others in the area. Brilliant food that didn’t burn a hole in my pocket and definitely filled me up. The only think I noticed is that soft drinks are in cans and not draught or in glass bottles. Hopefully this will improve as the place becomes more established. Very enjoyable evening, thank you 😋

Firstly, we eat out a lot both locally and afar. We have been to most of the Indian / Asian eateries in the area and we thought we would try this place due to the reviews. Unfortunately it wasn't good! The staff lacked the basics of setting the table, knives Abd forks laid down together rather than set.. That aside, we opted for a curry, rice, Tandoori and bread dish to sample. Curry was okay, rice was basic, Tandoori meat basically microwaved and never fresh from the tandoor, bread okay but very doughy. The establishment sits with most of the average indian / Asian eaters in the area, and if anything below standard. Not worth the visit and feeling robbed for the £60+ paid for two persons! Won't be back! Best indian in the area is Tandoori Treats, this place doesn't come near it for service and quality of food!

The staff took almost an hour to serve us. My food was far too spicy and didn't reflect this on the menu. The curry was average and most of the chicken was chewy. The staff looked like they had enough and were miserable for the few hours we were there. Would not recommend plenty of other better Indian restaurants around.

Excellent food and great service. This is the second time at this restaurant and both times we have been really happy with our food and the service. They are very friendly and the service was very quick. Will definitely be going again.

My partner and I ate here today for the first time, having seen all of the good reviews, and we were very happy with the experience. Great food, friendly staff, and a nice cosy atmosphere.

I'll start by saying that the food when it arrived, was OK. Pretty standard, generic, high-street Indian fare. Nothing to set it apart from anything you could find in several other Fleet Indian or Nepalese restaurants. What let the place down when we visited was the service. We waited approximately 40 mins before someone took our order. Then a longish wait for the food to arrive. My drink order was forgotten and I had to remind the waiter. Then the food turned up and the meat in my main wasn't what I ordered (lamb rather than chicken). By this stage, I was ready for calling it a day, but the lady who was (I think) running the place insisted that she'd get me the right dish, which in fairness she did within minutes. I'm not sure whether it was just teething troubles but the waiters seemed pretty clueless (barring the one that took our order) and seemed to be wandering around in a bit of a daze. Nobody seemed to be paying any attention to the diners other than to take orders and hand over the food. They seemed to be doing a really good trade in take-out food, which is probably their specialty. Serving guests doesn't seem to be. I think it's the first time in about a decade that I've not left a tip. We won't be going back. Shame.

Lovely dinner here, we were lucky to get a table at 8.30 on a Friday without booking as it was very busy. Great atmosphere and really attentive service by all the staff. The food was excellent other than just 1 dish which was just slightly too sweet for our taste but the owner took this very seriously and fed back to the chef, he also kindly took it off the bill for us even though we said not to. We will definitely be returning and bringing family & friends :)

First visit to this new, family run restaurant tonight. We loved it. Friendly staff, brilliant food and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed my Tandoori mushrooms starter (see photo) and the Fleet Favourite King Prawn main. Will definitely be returning.

Able to meet up Indian food expectation and overall average

BY FAR the best Indian in Fleet and the surrounding area. This place is in a different league. After moving to the area nearly 3 years ago we have tried all of the local Indian restaurants in Fleet but have never been very impressed with them compared to where we used to live. Swaad has recently opened and we have ordered from there twice in the last two weeks and it is delicious and the service is great. Especially from the young lad that greets you when you pick up your order and deals with you. Highly recommend. We've had 2 take outs so far but would like to have a dine in meal soon.
