Amazing food and wonderful service . It was my wife’s birthday and they made it very special . The manager Losan (not sure if I pronounce write ) and the server Ganesh both were just outstanding

I recently visited Guruji restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The highlight of our visit was the excellent service, especially from a staff member named Sub. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was perfect. Guruji is definitely a place I would recommend for both its delicious food and outstanding service!

Staying at the Holiday inn fleet next door so called in. Darjeeling lamb egg fried rice chilli naan superb. Tikka massala good too so i was told. Great service. Refurb coming it was not that bad. Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Service was “spot on” - attentive without being intrusive. Food was very well presented and a bit out of the ordinary curry house fare. We can recommend “grandma’s chicken”. Very pleasantly surprised by the bill when it arrived - such good value! We will definitely return

We had a great reception from front of house. Wonderful selection of popadoms and pickles on the house. We ordered butter chicken and Dansak together with Nan and mushroom rice. Portions were plentiful, staff attentive in a good way. Lovely spiced and flavoured food - we Weil return soon.

Delicious food and great polite and attentive service. I had a chicken tikka my wife had a korma and Bombay potato and onion bhaji and also rice and chapati. It was a Monday night so it was a bit quiet but it deserves to be busier.

Had a takeaway last night from here for the first time sadly one item was missing so phoned the restaurant who said they would send the missing item .When they turned up they had replace the whole meal food was the best iv tasted in a long time very fresh and very tasty

Brilliant night at the Ghurka Inn, this bustling friendly restaurant in the heart of Fleet is a must for anyone who likes great food, great service and a bustling atmosphere. The waiter took charge, knowing that we hadn't been there before and after asking what we likes in terms of heat/meat/veg, brought us an excellent meal. The food was outstanding, flavours and spices layered and the lamb tender. The waiter was much more than just someone who brings food to your table, he and the staff are your hosts. You feel that you are their guests and that they are there to ensure your enjoyment.

Great food and friendly service. Will definitely be back and look forward to seeing reburbished restaurant.

Not been for a couple of years but the service and the food is now excellent. Closing down soon for refurbishment so will definitely go again when it reopens.

Had a lovely chicken Korma in the Gurkha Inn, the staff are very friendly and polite, the food is very nice and the restaurant is spacious and comfortable to sit in, overall I would definitely recommend the Gurkha Inn for a fab meal.

Wow! Recommended by the Holiday Inn and the Gurkha Inn/Guru Ji, did NOT disappoint. Our host recognised that we were dining with an autistic child and ensured his needs were catered for. The food arrived hot, tasty and plentiful. The only down side was that the restaurant is going through a refurbishment which didn’t effect our dining experience but we have no doubt will look fantastic once complete. Overall, we too would definitely recommend the Guru Ji restaurant

Authentic gem of a Restaurant in the heart of Fleet next door to a great holiday Inn Express Hotel. What more can you ask for for but the genuine worth of a genuine Nepalese welcome supported b y great food washed down with a pint ( or two ) of 'Nepali' Lager which can out match punch for punch with any pint of Cobra Beer any time.A must visit if you are in Fleet. Thank you again. I will be back and so will my team !

I had a meal here just after it opened which was excellent and although i seldom eat out I went with a friend last night. I asked Nitin the waiter for a recommendation and his choice for me was really good plus a lovely coconut nan. So all good i a just sorry i cant remember the name of the chicken curry i had. Could not believe it was not so busy as it should be. So go try it 👍👍👍

Just great place to eat and as my pal and I are not big eaters it was nice to not feel pressured to offer more than we needed. Asked Nitin our waiter for his recommendation and the chicken curry he came up with was very good so tasty and I had to finish it all. Good pleasant surroundings and not too noisy Really enjoyable and very good value meal. Service from Nitin was quietly very professional and as we did go just after they first opened and perhaps once more I can’t wait to go back again.

We came down to visit our Son whose just come back from the Falklands, we went to the Gurka Inn and as soon as we walked in the staff were so attentive, we were served poppadoms and sauces, the food was of great quality! The flavours were amazing, really well priced too! Would definitely recommend!

I’m from London and I’ve had my fair share of curries and in all honesty this is the best I’ve had in a very long while !

We have recently eaten at the Gurkha Inn on a few occasions and I cannot agree with the negative comments which I think are harsh. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful and are quick to respond to any requests.The food is excellent and each dish taste different unlike some Indian restaurants which seem to use the same sauce for every dish,potions are generous,particularly the vegetable side dishes. I agree at times there can be a lack of atmosphere but that can apply from time to time to any restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant service. One of the items in our order got mixed up with another order but the manager dealt with the issue immediately and professionally. Food was spot and we would have no hesitation ordering again.

The best curry we have had in years!! We all chose Nepalese curries and were not disappointed at all. We have wanted to go to this restaurant for some time. The surroundings are amazing with atmospheric lighting, water wall and fish in the floor. The restaurant itself is large and even on a busy evening, you can't imagine feeling squished which is often a failing of other similar restaurants. Customer service was great and we were made to feel really welcome and would certainly return. Thank you Gurkha Inn. A very memorable family lunch out.

Update on this: I received a reply from via email. The owner got all of the facts wrong, and ran with it. He actually tried to make me believe that I ordered more dishes than I did. I lost interest in his excuses and stories to this is the last time I will update. I enjoyed eating at this restaurant but new management decided to charge to breathe in there apparently. We have been loyal customers for years and it is a sad ending. Note that I have now responded to the email address provided so will update if I get a response in return.

Oh my goodness… DELICIOUS!! My friend had Grandma’s Chicken Curry and I had the Darjeeling Ko Veda (Lamb). Both dishes were absolutely incredible. We were both stunned at the depth of flavour, the richness, and the freshness of the ingredients. Everything was presented beautifully too. The starters were also beautiful and we had Tarka Dal as a side which was the best I’ve ever had, again so rich and with such depth and complexity of flavour. The service was lovely too. We will definitely be coming back, it feels like a lot of care is put into the food here. Highly recommended!!!

Really excellent food- we came for the momos but got persuaded to have the cold lamb salad as well - stunning! Main course were first rate too - I tried some of the vindaloo - such a tasty dish and the heat was worth it. Going to have to come back again ASAP.

As a massive food dude, this place was one of the best. Chef specialities are highly recommended. Every year, our group goes here for our team dinner. Simply divine.

Luan, Shah and their wonderful team recently hosted my company's International Partners Dinner - a party of 44 guests. The food was quite exceptional, the service immaculate and the atmosphere just perfect. We can't fault the evening and will be booking our next Company gathering at the Gurkha Inn again. Great food and brilliant service. We came with 20+ of us when the restaurant already has a party of 30+ in and they delivered a superb level of service which made for a wonderful evening and smooth dining experience. We all ordered off the menu individual meals, both starters and mains and they delivered in a very timely manner. All our meals were as expected and super tasty. Would not hesitate in booking a big party again and massive congrats on delivering a brilliant night!

Having never visited Ghurkha Inn, we decided to give it ago as my brother in law was visiting from Australia. Looking through the window, there appeared to be several people eating, but once we went in, we found it virtually empty bar another young couple. Staff were friendly and asked us if we would like drinks, which we did. They also brough out complimentary poppadoms with relishes. We had a look at the menu. My brother in law asked for samosas for himself, and we all ordered mains. Maybe they misheard my brother in law but we were all presented with three samosa each, not what we ordered. We didn't want to be difficult so just ate them. The mains arrived but I have to say they were rather bland I really could not taste anything. A shame really and its a nice venue but lacked atmosphere as it was empty.

Cancelled our booking an hour before the meal as they have a “private booking”, never had this happened before, what a joke, basically no point in booking here

From the start I was greeted by a friendly young lady who quickly found me a table and sorted me a drink. She went above and beyond to make sure I got food that I would enjoy and would get an A* for customer service by anyone’s standards. I admit that I could not eat it all but it was so tasty and such a nice atmosphere. It was a fair price and they supplied take away bags with the food you couldn’t eat!!

This is by far the best Indian food I have eaten. And I’ve eaten a bloody lot of it! I don’t know how they do it but the sauce and rice is beyond anything I’ve tried before. Louanne is a great guy and looks after us From Aaron, Ewshot

Paneer and onion was perfect. sag paneer didn’t have enough spinach . Salmon tikka wasn’t the best I’ve had from you, didn’t feel like it was cooked in a proper clay oven or something wasn’t right with dish. Also didn’t come with mint Sauce. Sad because usually the tikka salmon is my fav

Had a takeaway. Kind of OK but not worth the prices vs others. Bhindi bhaji slimy which is sad, jalfrezi completely uninteresting but fine. Mushroom rice is good.

Food was cold, dry, not enough for the price, not mentioning the quality and timing. Would order again.

Have been a loyal customer to this business for a very long time - but their customer service is terrible and after the 3rd time of disappointing I’m never going to use them again. A shame as their food is great. Beware if you order online between mon-thurs and expect the promised 20% discount to be applied as it doesn’t. Waited over an hr and half last night for delivery. Was told when I called all deliveries were with the driver and I’d just have to wait. When it did finally arrive it was stone cold and dried out. Having spent 100s with this business and had to complain before about slow service you’d think they’d appreciate loyal customers and not do the same thing again!

Had a delivery that was pre-ordered at 3:30pm before they opened. I assumed that ordering that early I would be one of the first to order and therefore one of the first to receive the delivery. Delivery time should have been ASAP-5:45pm. At 6.15pm still no food so rang continuously for 25 minutes with no answer. Got in the car to go to the shop. Half way there the Ring doorbell went off so I had to tell the delivery driver to leave it at the door whilst we turned the car around and headed home. The receipt on the bag showed that it was ready at 17:42 so where was it for an hour??? Really really disappointed as previous deliveries have never been so bad. Continued to call so that I could complain but still no answer. Over £40 worth of food disappointing as the wait time spoilt the moment. Will continue to call as a partial refund is required.

Staying next door and fancied a mixed kebab with nan. I ordered the appetizer mixed kebab; 2 x seekh kebab, 3 x pieces of tandoori chicken & 3 x creamy chicken tikka, plus a garlic nan and a beer = 25 quid including service. The food was a solid 8/10.

came here for a birthday this evening and was amazed with the quality of the food. the nepalese chilli chicken starter and chicken momos were absolutely exceptional and the curries are incredibly tasty. we sampled quite a large part of the menu as a family, and everything we ate and tasted was delicious. not a single complaint. the portion sizes are huge as well and the service we received was perfect. we will definitely be visiting here again. thank you for a lovely evening :)

This is my new favourite restaurant in Fleet. The Nepali & Indian food is correctly spiced and tasty. Too many other restaurants under spice their food. Gurkha Inn get their spicy dishes actually spicy! It's the best place in Fleet.

Food was hot, tasty and arrived nice and quickly. Everything was managed efficiently, arrival to exit took just over an hour. Staff were extremely attentive and the whole family seemed to be pleased with the choice to come to this restaurant.

Fundamentally, the Timur curry with lamb I tried was a very unusual flavour. It's was very nice actually. Slightly naturally sweet like a korma but brown and no added sugar like many Kormas are faked. But. A curry. That has large pieces of lamb that are over cooked or under cooked however you want to take it. Was plain wrong. The meat was hard. I could never serve a curry with hard meat. I would cook it slowly for a long time or hard until meat was tender. Very very poor. The mushroom rice was nice. The Ghurka beer a must try. Very smooth. Staff were polite. I told two of them when they asked that the lamb was under cooked, both smiled and quickly exited. Lip service only. I was presented the beer with glass and bottle. Perhaps the young waiter was new. But I would have preferred it poured. Or at least that they asked if id like it poured. They had a very much feel of almost silver service especially how deferent the staff were. But think it was a bit of show really. The restaurant was very posh for a Indian restaurant. Ambiance was very nice. Thoroughly disappointed by the cooking of the curry.
