The sushi is so good any other place is horrible compared to this place and I loved the steak. The show that you can get is rlly fun and interactive

Food was ok, two ordered the chicken, one duck and one steak all with with Garlic butter. The garlic was so overpowering on all dishes and the chicken was cooked far too long. Two of us had the £62PP platter and upgraded to King Prawns to Larger Prawn for £5 each. I wouldn't say it was worth the upgrade. The chef doing the entertainment wasn't that great and lasted about 1 minute. Other tables had better chefs who were more entertaining Overall mediocre wouldn't return.

Love it here. Have been coming for years and it never ever disappoints. Food is always the best quality, chefs entertain too, fab wines and cocktails, but absolutely what sets it apart is the brilliant and lovely staff. Top marks to Juande who is ace 🤩

Great place, thd stuff are very friendly especially thd chefs who joke with you. There's about 15 people sat around each table with the chef in the middle cooking your food. Guessing there's about 10 tables overall. I had the early bird menu which was around £27 and included a drink, wine, beer or soft drink, a starter, I had vegetable tempura then came potatoe slices & mixed vegetables and then a choice of; steak, salmon, king prawns or vegetables with egg fried rice. There was plenty to eat, we were all full. My friends had the Samurai tasting menu @ £52 and got all of the above plus soup and dessert.

Luke and Juande were fabulous. We came to celebrate a family members birthday and we had so much fun. Great value for money and the staff even sang happy birthday for us. Brilliant!

The food was not tasty. The shrimp was over cooked with no flavour at all! Almost burned out. It was too loud. The service is really slow. The idea was nice but with that quality of food I am not going back there ever.

Great place for meeting with friends, the teppanyaki and sushi was amazing. Also the chefs put on quite a show!

It’s an experience, loved the service, seeing your food being cooked in front of you, and also participating in the throwing of the potatoes was fun.

The atmosphere was great and the service was amazing. We didn't have a booking and we were very welcome inside anyway despite being busy. Juande took care of us, at our table and he was always on the ball, gave us plenty of time to order and wasn't hovering around us. He made sure we felt confortable with our meal options and didn't impose with any orders or drinks. We had the Green dragon and Pink lotus cocktail, a beer and a cider and an orange juice. Then we choose the Emperor and Samurai tasting menus with a side of the Yakisoba Noodles. We had our daughter with us and after looking at the kids menu, she wasn't interested in a noddle dish just the noodles and veg ( under 8) or the option for older kids (15 years and younger) that had the chicken option. So we decided to go for the tasting menus and a side noddle dish so she could try all the other proteins in the menu. All was excellent apart from the fact the fish and meat were all in same plate which was a huge jump from the starters presentation to the mains. Personally I would rather have the proteins on a side plate as the juices got all mixed up and the steak, which was devine was spoiled with the fish flavours (despite they were all very well cooked and Juande told us, next time we could request for the fish and meats to come in a separate dish). For dessert we had Banana tempura and the Biscoff cheesecake, which to me was the cherry on top of a great meal all together. Is definitely a place I will go again. We paid the price for a well cooked meal and great ingredients.

Such a good experience, the service was amazing from all staff members and the food was very tasty! We love that the food was all cooked fresh and the show from the chefs was very entertaining! Can highly recommend to anyone thinking of going here for food!

Tasteless, lazy cooking. Especially the vegetarian dishes. £16 for a bland dish of vegetables and dry tofu.

Bland food, average taste for a pricey tag. Go somewhere else unless you want to regret spending £50 per head for worst tasting food than Itsu. All they seem to focus on is the presentation and show. One of the vegetarian options ordered looked like a vomit of vegetabls with no flavour.

Tried to book a table online but had to choose the 'Teryaki Experience' option (there was no other option) and pay £20 deposit. Only then did we find out that we might be sharing a large table with to to 20 people and would be expected to participate in the chefs' 'performance' where sauted potatoes are thrown into your mouth! This is not made clear before booking, and is not something that we wished to take part in. Booking cancelled. They didn't refund my deposit either. Bad form, Sapporo!

Absolutely brilliant dining experience! I was a bit nervous about taking my 2 year old but it was genuinely one of the most child friendly places we've ever eaten at! Juande was brilliant and made sure we all had everything we needed. The chef was amazing and the food was delicious. Definatly would recommend the early lunch to take littles it was so exciting!

Came a few weeks back now with the family for a birthday dinner. Not been for a few years but god knows why? This place is really good, the food, the service, the atmosphere, everything. Mainly the food. I had prawns my partner had the wagyu steak, all cooked to perfection & the sides are truly delicious!

This was probably one of the most amazing night out, the service was absolutely amazing, the food was a master class and the atmosphere was something most people can only dream of. All of this for a reasonable cost too, we will most definitely go back for meal again.

Firstly, we sat at the bar for twenty-five minutes without an acknowledgement When We sat down the first thing we were served was undercooked flat potatoes no seasoning i gave them back I ordered the land and sea , which was fifty pounds and the piece of cheap steak I got was 2x2inch SUPER SMALL WITH 3 SHRIMP ...a cup of rice and some veg .....ROTTEN ...ALL OVERCOOKED. The chicken they gave my son was just like jerky It was a birthday meal and it was 300 pound and honestly the worst quality and overly salty food WAY overpriced Small portions and I am so fuming that I chose that place for that experience Currently back at the house looking at uber eats ....still striving after being served food that wouldn't fill a mouse Absolutely shocking. No stars

Amazing experience! We loved the food and how entertaining it was to be served our meals! Our server, Juande, was very attentive and very sweet with my little girl and made our experience even better.

Absolutely delicious food cooked right in front of you. Great atmosphere with a traditional Japanese theme. Great options for both meat eaters and vegetarians (they cook vegetarian / vegan items before putting meat on the grill). Also, the chefs that cook in front of you like to do tricks for your entertainment. I would highly recommend it!

Went for a lovely meal just before Christmas, it's a funny, enjoyable experience with the food cooked right in front of you to amazing perfection. The chefs do have a bit of fun with the food, including everyone trying to catch potato chips in your mouth. We had one of the set menu's and I've developed a new love for lamb rump it was soft and moreish! We were on a table with a few children as we had an early meal, so I know they do a young eaters menu. The kids were mesmerized (as was I) by everything. Also we ended the evening with a cocktail and their Old Fashioned was much better than the one I had in the Alchemist

The food and entertainment here was very enjoyable, but can’t give it a 4 or 5 star as unfortunately I slept terribly after eating here…seems they add msg to their food as I had all the usual msg side effects and that kept me awake until 4am. I don’t drink caffeine anymore, but this felt like I’d had 2 double espresso’s…

Beautiful food! Wonderful staff! Great atmosphere. How have I only just come across this place. We were seved by the lovely Juande, he was so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't do enough for us. Didn't get the chefs name but wow he was phenomenal. The food is incredible and the staff are just on another level. We will definitely be coming back. We visited as a couple but want to bring the kids they will love this place. It's like a mini show whilst waiting for your food. The prices are really good too well worth the experience

Avoid the tasting menu! Got the emperor menu for 50-60 and literally all it is is chicken breast, sea bass, prawns, fried rice cooked in a teaspoon of soy sauce so it’s incredibly bland! Genuinely thought I was on a health kick rather than a very expensive restaurant. Won’t be returning.

This is a good restaurant, the food is very good. We went for a birthday treat for my Daughter the whole family enjoyed the meal. The fire shocked my Granddaughter (6 Year old), but other and the staff where great with her.

We went for our teams Christmas dinner. The food was amazing, simple, wholesome, and cooked beautifully in front of us. The service was good and we had an amazing time. Thank you, team Sapporo! 💙

teppanyaki is always a fun and visual experience but above all a taste experience. the products are excellent and very well prepared, the chef obviously gives you a show around your preparation. be wary of the menu however (for non-English speakers), the menus describe ALL of what you are going to eat and no different possible choices; 1 starter, 1 Miso soup, sautéed vegetables + 3 different meats, you will need a well-prepared stomach

Hemos estado aquí muchas veces, pero tristemente esta visita no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. El chef parecía que no podía ser molestado y el pollo estaba muy seco. La mayor parte quedó. Sin embargo, el personal del restaurante era encantador. Volvería otra vez, no muy seguro.

We came here as a big group and booked in advance. Happy from start to finish, the customer service was fantastic and atmosphere was amazing. The chefs are really funny and make the experience fun! The food is also really good, highly recommend the lamb rump with peppercorn sauce and calamari starter. The mocktails are really good too! The chicken and lamb is halal too.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Customers sit in square tables of 16 with the chef in the centre of each table the food is prepared before your eyes. The chef always has a few tricks up his sleeves, such as flicking fried potatoes into guests mouths and a few fire tricks with oil. Atmosphere great, price decent and staff friendly We are vegan and there was a decent vegan selection for us to have.
