Sticks'N'Sushi Covent Garden

St James's, City of London,Westminster
07/12/2020: We had an amazing time, and Lenka made sure the dishes were tip top!! Josh made beautiful drinks as we were sat at the bar. All in all a beautiful experience!!
12/11/2020: Had many Thai meals but our visit to sticks n sushi took our Thai dining experience to a new high. The menu was enticing and exciting and no dish disappointed. The staff were very attentive and informative and the atmosphere greatIt was expensive but this is dining to a fantastic standard

Park's Kitchen

Walpole, Ealing
01/10/2020: I've been here many times both eat-in and takeaway, delicious bibimbap and related dishes. It's not a full blown family style Korean restaurant, the menu is limited but excellent.
13/09/2020: i have been here 3 times and every time is lovely and fresh and like the korean beer and soju drink too. bibimbap is great! the starters also fantastic and service and everything si fantastic . well done team

West End, City of London,Westminster
06/12/2020: Brilliant food, service, taste and everything - I really can't wait to try this restaurant again SOON! I am a big foodie, and everything was tasty and left me wanting to try more. I loved the service too. I was surprised at the quality of the food as it feels a little mis-matched from the location, but this also makes me love it even more. Its a lovely surprise and I have recommended three-fold to others. I look forward to trying one of the other branches too. Hats off to the chef and to the servers. Keep doing what you're doing :)
03/11/2020: One of my favourite restaurants in London for either business or pleasure. The staff are wonderful, always remember their regular customers and available to offer suggestions or assistance. Very good spot for a business lunch or dinner with friends. Can recommend the Kara-age chicken, all the speciality rolls, the marinated salmon and the uramaki.

Holborn and Covent Garden, Camden, 45-60£
16/12/2020: Amazing, authentic Japanese okonomi-yaki (お好み焼き店 - I think I spelt that correctly), the staff are either Japanese, or speak Japanese fluently - it is not one of your usual, London, Japanese places that are staffed by non-Japanese and pretend to be Japanese - this is the real thing! Everyone is great, the food is to die for, the Juzushu is the amber nectar, it is a joy to get tipsy on. If you want to experience Japanese hospitality in London, this is the place to come to. Amazing, there are not any words I can use to describe the experience. If you live in London and want a Japanese meal, this is the place to eat.
07/12/2020: Tables by the frying plates and the chefs cook your meal right in front of you it’s a fun experience eating here. The food was delicious and looks amazing. The tofu dish was surprisingly flavour with agedashi base sauce.

Sushi Tetsu

Clerkenwell, Islington
25/11/2020: Absolutely brill resturant! Be back soon when visiting next. Writing this we are already missing the quality of the food
01/11/2020: There is not a great deal to say about this place that has not already been said. I have not been to Japan yet but it is, equal with a couple of other (more expensive) places the best sushi I have had to date. Getting a reservation was a real battle and took hours of phone calls over many months. Takahashi-san and his wife were superb hosts and the food was basically flawless. Lots of thought went into every little thing.

Oka Sushi & Udon

Canbury, Kingston upon Thames
05/12/2020: Delicious food. Particular highlights were: agedashi tofu, takoyaki and yakitori. Would go again. Prices for some of the sushi perhaps a tiny bit steep..
06/11/2020: The owner really cares about the health and safety of their customers and staff and run the restaurant with a high standard. Delicious and safe! Thank you!!

Mai Sushi

St Pancras and Somers Town, Camden, 20-30£

Neighbourhood Cafe Yukari

Kew, Richmond upon Thames
22/11/2020: Lovely little cafe/restaurant with a few CLEAN tables outside to sit and take in the glorious winter sunshine. Staff incredibly friendly. We only had tea and cake but will be coming back post lockdown to try the evening menu. Came across Yukari by accident when out for a long Sunday walk and it made our day to have found it.
12/10/2020: Found this cafe purely by accident. The other side of the railway ( where the Botanic Gardens are ) was very busy on a sunny Autumn Sunday, but cross over the bridge and it's a different world.Location is on a corner that gets the afternoon sunshine. Tables both inside and out with lots of space in between. Good for hot drinks and a very limited selection of croissant, pain au chocolat or scone to go with them. But it is Japanese owned and they do a small menu of cooked to orderJapanese food. While I was in there, someone came in to order and he was obviously a regular. A couple of local Kew ladies as well as two Japanese ladies also came in for coffee.Overall a calm little cafe and a very pleasant pitstop for an hour.

Restaurant Flat Three

Norland, Kensington and Chelsea
31/10/2020: We went for dinner last night and tried the tasting menu. None of the dishes were outstanding and I felt that they were all quite samey in the flavours. I was vegan for 10 years and felt that the vegan offerings were not satisfying compared to other restaurants. I left feeling hungry and annoyed for having spent so much on a disappointing meal. Service felt curt. Shame as we are local.
17/10/2020: I went here with my husband and cannot fault it. From the food, to the service it was everything you would want. The server was so attentive and let me know which dishes were gluten free (which was everything but two!) and the food itself was absolutely delicious.

St James's, City of London,Westminster
09/12/2020: So hospitable and friendly. Food amazing - fresh, delicious and plenty of choice. Walk past at your peril... more than worth a visit. We will be back!

Earl's Court, Kensington and Chelsea, 30-45£
27/10/2020: Went as a family. Lovely service, great food, lots of veggie options, sake. Informal and diners were well spread out. Seemed to be doing lots of deliveries too. Good for them. Go and support!

Brompton, Kensington and Chelsea
19/12/2020: Perfect! Delicious food. Amazing ramen (so tasty and huge portion). The nigiri and sashimi were fresh and so good. Definitely recommend it. The service was fast and the stuff friendly.
04/12/2020: Dozo has never disappointed me. I’ve been living in London for 5 years now & honestly I can’t get over the volcano it’s so delicious I highly recommend to try the volcano/rainbow & the beef ramen is amazing too

West End, City of London,Westminster
14/12/2020: Very creatives dishes and incredible hida beef. One of the best Japanese in London. Would recommend and return without hesitation
08/12/2020: I have taken family members here many times in the past however this year they have hired the Rudest Maitre’D offering terrible service and was an arrogant man. Unfriendly reception, Raised his voice saying we close at 9 when we asked if we could have a walk in table as the place was empty at 8:30. So we came back earlier the next day and were received by the same rude man with a Eastern European accent and when we asked if we could sit at a certain table which was empty (the whole place was empty) he said we couldn’t and then said WE REFUSE TO SERVE YOU. Unbelievably rude to a long term customer bringing his girlfriend here to show off London. How this man still works for you I do not know??To the owner: why is this man still working for you? I can clearly see others have reviewed with the same commentary on this man.Appreciate your response.

18/12/2020: My friends and I came for dinner on the 10th of December and we had a lovely time dining in the 39th floor the food was good and the ambiance too! We were served by Manuel who was very friendly and professional! We ended up eating everything he recommended and enjoyed it!
17/12/2020: 15th of December, just the end of a lunch time...I was trying to get a table... Oh no! We have a place for you... Just come to the bar... said a waitress. Downstairs... trying to execute the invitation...Whatever they said upstairs doesn't count! said the bouncer...Move out, I have people coming. After some phone calls and freezing outside we where upstairs - no apologies...No view, place at the bar but convenient. A bit slow but nice service...What a surprise when a manager came to the "table" and said that I have to go home... as some other guests are coming and that the limit per person is something over the hour... Unbelievable! The bill already was around 200 pounds... and I was waiting for my (very important) guest... By the way - I was promised a "normal" table but received one (very small) in the waiting area...My VIP friend has arrived and than one more surprise... they need this table... right now!We had no choice

St James's, City of London,Westminster
08/11/2020: The food was delicious, and the service was great. They have good measures in place to keep guests and staff safely like the presence of sanitising station, glass/plastic barriers between tables, and limiting the number of crowds inside.
