Delicious quality food. Sashimi is always so fresh. Had tempura udon and the broth was spot on.

Amazing! Relaxing with beautiful Japanese music. Really enjoyed it. Food is tasty and delicious. Good potions. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

My favourite Japanese restaurant in north London it’s just such a little hidden gem in this part of the town. Love their eel bento box and katsu curry. Complementary Japanese tea always makes me feel very welcoming ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Ordered via Uber eats and nevvaaa again. Katsu was very standard and there WAS HAIR in my chicken yakotori skewers. I bit into them and it tasted disgusting and I spat out the chicken and found the hair wrapped round almost the whole skewer

Went here and had gyu don and edamame. Was the only one there for lunch and was dead silent.. so could hear the microwave go which wasn't a great first sign... Food was edible and filled me up but being Japanese, I can say with confidence that the reviews that say the food is authentic are not true. There wasn't much beef in the gyu don, the rice was in parts stale as some bits were hard and got stuck in my teeth.. was quite expensive for what it was. Whole restaurant felt a bit half hearted, sorry.

Pictures shows how much of my food was left over. Ramen was drastically flavourless, noodles soggy and it won’t cheap either. Staff not friendly didn’t even ask why I didn’t touch my food. I left after 5 mins, it hurt me to pay full price and service charge too. I guess there is reason why it’s never busy. I can’t believe the 5 star reviews are real.

Delish & authentic Japanese food. Lovely quiet spot, great value for money and friendly service. Highly recommend the agedashi tofu, takoyaki and mackerel! Can't wait come back and try the rest of the menu 😄 thank you for a delicious lunch!

Ordered via Uber eats and unfortunately never had such poorly portioned sushi in my life. Tasted like rice and sauce due to stingy fish portion. See pics I've uploaded. Prices seemed reasonable but again due to portioning actually a rip off. Won't be ordering from here again.

Excellent food, especially the chicken ramen.

I love this place. If you want authentic Japanese cuisine, look no further. I’ve dined in once (I definitely will be again), and I order takeaway often. The food is incredible (my favourites are the croquette curry and the ramen vegetable soup. The green tea is unlike any other!!) The servers are very kind and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely and cosy in the restaurant. You don’t have to wait long for the food at all, and it’s of an incredibly high standard with fresh ingredients. Delivery is always super speedy, and I definitely rely on this place after work / if I’m just craving Japanese food :) Cannot speak more highly of this place!

Very tasty chicken katsu curry, beautifully presented despite it being takeaway. Two points to flag, the skin on the chicken kept coming off, might be nice to remove it or cook it differently before putting it in the batter (not sure what the solution is). The second is if they can add a little bit more sauce, it was so delicious but not enough for the whole rice. First time trying this place and will definitely order again and try their other dishes.

Absolutely amazing: very fresh and rice well seasoned Agadashi tofu - was excellent...first fry; medium firmness tofu; good flavour profile of sweet/tangy 9/10 Mixed Tempura - first fry; light tempura batter; well seasoned tempura sauce; good mix of vegetables and prawns 9/10 Inside out salmon crunch roll - MUST TRY great presentation; excellent quality salmon and very fresh avocado; perfectly toasted nori; rice perfectly cooked and seasoned; fresh crispy toasted onions; good sauces...the California crunch is also excellent. 10/10 House salad - nice presentation, abundant fresh avocado 9/10 Sashimi set - fresh 8/10 fresh salmon and tuna, nice miso soup, rice was well cooked, mackerel cut slightly imperfect dragging score down but a 10/10 for price point Ambiance: Relaxed Cafe vibe they have done something lovely with the Small space Clever ambiance given the small space Clean Finish is rough around the edges but quaint Staff: Lovely friendly staff, good level of service Excited to try the takeaway menu

Not bad at all. The Nori around the maki rolls could be crisper. Also no beer on the menu. Tako-yaki and korroke were tasty.

Amazing food! You can taste great quality and talented chiefs skills. Good vegetarian alternatives. Highly recommend if you have not tried yet. Since we tried last week we went back already three times. Crunchy rolls are super tasty!

Salmon set gave me fishy salmon nigiri that just had to go in the bin. I hope we don't get sick for trying one! Salmon avocado roll had springy Salmon. Great. Prawn crunch had way too much sauce and no interest in visual appeal. Yes come here for low quality sushi! Never again. I write this so I can remember not to come here again! You get what you pay for!

Sadly disastrous. Half their menu only appears on Uber Eats, but they have no option for delivery. Only 1 person answers the phones and doesn't understand any English. Very disappointing.

A small secluded restaurant in High Barnet. Quite hidden so I wish more people visited. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The menu had a good selection of fresh food. All with affordable prices. Service was quite quick. Everything was clean and presentable. Meal tasted amazing. Large portions and for value for money. I had a a soup and the broth was very rich. Would definitely recommend going here and I will visit myself again!

Beautiful food and generous portion. Will definitely go back for more. We ordered Vegetable goods and Vegetable tempura as starters and Grilled Mekeral bento box and chilly chicken with rice. We had Japanese green tea ro share. The total bill was £35 including service charge which is very reasonable.

Really good salmon avacado and spicy tuna sushi, very reasonable prices too, I'll be making this my regular!

A had delivery, I didn't like Tempura at all to be onest but the rest was lovely!! I took chicken katsu, California crunch roll and tuna roll! Everything was pack very well and the time of delivery was perfect! Thank you!

I love this place, everything they do is done perfectly. The Sashimi/Sushi is exact and fresh. It’s when you dive a bit a deeper and have the Aubergine miso, chicken wings, seaweed salad, the list goes on. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. Small but perfect 👌

Sadly...not great... was my birthday....got takeaway lunch with family... food delivered cold... teriyaki beef was served in large hard chunks could not slice with meat knife or chew and went in bin.... tempura vegetables had weird hard uneven crust/butter also hard in place and went in bin except sweet potato which had no butter on it...very sad as trusted general good reviews...😒

It was alright I guess. Ordered off Deliveroo but I don’t think a restaurant like that is suited for Deliveroo. Chicken katsu curry was tasty although it could’ve been a bit more warm. However, the beef teriyaki didn’t taste like teriyaki and the beef was incredibly tough. And also, the vegetable yaki udon was stuffed with peppers and not really any other vegetables. Probably won’t go here again.

I've ordered Tempura Soba, which is Soba noodle in hot soup. The soup is just a dark miso with very well cookedand soft soba noodles, no vegetables. 7 pieces of tempura (2 prawns, 5 veggies) come in a separate box. Give it 3 stars as I think £12 is quite a lot of money for what it is.

Love Yokoso - so much fresher than Waitrose, and tastier too. We need more restaurants like this in High Barnet. Great food. Great taste. Good value too.

One of the last places we went to as a family before lockdown. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Great use of George's old place. The food was very nice, not necessarily something to write home about, but Japanese cuisine can be quite difficult to make outstanding, certainly considering the crowd these guys are aiming for. Well worth a visit though, when things are back online.

Been to this wonderful place a handful of times and I must say they do not disappoint. The warm and polite service accompanied with the homely feel the interior gives off is perfect. The food always comes swiftly and never disappoints, I’ve almost tried the entire menu and I must say everything is DELICIOUS!

Just had a meal at this little gem of a restaurant! What a little find. The food was delish, the service was very good and and the food came quickly which was perfect whilst eating with our two sons. The Sushi was perfect and the tempura prawns were to die for! The only thing to note is they can't sell alcohol, and we forgot to ask if you could bring your own, but having said that the green tea was lovely.

Lovely authentic Japanese restaurant, serving generous portions and super tasty dishes. The staff was also very attentive and welcoming. Loved the decor and the cosy ambient. The tables were separated by dividers, which I hope are a permanent feature as it made the whole dining experience very private and overall special. Highly recommended.

Easily one of the best dining experiences in Barnet. Forget how friendly the staff are, the food is so mouth-wateringly good, I can't help but over-order. I definitely have an addiction and look forward to working my way through their menu.

Quick and polite service , nice little cosy restaurant but food wasn’t great. Ramen had no marinated eggs but just hard boiled eggs , mean was simply deep fried chicken . No sign of chilli , also not much Veg in it . Broth was ok but nothing special . Goyza dumplings was from prepacked frozen bought of Asda or similar type . Don’t expect authentic or even near authentic Japanese food here

I have a Business in the high street and had to try this new place out. I was shocked with the quality of the food from such a quaint restaurant and I when purely on my clients recommendations! Was amazed by the Chicken Ramen soup and various other dishes. I dont like sushi but when everything else is this good who cares? Service was also great and they are needing a boost in this terrible economy so please give them a try.

Nice little Japanese restaurant in High Barnet. Service is very friendly and spot on. Food was yummi and authentic. Tried the veg gyoza and veg ramen noudlw soup. The green tea comes with fresh leaves instead of the usual tea bag. They have a good visible hygiene concept in place, my favourite was the the "see through" visor wron by the staff. We also got a ice cream dessert on the house. Overall a nice experience hence I am happy to give them my full recommendation.

Very tasty food but could be warmer as we are just around the corner. Was a mix up with order not being received at first but this was confusion with online system run by Just Eat not fault of restaurant.

Katsu was nice and crispy. Sushi was tasty. Delivery super fast. Nothing to fault.

Delicious sushi, especially the Salmon Crunch. Cheaper if you order in store not on Just Eat. Only slight feedback would be the rice in the maki could have been softer / more cooked (the inside out rolls and Salmon Crunch were fine). Overall it was a good meal.

I don't understand the 5 star reviews. If you have sushi from anywhere else the difference is immediately noticeable. They really need to change the rice they use as it did not taste like sushi rice at all more like normal rice you get from Iceland. It was undercooked and not sticky no taste to it. Potion size for the order was good however the lack of eel fish was very disappointing and the cut of the rolls very poor, size difference thin here large there. It's like no care given. Sushi is an art which takes years of training to master and why it is so good and loved. There was no love in our order, just slapped together. Very very disappointing. I would recommend going to Waitrose to get sushi or branch out to ai sushi or even sushi mania for a better eating experience. So dissatisfied and disappointed.

Ordered a chicken katsu and gyoza from here - was so impressed with the speedy delivery and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything was piping hot and packaged very well. Will definitely be ordering from them again!
