Excellent service, we went with the all you can eat. It’s definitely worth the price of 28£ odd. Food is constantly being brought to you. The sushi is incredible. I’ve never left the place and thought I could possibly eat more. The sashimi is the real highlight. Staff are great and friendly

Came around lunchtime the staff were very attentive and they efficient. We came around lunchtime and the atmosphere was quieter and peaceful. The food as always was so so fresh and packed with delicious flavours I can’t wait to return!!

We love the food and service so much! We have a lunch with “all you can eat” menu. And we found that the food is absolutely amazing! I love the sushi especially the sea bass and the shrimp one! And the sashimi and tempura are brilliant!!! Must Try the shrimp tempura!! Also the seaweed salad as well. Crispy and fresh. Of course the deep fried food such as the pork chop. See the photos and a very good Japanese food in London. Don’t compare with the one in supermarket because this one is real!! We enjoy so much and the staffs are very nice!

My favourite restaurant. I have been here many times over the last 10-15 years and it’s still as good as ever. The prices are amazing for the quality. The buffet is so worth it!! I don’t think I’ll ever stop wanting to eat here. Plenty of amazing vegan options! The best Nasu Dengaku I have ever had (and I’ve tried a lot).

I used All you can eat for lunch. The sashimi salmon and tuna are fresh. I had sushi mainly with salmon, and all of them were delicious. The shrimp tempura is also recommended for its crispy shrimp. Yaki udon and ramen are quite different from Japanese ones, so I don't really recommend them to Japanese people. I went right when the store opened, so there weren't too many people and the service was quick. I think this is a good restaurant when you want to eat a lot of sashimi and sushi. Whether or not a child is charged is determined by height, but I am a little disappointed that my 8-year-old son, who is 120cm tall, was charged an adult price.

Certainly a sushi place worth the visit. Quite often busy, so book your table to be sure. Now several visits in, and tried something new every time, and everything's been great. I highly recommend their AI sushi set and ramen.

Very limited all you can eat choice. They do not offer it if you are alone, unless you pay extra (equivalent to 1 1/2 times). A reason was not given. Sushi was ok, but not worth a detour

Lovely sushi place- good atmosphere (with some floor seating and normal table seating), excellent service (orders for the buffet were taken efficiently and food arrived quickly), and the quality of the sushi was great. Price was decent too! Would recommend!

Best sushi ever! The staff is so friendly.

Everything was a disaster. I went at 6 p.m. and waited for my order until 8 p.m. I was seated at a random table with my two children, one of them a baby. They still hadn’t brought the main course after 32 minutes. I will never, ever go to this place again. I was literally left hungry. That elderly waitress was a complete disaster. She shouldn’t be working there. They ruined our family evening. In the end, we left the restaurant hungry. No one should go there!!!!!!

Love the food! It was fresh and quick. The staff were friendly, smiley, and professional (a combination hard to find in London!). We opted for the buffet and it did not disappoint. I would say it was a little overpriced, but not complaining as the quality of the food was exceptional. Definitely recommend it.

Good Japanese food at very very modest prices with very attentive staff. Always my go to for Japanese food. And when I'm particularly ravenous, the all you can eat buffet is incredible for the price.

Awful place to dine , the staff are clueless and not well trained. The food was not well served and late. Never again absolute waste of money.

Love this place. Firm family favourite - we've been coming for more than 10 years. The buffet is tremendous value if you love sushi. Lots of options for those who aren't keen on raw fish such as edemame, gyoza, fried tofu, fish katsu and cucumber maki But if you like sushi then even better.... Salmon nigiri, tuna sashimi and salmon skin (hand roll) are all delicious.

Let me tell you something about this hidden gem in North Finchley , no matter how you much you will try to find a better sushi restaurant from zone 1 till zone 5 in London , you will not succeed, I've been there at least 12 times before writing this review, never had any issue with the food , the staff is always very polite and helpful even when they are really busy and you haven't booked , I'm sorry I don't live near by otherwise I would be eating there every single week!!I definitely recommend and definitely will be back !

After hearing good reviews from friends, six of us excitedly visited Ai Sushi on a Friday evening to celebrate a birthday! The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and wasn’t too crowded, which made it even better. We chose the all-you-can-eat menu, and I must say, the service was lightning fast, with the staff being incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delightful! We particularly loved the complimentary starter board of signature tiger rolls, it was a real treat! Thank you. The salmon sashimi was another standout and simply melted in our mouths. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.

I ordered home delivery two weeks ago, my order was rejected because the restaurant had no delivery person to do my order but my card was charged. The manager told that they hadn't get my money at all and transaction was pending by my card company and would then refunded back. Reckless and lied, 2 weeks passed , sent an email to them but no reply, I had to contact my bank to dispute and claim my money back. Cheating and horrible management.

Had a lovely meal. The all you can eat buffet is so good. Only improvement, coming from a nigiri lover, would be to alter the menu in order to allow to order more nigiri at one time, as currently you can only get 2 pieces per round. Staff very attentive and the variety of the menu both cold/hot it's very impressive. One of the best all you can eat restaurants in London.

Me and my wife are visiting there since 2022. We love to go there all the food is perfect, service is brilliant. I have to tell who is looking for nice and clean family place, you can go clearly. One things can improve by owner, keep the staff same for example, sushi chef please bring the male sushi chef back, he was doing perfectly. Thanks

The staff are friendly and attentive. I enjoyed nice thick sashimi and tried crispy chicken maki (which was delicious). After plenty of starters, we split a very generous bento box, and the teriyaki was tasty. As every time before, a pleasurable dining experience.

Great food rubbish service spent an hour and a half waiting on two rounds of sushi for all you can eat I left hungry still and disappointed will not be going back a waste of money and time.

When my daughter moved to London a few years ago she found this place, introduced me to it and been going ever since. The quality of the food is superb. Last night I took a friend, she googled it first and said “blimey it says it’s best place in London for sushi”! In my opinion that’s a perfect description, but I’m not a sushi expert by any means all I know is I love going there, enjoy it every time and always look forward to the next time!

Saturday, March 16th 2024 A mini informal lunch organised by SUKA (Singaporeans UK Association), London. The All You Can Eat buffet is great value for money and being vetted by a Japanese SUKA member, present for lunch as very authentically Japanese is a testimony of the food itself. The buffet choice was extensive and immense. Fresh sashimi, handmade sushi to order with the hot food being served thereafter or depending on what you have ordered from the a la carte menu. I simply doubt you can find anything better in London for the price and quality. I have never been disappointed on every visit to indulge with hot sake too. A great place to socialise with family and friends whilst sharing delish food. Everyone was very full and we struggled to make it to the fourth round. There are two types of seating arrangements, the Western and traditional Japanese. This lovely gem is simply too good not to be shared. It's best to book in advance as the venue gets busy. Amy, our contact was very accommodating in many ways and made us feel very welcome too. Some travelled and drove far for this event but everyone walked out with big smiles on our faces and rubbed our happy tummies. A definite place to visit and revisit.

The sushi really tastes good here. The service is however a bit slow. Expect to pay £20 if you want to be full from what you eat.

Very lovely place. Was pleasantly surprised how good the quality of the food was and we ended up ordering so many dishes. Would definitely return. The speciality roll sets were all great and the food presentation was immaculate.

Local, amazing local teriyaki chicken and goood sushi salamon skins worth trying

Top sushi place, love the all you can eat menu. As of writing it’s £29 per head and you can order ample hot and cold options, great value. The quality of the food is also good for the price. I hate when restaurants use crab sticks in California rolls, so that is one small downside for me, though you have so many other nice dishes it’s not a massive deal. Service can also be a bit slow when it’s busy, but the staff are accommodating so you can always stop them if you feel you’re waiting too long. The atmosphere is nice, so families where we were, some groups of friends, other people on dates. Will definitely go back.

Have been coming here for the past 7 years. The Sushi and hot food is always delicious and fresh. The staff are attentive and friendly. This is definitely my favourite Japanese restaurant.

Mayvis and team were amazing – so funny and organised and hospitable. We had a big group of 10 doing the all you can eat and they could have been very overwhelming and stressful, but she was fantastic at making sure all orders went smoothly with good humour and care. The food as lovely and well portioned with great quality fish for fair prices. The space was relaxed and lovely. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you.

Aisushi disappoints with its untrained waitress, exhibiting rude service and a lack of manners. The repeated instances of forgetting our order further diminish the overall experience. Despite the mediocre food, the consistently poor service significantly lowers the establishment's appeal. Unfortunately, the lack of attention and professionalism makes it unlikely for me to revisit Aisushi in the future.

My favourite sushi place and I am around an hour out of London. Despite it being a little pricey this is an amazing restaurant. Food is sublime, very good quality fish and beautifully presented. But the staff are amazing. The restaurant closes at 3 but because of traffic we were there at 2:45. Still they kept the restaurant open until 3:30 so we could finish the all you can eat sushi. They were also very fast, huge platter of sushi in less than 5 minutes despite a packed restaurant. 10/10 would highly recommend

All you can eat service was verrrryyyyy slow. By the time the hot food came, the rice was cold. Sushi took 45 min to get to the table.

Service laisse à désirer. Erreurs dans les commandes. Pas de sauce pour les sushis. Note arrondie au supérieur à la demande du serveur.. dommage!

Lovely restaurant and food. Just took 1-star out as they've massively increased their buffet prices in the past year. I reckon I paid less than £20 last year and when we went 2 weeks ago, it went up to almost £26 which is a lot considering the service is extremely slow and the food is good but also not "the best in town" I'd say (and quality hasn't improved from the price change!). But still a good option if you know what you're paying for 😊

Lovely food but whenever I order a takeaway they are always an hour late

I came here to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Disappointed with the quality of food. We had a buffet, the battered calamari is rubbery, beef skewer some portion was rubbery the handmade crispy duck /prawn sushi covered with outer seaweed is also the sea weed was rubbery. The worse was one of staff said to us you wasted the food we will charge you that.Other diners are looking on us.She also said with the 3rd set of our menu order are you sure you still want to have them? Because we don't like to spoil our night we just said okay just cancel it. We only agreed to have a small portion of the sea food udon which which was not tasty. Very poor customer service. We spend over a hundred for three of us it's not worth.

The best Sushi I have had and I can guarantee it's the best in London. A very authentic restaurant that never lets me down.

Must admit I love ramen and this establishment serve the BEST ramen hands down. So flavorsome and neat which is perfect for my palet. I drank all the soup, that shows how good it was. My friend had the udon, he also approves saying it's tasty and full of Wok flavor. Can't wait to go back. Also the crispy tempura prawns delicious

The ramen here is to die for, I've been on a search for good ramen for years, and this place takes the cake. Very cosy inside, perfect for a date.

This is the worst restaurant in the world…. …for making me spend my money! Some weeks I’m eating here 4/5 times. The staff are lovely, everything is great, just a shame on some days it’s so popular I can’t just stuff my face! Can’t say enough how happy I am I found this restaurant.

"All you can eat" within 90min. Not worth the money as service is slow and you will end up with 3-4 dishes. Without exaggeration, you will end up hungry after leaving. In the photos is everything we got for 2 people and end up paying around £80 including water and tea (no fizzy or alcoholic drinks order or dessert) Quality wise-one of the best I tried but I don't think I would opt for buffet next time.

Although I'm not particularly fond of sushi or Asian cuisine, my partner's preference led me to visit this restaurant. It turns out that their sushi offerings are quite exceptional. However, I found the beef teriyaki and fried rice to be somewhat underwhelming. In general, this establishment presents itself as a commendable Japanese restaurant, offering a pleasant ambiance and good service.

Always a great vibe here. Today the restaurant was busy but the service remained outstanding. Still the best all you can eat in north london.

Fresh food, good service, nice staff

Lovely food, but they brought it all together, starter and main, so I send back the main, to keep it warm, on its return it was cold. Sent it back and they made another, which was fine. The king prawns are massive and lovely.

Getting a table for 2 at Friday lunch time was easy, the restaurant wasn't very busy but even if it was there are quite a few tables. We ordered from their buffet menu (available Fri-Sun) which was around £26 per person and has both sushi and hot foods available. It's good for those who want to eat a bit of everything as you can order 4 dishes at a time from both the sushi and hot menu, and you can only order more once you've finished to avoid food waste. The hot food we ordered was delicious, especially the prawn tempura and beef yakitori skewers, and the sushi was very fresh. Would definitely come again to try the other things on their menu! Also the staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu/ordering process.

Lovely atmosphere with comfortable seating. Service was great, we went for the all you can eat deal and the lady serving us was really helpful, making sure we understood how it worked and that we got our food as quickly as possible. The food itself was also delicious and there was a huge range to choose from.

Nice little place. Food is lovely, huge selection of choices. Absolutely loved the sushi menue. I would recommend and I would go back again. Only downfall is that service is slow, quick to recieve food but slow to wait to order or clear the table. Place is busy so there is some sort of exception

Amazing So full and the staff were so sweet even though it was packed out with a tone of online delivery orders. Wait for hot food and cold wasn't to long. Much better than the last visit. Very happy and will be returning.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could the quality and quantity to price ratio is out of control, and the staff are attentive and polite as you could want. We drive from the other end of London to come back here (used to live more locally) and it's always worth it. Buy the beers and Sake and help keep this place open forever, people.

Good food, loved the floor tables for a true authentic experience

Delicious as always but this time they added wasabi just between two sushi rolls. The rolls were just completely covered with wasabi and I had to throw them away.

Awful service. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Came as a family but pretty much got kicked out saying our time was up but the service was so slow and poor we barley got to round 3. The staff told us some food was delayed as the kitchen was so busy. Very disappointed is understatement. Wouldn't even give it the star if I wasn't forced too

Most of the food was ok but service was unfriendly even aggressive. I invited my family to ai sushi but all of them were upset cause of service. My family never come again.

Came here because it was highly recommended but it was a big disappointment. I were told the service was great however I was let down big time. I understand it was 90min seating time but the service was so slow we got our round every 30-40mins. The last round we had to call over the staff to collect our order even though it was left for 20mins in the stand. I'm actually really DISAPPOINTED

One of the waiter keeps giving us horrible service. We went in for the all you can eat menu. That waiter just gave us the look and crazy eye whenever we order our 4 items that's allowed even when we finish all of the items on the table. Will the rules they set out, there is no way you can order a lot of food(I can fully understand, not complaining on that). But the way that waiter treated us is just unacceptable. If you don't like people ordering food you can stop the all you can eat menu. That horrible waiter treat other normal meun just fine. Is just targeting the all you can eat.

food is weirdly tasteless even if someone would sprinkle some garlic flakes would drive a better flavor. Please fix your recipes to get better flavor. And stop putting fish in the open it's too pungent.
