Worst vegetable tempura ever: soggy and dripping in oil (so clearly not fried at the right temperature). Same goes for the avocado fries: mushy and horrible. The teriyaki tofu portion was tiny and the tofu slices broken and not tasting of teriyaki at all; it was just broken thin slices of raw tofu! My husband ordered 2 tuna sashimi and 1 salmon sashimi and instead he received 2 salmon and only 1 tuna (tuna is more expensive than salmon so he lost money there as well; probably better this way though, as the tuna was kind of greyish, not a good look at all). I have no idea how this restaurant has such a high rating (4.8 starts out of 5 on Deliveroo) but it's a 2 stars from us (just because my husband’s salmon sashimi and my wakame salad were good) but the rest was appalling and we definitely won't be ordering again. And the whole reason why we ordered from Sushi Haven for the first time was because the Deliveroo app was showing a 20% discount, but we only realised after placing the order that there was a cap and the max discount was £5 - which I've not seen before and is pretty sneaky from their part - so, after waiting a whopping 63 minutes to receive this order rather than the usual half an hour max all other restaurants offer in our radius , we only got £5 off. Sorry but really not impressed!

Good sushi at a reasonable price!

First order through Deliveroo was good but the second one was really bad. I called the restaurant to ask where was my order as there wasn't any update of the delivery time in the app. Someone rude asked the phone telling me: sorry, we don't have drivers available, so why did they accept the order??? Terrible delivery times, terrible service and for a change, the food was tasteless. Fortunately, Deliveroo customer service was attentive and helpful and made me a refund of the delivery and the service fees. I won't order from this restaurant anymore!

🍣 This place is a gem with a delightful variety of sushi options and an amazing teriyaki noodle dish. The staff is not only friendly but also very helpful in navigating the menu. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a sushi feast.

Interesting fusion food that was freshly made upon order. The main staff working there were friendly and patient, although they seemed busy and stressed out. It was unfortunate that we were there for the first time and we weren't sure about the procedure of the ordering and the way about to order certain dishes, and was attended by a new trainee staff who was overwhelmed with taking our order. There was a lot of repeating of the order, mistakes, frustration and confusion between myself and her. Even though she had her manager attend to us twice, the dish that arrived was still completely wrong. The manager and chef were obviously trying to be patient with the mess of the procedure of our order and the outcome. But they were apologetic and did what they could to soothe the situation. Even though I've mentioned the frustration that we faced, I am not going to condemn the place for the actions of a trainee staff. The food was good and prices were reasonable. The place had obviously undergone a refurbishment because the pictures shown on google seem to be pictures before renovations.

It could have been great .. in between a take away place and a restaurant. Deliveroo guys keeps coming in , cold inside as doors almost always opened, menu same as take away. However prices , and food remains unique value for money and delicious. Was just hoping for a more restaurant version (with different dishes a cosy atmosphere)of one of the best success story in the kosher food area.

Today I order my plater by deliveroo-its looks horrible. The prices are not full all plater looks messy. I spend 50£ on it. This plater must be a gift. When i call to the shop to let the know how its look plater-they complete didn't done nothing about. They say that delivery driver messed up and this is not them responsibility. Very poor customer service been present during conversation. I been going last 8 years to the shop in the Golders green and never I NEVER have my sushi look this bad. Its really sad that coustemer in delivery are tried different way.

Sophie, the GM in Kosher Kingdom is absolutely amazing. She was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. Spent much time guiding me, advising me, and helping me to make an order for delivery. She even made the call for me. Sophie is an exceptionally charming and pleasant young lady.

Rice was spectacular although the fish came raw, really upset and had to throw out. I would definitely recommend the wasabi though!

Just ordered Chicken Katsu Curry from Golders Green. Collected and staff were rude, would not even acknowledge me - I had to ask after 5 mins if I could take my order I could see sitting there. The katsu curry was the worst I’ve ever had. It’s more like a spicy chunky soup sauce. The chicken was bland. The rice was horrendous.

Hands down one of the best sushi places in London. It’s kosher sushi but I know a number of non kosher eaters who eat here just because of how good it is. They have options no where else has and the quality of fish is amongst the best. Would highly recommend.

We usually enjoy sushi haven, but tonight it was difficult to as our sushi arrived with no soy sauce(ordered via deliveroo). I have to say the fish is always very fresh and sushi is delicious.

Always a good time at sushi haven with good quality sushi and a wide menu available with good options. Highly recommend the tempura sweet potato fries! Sometimes if ordered through deliveroo stuff has been left out, especially sauces May 2021 Update : I am happy to say that the services has improved over the past year or so and the deliveroo orders are really great. The new menu items like the katsu curry are amazing too. I had a great experience on the phone with Yehuda regarding my order, he is really great and friendly. Ordered and paid for food at 2030. Text saying delivery between 2130 and 2200. No sign of food and now 2217. Rang and listened to music and recorded messages for past 20 minutes, Do not order from this company as they take you money and do not deliver. Food finally arrived at 2250 (this was via their own delivery person) when I'd given up and eaten something else. The order said it was ready at 2127 so the hot food was totally cold .No apology. Just told that they are busy.

Just went to Sushi Haven and placed a walk in order. The sushi was the most unappetising and sloppily made I've ever had. The service wasn't particularly friendly as a walk in either. As a local I will not be visiting again.

Fantastic sushi !!! My 3yo daughter especially recommends the "ricey one with salmon on top". Sushi is her favorite dinner choice. That being said, we all enjoy the sushi

I have been a customer of Sushi Haven for 6 months. Absolutely love it. So tasty and a a great menu. Always excellent customer service and delivery. I have tried many sushi restaurants in London and this is my favourite. 5 out of 5. Last night I took the order to my support bubble who is Japanese, from Tokyo. She has given a four star rating which I think is still very good, coming from a Japanese person. Her honest feedback is 1. Tasty 2. Excellent fish quality 3. New nouveau cuisine style creative - all good, but it’s maybe too “new” and innovative to be traditional Japanese. Some simplicity would be good but being fair I didn’t show her the whole menu. So as I love the restaurant I will give 5 stars and encourage her to order independently using the website with her own login and review on google at a later stage.

tops amazing high quality sushi

Food was OK, so if its being delivered that's fine. But the staff in person were rude and unpleasant - I arrived 5 minutes early and was told to go away and come back. I came back at the time I was told to, and then got ignored and again treated rudely (no acknowledgement that I had alrwsdy been and told to come back) . This was by the manager, the chef was actually very friendly but the guy in charge needs to go in my opinion

I don't have pics to post cause everytime I get sushi from this shop, I can't think of anything else but eating as quick as I can. I usually get it delivered to my door as I'm rarely in Golders Green. However yesterday we ordered some noodles and some sushi (mini platter). The price is super convenient but what i love more is the taste of sushi. The ingredients are super fresh and selected. I'm not a big fan of noodles but my partner got some for him and I tried Suhi heaven's noodles, I loved them to the point that I add them to my favorite dishes to order next time. The special/tempura rolls are unreal, I love this place to the point that If I'll ever move area I would be concerned to find another place in which they make sushi the same way these guys do. In London it is a rare experience to eat good stuff like this, at this price. I tried many other places before finding the right one and I can confirm, Shushi Haven is the BEST.

Since when does a kosher store have music of ladies singing ? I really thought i was in some kind of a bar, soo loud.... oh i forgot to say i only asked 3 times to please lower the volume but the guy just looked at me as if im crazy... i wonder.......anywau just be carefull when going in therr you might walk out with a huge headache!!!

Delicious sushi at a good price

Sushi like I've never had before! Forget best Kosher sushi, this is the best sushi outside Japan full stop! Perhaps the only thing that could tempt me to move the London. Happened upon this place while heading to the Tube station. Friendly and fast service, and the menu is very well priced. Wish I could get stuff like this in Birmingham!

My favourite sushi - they have a large variety of rolls, I particularly enjoy the cooked ones, and even the plain Salmon & Avocado one is always fresh and tasty. The service is excellent too. You can conveniently order online and delivery time is about 1 hour. Be advised it's more suitable for delivery/take-away than eating in, as the place has no toilets. On the one occasion they didn't deliver a part of our order they really made it up to us - refunded us *and* sent a driver with the rest of the order straight away. They certainly enjoy my repeat business.

I was walking past this place and I thought "hey sushi!" So I walked in and the owner is such a legend of a bloke (even though I'm loath to assume gender, my feelings are more important than logic and in this case my feelings pushed me over the ledge and as I fell my gut told me the owners pronoun is he). He answered my myriads of questions and was more than thrilled to enthral me with vivid descriptions of the exquisite oriental menu items. With my imagination satisfied I proceeded to look at the menu and it was beyond my wildest dreams. And the pictures! Oh those pictures of what was to come! Suffice to say I was excited so exited in fact I had to sit down at one of the tables that so brilliantly conform to the interior design that envisioned an ambiance which could not better suit this establishment. Not more then few moments passed before a tray of magnificently plated fresh sushi appeared before me accompanied by a healthy serving of ginger, wasabi, eel sauce and spicy mayo. Yet it wasn't until the chopsticks softly brushed my lips and that first peice of precisely cut sushi touched my tongue did I get to experience "SUSHI HAVEN". The flavours exploded on my palate like that North Korean bomb Kim can't wait to detonate. With each following perfectly curated edible art that followed that initial slice of sushi I was blown into new dimensions not possibly imagined prior. Sufficiently satiated I went to pay and to offer my uninhibited thanks to the gentleman to make all of this possible and to my shock, he went ahead and thanked me! I have but only praise for this pervayour of fine dining in the heart of Her Majestys United Kingdom.
