The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

When i ventured upon this very Trendy and Popular Italian Restaurant i was very Impressed by it's Frontage and Inviting Menu near the front doors. I went in and spoke to the Maitrè De, could i have a table for one please. It was no peoblem. I was really looked after by the Food & Beverage Servers. To drink, i decided to have a Pint of Birra Moretti. I sat down at my table and had a Good peruse at the Menu. I chose for my Starter the Calamari and for my Main the Chicken & Chorizzo Carbanara. I just relaxed and Enjoyed my Birra Moretti Beer waiting for my Calamari. There were a few Customers in the Stunning Italian Styled Restaurant. My Starter was brought to my table and served to me. I was very Impressed with my Calamari in Batter with a Garlic dip. This was really Delicious. After i had finished, my Main was brought to me. A rather Generous Bowl of Pasta in a Thick cream sauce with Big Pieces of Chicken and Chorizzo Sausage meat. It looked Incredible. This really Excellent and very Delicious to Savour. I did not have a Sweet, i just had another Beer. My meal was Absolutely the Best Italian i have ever had. The Bill, i thought was very reasonable at only £ 34.50 pounds and a Gratuity for the very Friendly Server. I will be coming back for another meal. I Recommend this Great place in Stamford. Good food authentic italian ...reccomended

My partner and I saw a review online from What's on Hull and decided to give slice and social (the pizza franchise inside Brewdog) and see what the hype is about. Well we got the chip spice and tipsy tomato 16" pizzas and we were not disappointed at all! The tipsy tomato was amazing, great balance of all the ingredients with crunches in all the right places. My partner said the chip spice pizza was brilliant, in the top 5 pizzas he's had; no overpowering saltiness, no dryness considering the chicken is dry marinated and overall left us both feeling very satisfied after a 2.5hr walk in the countryside! Can't wait to come back with friends and have some more great pizza whilst playing on the retro consoles!

Honestly, the only reason I'm giving the restaurant 5 stars is because of the food, the Zucco Tortellini was absolutely amazing (I believe that was the name of the dish, it was made with pumpkin and riccota), it was the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant, the portion size was very small, but honestly was very much worth it, I also ate a pizza whilst I was there, but I have quite a big appetite, and if you are moving around London you don't necessarily need a large meal. I have to say though, as much as the staff are quite friendly, they aren't particularly attentive, and both times I attended they ended up either forgetting part of my order or taking absolutely ages to attend to our table, when it wasn't particularly busy. I would honestly say despite the relatively poor service, this restaurant is one of the best I've ever been to, and I would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you are patient in the face of a good meal.

A really lovely restaurant with great food. It has a fabulous view of the harbour. The staff were lovely & friendly. Would highly recommend a visit & would return!

It was sooo busy when we arrived last night, didn't think we would get in ! We got a table and all staff were very accommodating, the food was delicious everyone was really friendly and even though everyone was rushed off their feet service was outstanding 👌 Overall great experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent service from Nyasha at the bar who made us some delicious cocktails. He made the experience even better with his flair bartending talents. The team is very friendly and I will definitely be coming back. :-))

You are not a welcome guest if you come to drink coffee with dessert. The waiter even said, "Actually, we don't serve guests who come for coffee, and since there are few people right now, we served you. So next time, come eat." No, thanks! If you don’t want to serve such guests, then ask at the welcome desk what the purpose of their visit is. By the way, the coffee was awful and the cake wasn’t bad

We have been here a number of times, as my family likes going there for some unknown reason to me - likely the free meal you are supposed to get on your birthday. The food was average, which is why I have given 2 stars but the rest of it was a shambles. The restaurant was dead, which is kind of telling! When we arrived our table had been booked for 2 people, while we had booked for 10. The service was really poor, the lady who served us was not around half the time to serve us but rather outside smoking and I felt just not professional. Then when we came to pay, we asked for the free meal as advertised on their website (photo attached) and she refused, saying that they had stopped the deal. Really poor, you advertise to get customers in an then refuse when the come to pay! Will try hard to not return in the future.

My family and I had a fantastic meal at Bella Italia Sherwood recently - in particular, KES was a brilliant host. She was friendly and professional at all times. Thank you also to Isaac!
