Great service, lovely clean restaurant and delicious food

Amazing food everytime and super friendly service! I can’t recommend enough!

Just had an incredible dining experience! The food and drinks were top quality, and the place was spotless, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Honestly, couldn't ask for more; everything hit the mark perfectly! Highly recommend!

So I booked a table as part of the Eat Out to Help Out deal that they are doing in April and I was so pleased I did! We had a great meal with excellent service. The food was delicious and the discount saved me £27! Calamari was so tasty. Pizza was huge and my son said the best he has had ever. The buttermilk chicken burger was delicious! I had cobb salad and truffle fries - all gorgeous! Empty plates all round. Sadly the restaurant was practically empty. People are missing a trick! This was so good! Mon-weds in April, 50% off mains and soft drinks- too good to miss! Brilliant! We will be back.

We must of been invisible!! Booked online with confirmation email, but they didn't have a record of us however they did fit us in - but they weren't over run. SERVICE: We ordered waited 20mins for drinks & then another 30 mins for starters. Then 1hr later we're asked if we want deserts, to which we reply "we haven't had our mains yet!". Another 20 mins & no-one confirms they forgot us, but we gather they did. They place closes at 21:00 & we didn't receive our mains till 20:15. Once finished trying to get there attention for the dessert menu was hard considering only 4 other parties were in the restaurant. We actually didn't leave until 21:20 as they didn't seem to be in a rush to take our money & when we did get the bill it was incorrect - so check your bill! FOOD: This was really nice, garlic bread starter is huge, you could easily share, mains were good & desserts very good for those with a sweet tooth. OVERALL: Food was good, but the service REALLY let this place down, it was our 1st time there & from start to finish the service was lacking so won't be going here again.

Lovely place with cute warm tones and warm welcome, loved the lunch time 2-3 course menu .. Loved the smoked salmon fish cakes with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce absolutely lush. We will be back next time we visit Whitley shopping centre. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

On the times we have visited the restaurant has not been busy and the service has therefore been individual and very pleasant. There has never been an issue with the quality or flavour of our menu choice. Plenty of free parking close by. There is a minimalist quality to the decor but that does not deter us from the return visits

I’ve just enjoyed the most fantastic meal! The gluten-free tartiflette was out of this world—so tasty and perfectly cooked, I couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free. The baked chocolate cookie dough was the perfect size after our pizzas, and honestly, everything from the service to the atmosphere was spot on. The staff were super friendly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Nice atmosphere, excellent menu. Generally good food. I just wish restaurants offering real pizza didn't overcook them all the time. Pizza should not be that crispy/burnt.

I just had a fantastic meal! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Oven Baked Chicken & Mushroom Penne and the Cookies & Cream Cheesecake, which had a great portion size. The service was top-notch too; the staff were super friendly and made sure we were enjoying everything. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making for a lovely evening out. I can't wait to return!

Had seabass. Bit small covered too much in sauce but tasty. Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Port Solent was very spacious restaurant and cater well for children.

Just had a lovely meal that totally hit the spot! The Mozzarella and Caramelised Onion Garlic Bread was so delish, and I couldn't get enough of the Bucatini alla norma—definitely a new fave! The service was top-notch, from the warm welcome to the friendly farewell. I really appreciated how promptly everything was brought to the table. Can't wait to go back for more!

Brilliant visit! My partner and friend was with me and we decided to have a meal out on a whim and probs to this place for fitting us in cause blimey it was busy. Shout out to a particular member of staff Tommy, was amazing as a guest he did an excellent job under the pressure to make sure everyone was happy and also probs to the kitchen staff as well the food was fantastic even tho place was busy and we had a little wait for food, wasn’t put off at all cause only natural as the place was packed so didn’t mind waiting at all! Food was amazing and so was service couldn’t recommend this place enough, definitely will be going so much more this year than last :)

I can't recommend this place enough! The food was fantastic—each dish, from the calamari to the sticky toffee pudding, was spot on in taste and presentation. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we enjoyed every moment. Although I felt the value could be slightly better, the overall experience was still brilliant. If you're looking for a great meal, you definitely need to check this spot out!

Chips were cold - creamed spinach side missing and looks like we have someone else’s spaghetti meal - someone else is going to be disappointed as well - overall disappointing ☹️

loved everything! So clean and well looked after. food was exceptional and well priced. our server was Bo and we spontaneously commented between ourselves several times during our meal how lovely she was. Friendly, attentive and welcoming. all staff who interacted with us were very nice. can’t wait to come back

My partner and I got turned away by a young lady because we didn't have a booking when the restaurant was half empty with absolutely no explanation as to why. Even if it's the restaurants policy to not accept walk ins after a certain time, maybe train your staff in how to handle it better. We like wildwood. After this experience we won't be rushing back.

Great place to eat. Service fab. Only downside for me, it's a big place and very loud so you feel like your shouting.

Took my friend for her 60th birthday lunch. Fabulous service, friendly, but professional. Food was delicious and hot. Great atmosphere and decor. We had a selection of starters, instead of main meals. Will definitely return if in the area.

Lovely bright clean spacious restaurant. All the staff were very cheerful and attentive taking time to chat to customers. Food was very tasty and pipping hot. Good value 2 courses £13.95 from special menu. Free parking was a bonus.

My pizza was horrible- cold and uncooked jelly like egg white! The chips were inedible- not only were they cold, they also had a very odd cleaning substance taste. Overall a complete waste of £20 odd pounds. The delivery lady was an absolute star, very friendly and lovely. Don’t think I’ll be getting a pizza from here again- so bad

Excellent service this evening with friendly attentive smiley staff. Popped in for a quick dinner and the 3 of us had a burger, bolognaise and a pizza. Pizza was the best I’d had anywhere in a long time. My request for a couple of extra toppings on my margarita was happily fulfilled and a generous amount too. All in all we are glad we came here for dinner as hadn’t visited for some time and everything was perfect. Will return for sure.

We waited an age for our food we even saw it on the hot counter to be bought over to us. When it eventually arrive the meals were Moy very warm, so we will not be rushing back.

Super service, on a quiet Sunday evening. Pizza was great, fresh and Naples style thin and huge. Fair price.

Great food and atmosphere, I dont like the tipping scheme. I dont mind a polite request for a tip, I don't like having to ask to remove it. I feel like I'm pressured into it.

The whole family love this place, none of us has ever had a bad meal, and they are often excellent. The staff are always great, and very quick to sort out any problems. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I was treated very bad by a guy, very rude and discrimination was there against me! and pizza was cold and raw, I had ordered chips and the chips were very stale and cold and some were full of oil I recommend not going there or ordering food from there

I met friends for lunch here recently. Extremely welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere.

A little slow on service but it was busy. Food was good and staff were polite. A little noisy from the kids room and lots of screaming. Perfect for young families.

Came here for dinner with friends. I’d say it’s a nice place with attentive and friendly staff. I’d also say the food was really nice but if I’m being honest I feel it’s pricey for what it is and not particularly good value for the food. The decor is good in the restaurant. There is an ‘optional’ service charge added to the bill which you are told is totally optional but personally I don’t like this because if you want to tip then you will tip. I don’t like all these ‘optional tip’ places put on now as it’s almost forcing you to tip. Not in agreement with this new trend.

OK Food and Service, Spoiled a little by the 10% automatically added Service Charge....with the option to remove it. We are not in America. We were a couple having a quick bite, one course before the cinema. Don't add 10%, I removed it on principle. Would probably have added myselfit if it hadnt been added for me.

Took two of my Grandchildren here for lunch all staff very helpful. We all ordered our food which came pretty promptly. I asked the waitress part way through the meal if it was possible if I could have 1 more slice of Sourdough bread to enable me to finish my pate No problem she said and within a couple of minutes it duly arrived. We finished our meal and I asked for the bill which also arrived pretty promptly. On studying the bill I noticed a charge for a slice of Sourdough Bread wait for it £1-75 I could not believe what I was reading yes I did say £ 1-75. I asked the waitress if they were joking because I could buy a loaf of bread for that price and have change she said there was nothing she could do!!! I then decided to remove the service charge which did not go down well. Someone in Authority at Wildwood needs to get a grip as all I wanted was one more slice of bread

Brilliant. I had a job to finish my dish and needed help from my family. But it was excellent, everything was excellent. It was quiet when we went there, not too pricey.

We had Christmas catch up with friends and decided to pop in to Wildwood. Our waitress Daisy was a delight - really pleasant with a great sense of humour. Certainly did Wildwood proud. Our meals were all very nice and included seafood pasta, peri-peri chicken and pizza. Overall a very good dining experience.

It was a quiet afternoon & the service & food were great. My only gripe was for a table of 2 was the 10%service charge automatically added, although it was optional to pay it. I felt that for big parties fair enough for tables less than 6, it shouldn't be automatically added. As a result, I didn't tip how I wanted to. A downer or a very pleasant lunch.

Ordered a takeaway the other night, when the calzone and flat bread arrived stone cold, shame really as it’s not cheap.

The food here is so very hit and miss lately. Ive been coming here for years and last nights experience fell short . I had a pepperoni pizza which was over cooked and tasted like a frozen pizza from Iceland , my son had carbonara which was very flavourful but was dry . The rosemary garlic bread was like a poppadom ,, very over cooked and snapped intead of tearing . The best part of the meal was the side of chips which were hot and salty (£4.75 for a tiny basket) !!, . The staff on the whole were ok . We were greeted by a mature foreign lady with very little warmth or welcoming / time for the customer , given a table by the front door which produced an icy blast every time it was opened , we moved in the end but I could tell she was irritated by our request. At no time were we asked if we were happy with our food ( we were not ) but just got on with it . This is not a cheap place to eat and the standard has definitely dropped , there is also a 10% service charge added to the bill , which granted is optional . I dont mind tipping people who have given good service and food but the presumption is not welcome ,, plus why should you pay extra to people for doing the work they are already paid to do and that is the reason they are there ?. This experience has pushed us away from Wildwood Whitely and we will go to other places ,, its such a shame things have slipped at our old favourite .

We’ve eaten in different venues of Wildwood previously, they’ve all provided good food with minimal waiting. Will continue to visit.

If you’re looking for a nice dinner where you’re able to have a conversation AVOID. The restaurant is so loud and they sat us in the middle of the echoing room - if you do not want to spend your meal shouting to one another then defiantly avoid. Myself and my partner ended up moving tables due to not being able to bare being in the middle. Although this helped it was still overwhelmingly loud within the restaurant. It is very much similar to a restaurant within an all exclusive hotel, not the dining experience we were expecting. The staff were extremely rude, they rushed us to order. Didn’t ask how our food was or if everything was okay, was not welcomed on our arrival (menus where thrown at the table and the waiter disappeared before we even sat down) - probably due to knowing how bad the restaurant is themselves. We ordered prawns for a starter - just to make it clear you can by a pack ready to eat which is nicer from M&S for a quarter of the price. Bread was dry and they were defiantly not king prawns - wouldn’t be surprised if they were microwaved. My main was not as bad as expected. I got the cheese steak sandwich - it was average for the price. My partner on the other hand got a rack of ribs - the driest, most flavourless ribs. Do not recommend at all. It’s a shame as I feel that the location has so much potential that is going to waste.

Portion sizes were disappointing. If I'm paying £12 or £13 for a burger, I at least expect it to be Big Mac size, not something just big enough to feed a mouse. Everything else was good though!

Stood waiting at the entrance for a while, asked for a table for two and was told it would be a 20 minute wait because they didn't have enough staff. The place was half empty. If the management read this, you clearly need more staff.

Went for a meal with grandparents who are notoriously fussy but everyone enjoyed. Service was really attentive, however there was a longer than usual gap between our starters and mains. All dishes were delicious, apart from the confit duck which was more like crispy aromatic duck from the Chinese, which was a shame as the flavour was nice. Would go again - great space and even have a ‘kids zone’ away from the main dinning area.

We had some lovely food here on Saturday night. My risotto was lovely and my friends all enjoyed their meals too. Parking was really busy but it was raining so that was to be expected. They did add a service charge onto our meal which we chose to remove as we were not a large party. Would definitely come back. Spent £25 on main, dessert and a drink.

Very nice restaurant, the staff were very friendly and efficient. This is the first time I had visited this chain of restaurants, and will certainly chose them again. Good range of foods and affordable prices.

Went for a quick bite to eat after work. Sadly the outside area was not open due to shortage of staff to serve it. Nice decor inside and staff were very friendly especially our waiter. Food was good but under seasoned (but I always find that with carbonara and is probably just my taste!). Rosemary garlic bread was a bit over cooked and needed more rosemary. Portions were good size and good price. Would happily go back again.

Very welcoming place. Quick to be seated and served drinks. Staff don’t hound you and the restaurant very clean. I have recommended this place already as the food is delicious. Hopefully going back soon.

The menu looked very good and the food was also very tasty. The pizza could have a little more meat and the staff could smile a little more. Furthermore, nice place, you sit private and there is also a separate corner for children.
