Really pleased with our experience of a children’s party today. We had 10 five year old girls who had a wonderful time. We were warmly greeted by our party host who was very friendly and attentive. The party area was decorated with lovely decorations. The girls all made their hats, washed their hands then made their pizza. The dough was already rolled which I wasn’t expecting but probably was best for the age group and the time allotted. After their starters they ate their pizza and it was time for cake. There were no games but there wasn’t much time. Excellent value for money. The girls all felt really grown up and it was just something different rather than the millions of soft play party’s. We hope to return for another party soon. Oh and the pizza was delicious 😋 Thank you

There was absolutely no chicken in my meal whatsoever, arrived lukewarm and arrived late to the time I selected (7pm).

Great food, great atmosphere and great staff thanks

We recently hosted a joint birthday party for our 3 and 9-year-old daughters at Pizza Express in Loughborough, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, everything was seamless. The booking process was smooth and informative - everything was clearly explained, and we felt confident going in. When we arrived, the staff greeted us with big smiles and helped us set up quickly and easily. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, which immediately set the tone for a fun day. A special shoutout to our host Beth, who was absolutely outstanding. She went above and beyond to make the event even better than we expected. She kept the kids engaged, made sure they were always having fun, and somehow also made sure we, as parents, could relax and enjoy the experience of looking after 12 energetic children! Nothing was too much trouble for her or the team. The pizza-making activity was a huge hit! The kids got to make their own bases and choose their own toppings, which they absolutely loved. While the pizzas were cooking, they enjoyed a delicious starter of dough balls with dips of their choice, and then finished off with dessert. The food was great quality, and all tailored to the kids. The feedback from the children was amazing, with one even saying it was “the best birthday party she’d ever been to.” That says it all! We would 100% recommend Beth and the whole Pizza Express Loughborough team for anyone considering a children’s party. They truly made it a memorable and joyful occasion for everyone involved.

We headed to this store and told the member of staff that we’d like the £19.65 deal that includes a starter and main. They said it would be fine and we went ahead and placed our order. When it came to paying, we had a gift card that we used and we knew we’d have to pay some extra. The member of staff put multiple receipts in front of us and was ready and waiting with the card machine for us to pay, so we didn’t really have a chance to look anything over. We assumed the deal we requested had been added to the bill. Once we got home and had a chance to check everything, we felt something wasn’t right. We checked the receipt over and noticed that we’d been charged for everything separately, and not as part of the deal we’d asked for at the start and which we were told we could go for, so in fact we’d overpaid because of this. In all honesty the food wasn’t up to the usual standard we have had before at other Pizza Express stores. The pizza was dry and the base was hard to cut as it was a little overdone. It’s a shame we had this experience, as usually we haven’t been left disappointed.

Good place for lunch. The service was both friendly and quick. The food was delivered quickly and was hot and tasty.

Food was very good quality nice and hot. Shame the delivery wasn’t made until 6.43 when I’d chosen 6.15 to be delivered. Not the delivery guys fault, it was the restaurant who didn’t start cooking the food until 6.20.

I have ordered the new Biscoff Cheesecake, the photo on the menu is showing 3 pieces but I only got one piece. I will expect I will get 3 pieces of cheesecakes with this size and £9.95 but I only received one. The quantity did not match the menu.

Ordered through just eat. There was way too much cheese on both of the pizza. One of the pizzas had all the cheese one one half of the pizza and 0 cheese on the other half. Dough was extremely soggy. This is one of the worst pizzas I've ever had.

Service was excellent and staff were very attentive to our children. Food came out fast, tasted very nice and there were lots on offer on the menu. The kids were given some activity sheets to fill out and then after their dinner were given an activity tray to make their own dough animals, the staff then cooked them and boxed them up for us to take home. Would highly recommend, setting was calm and clean, we will be returning.

I love going to Pizza Express in Loughborough. I find the food to be delicious and flavoursome, great mixture of options of. Salads, pizzas and pasta dishes. Plus desserts. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious with the added bonus of the outdoor eating area which is a lovely suntrap. I've been coming on a regular basis for several years now and it's always been consistently very good. The thing that surprises me most is that although part of a chain this branch does in no way shape or form feel generic , it feels like an independent restaurant where the interest in customers feels individual and bespoke. This is obviously informed by the environment created by the team who work there. Big shout out to people who have served me the last couple of times I have been so thanks too Daniella, Alice, Ellie, Helen, Esbat and the lovely Patryk. Happy 60 th Anniversary Pizza Express !

Our daughter had her 8th birthday here and it was great, she loved it, and the young lady hosting it was amazing with all the children.

Wrong drink delivered The Man on the phone was useless and didn't care

We ordered at 5:30pm but the food didn’t come until well after 7pm. Delivery time kept increasing on the tracker. It was ridiculous.

Great service they seated our large table very promptly and served all of our food together so we could enjoy our pizzas together. The staff have been great

Good service from Max. All of the staff seemed friendly. Though the restaurant wasn't very busy, it had a good atmosphere as it was playing good music. Just that the lasagne was a bit disappointing, with not much meat in it. Would visit again though.

We had my daughter's 4th birthday party at Pizza Express and had the most amazing time! The ages of the children ranged from 22 months to 4 years old and all the children had a fantastic time. Beth was our host and she was brilliant with the children. My daughter loved her and wanted to take her home with us! Patryk was fantastic in person and in the planning stages - he responded quickly to messages and gave me all the information I needed. The chef was also amazing but I can't remember his name. The atmosphere at the restaurant was really welcoming. Even though the party ran over because some of the guests arrived later than 10.30am, we were not rushed to leave. I would highly recommend a pizza party at this Pizza Express, to anyone considering having one. Thank you so much, Pizza Express Loughborough!

Very lovely food, but the new vegan salad is extortionate priced and not very filling. What used to be a very filling meal is now mostly spinach and other greens with a few grains and a little bit of Hummus.

Love pizza express, food is always great and price is reasonable! My partner is a gold member and he never fails to mention it at parties!

The cheese on the pizza was so good and the restaurant had a great service like Bess and alife and the restaurant looked good from someone with the letter z in cobden

Although solo, and started to get busy when I was there, there was no pressure on me to hurry up. Food was good, service and staff excellent.

Order came without the dishes, just dips…. Replacement would take 2 hours even though restaurant admitted my order was still sitting on the side in their restaurant

wrote lidl Security on the address and the delivery riderr went somewhere else and had to call me! all the toppings off the brushetta had fallen off and pizza was luke warm.

Lovely food however it was cold.

Ordered at 6pm but delivery time kept changing. In the end, we didn't get our order until 8.50pm. When trying to call to find out about our order, there was no answer. Food was tough to eat, cold and not worth half the price we paid. Extremely disappointed.

Ordered through Uber eats. There was an offer of 40% off but once checked out it still worked out to be over £28 for two large pizzas. The pizzas were dry and had hardly any sauce on. Not very impressed, usually taste better when I have eaten in at pizza express

The person that served was delight always smiling her smile bought a lot of positivity felt so welcomed even came back to ask us if everything was customer service I’d give 10 stars if I could and quality of food never disappointed

We don't visit Loughborough ; a real taste often but, when lunching, it is hard to find a better venue in the town. Service is friendly and timely whilst the change of menu allowing for us to have "2 pizzas in one" is a delight. Spicey on one side and veggies on the other coupled with a generous mixed salad were nicely cooked on the Romana base which we prefer to a thick dough. With a good covering of ingredients these pizzas were filling, hot and tasty. Congrats to the chef and to Ellie our waitress.

Nice and quiet and one of us had student discount, YES! 23 quid straight off the bill. Padana Pizza with extra mushrooms and Smokey BBQ Chicken Pizza, dough balls and sticky toffee pudding today’s choices. Not a bad Monday at all.

Thank you for the great food. However, I would like to request that the dishes not be overcooked. On my last three visits, I found large portions of burnt dough and lasagna, which forced me to keep removing the burnt parts while eating, leaving leftover.

Patryk and his team went above and beyond to make my twins’ birthday meal special - there were 25 of us (13 kids!) and we were all seated in a nice area together, with birthday posters, a ballon and personalised cards for the birthday boys. The food and service was great and nothing was too much trouble. All in all, an absolutely brilliant experience and we are very grateful to the team for making it so stress free and enjoyable!

The fresh new menu is exciting and different. Our waiter (at Loughborough) Adam was friendly, professional and attentive. All in all a great meal! I strongly recommend Loughborough branch for a visit!

Always reliable. Lot more expensive recently though. The app has very few benefits now. Kids love it and vegan options are good. Gluten free pizzas are kids size only which I find perplexing. Why?? I'm prepared to pay more for an adult sized pizza! Come on Pizza Express. About time this was sorted.

We went as a family of four to make use of the 'kids eat for free' deal where you get a free children's piccolo meal for each adult main. The food was nice enough for what it is. However, when we received the bill, we were charged for the two adults meals and drinks that we'd ordered, plus there was a part charge for the piccolo meals. When we queried it, the server (Patryk) referred to various numbers, none of which actually added up and ended up being a little rude frankly. There was no explanation given for why there was a partial charge for the piccolo meals when they were supposed to be free. He didn't seem to think there was an issue, so would not amend the bill. I don't mind if a mistake is made, but the response we received was appalling and represents terrible customer service. We won't be returning.

Tom was great as host and helped us greatly with the APP and offers available. Pizzas were excellent . With Revolution and Cineworld closing important we support those businesses still remaining in Loughborough.

We always visit mid afternoon during the week because it is quieter. We continue to come to this clean, friendly pizza restaurant because the food is delicious every trip and the service professional, quick and friendly. The staff are always helpful and Alice and Alex stand out thanks! We also have to mention the Pizza guy, Esbat great cooking thanks! My favourite is the Padana main and the beautifully fresh mozzarella and pesto to start - light and tasty. DH enjoys the slightly spiced prawns to start (another light delicious dish) and the Spicey Giuseppe pizza. The blush wine is always served perfectly chilled what more can I say... oh it is a relaxing restaurant, nice decor and comfy seats.

Previous visits here weren’t great, but this year they changed the manager and it’s pretty good food for Loughborough. Pizza is arguably best in town. Reasonable prices, friendly staff.

The gluten free pizza base wasn't cooked, soft more like a pancake. Shame as toppings were lovely. Don't know if it was rushed as when eat in restaurant or picked up myself has been fine. Rang restaurant and said they haven't changed the bases. 🙁

I thought food from just eat is meant to be sealed. Mine was not and the box was slightly open. I do not feel comfortable eating this food. I have taken photos as proof and would like a full refund

Voucher in hand we took the plunge to try PE. We were greeted by a young lady called Lauren, who was respectfully dressed and very polite and professional. Since our arrival this member of staff has not stood still, constantly helping customers and completing tasks without direction. She tended to all our needs in a Friendly, professional and not pushy way. This young lady will go far!! Massive thanks Lauren, we will try PE again. 🤗

The dough balls were completely burnt and was unable to send out a replacement

After walking around for a while I decided I would have pizza at Pizza Express. It had been a while since I had been to Pizza Express. They had a new addition to their menu, the Soho '65. A slice of our heritage - tomato with garlic, fresh buffalo mozzarella, olives, rocket and shaved Gran Milano cheesSe. So I ordered the Soho '65 and a side order of halloumi bites. It wasn't too long before my food arrived. This is a rather simple, but tasty pizza. It’s also a square pizza. I think they forgot to add the shaved Gran Milano cheese, this I didn't notice at the time. However I did enjoy the pizza and did like the combination of fresh mozzarella, olives, and rocket. The base was baked well and was crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and tasty. Alongside (as I had a free side in the app) I had a portion of halloumi bites, this was crispy coated halloumi with Italian tomato dip and parsley. Didn't think much of these, the halloumi was okay, but I didn't like the tomato dip. I think as it was (probably) from a jar and didn't taste very fresh. I did enjoy my meal and the service was excellent.

Good quality food, friendly service. A little quieter than we expected on Bank Holiday weekend.

Mains were ok, nothing special. Sides of chips and halloumi bites were dreadful though, definitely wouldn’t order them again. Service was ok, staff were friendly but there was no atmosphere to the restaurant. It’s worth noting that any discount codes/offers do not work with app rewards. This wasn’t highlighted by staff, but luckily sorted in the end.

My son had a pizza party yesterday for his birthday with a group of friends. Natalie, who hosted, was brilliant with the children. They all had so much fun and my son had a great time. Thank you to Natalie and the team for a great party.
