Possibly the most delicious Italian meal I have had this year. I had the linguine with prawns and asparagus, they were both well cooked and generous, two of my favourite things in one dish 🧡

Fantastic food and excellent service

I wish I saw the review of the steak before I ordered. Like the previous review, I asked for a medium and it came well done, it was tough and rough. The steak came to the table swimming in butter. Service wise, I gave it a 3 because the waiter obviously saw how much of the steak was left but did ask if the meal was ok. I appreciated he acknowledged my disappointment and still came with the bill with a smile. There was clearly no point asking and there’s no point having to tell either. The one star was for the chips which was nice. For £35 I’m not going to lose sleep over, it might be nice to someone who likes well done steak. Atmosphere was ok. It was a quiet night.

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice Italian lunch. We didn't get it here. The pizzas were not very nice. Maybe the fact we were there as the restaurant opened for lunch. The oven wasn't at the right temperature. The pizzas were services in these big round trays. Something you would use to serve drinks on! Weird. The member of staff was nice, but the cleanliness of the toilets... how can I be polite. Very very poor. The toilets need some money spent on them to make then presentable. A good cleaning is need too. We spent £59.43 on lunch. Not worth it. Shame

Just had another excellent meal courtesy Giovanni and Luigi at our favourite Loughborough restaurant. Only one problem, not enough other diners! As I have said before, La Favorita is Loughborough's best kept secret so get together with your friends and family and treat yourselves to truly great Italian food.

Loughborough's best kept secret. La Favorita, on High Street Loughborough is unassuming looking but fantastic if you like fresh food, cooked for you. So far everything me, my wife and our daughter have eaten on our regular visits to La Favorita has been top class. Very Highly recommended.

I had delicious tagliatelle with salmon. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Service was amazing. Next time I need to come to try some desserts 🍮☺️ hoping to be back soon, as it is very worth the drive for those authentic Italian dishes made with care 🤩

Once again my wife and I had a delicious meal at La Favorita. Today is a Saturday and I was surprised by how few of the tables were occupied. As usual the food (and service from Giovanni) was top quality. We are well familiar with most of the Italian restaurants in the Loughborough area and La Favorita is our preference by far. You must go soon. Wonderful traditional Italian food awaits you.

Booked 8pm on a Saturday evening. Other customers food looked delicious. Ordered drinks and then food. Was told no spaghetti bol so had to choose something else. Unfortunately the waiter came back to inform us they had ran out of pizza dough 😕 which I find hard to believe on a Saturday an Italian restaurant runs out of spaghetti and pizza! We left as there wasn't anything else on the menu are children fancied. I'm not sure the staff really wanted us there. 3 adults and 2 children. Really disappointing as the place and food looked good.

Just returned home from a great lunchtime experience. Our first time at La Favorita was a total success. A relaxed atmosphere and wonderful food is all we ask for and we got it. Everything is made in house and it shows. Highly recommended. Thank you La Favorita.

Beautiful place, amazing service and amazing food! I can not fault this restaurant in anyway. Always attentive and always friendly, this is small family run place and it shows because they care and make sure the experience is amazing every time. Well done guys

We booked an early table at 6pm. Comfortable chairs. We had great service . Giovanni gave us paper menu's as we're not IT gurus. But it wasn't difficult to read the menu on line. We had a vegan, a gluten free and a normal starter, main and dessert. And drinks. The food was fabulous. Beautifully cooked and presented and the table service was excellent. We got everything we asked for ,served with a smile. We had a great evening. It was worth every penny. This is a small restaurant but its versatile. I personally don't like music when you have a full restaurant...it's just too noisy. So we had no complaints.

Had a lovely time here for Mum's birthday, the one downside was the expectation that octogenarians would have mobile phones and be able scan a QR code to get the menu. This kind of thing is fine in McDonald's but you don't expect it in a nice restaurant.

We ate here on an evening and left feeling fairly underwhelmed. Let me tell you... We were greeted upon entry with a warm welcome, but the restaurant lacked any real atmosphere or feeling you are in for a treat. The menu was on a QR code which is never great for the menu browsers among us. I like to scour the options before I make my choice, but scrolling through a website to see what to order just put me right off from the start. We then see shortly afterwards, menus given to other customers - how odd, maybe we looked like QR code type people! We ordered food, and it was nothing special from start to finish. Cook from frozen calamari which was a little greasy, and olives that were of the cheap variety. Mains that were fairly run of the mill, although the pizza was apparently 'nice' according to the other half. Pasta sauce that wouldn't jump out in a crowd and bruschetta that was fine, but not value for money. Drinks wise, half a pint of Peroni was £3.95 which is fairly steep. No wine menu was given - again, check the QR code and scroll to see the wine, quite honesty, very annoying having to do so hence we didn't order wine. Certainly not worth the wait, the cost or our time popping in here. Not a complete disaster however by any means - the host was polite if not a little quirky, and the female server was busy, if not somewhat stiff. My recommendation would be to pop some classic Italian tunes on in the background for atmosphere, menus for every table, lose the somewhat stark table dressing and look to offer your customers a true Italian experience. Overall, I'd give the restaurant a 2.9 out of 5. I am not sure I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

Excellent food, wine, and service at La Favorita. Literally could have licked the plate clean. Scallops for Starter. Cooked to perfection and piping hot. I was going to have a steak for the main course, but I decided on the Monk Fish in Tagliatelle. Another amazing dish. Again, piping hot. Compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳

WOW!!! I am very shocked about this experience the second I walked in I felt right at home very welcoming by staff and owner have good sense of humour always has a smile on their face always make a good conversation. The food was amazing I would highly recommend if you are in Loughborough it was the best Italian’s I have ever been too always up and down to country and that is all I eat and I was blown away. The service was fast and the food was very detailed they put heart into every meal to make it perfect. Thank you very much for your service will be coming back in my next competition!

I had the linguine marinara, pasta with sun dried tomatoes, king prawns and mussels, in a rich tomato sauce and my husband got the penne arrabbiata. The seafood in the linguine was nice and a good amount of it, though i did have to add some salt to my own personal taste as it was slightly bland for me but the optional cheese on top really brought out the flavours, i was also offered black pepper but said no so maybe that would have made it even better for me. Next time ill do that. The portion size was good and the bread was delicious. 👌🏾 The penne arrabbiata was very nice and had a lovely amount of spice and flavour to it. The resturant was quiet at around 5:30 when we came, but the waiter was very welcoming and attentive The price was reasonable and we both enjoyed the meal. Would return!

Lacked atmosphere, some food not at right temperature, service was slow although generally pleasant, some cutlery missing, one starter had to be sent back but appeared on billl, withdrawn after challenge. Perhaps just a bad day but will not be returning

Always come here whenever my boyfriend is up to visit and thoroughly enjoy it every time! There so welcoming and friendly with quick service and delicious food. The chicken and prawn pasta is to die for !! Highly recommend- best restaurant in Loughborough!

We were visiting Loughborough to do a workshop, we wanted to have lunch and saw this italian restaurant in the town centre it had lovely decor with a relaxed atmosphere very pleasant. We had pizzas with a salad and a bottle of wine. The service was very attentive and polite. A restaurant happy to go back to if visiting the area.

Hidden Gem in Loughborough High Street. This place has amazing authentic Italian food. Going into the resteruant you can smell how amazing the food is. The decor is very Morden and welcoming. They can cater for Halal options like they did for us prior to visiting them. Finally thank you for looking us Faisal and Hissam!

Been here so many times food and wine fantastic the owner will do anything to look after your food needs if you are a normal eater to vegetarian vigen etc

Absolutely beautiful authentic Italian food. We had the penne salmone, spaghetti carbonara and penne campagnola. All were so flavoursome and cooked to perfection. A proper carbonara, creamy and light!! Thank you - can’t wait to eat from here again

We enjoyed a very pleasant meal here. The staff were friendly and the restaurant felt intimate and cosy in its decor. We all very much enjoyed our meals, the pasta was creamy and warming and the pizza had a crispy crust and was topped generously with peppers and goats cheese. I felt that the portion size for my pasta was a little small (although perhaps I’m just greedy as my friends were perfectly satisfied with theirs), the pizza was good however, less cheese would have been preferred as it was very thick and a little over-powering.

I have never had a bad meal here.

Great service, friendly waiter/owner? That accommodated us perfectly for a walk in with a child and a wheelchair. The food could've been a little better as some of our dishes lacked flavour but the fish was particularly great

Honestly… it was warm… about the best part of it. spag Bol was flavourless tasted like water… chips were soggy.. food was clearly microwaved

My 5th visit to this lovely Italian. Everytime I’ve went it’s been excellent and last nights visit with works friends was no exception. Beautiful food, the manager is lovely and the service was great. Best Italian around.

Why have a delivery notes box if the restaurant doesnt read it??? Rang me even though i told them i am deaf and to use door buzzer (which they didnt). Food dumped outside so was stone cold when found. Are disabled customers not wanted???

Wow! What a find! Wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff and the food was amazing. If we were local, this place would be a regular visit but sadly we were only visiting. If you're lucky enough to be in the area then this place is a must.

Fab little Italian restaurant serving classic Italian at very reasonable prices. The staff were friendly. I had Tagliatelle Mariana which was tasty. There is parking quite near.

We have visited La Favourita numerous times and they has never let us down! Staff are so friendly and food is so fresh and they clearly use only the best ingredients. Ever in doubt where to bring family and friends bring them here!!

It was mum's birthday & with COVID so high we couldn't risk going to our favourite restaurant so we treated ourselves to a fantastic takeaway from them instead. La Favorita... Delicious as always!

This was our 2nd visit but returned with a family party of 9 this time. Not a bad thing to say about the food it was delicious and the staff very friendly and accommodating, every plate returned empty. The quality menu offers a range of food which is reasonably priced with some special options too, we will certainly be returning again.

Amazingly good Italian restaurant. Exceptionally friendly staff, very attentive & helpful. When ordering, I couldn't decide between two main dishes. The manager asked what starter I ordered and recommended a dish (it happened to be £2 cheaper than the alternative I was considering) and he was absolutely right - it complemented the starter perfectly. Couldn't really fault the place. Highly recommended.

Down in Loughbourgh at the University hosting a couple of days training. "LA FAVORITA" came highly recommended, and Giovanni did covers for 18 at short notice. Wine, food and service all excellent.

Carbonara had almost no sauce and was very dry. Garlic brad was disappointing.

We have tried most of the restaurants in Loughborough and this one easily one of our favourites. We travel 40mins to eat here now! Staff are really polite and friendly. Food is delicious, the portions in particular the sides are very generous sizes. Would 100% recommend, you will not be disappointed
