Amazing food, great atmosphere & staff to boot. 5 star perfect

I've being going here since I was a kid. The food is with out a doubt some of the best food I've had, and price is amazing for what you get. The only down fall I can say about the place is the soft drinks. Quite pricey for what you get as if you want a glass of coke it's just over £2 but it comes out of a large bottle of coke and is always flat and room temperature. Need to really update the drink system.

The food is always good and great prices. We love the chicken kebab or the chicken wrap they are superb and the pizza platters are classic. Great place for nipping out for "tea" .

This is one of the lost gems of Cleethorpes, very understated now back in the hands of original owners, what a great place. The chicken kebab is perfect the food is cooked and seasoned to perfection. I can not prase this place enough.

Went for my birthday meal, the food was delicious be friendly service too. Would highly recommend going in for food to be served by the lovely staff and lovely fresh made food. Me and my partner also don’t eat milk and they offer lovely vegan cheese alternatives too.

Ordered a chicken pollo pasta. Wow, I was shocked at how tasteless it was. I couldn’t even finish it. Although it arrived hot, and looked nice, I literally couldn’t taste anything in it apart from red pepper? So disappointed

I’ve never eaten pasta with such little flavour. No seasoning, lack of fresh ingredients, I’m not sure but sort it out!

This restaurant stop on the time. We start bad we not fizzy lemonade... No bottles drinks it is 2L bottles. The proprietary sitting whatchig people eating. I Don't Eat Food was not tasty. Sadly I can't rate this how I want which is a massive 0 so 1 star it is but that's through gritted teeth. Trust me its not good and you can safely say I will NEVER be coming here again 🙅🏻‍♂️

We haven't dined here but the manager definitely needs lessons in training new staff! My daughter had a trial shift to shadow a worker as she hadn't worked in hospitality before. When she arrived he literally showed her where the cutlery was, where to put the dirty pots and passed her a note book to take orders. During her experience there he definitely did not make her trial an enjoyable one and proceeded the following day to bad mouth her to another member of staff that we know. So if any young persons are thinking of going for a trial..stay away as he uses them for his own gain so he doesn't have to pay them!!!

Both mine and my daughter's food was delicious and we were served quickly. My wine was great, too. The decor could do with updating and the waitress could do with a little more training with the menu, though she may be new, so that's completely understandable. She was polite and friendly though, and so was the manager. I'd definitely come to La Bella's again if we came again to Cleethorpes. Delicious!

This place is very dated, food and drink below average, service very poor, when we told waitress about food being dry she just walked away. Plus the place was full of people who had a good drink so atmosphere not for couples.

Lovely well cooked, tasty food. They did a gluten free based pizza. No trouble. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly.

Ordered pizza and garlic bread looked great dough wasn't cooked long enough so not nice, partners meatball tagliatelle meatballs and sauce ok tagliatelle was about 2"long !!!??? ordered the cheesecake for dessert hot on one end frozen in the middle so obviously microwaved sent it back didn't want another they still tried to charge me 1/2 for the microwaved cheesecake,the server was great couldn't apologise enough wasn't her fault she shouldn't have to apologise for microwaved food and poor pizza and midget tagliatelle all in all won't go back !! Very poor food the only authentic Italian part was the bottle of peroni

Lovely meal, nice place to go and very reasonably priced. We had the calzones which were tasty, well made and huge! We will go back on our next visit.

Thursday evening 7pm, not too busy, nice welcoming atmosphere with background music. Owner was extremely professional, friendly and attentive. My wife and I both opted for speciality dish "Chicken Stroganoff". Turned out to be a great choice, so tasty obviously cooked with quality ingredients in a truly fantastic sauce. Thankyou, would highly recommend.

When we entered the restaurant we were made most welcome and taken to our table,we ordered our food and drink and very quickly our starters arrived which were very nice, our mains came and these again were very nice we would recommend this restaurant not only for its food but its value for money and friendliness and will return again

What an amazing place!!! Food was delicious, the man serving us couldn’t be nicer! We couldn’t stop with the rest of the party but they happily put our pizzas into a takeaway box so we could enjoy it on the way home, fantastic services and lovely food!

What a delight! A true Italian host, venue and food. After a not so good experience in the area we opted for this little Italian and it really changed our night! Great food, great service and the owner is a character who can make anyone’s evening! Definitely shall revisit. Ps the Garlic bread starter is unbelievable!

La Bella is a lovely restaurant, great atmosphere and attentive staff. The menu is excellent, and our starters and main courses were plates of delicious hot food - all washed down with cool beers and finished with a great cappuccino. We had a great meal, well worth a visit if on a weekend break and great value for money.

Tonight we had a selection of starters instead of a main course it was absolutely amazing. My daughter had the pizza platter which she loved and also the chocolate fudge dessert which she loved too. Service was excellent from beginning to end made you feel so welcome. Definitely recommend. Best pizzas too.

Took family of 15 and all the food was fantastic especially the mixed kebab highly recommended.

First time trying la Bella,was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and the prices.asked for 12 inch cheesy garlic bread which was Not on the menu and the owner said he would do one for us specially..I opted for tagliatelle with meatballs.very tasty but not enough pasta and sauce a bit thick.calzones went down a treat very big had to take half home.l, and for £8-50 you couldn't fault them.i got carrot cake which was lovely but a little bit on the thin side compared to the chocolate fudge cake.(same price ) £4_95.for value I would recommend la bella

I never understand why this place is always empty. Great food and great service. I will say there was splashes of what I think was sauce or wine on the wall next to our table but the pasta was great as are the calzones

We visit La Bella each year when visiting family in the area and every time it is lovely. Friendly, hardworking staff and the food is delicious! The garlic bread is so tasty, pizza platters are amazing value for money and the chicken kebab is huge! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Me and four other friends went for a birthday meal and we wasn't disappointed ! Every meal was delicious.. friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Decently priced. Will definitely be ordering or going again for sure !

HORRENDOUS AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I should've known when I walked in and it was empty at 7 O'clock when the other Italian we tried was fully booked and in their words"it's always busy on a Wednesday night" and this place was empty that it's not very good and that's an understatement! I asked for garlic bread which the menu said was baked fresh in the kitchen and it came out on a frozen pizza base, covered in grease and swimming in the really watery tomato sauce they have.... Needless to say I never ate that and it went back and was removed from my bill. Then the mains came out and they were dreadful. My chicken pomodoro came out swimming in their watery tomato sauce and the chicken was flat , chewy , popping in my mouth... Definitely not fresh and the chips were basic oven chips and bland. My work mate had the wings which had little to no meat on them and his steak dinner which oddly was cheaper than my awful chicken was in his words " basic , bland and tasteless". Check my reviews and you'll see I love all foods and restaurants from around the UK and rate them according .... This was our first visit and it was lovely. Nice, traditional Italian restaurant, warm, friendly and family orientated. The pizzas were very nice especially the seafood one! Will visit again when back in Cleethorpes.

I don’t often put reviews on here but didn’t want anyone else wasting their hard earned cash here! On arrival we were shown to our table. All the staff looked very miserable as if they really didn’t want to be there. We we’re told we couldn’t order our food for a while because they were too busy. Very strange because there were only 4 tables in the restaurant including us. We’d ordered drinks but hadn’t received one, when we reminded the waitress she said they hadnt any clean glasses and we’re waiting for some to be washed. Again very odd given how quiet it was. My mum had ordered meat balls and they were rock hard so she left them. When we told the waitress the response was ‘I’ll let the chef know’. I asked the waitress a little later what the chef had said and the response was ‘I’ve told the chef’ I said ‘so that’s it then?’ She said yes then turned and walked away very rudely. The manager/owner came over a few minutes later and asked what the problem was. He said there was nothing wrong with the meatballs. I asked him to go and cut into one which he said he did and again said nothing was wrong with them. He blatantly did not want to accept that the food was of poor quality. No customer service at all and he was a very rude man. After a while he refunded half of the meatball dish but still refused to accept there was anything wrong with them. I’m really not sure how they survive given their customer service levels and poor food quality. I ordered the seafood pasta, it was ok however the sauce was really rich and more like a cheap bolognese sauce which overpowered and spoilt the seafood. There was nothing nice about this restaurant and I would highly recommend avoiding it at all costs! I only gave it 2 stars because my 7 year old said he enjoyed his spaghetti bolognese! Places I would recommend in cleethorpes are the Tap house and Marples Cafe.

My self and my partner had a very tasty bruschetta and cream garlic mushrooms staters and the best chicken barbecue pizza and pollo supreme tagliatelle pasta. Very tasty chocolate fudge cake.

Great food and very family friendly. My son is very fussy but loved his pizza and chips, and my daughter the spaghetti bolognese. My chicken kebab was very tasty and was a very large portion size. I had a look at the vegan menu and was impressed there was quite a bit of choice

Definitely had better italian pizza ,Waitress was lovely shame about the owner was really rude to her and complaining about too many guests there was three tables The other lady who looked like a co-owner literally no customer service at all To the waitress working go find another job your better than that !

Haven't ordered in a while so was looking forward to it, I ordered a prawn cocktail, sauce wasnt very nice, so washed the prawns of and made my own, the sauce had curdled,and was very powdery, prawns also wasn't nice, they looked like they had been defrosted quickly, potato skins also cooked different very hard inside, Cheese slid of the garlic bread base not cooked properly, the fella liked his lasagna, I left mine, actually wondered if it had changed owners, as we have always had lovely food weather sitting in or takeaway, Dissapointed with this order

Fast delivery and lovely food, unfortunately one of the garlic sauces was split in the packaging which went everywhere all over the rest of the food however this was refunded and never had a problem before, clearly an accident

Lovely food,very slow delivery told 45 min to an hour,hour and 20 later phoned and told 10 mins,20 mins later it arrived after speaking to manager was given £9.95 off delivery driver used excuse of restaurant busy and restaurant customers come first sorry we are a paying customer just as much as restaurant customer

Both the lasagne and pizza was burnt on the bottom, coleslaw was not homemade and had to add tons of salt to the lasagne just to give it some taste, this is not the usual standard, disappointing

Had a delivery the driver has given my food to a total stranger in the street didn’t even knock on my door or anything and when I called to ask where it is they wouldn’t help me at all. £26 out of Pocket useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I order from these guys tonight wait for it to be delivered , it extended the delivery slot so I call them to check in then they say it was delivered 45 minutes ago. I tell them it certainly hasn’t I live alone and no one else is in the building he then enquires with his delivery driver who then tells him that there was a man in the street who he’s asked if he was waiting for a take away delivery the gent says yes and takes my order. I’ve never known a delivery driver not even attempt to knock on the delivery address door let alone give it to some random on the street now my personal details are on the receipt like my Phone number and name and when I asked what they was going to Do to help me the guy on the phone refuses to help and I ask to speak to some one higher and he says he’s the manager and puts the phone down on me .

Absolutely terrible food,bolognaise not fresh and garlic bread just looked like it had been bought from a shop !!! Totally unacceptable !! Waitress not even allowed to keep her own tips so don't leave one,had to give this 1star as zero stars was unavailable

Its a pity that the front of house is not as good as the back. With training and good manners the waitresses would improve immeasurably.

I never thought I would eat a pizza that has no salt at all, and shockingly there was no salt packed aside! The coleslaw had no salt too and was not edible tbh, I had to throw it away! The pizza was absolutely greasy to the point that my jeans were covered with grease that passed through the box all the way to my jeans and shirt!! Now I hope Vanish would wash the grease off my clothes. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I’m afraid.

Myself and my wife have been coming here for years. But either it has changed hands, or the owners have handed management over to others. Oh dear. Our previous visit wasn't to bad, but this time the food was lacking noticeably. The garlic bread tasted of bicarbonate of soda. The pizza was not great, and my wife's kebab was tough and not particularly flavoursome. Also what's difficult about water with ice and lemon or lime slices? We got lime cordial. ?????? Money wise the bill was reasonable but the quality has gone. We toyed with complaining but decided that for the money it would be better to just not bother..... Or plan on returning. I hope the original owners will return and put the food right if they are simply taking a back seat,and read this. If they have moved on, then so will we... Just disappointed. My review rating is 3/5 based on price, misplaced nostalgia and long standing loyalty to the original owners. To be blunt if I had been visiting for the first time it would have been 1/5.

In Cleethorpes on holiday and ordered from La Bella. Very quick delivery and outstanding food quality. I had meat ball calzone and my partner chicken risotto. Both were absolutely beautiful. Even the side order chips and garlic bread were lovely. Thoroughly recommend to anyone in the area

Guys, What is rong with ho give stars and good review?! There is nothing from italian food. Bella italia dusnt deserve this horrible food. All of you eat rubbish and do not understand what means good italian food!!! No italians eat here to understand this rubbish?! People are thinking they are italian chef but they can probably do just (local rubbish fish and chips) I cant bealive that exists this in 2021.

The chef didn’t read any of my notes. Put barely any garlic or tomato on my pizza. My pasta was also very dry. Won’t be ordering from here again as they can’t follow simple instructions.

We are staying up the road at haven on holiday found this little.gem. Huge prawn cocktail was like a main dinner. Meals were lovely and tender but just too big. regulars here were sharing starters and even mains. Would.have loved to have come back if holiday was longer.

Really disappointing meal really. I was expecting really nice homemade Italian food however for starter we got hot and spicy chicken wings and calamari, 4 of each and it was just oven food, also the same dip came for both, I thought they might have given a spicy tomato dip for the wings?? I thought that was a bit rubbish but was hoping the main course would be better. We both got the pollo supreme which sounds so nice on the menu, when it got here it was a small portion of tagliatelle pasta with a few chunks of gristly chicken with some cut green peppers in a creamy but bland sauce. We tried to add some salt and a generous amount of Parmesan to add a bit of flavour to it but it was overall just a disappointing meal. The bill came to £40-45, not amazing, wouldn’t return.

We visited here tonight with family from Scotland and we left disgusted with them, previously good food etc however this time yuck, my family ordered a med/well steak but it could have walked off the plate it was that raw , upon advising the owner...

Order time was an hour and 20 minutes for a few pizzas anyway. For a Tuesday night that’s already shocking. It then arrived late and the pizzas were made with cheap pizza bases - not what we were expecting.
