Called in on way back from France for my birthday present.diď not disappoint. Jorge was super helpful and swift.

Seems to have gone downhill since the last time we visited. I'm not sure if it's because we visited on a Sunday evening but things weren't up to scratch. It didn't start off well when we were told a fairly long list of items that weren't available, including things like onions and beef. When it came to order, both myself and my wife asked for things to be taken out of what we were ordering. For example, no olives and no mushrooms. Both items came with, you guessed it, olives and mushrooms. Not great.

The service person Jorge served us very courteously. After we did a membership we got a free garlic bread (rotary decided). The food was extremely fine. Was also very child friendly.

I have just had the most disgusting pasta dish. Dry no flavour, barely cooked. I would never go to this restaurant again.

Jorge was very lovely and treated us with the utmost respect and passion. You can see he is passionate about his work and he takes all of his customers experience very seriously. He deserves the world and more (or just a bottle of wine at the end of the month).

Way better than Pizza Express. Really good pizza. The Clifton zizzi is definitely the best.

Expensive for chain quality food. It was fine but nothing special at all. The people who work there were nice.

We turned up on a busy night during Balloon fiesta with a booking. We were however welcomed by Helen and with 10 mins a table for 6 found 👍! Natasha took our menu choices and was incredibly attentive to our needs. We also received extra drinks due to extended waiting time which was tremendously generous, thank you all 🙏.

Was great, can't fault it really. The waitress was considerate towards my partners nut allergy too. They put stickers on each plate to clarify it is safe, which gave us confidence. This was warmly received. The panceta carbonara was delicious, not a creamy one, a more oily variant (pictured).

Second visit for lunch this time after amazing evening meal a few months back. Superb grilled prawns, ravioli and spaghetti dishes served by very friendly staff.

Great service Max was very helpful

I have eaten at quite a few zizi restaurants. Purely for simplicity and convenience. This branch is situated in lovely Clifton Village. From the outside and front part of the restaurant it looks very nice. As a family of four with two teenagers, we were placed in the rear of the restaurant. This part look tired and dirty. The booth seats padding was non existent. Very uncomfortable. There were quite a few other familys here with screaming toddlers not the restaurants fault. But uncomfortable for others. My wifes ravioli dish came out very cool. They reheated and offered a complimentary drink. Son's meatball dish a tad stogey. My pizza was fine. The gents toilet nearly overflowed when flushed. Overall not that great a visit. Staff were pleasant but busy.

Went yesterday with my mum. Wouldn't usually pick to eat out at chains but my mum had clubcard vouchers to use. When sat down, our waiter promptly brought us over some free crisps and ask what we fancied to drink. I then ordered a pork belly dish while my mum ordered a garlic meatball pasta. Food came in a decent time and a different waiter to our main one offered to grate lots of fresh parmesean onto my mums pasta which was good. However, when i started eating, some of the food in my dish had not been cooked correctly. I let the waiter know and she brought the dish away and then brought me back a new one in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately though, the same problem happened again. Instead of getting an entirely new dish again, i just asked if she could get me a different side dish and she was very happy to do this. Further, once we had finished our mains, she offered me and my mum a dessert each on the house. I got a rasberry and white choc tirsmisu, and my mum had a choc fudge cake. Both tasty and decent portion sizes for desserts. Although the food we chose was not great, and my dish was messed up twice, the service from our waiter was really really brilliant and we appreciated the way they tried to resolve the meal for us.

Attentive and polite service all round. Had the 3 courses for £25.95 which is basically getting pudding free. Food was pretty nice and our two past mains were quite generous. Toilets and general decor perhaps needing a bit of a refresh but ok. Overall a pleasant experience.

An impromptu visit to Zizzi ( the place we were heading for was closed!). But we enjoyed our Super Zucca salad (roasted butternut squash, grains, leaves, hummus, chickpeas etc.) topped with burrata. Didn't really need a generous portion of fries each, as it was a hearty salad! Thanks to our waiter Jorge.

It was a quiet lunchtime, so it lacked atmosphere. Friendly service, okay food.

Having gone for the first time to Zizzi, It was an good experience as the service was good although they seemed to forget the toppings that go with their desserts (had to remind twice). The restaurant has a very expansive menu though we had opted for the meal option for £25, it is something I would recommend as it does add value. The mains and starters as an overall were good perhaps not the best pizza's I have had but couldn't fault the dishes. Overall, a decent experience with average food but good service. Note: Personally, there are much better italian options in Bristol than Zizzi

I would say Zizzi’s is one of the best Italian chain restaurants. The quality of the food is great, the staff are always really friendly and chatty which always makes a positive difference. The service is always quick and the atmosphere very welcoming. I can’t fault it. 🙂

The best customer service by Helen. From start to finish Helen was polite, smiley and accommodating. She delivered the best service. We have an autistic child and Helen was very understanding and made us feel comfortable with everything. We were annoyed with ourselves that we were not carrying any cash as we wanted to leave Helen a very much deserved tip.

We ordered pepperoni pizza, bur instead waitress brought us Peroni beer. I explain that mistake, she took away the drink but included it in the bill. Ok, I payed and asked to take it away then, she confirmed but didn’t bring it. I was not going to fight for the bear, so waited a bit and just went away. Crap service. But the pizza was not bad.

I wanted a GF primavera but without goats cheese, I was told I couldn’t change toppings on a GF, I had to create my own and add toppings.i then paid £18 for a margarita that had hardly any chicken and next to no artichoke. And not hot

The service is great but the restaurant looks a bit tired and lacking character. Perhaps that's to be expected with chains but I remember Zizzi being better.

Spaghetti Bolognese should be an easy dish to get right. Mine was tasteless and bland with no discernible evidence of meat. Basically a bowl of pasta with a very light tomato coloured sauce. Lots of pepper and chilli oil helped a little but I was too hungry not to eat it. Waiter (Michal?) was great. Toilets could do with a clean. Wish I had gone to The Ivy just up the street.

Solid 4 star experience. The restaurant was mostly empty but we had great service. With a very expansive menu, I opted towards the rustic "Meat Sofia" pizza, as I saw a large pizza oven in the Kitchen. It was nice but not anything special. For a chain it was an overall good experience! Probably won't be going back though.

Went with friends on a Sunday lunchtime. The service was excellent and we weren't pressured into ordering quickly and we're able to keep our table for three hours. The food was ok but far too much quantity over quality which is a shame. I had the cheese fundue style starter which came with far too much bread and was so rich. Less is more! The sea bass main course was tasty but again far too many potatoes.

Great service and friendly staff, the sticky pig half and half pizza was really good. Brushetta was a bit soggy but deserts were good. Gets busy and a little pricy for what it is, but it won't disappoint. Will def re visit when in the village again.

Really disappointing meal. Not generous and not particularly nice food served in a room devoid of atmosphere. The comings and goings of scooter delivery drivers made it feel more like eating bland food in a post office than an Italian restaurant.

There is a shortage of restaurants serving Sunday dinner. This was one of the few. The staff were excellent, finding us a table and being attentive. The place was nice too, if a bit rundown - tape over the splits in the plastic-covered 'sofas,' for instance. The food was disappointingly tasteless. Still, we got dinner...

Great service and the best salad I've had in years!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the staff were incredibly attentive. It was clear that the team work exceedingly well together. Our server was very eloquent, and was on the ball, making sure we received the best service possible. Will definitely recommend this restaurant. Made our dinner a joyous occasion, will be back soon.

OMG. My family and I had the loveliest experience on Monday evening. Our waiter (the tall one with curly hair - I think his name was Max?) recommended the pollo picante - my daughter loved it! It really ended our visit to Bristol on a positive note! We will be returning next time we are in the area!
