Driver left pizza express to then do more pickups. By the time our food arrived with us it was stone cold

The worst Pizza Express food we’ve ever had. All pizzas lacking in cheese and toppings and overly dry. weve had better supermarket pizzas. The egg yolk on mine was solid!

Probaly the worse pizza I eat don’t ignore the reviews like I did

This was our first visit to this restaurant.It was clean, bright and cheerful inside. The new menu items were very appealing and I enjoyed the Mac n Cheese. The service was excellent too.

Great pizza and amazing Gluten Free Dough Balls my fiancé says. I though they were good too almost like normal ones 😀

Very disappointed with our trip to Bristol Harbourside Pizza Express. Left for 10 minutes before even a drinks order was taken, then it was assumed that our starters were our mains when the waiter asked if we wanted desserts. Upon speaking to the manager at the time, she said they were extremely busy, but other tables in our area were being waited upon and we were simply neglected. Sad to say we won’t be eating here again.

My order was never delivered, and the delivery time was continuously pushed back over the course of 3 hours.

Pizza was a bit over done and also a bit cold… which was a shame. Service was wonderful though.

Went here for team Xmas Lunch, it was great. The staff were courteous, efficient, and accurate (Considering there were 20 of us, not a single order was wrong or forgotten). I'll defo be recommending this place in future. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Garlic butter missing from dough balls so too dry and tasteless. Ordered 2 pizzas with different toppings but when they arrived they were identical

this is the first time I've ordered from here, as it was just 2mins up the road from me, I thought it would arrive quite quickly. but NO , it said arrival time time 20 to 25 mins, it was over an hour before are deliverdelivery turned up. then on top of that, the pizza was stone cold, as we're the dough balls, the chips if that's what you call them, we're Luke warm. I am absolutely appalled at everything to do with this company/order time/ how are food was delivered. never never again.

We ordered at 6:45 with an estimated delivery time of 7:20-7:30, it then didn’t arrive until 8:30, and was cold

Warm welcome. Friendly service. Quick delivery of food. Amazing quality of food. Lovely atmosphere. Celebrating a graduation and our server Holly was so lovely and interested which made our experience extra special. Chicken Parmigina was a 10/10. BBQ Burnt ends pizza was so flavourful. La Reine pizza 10/10. Shared the Classic Wreath Snowball Doughballs - perfect for sharing with 3 people. Overall excellent experience. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!

The pasta I ordered was sub par, tasting nice but nothing special with little extras. However, the pizza my boyfriend ordered was lovely. The waitresses were polite and friendly but the air-conditioning made the place very cold which was turned on at 5 on a weekday.

Fast efficient service. The staff were bright, warm and attentive. Kids were more than happy which was important.

I came in with three children and the staff bent over backwards to make sure I could take advantage of the offers available which I couldn’t initially because my children were too young to have a phone and download the app. Great customer service!

Order never arrived - phoned restaurant and they said it was on its way but never came and no longer gave an estimated delivery time.

The food was as good as always and was piping hot, which was great given the distance it needed to travel to us.

The pizza was the best thing - that was ok, the dough balls were so flat - like little discs, and the kids pasta had way too much sauce - the kids didn't eat it. I should have sent it back but I'm too British 🙄😂 Staff were good, but then for about 25 mins they were down to one waiter, who also seemed to go on a break for a while...

For some reason Pizza Express seems to be going out of fashion but we came for lunch on a Saturday and were very happy with our pizzas and the service. This £1 pizza deal they're doing at the moment is great😊

10 of us went for a dinner at pizza express and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend for a large crowd. Pizzas are amazing here. Would recommend Smoky BBQ chicken pizza and padang for vegetarians. The service was excellent. Perfect for students.

Normal Pizza Express food but shocking service. Half full restaurant but had to walk over to counter to attract attention on 3 occasions. Didn’t bring drinks that we ordered. 1 pizza out of our 4 arrived 10 minutes before the others. Terrible service.

A big 0 stars to the rude waiter who said there were tables available in the basically empty restaurant at 6.15pm on Friday 2 August. I didn’t get a photo of inside but it was practically empty. Super rude service!

Awesome service today. The staff were totally up against it with a faulty boiler, but were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They fixed the issue and were able to start to welcome guests again, and every member of staff was just brilliant. Great service, great food, and great with our kids. We never really eat at chains as there never really appears to be this kind of vibe, but these guys proved us completely wrong. Straight up brilliant service. Thank you.

Great place near the Harbourside to get a decent pizza or pasta dish. Food is consistently great and service is good. A better choice of beers would be nice (and keener prices for the drinks). Don't forget to use vouchers from Pizza Express and or Tesco etc to get great savings on food.

Lovely clean, bright and very friendly pizza express. However, the food was a real let down. We shared a duo Romano style pizza, half bbq chicken, the other half spicey guiseppe; pizza base barely cooked and very mean with the toppings. We also shared a vanilla cheesecake which was okay but not worth £7.45. Server and service was good but overall poor food and not good value.

Bbq smoked chicken was too sweet.

Sat us at a very awkward table, did not offer us a children's menu or crayons for our child even though other families had them, NO ONE served us at all; no drink order was taken, no food order was taken. We waited 15 minutes. When I spoke to the shift runner or manager, all they said was, "I am sorry," and didn't bother to make amends. We walked out with no food. If I could give minus stars, I would.

Excellent service the lady serving was practically on her own though the manager did get involved so well done to both as there were quite a few tables and very well done to the chef who was on his own. I always wonder what they would do if a coach load of tourists dropped in unannounced? The food was good and tasty but the pizza was so small. £15 for a small pizza is too much they are not expensive to make even in current climate. Nevertheless we had a good experience and would definitely go back again. My client enjoyed his lasagne too.

Good service, food a bit disappointing. My daughter has a serious dairy allergy and the waitress was pretty good with this but we did have to ask her to double check a few things that she had already brought to the table, for example an ice-cream cone that formed part of my daughter's dessert. She served it without being sure it was dairy free, which is a bit worrying. My pizza was OK but my calamari starter wasn't great at all. It had some stringy elastic bits on the calamari rings which seemed like elastic bands but were probably some kind of skin. Very unpleasant, whatever they were. The kids' dough balls were pathetically undersized and the tiny amount of hummus they were given was laughable. Not a cheap lunch and I won't be rushing back.

We came here for a quick bite before a concert on Monday evening and was served by Joana. She was absolutely brilliant, our order was taken promptly and the service she provided really made our meal. Fab food too 😋 thank you so much Joana!

Food was largely tasteless and massively overpriced. Waitress requires more training in customer service - her delivery of the bill was just rude. Music was unnecessary and far too loud. Toilets - male and female were absolutely filthy. Generally a below average experience and won't be recommending.

Arrived early evening and saw it wasn’t busy so assumed service would be good. The opposite was true. After putting in our order and waiting 45 minutes we realised that the chefs were spending all their time filling boxes for Deliveroo and not paying any attention to the orders from the restaurant itself. Lots of people sitting with no food for a very long time. The waitress was lovely and very apologetic, waiving the cost of my pizza but it was obvious that this once brilliant restaurant (to which we have been many times) is now prioritising its delivery business over paying customers. Such a shame and very shortsighted, as when customers are treated in such a way they are unlikely to return.

Went for dinner with colleagues, and we all had a wonderful time. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was fantastic! We precooked the table that is highly recommended if you are coming with a larger group, especially over the weekend. The manue of this pizza express offered a wide range of pizzas, backed dishes, salads, and sides. I ordered a pizza with chucken, onions, and red sweet peppers. The combination was so unique and different compared with that from any high sheet pizzeria, I totally loved it. I will definitely reorder the smae pizza on my next visit. As far as the size of the pizza is concerned, it was around 14" thin crust authentic Italian. I normally easily finish the same sized pizza, but I had to share it with my colleagues since I couldn't eat it all myself. I paid about £21 for the pizza and a bottle of diet sprite, which was quite reasonable for the location and the peak time. The bill included 12% service charge by defaul - to be shared as tip among the staff, so I didn't pay extra. Everyone in the team was polite and very helpful when it came to changing to a bigger table due to an unexpectedly higher count from our side. They even moved our food to the bigger table, which was really nice. In general, a restaurant staff look frustrated and disengaged, but wasn't the case in this restaurant.

We decided to go here for our valentines meal however for the price we paid the food and service didn’t live up to the prices. We ordered a starter which arrived fairly promptly and service was great with this. For our main we ordered the baked pasta dish each and a shared pizza. We were handed the pasta and asked if we liked any of the condiments of which we replied yes to pepper and the waiter said I’ll bring it but waited for like 4/5 mins and nothing. We could see our pizza was there on the side ready also to be brought to the table and it took them another 10 mins of it sat on the side before - I was able to get hold of waiter to get it brought to our table / by this time the pizza was barely warm. The restaurant has a very noisy atmosphere too where sound just bounces off the walls and you are unable to even hear the background music let alone my partner opposite me. (This restaurant wants acoustics testing) as the decibels are fairly loud! Other than this the food itself taste wise was good but not worth the money paid. The one thing I would like to appraise is that they are accommodating for people with allergies.

I have a long history with Pizza Express, having worked for them in my student years 35-40 years ago. Having lived overseas for quite a while now, I was looking forward to my first Pizza Express meal in over 15 years! The menu itself was the first let-down… with only a few of the ‘classics’ left, and relegated to a corner of the large page. I decide to try a non-classic, the rectangular pizza (Calabrese?)… only one word seems appropriate: terrible! Any taste of freshness is totally smothered by sour and synthetic pastes… a green paste and red paste… presumably pesto and (maybe?) sun dried tomatoes? Unfortunately the flavour of these pastes bear no resemblance to their real counterparts… truly awful, I’d rather lick the pavements of Chernobyl than try this again. My eating partner, a lover of the original American Hot was less disappointed, but not pleased… the hot green peppers of yore are now replaced by more fashionable jalapeños… pity. The melted cheese looked ‘cheap’ and oily, and both had lacklustre sad dough. I feel like Pizza Express has now joined the ranks of Domino’s and Pizza Hut. Service was good and friendly.
