the food was nice but not incredible and portions were on the small side. The waitress wasn't very friendly. The restaurant was empty because it was a Sunday evening and there was zero ambience

This was very poor in my opinion, I've had a bad belly from the seafood pasta which I did not eat much of , cheap overpriced wine ,cold plates and a ridiculous demand for a service charge ..This is best avoided until they improve the hygiene rating and the standard of the food and wine , shame because it looks enticing from the outside pleasant enough staff but smacks of a culinary grift.Not popular with locals

A fantastic restaurant, it’s so easy to walk past places like this and not realise how great they are! if in the area it’s a must try place, the food is truly excellent, and very generous portions. the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and are there whenever you need them. everything about this place exceeded our expectations!

Loved this restaurant! The food was delicious. Especially the Puttanesca pasta and the bruschetta. They both tasted super fresh and delicious! The service was also excellent and the decor was lovely.

Well, there are many other more welcoming restaurants, much nicer areas in London with better food! No interest...

I came in Sunday and the food was amazing the atmosphere was perfect the speed of the food coming out was incredibly fast, waiters were very nice and fast too, highly recommend one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to for sure.

We came to eat on a Sunday evening. We ordered 3 starters, fruit squid (frozen and inedible but free of charge), aranchinis (frozen on a sour salad) and brucchetas mozza parma ham (bread soaked in mozza milk...). Apart from the very friendly and commercial waiter. The kitchen is terrible. We wasted our time and money.

Read if you're celiac/gluten free! I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I told the waitress I am celiac and I wanted to make sure they knew. I ordered the risotto with mushrooms and the waitress told me, no worries risotto is gluten free. I know that is usually the case but I told her regardless, just in case there was something in the sauce. The risotto was very good and the portion was huge, but when I got back home I started feeling sick. I recognize the symptoms, and I'm sure it's because of gluten, so I checked the menu online and they mention "Parmesan cheese sauce" in the risotto, which is made with flour. Luckily my symptoms are relatively mild, but there are some people who will have much worse reactions, so please make sure you list the allergens clearly or make sure there is actually no gluten when you say there isn't. EDIT: I appreciate the owner responding so quickly, however I can assure you I didn't have anything before going to the restaurant. I had eaten at home for lunch at 12, also the reaction doesn't take too long to start after a meal. Maybe there was heavy cross contamination (although cross contamination is not a problem for me), I don't know, however it's a fact that I felt sick, and the only reason I wrote this review is to make sure the restaurant is more thorough and people are more wary, that's all.

Great staff - choice of home made desserts could be better

Nothing to say about the setting and the cleanliness of the place, but the portions served are small for the price paid (to which we must add around 12% service). We asked for parmesan to put on our gnocchi, the waitress came and poured a spoonful of parmesan per plate and left without even leaving the pot. We are very far from the warm atmosphere of an authentic Italian restaurant.

Myself and my partner visited tonight, we had a fantastic time together. The food was freshly prepared and the service was prompt and outstanding. I would recommend to a friend.

Had the lasagne, it was very obviously microwaved as there were no grilled areas on the cheese on top, which was sliding down into the sauce, it was swimming in sauce which was bubbling around the edges..that, and the garlic bread with mozzarella were both tasteless, seasoned with salt and pepper , but still no taste.... Such a shame, I was looking forward to some good genuine Italian food 😔..

Randomly stumbled upon this restaurant near King's Cross station. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to have a pleasant dinner with excellent Italian cuisine and the company of friendly and efficient staff. I will definitely come back.

The food is absolutely terrible. 17 pounds for a gnocchi gorgonzola which tasted like nothing and the funghi chicken was hard, chewy and not even properly cooked.

We visited this very cozy restaurant. The name attracted us when we thought of an Italian menu and in fact we were particularly satisfied with the delicious food, excellent service and atmosphere. We will return every time we go to London for work.

We went to Mediterraneo and had an incredible experience! The food was delicious, with very well-prepared dishes and amazing desserts. The pasta, in particular, was cooked to perfection, reflecting the care and technique in the kitchen. The service was impeccable. The person who attended to us was very attentive, always willing to talk about the dishes, offer great drink suggestions, and ensure we had a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for those looking for a special dining experience. We were very satisfied. Highly recommended!

This is my third visit to this restaurant and, on this occasion, I was confident enough to recommend it to two work colleagues. It didn't disappoint and they even considered going back again the next evening. The decor is typically Mediterranean, as you would expect, and with a good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a good selection on the menu with all of the expected popular dishes. The food arrived quite quickly and all three of our meals were both delicious and of sufficient portion size. The price was as expected for the area but not excessive. I have only ever eaten here mid week and have been able to walk in each time without booking. It deserves to be more popular. It's location is on Kings Cross Road but a little out of sight of the station but it is well worth the short walk to seek it out.

Poi anche il dopo è stato molto piacevole. Ho preso la bruschetta al pomodoro e le penne con salmone, tutto molto buono e come dolce molto particolare “ La raviolina”. Lo consiglio vivamente

Had a lovely Friday evening meal, delicious garlic bread with mozzarella to start and the pasta main courses were delightful, very well cooked, flavourful, and generous portions. The restaurant inside is beautiful and cosy and we felt very welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend and will visit again next time we're in the area!

There's a great atmosphere in this cosy little restaurant. Although packed out, the service was still really friendly and attentive. We had three courses with wine and it was all delicious. In fact, it was an effort to leave at the end!

We had our work christmas dinner at Mediterraneo and had a brilliant evening. Tony and the whole team there were very welcoming and made sure there was a great atmosphere the whole evening. They were very flexible, giving us plenty of options of how to arrange the food and ordering, and accomodating of all our last minute changes to numbers and catering options! The food was fantastic, really tasty with great portion sizes. Great wine and a very tasy espresso martini too! Cannot recommend Mediterraneo more for either a small dinner or a big group meal, thank you to the whole team for making our evening so special.

Tenía tantas ganas de comer aquí, parecía absolutamente precioso por dentro muy acogedor y acogedor. El personal era muy agradable. Su filete que pidió medio raro vino bien hecho. Declaraba solomillo pero no es como cualquier solomillo que hayamos visto antes. La salsa estaba muy movida y en general toda la comida fue simplemente decepcionante. Las fichas fueron retiradas de la factura, pero eso fue todo. Creo que también se añadió un cargo por servicio sin que nos dieran cuenta. El vino, sin embargo, era aparentemente increíble. Qué pena por un restaurante tan bonito.

From the outside the place looked closed, but inside the place had a nice Mediterranean vibe. Didn't feel particularly welcome, but the pizza was great, especially the crust and the tomato sauce.

The Italian-style restaurant is located a few blocks from King Cross station and the hotel where it stopped. We were looking for a pub but due to lack of space we opted for this option where there were still tables available. A waiter greeted us warmly and seated us at the table. A pleasant atmosphere, with beautiful decoration according to the origins and very attentive staff. It has a menu that we liked since in addition to pizza and pasta, as many restaurants limit themselves, it offered other options without going beyond Italian. We found the food to be of very good quality and you could tell that all of its ingredients were homemade. Furthermore, the relationship with the price was more than correct. Who I understand is the owner, she was also always very attentive and helpful, being attentive to any request. I definitely recommend it and would return to try other options.

Great service and friendly staff. Tried the pasta for the first time and the seafood pasta was tasty. The chocolate desert was exquisite. Wish we receive a complimentary limoncello like we used to and this has stopped now and we are regular clients.

Me and my partner have been coming to London for the past 4 years we found this restaurant on the off chance it is the best restaurant I have ever been to the food is so nice me and my partner eat well traveled and have had food all over the world yet I find myself coming back to London to eat here ,the staff are so friendly, the restaurant is clean and like I said the food is above amazing , I recommend any one to come hear as the exspiriance will not be disappointing

Restaurant near our hotel so popped in on the off change there would be a table. There was. Prompt service. Delicious meal. Lovely atmosphere. I left my glasses there and they posted them back to me. Great customer service. Very impressed.

We both enjoyed the atmosphere which had gentle music in background and lovely staff. We sat outside where there was a nice glass screen with planters full of geraniums to give privacy from pedestrians. The second night was cooler so we sat inside which was clean and had large glass windows. Both nights we tried pasta and risotto dishes with side salad. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The Raviolina dessert was delicious and must be tried otherwise you have missed a real treat!!
