On March 5th, I went out for dinner with my friends. The manager seated us and gave us the menus, but we were left waiting for about 15-20 minutes. My friend tried to get his attention to ask for some water so he could take his pills. When the manager finally came over, the first thing he said was, “If you guys are going to be rude, you will have to leave.” We were all confused about why he said that and started asking him what we had done wrong. However, he insisted, “You guys need to leave.” We apologized and left, even though we didn’t understand what had bothered him. The only thing we could think of was that we were the only non-white people in the restaurant. We will never go back.

Food is always delicious, delivery guys don’t seem to be too cheerful though.

Naomi was great. She was friendly and attentive and we didn't have to wait for anything at any point.

We came here for my partner's birthday on a Saturday night without a booking. A male staff greeted us at the door with a smile and said there will be a 40min wait which wasn't an issue for us, we sat and waited for 10mins and he managed to sort us a table right away. We ordered plenty of food! Which all came fast and fresh, this was my partner's first time in Zizzi's and he loved the Lasagne and the Sticky Pig Pizza. I go to this Zizzi's all the time, as staff has always been brilliant. We asked for it all to come in one go; kids meals, starters, sides and mains. Which they managed to, all warm. We ordered 4x mocktails, two were for the kids which the male staff who has greeted us at the door thoughtfully moved the kids' mocktail to plastic tumblers so prevent spillages. Unfortunately, it was me who managed to spill a mocktail. I was so embarassed and am very sorry. They kindly replaced it with a fresh one with no hesitations. Whilst paying the bill, the male staff asked if we had other plans for the evening. We said we're off to play bowling next door as it's my partner's birthday, and he kindly offered a drink to celebrate. We politely refused but are very grateful for the offer and the thoughtfulness! Amazing staff + fresh and fast food!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Food arrived quickly. Fresh and hot. Staff were pleasant and helpful. My only gripe is that the kids menu is quite limited. But we would still come again, just without children.

Great food and lovely staff even though it was very busy. They were so helpful.

The food was not bad, but not really good. The pizza was SO THIN never ever seen anything that thin in italy just tasted like pollenta crisp with pizza topping, but as we were about to leave i notised that other peoples pizza looked more normal, i asked if you had to request a certain thickness, waiter said tge cheff had changed, so id say there is a inconsistency to the pizzas, waited a long time to get the bill, no option for dairy free coffee. We did eat the food but i could deff have found a better one in stockport market

Just had a lovely meal here for lunch - set menu was good value and generous portion size. Our server Sam was excellent and very friendly and attentive. Starters in particular were lovely.

Visited Zizzi today after shopping at the Peel Center. We'd had a meal elsewhere, but my friend insisted on going to Zizzi's for a cake ( Bluberry cheesecake - which comes with ice cream................. Looked and tasted Deeeee lish! The decor and atmosphere are amazing. Sam (The Main-Man) was an excellent host- he was soooo friendly and attentive to his customers. I will definitely recommend Zizzi's to my family and friends. Save me a table.......I'll be back! Thank you

inside was absolutely beautiful hence to why we wanted to try it out 🙌 service was also so lovely 🩷 However I have never had a spaghetti bolognese so disgusting in my whole life, same for my boyfriend . People next to us had pizza and it looked way better but Even the spag bol came out looking great however it was just chopped tomatoes with spaghetti and really lacked flavour . I was really disappointed with our food because its not all the time we will come out to eat & it really did ruin our night 😂but giving it back and complaining just isn’t me . My anxiety screams noooo😩I wouldn’t come again anytime soon 🙌

Sam was great , there was just 2 serving, and he did well, the only thing wrong has we had some bread that was not cooked in the middle, but the meals were nice

We visited Zizzi Stockport for my daughter’s 4th Birthday. We had a big group. 9 kids plus parents. The staff took great care of us. Especially our Waitress Naomi.

The food was good and the service great, it was my daughters 18th birthday and she had a birthday card on the table plus they gave her a free desert which was really lovely of them The place was absolutely freezing though and there were people sat eating wearing hats and scarves! The table for the 4 of us was tiny, it was a table meant for two people with 4 chairs round - it wasn’t busy and there were plenty of other larger tables free plus we had booked in advance so I was a little puzzled why they chose to squish us together. So although the food was good, the uncomfortable surroundings spoilt it really. We were squished on a tiny table with big winter coats on.

I ordered courgette and received chips.

The food was very nice and I enjoyed the pizza very well, although the puddings was slightly disappointing as the brownie had a unusual taste and the brownie in the ice cream was hard, the cheesecake was Very nice although didn't look like the picture, the service is very good and food came quickly

The Super Zucca Salad Roasted only had butternut squash, salad leaves, and balsamic! It was missing goat's cheese, mint, courgette, lentils, and green beans. Very pricey for what I got - annoyingly disapointing.

The poorest of Service? After talking to the manager today and appreciating her commitment and hard work. I realise this is just another company in 2024 that do not have enough staff to cater for their customers, for whatever reason, low pay, unreliable staff, poor conditions, I don't know, but managers cannot fulfil their role with out a full team of staff. I appreciate and applaud this manager for her excellent customer service to resolve the poor service we experienced. The food here is good, no question, the Prawn starter was amazing x Thank you for your understanding of your customers x

My walking club did a tour of Stockport then 30 of us went for lunch at Zizzi Stockport. The food was fantastic and the service was incredible. Our sincere thanks to all the staff who were absolutely brilliant.

Recently had our works Xmas do here. The food was amazing. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff too. My partner became unwell and felt very faint. The young girl who was serving us couldn't do enough for us. She brought him some water and even called first aiders in just incase. Luckily they weren't needed. I can't thank the staff enough. What a great night! Would definitely go here again .

We visited zizzis for my daughter's special 18th family meal with a group of 13 in total we was greeted and served throughout by natasha she went above and beyond to make each of us feel welcome she was very assertive polite and bubbly food was out in no time no delays we all ate together and the drinks was flowing ☺️🥂🎈 we didnt have to wait around for service she actually made the day extra special what an absolute credit to the company! Food was delicious exspecially the carbonara my personal fave thanks to all staff on shift that day for such a lovely evening and thanks to natasha for going above and beyond she even suprised us with a complimentary meal for both me and the birthday girl! Beyond everyday politeness, little moments to impress your customers can promote long-term loyalty well done zizzis we will definitely be returning soon ☺️❤️

Nice atmosphere, interesting design, good food but service remains to be better. If you want a quiet, relaxing place where you could talk in peace, probably it'd be wise to choose somewhere else, less noisy and busy

Water logged food on delivery. Apparently take away food isn't prepped the same as restaurant food according to staff today...... No kidding..you couldn't place this in front of someone and say enjoy your meal. Totally inedible. Not prepped the same yet charges the same, go figure. Edit... After reply from Zizzi. Wow look at that a personalised response back.....oh look again. No it isn't, just a generic response from a corporation. Incidentally....I didn't get all me money back for that water logged lasagne. Deliveroo kept back £5 for that one item. Just another reason not to use Zizzi via any delivery methods. Last time I use this place for sure

Staff friendly and welcoming,good food

Slightly disappointing. Ordered pan fried salmon and avocado salad with courgetti fries. Salmon delicious, salad leaves and tomatoes were spot on (lots of leaves and good amount of tomatoes). Avocado was 3 pieces felt less than a quarter. Fries were over cooked and tiny pieces. I have ordered before and it's been much better.

Well I am back in here again (now actually)... not particularly busy, so God knows how they cope when it actually is ? ... We are currently looking around for staff 🤔..... Arrived about an hour ago, to be told that certain products weren't available due to no cheese sauce ? ... although he couldn't confirm which products were or weren't available ??? .... He did tell us that this was a regular occurence on a Tuesday ? ... but why ? ..if this happens all the time (after a weekend )? ... We ordered our food, which to be fair, was very good, and served in time, but I had to move our own plates to another table, as no-one cleared ours, and then after my partner had returned from the bathroom, we still had to go and chase staff to order the dessert ??. .....anyway, dessert has just arrived, and it is wrong ? (fair enough, we all make mistakes and she was nice)... but, really ?? Well, the 'warm lemon meringue cookie' has just arrived.... maybe this is supposed to be like this, but not to her taste ?? Overall frustrating and disappointing x ...also big oily greasy smell ?

Aneta was such a lovely host for us this evening, she was attentive, kind, and gracious. We had an amazing meal for our date night. Would 100% come again!

One of the worst pizzas I have ever had, pizza's were rock hard, no flavor, the pizza was cold like it was made yesterday and just left there, I don't understand how this place has 4 stars review, I had to throw all the food in the bin, where it belongs.

Not the best, it was a quiet evening. Our food was sat on the side (not under a hot light) whilst the chef and I’m guessing manager just had a causal chit chat. Same manager was rude to us when we told him our food was cold, so we paid via the app and left.

Food was ok, staff were nice apart 1, being rude to customers and then the other staff was trying to run around and do damage control, such a shame for the others.

Disaster from start to finish. Not only did we not get greeted and had to choose our own table upon arrival in an empty restaurant on a Sunday, we waited 20 minutes for drinks until I took it upon myself to ask the waitress, who was lovely. However the waitress who initially took the drink order left the premises, I presume she finished her shift, and thus this was not forwarded onto any other staff member. When the food came, I had to ask for cutlery, which arrived with no napkin, and then I had to get up and find someone for salt and pepper. After the meal, which when taken away was not asked by the gentleman if everything was ok, we had to wait over ten minutes as the card machines weren’t working. As somsone who has previously been a manager in hospitality both in the UK and overseas, I was shocked, this was probably my worst dining experience. I understand Zizzi’ is a chain, nonetheless one should not have to chase up their drinks, food, cutlery and bill. Ingredients such as pasta and spinach were out so we were asked what replacements we wanted as opposed to being recommended. When the waitress asked if everything was ok, I said it wasn’t great we had to chase everything up and even with that nothing was even offered to be taken off the bill. Instead when our drinks finally came they were accompanied with stale pasta fries. Apart from the lovely girl that served us there was no apology from the manager and because we had to wait for their card machine to work we were late for our film. Food was also very mediocre, inevitably I won’t be returning.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, quick service and tasty food. I loved the meatless meatballs and the vegan pomodoro. All served quickly, fresh and hot! Tasted delicious too. As a vegan there were lots of different options on the menu too.

Usually I love Zizzi and I do still like their food. However don't get the take out. I ordered a salad nearly £15 and while it was ok. Look at the size, are they joking?! I've had bigger side salads.

Ive been served by ZIZZI team beyond what i have been expected, they give recommendations towards your desired with out seeking up to the price like other restaurant’s team do. Thanks Aneta for the Sea Bass recommendation and it was with the exact potato that i was looking for.

Great menu, tasty food and reasonably priced. Service was excellent.

The food wasn’t too bad service was fairly good. My one complaint was that I needed the loo but was told that it was out of order 😳 I’m not too sure if they have a toilet upstairs but I couldn’t have made it upstairs anyway.
