Pizza Express in Stockport

Great location. Great service. Unfortunately the pizza I had was not that good. The coffee espresso we had after the meal was just warm water slightly dark!? I think pizza's prices should be a bit lower.

The food was amazing. We were served by Veronica, and she made our dining experience an absolute pleasure. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

I've just had my new favorite pizza!!... A Bruno They described it as A winning combination. Blue cheese, red onion chutney, tomato, mozzarella, all topped with fresh rocket, Parma ham and Gran Milano cheese And I would call it pizza perfection. The service here was fantastic. The staff really helped (and encouraged) using the app to find the best discount I've always loved Pizza Express, but the prices generally ruin the experience. Not today 19 quid pizza for just a tenner thanks to the offers and the staff. Really impressed Thank you

Incredibly poor service. Just couldn’t get a simple order right, took 45 mins and the manageress appeared completely disinterested, just wasn’t bothered in the slightest. Something not right there

Pizzas are great quality but have not been sliced all the way through, so all the cheese came off when trying to separate the first slice. This has happened before to a lesser extent, so quite disappointing you have a good product but the simple stuff is done so carelessly.

We waited 45min for one pizza and they forgot our dough balls… waited further 10min for the dough balls which arrived burnt! we almost missed our cinema booking :/ we won't be returning here again.

Pizza was cold, toppings had slid off pizza and hardly any meat. Halloumi bites were also cold. Could not eat it.

I have been yesterday with my brother and his gf and we have order pizza didn't make any sense on that menu however I wanted one of the pizza takeaway and I think the girs with a pink shirt was the manager and I asked her if we can takeaway she said she will bring a box which she did with no helping me pack the pizza she left, on front of us was another group of people which they asked the same thing and they got help to packing their own food I don't know if was something to do with what I was wearing because I just finished work but I definitely think I won't go back there very rude

Don’t usually leave reviews, but the service at this pizza express was exceptional. Met a friend for a reunion on Thursday evening and we were served throughout by Natasha who was not only professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, but also doesn’t make someone with a serious allergy feel awkward like in many restaurants. She was super reassuring with regards to food prep and cross contamination management and great to talk to after our meal as well. We enjoyed our food and would definitely come back to this branch again

Mother and Daughter lunch, greeted and seated by Rachel, I don't normally leave reviews but she was so friendly and efficient that we both commented on her when she had taken our order. Pizza Express you have a great team member in Rachel. Food was really good too. Would recommend.

No atmosphere what so ever! No music, and staff were rude when we entered. We sat down and they rushed us to order as soon as we got the menus. We said how do we work out the bill as we need to split it and the waitress replied "sort it out yourself" and a weird look.

I have emailed pizza express and they have said I need to contact you and not them direct. When the food arrived it was cold and inedible, to the point me and my daughter had toast for tea as takeout is a treat for us and not ordered very often. The cheese bites were also cold and inedible I could only eat one and threw the rest away. I should’ve just thrown money in the bin

The 5 of us went for an evening meal on Saturday. It was so busy and crowded, full of kids. It was a bit like a Macdonald with Waiters. We couldn’t really hear each other when we talked. A waiter with glasses on was a bit rude. The moment we sat down, he asked what we wanted to drink. We politely said we were not ready to order. 2 minutes later he turned up again asking what we wanted to drink, unfortunately we were still not ready. Maybe another 3 minutes we finally got our old parents and young daughter to decide what they wanted to eat and drink. We waved at the waiter and he just kept ignoring us, absolutely not dealing with us again like we were poisonous.

If you want Savoy London service at Pizza Express prices then you need to take a trip here. Our Waiter James was absolutley outstanding and went over and above to make our celebratory dinner out shine! I just had to come on here and share our thoughts with the world and hopefully the board at Pizza Express, James (and Sarbrina are credits to your organisation. 7 out of 5 stars!!!!! Despite Mr Andrew’s liking for pizza express I do still enjoy their pizzas. I am unfortunately concerned that they are now exclusively catering for a younger generation of people visiting here. The reason I say this is I believe the portion sizes are getting smaller, perhaps to cater to smaller bellies? I had the nduja calzone and I have had this previously and this size is far smaller than I have previously had from here. How unfortunate.

Hello there. Me and the boys went for a Tuesday night tea and we are very pleased. The sloppy guiseppi was great and the florentina was eggy. The toilets were satisfactory and the woman that served us was nice. The tap water was watery and cold. Just a bit of advice. On the app, you cannot use an offer and an award at the same time. This wasn’t very obvious and this should be said before you order. Apart from this, it was very schnoz.

Very happy with our meal, experience and above all service on Sat night at Stockport. James C always goes above and beyond and it was a pleasure to see him again.

We visited today with our daughter and 4 of her friends for her birthday meal. We had a great time! We called in earlier to see if they could take our cake and balloons while we were bowling and they happily obliged. When we came for our reservation the table was all ready with kids crayons, play sheets and our balloons and party bags. I was really impressed. There was even a Birthday card from Pizza Express to our daughter! Cute! The food was great and the service was even better. Really helpful and friendly. I’d recommend this place to anyone! Pizza Express has lost its top place in the pizza world but this is still a decent branch. It made for a great hangover cure with its early opening times. *Visited again and it was excellent. The pizzas were on point!

Don’t normally write reviews but I was really impressed and my 9 year old said I needed to write a review so here I am. The food was spot on and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. We went for my daughters birthday and she polished off her first adult sized pizza. She said it was soo good she even ate the crusts. Special shout out to James who was not only lovely but saw that it was my daughters birthday and gave her a little cake and a candle - a really nice touch which she loved.

Great service from lovely staff each of the times I've visited, food is pretty consistent with what you'd expect from a Pizza Express. Atmosphere is good even during the day when it's not so busy. I would recommend signing up for the app since it can make repeat visits even more affordable (not a paid advertisement I swear, I got 50% off my pizza last time through the app!!!)

Just can’t express how amazing Rachel and her team were today for a bday party for my son . The kids really enjoyed it and said how amazing the chef was that helped out. A little bit of fun and was sad to leave when the time was over. The food was delicious and can’t highest recommend. Fabulous work!! Keep up 😁

A lovely post cinema lunch - James our waiter was very attentive to our table and was very friendly + helpful! James even made sure we got our free cook book reward from the app, which was a great bonus! The starters and pizza were very fresh and this visit was probably one of the best pizza express experiences we have had!

Visited today with my husband and 2 daughters. All about the service. James is potentially the best waiter in any restaurant we have visited. Super efficient, friendly, and attentive. Totally makes the experience. Food is always a good standard, but it's the service that makes us come here ( in addition to the tesco vouchers). We are in the middle of about 3 pizza express' in terms of distance but this waiter is the reason we choose Redrock.

Best Pizza Express I’ve been to, jolly staff ready to have an in depth conversation with you and a laugh. Food delivered quick and tasty. Staff are very understanding and funny. Food tasted better than my usual, preferred pizza express (and it takes a lot to beat). Perfect atmosphere with people but not too many. You could book like me but if you go during school days and hours. Only problem is the gluten free dough balls were late on delivery.

The pizza was a gluten free base, there was just the tomato base with one small sprinkle of cheese and probably about 3-5 slices of pepperoni! Didn't look very appealing and tasted as bad as it looked. The whole point of pizza is the cheese and the topping Really disappointing. Service is good and I would say food is just ok. I have no idea how pizza express can even try and justify the prices for the starters and pizzas. It would be ok if the pizzas were really good, but they’re not. Very bland in my opinion.
