The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

i decided to try the parmo, one of the best parmo's I've ever had, I ordered the meat feast but asked to have olives added on which they did for me, it was piping hot and all good quality ingredients, big fresh chunky chips and nice fresh salad, it was gorgeous, my partner had the mixed shwarma plate and said the same thing, piping hot and all good ingredients, this is our third time using this place over the last few weeks and will be ordering from here more often , thanks it was lovely 😀

Overall our meal was enjoyable, the house wine (pinot) was nice, squid starter was excellent, but the pasta was a real let down. I was looking forward to enjoying fresh pasta, but it didn't seem any different to the dried pasta I have at home. £65 for 2 of us - this doesnt seem good value. The rest of my dish (tomato, capers, olives) was fairly well balanced but I wont be going back, I'm determined to find somewhere that uses fresh pasta. Shame

When I was a teenager,my little sister and I came here for lunch. We ended up having dinner there. We stayed so long that our parents reported us missing. That's how great it was.

I visited during a quiet day on a Sunday. I was curious because it was a wood-fired pizza chain with several locations in London, and the taste was guaranteed. I ordered number 4, number 8, and a cola, and it was fine. Just give me tap water. I think there was a 10 pound sale for lunch on weekdays. Visited on Sunday afternoon. It's a franchise italian pizza restaurant in London. We give it a try because I was wondering what it's like, and it was quite great. We ordered number 4 and 8 and a coke. Tap water is free, I guess. I saw a banner advertising weekday lunch promotion, and I think it's gonna be nice try.

I went there after reading the Google reviews, and a passing resident gave me a thumbs up, saying it was the best restaurant! When I entered, there were no seats, but the staff guided me to the next restaurant. It looks like the restaurant was doing so well that they expanded into the store next door. I ate two plates of Arrabbiata (£15.95), Chefs Risotto (£24.95) with lots of cheese, and Linguine ai Frutti di Mare (£29.5) with amazing seafood. Total £124.42 with 12.5% ​​service charge. Fortunately, the price includes VAT. As expected, everything was delicious and I was full.

Really nice meal and great value, we went mid week so it was pretty empty. Service was very quick and food turned up fast which was good for feeding kids. Kids meal is good value and gelato was excellent.

I have been dining at Laghis for a long time. This was probably my last time though. We were told the restaurant was closing down soon. This is a sad news for me. I have had so many nice memories of good dinner with dear friends in Laghi's.

First time in there tonight. Food was banging on and the service was top notch. Had a little mix up with the ticket. who'd have known mains before starters was the future. Trust

I love Ask, love the pizzas and the gf gnocchi, but unfortunately, they have taken the gnocchi off the menu over winter. This is a mistake as its the best takeout they do. The pasta dishes were very disappointing, and this is the reason I've only given 3 stars for the food. The pizzas, though, are always great. Perhaps if they bring back the gnocchi, I'll revisit and give 5 stars again.

Lived in Sunderland my entire life and have never visited until now. The place is so cute inside, the staff are lovely and the food is absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely visit again!

This restaurant was really amazing. It’s a shame not busy - food was amazing and they respectfully listened when I said I was on diet and they did a lovely roast salmon with salad. My daughter nearly licked her spaghetti plate clean. Just perfect!! Thanks

A truly excellent venue without door and indoor seating. The indoor restaurant has a luxurious atmosphere with linen tablecloths, napkins and fresh flowers on the tables. It is however very reasonably priced. The food is excellent, with it seems, a Sicilian twist. The service at lunchtime was very prompt and the dessert menu was innovative as well as delicious.

Exceptionally good meal. I've been here before and the food is reliably good - really good choice, well prepared - I had the sausage with poached egg to start and the venison to follow. OMG - absolutely brilliant! But that's not why I'm writing this review. Big mention for Daisy, who served us. Probably the best service I've ever received & all credit to her - attentive but not obtrusive, willing to go that extra mile to ensure it was a good evening. For example, I'm fussy about my cheeses - Daisy went back & forth to the kitchen to find a selection I like, and they were DELICIOUS. Daisy - you delivered with charm & attentiveness & you're a credit to your profession. Thank you

The lovely, friendly staff were very helpful assisting a member of our party with allergies, and all the dishes we had were really nice. Highly recommended.
