Piccolino in Bradford

Even tho it was after 2pm on a Tuesday the atmosphere was great. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We chose from the lunch menu and went fir the 3 course at £25. Worth every penny and would of paid more. Great place

The bruschetta con gamberoni was amazing. Mouth watering. Plus the service was excellent (thank you Jeremy). We were in a rush and he got the food on the table, very good heartedly, in minutes. As always with Piccolino’s, excellent in every respect!

We arrived with our friends to a warm hospitable welcome from the manager Ben and once he had shown us to our table he was extremely attentive along with other members of the team. His recommendations from the menu and the wine list were excellent. We enjoyed a very pleasant lazy lunch and will definately go back again as soon as we can. I totally recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere and venue. We were in the roof top garden, it was beautiful and so comfortable. Excellent service and delicious bottle of Chianti 😀. We had the tagliatelle Bolognaise and tagliatelle salmon. Both were ample portions but slightly on the salty side.

On the expensive side, tagliatelle could have done with more bolognaise/meat. Both dishes were slightly on the salty side. Excellent service, venue and the rooftop garden was fab. Would recommend but as I said rather expensive. Chianti was £33 a bottle but t delicious.

We made a booking as we were staying one night locally. When we made the booking we were asked if we'd like "the terrace" - which we said yes. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. Music was dreadful - a continuous "Ibiza" beat. Not quite the quiet couples night we were looking forward to. The infra-red heating was creating it's own hole in the Ozone layer - but the draught from the window behind my back was freezing! We were encouraged to download the app - in order to get "the Friday discount special" - two courses and a drink for £25 per person. We did so, but the two courses were starter & main ( we'd rather have a main & dessert). The starters arrived very promptly and were very tasty. Mr M's plate was clearly heated in the bowels of hell. Even after the food was eaten, the waiter couldn't pick it up when he cleared the table. We had to ask twice about our mains and were told they were "two minutes away". We actually waited about an hour for our main course. In fairness, the food was fantastic - we both had the risotto. It tasted freshly cooked and egg was perfectly cooked. When we asked for the bill, it was presented with a charge of £224 - clearly the wrong table. When that was queried, another bill was presented for £55. Bearing in mind the "Two Course Special" was £25 per person, we were rather confused. Mr M queried the amount and was told the there was was 10% service charge! Under normal circumstances, we are happy to pay service charge or leave a considerable tip. However, the service tonight simply did not merit. A very disappointing experience. And I have deleted the app, as we will not be returning

I hadn't been to Piccolino's for some time so I thought it I would treat my better half to a meal at Piccolino's. The service was fantastic, I can't fault out server but the food was very average, definitely not value for money. The Arancini was amazing, the only part of the meal I can recommend but the Spaghetti Carbonara just tasted off, the pork was cut really thin and you could tell it had been cooked in oil rather than cooked in it's own rendered fat. Overall for a £100+ bill, it really wasn't very good which is a shame because it used to be amazing.

Great little Italian, pizzas was authentic asnd tasty they served Peroni Gran Riserva which was a bonus.

Good food eventually when it was served. Drinks very expensive, prosecco @ £40 & wine @ £30 a bottle rather steep! Service very slow, but, not the staff's fault, they did their best, couple of them kept apologising, bless them. The management need to look into staff shortage & issues!

Lovely experience, we took advantage of the Sunday sharing roast dinner - amazing. The waiting staff were attentive without being OTT. The food was beautifully presented: I personally had the vegetarian options which were perfectly filling. Points to bear in mind No lift to the first floor, second floor or terrace, but here are accessible toilets on the ground floor.

Great service from Sergio & colleagues. Love the roof top restaurant in Ilkley - food as good as always from Piccolino! I would recommend this restaurant for a meal out with friends or family.

We were greeted by Margot and Iain who showed us to our lovely table in the window. Margot was wonderfully attentive throughout our meal making sure we had everything that we needed. Harry ensured that we never went thirsty and diligently topped up with cocktails, mocktails and wine. The food was delicious as ever, brought to us by Alex who can carry more dishes than looks humanly possible! Great dining experience with a fab team attending to our culinary and drink needs.

First visit as we were in the area overnight. We had Margherita pizza, garlic bread with tomato and basil, fries with truffle and Parmigiano, and honey dip. All absolutely delicious. Decor in the restaurant is really elegant and clean and tidy. Service was first class, Margot was our waitress and was, attentive and friendly, credit to the restaurant. Will definitely call again when we are in the area to try some more dishes.

Ace service and excellent pizza

Had another, very pleasurable evening, spent with family, for my daughter’s birthday. The food selection was delicious with decent sized portions! The front of house staff are always very welcoming and friendly as are the kitchen staff who always say hello ! Highly recommended.

Quality place to impress someone everything was first class from staff, food, atmosphere and venue, I ate up stairs on the cover roof which, I hear is amazing if the weather's on your side.

We managed to get a table here late on a Saturday night and loved it! We enjoyed a few cocktails and the place had a great vibe/atmosphere! As always, the food was 10/10. The pizzas are amazing and my partner had probably the best gluten free pasta she has ever had. The service is also amazing and we would strongly recommend this place!

Visited for a belated father’s days meal and everything was AMAZING. The service and food was impeccable and we couldn’t fault anything. Joe our waiter was very attentive and just a lovely young man. Iain very kindly offered us a lovely table on the terrace for desserts and drinks after our meal and we just couldn’t say no! We were greeted by a lovely lady called Nikita on the terrace and a young girl called Cary’s who were both excellent. Our drinks made by Kellan and Harry were absolutely surperb. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for making the evening extra special. Our new favourite restaurant!

Bland food, terrible service. Young inexperienced staff more interested in chatting than looking after customers. Spent half the night trying to catch their attention for drinks. Wrong drinks served or just forgotten altogether. We’ve been coming regularly for years but this was probably our last visit. Such a shame to have a great venue badly let down by poor food and service.

Sat at Piccolinos on Saturday 11th May for a birthday party. The venue itself is very nice especially if you can get a table on the roof terrace, on this day we feel Lucky in terms of the weather, the canopy was retracted and the sun was shining. Service was also very good, staff were attentive and smiley. The food again was very good, ordered the £28 platter grazing board which came with charcuterie meats, cheese, peppers, breads and balsamic onions (not to be missed) between 3 of us, this was very good. After this i ordered steak from the lunch deal menu, a little underwhelmed with this, the food was plentiful but bland and dry.....not often I can say that the fries were better than the steak. For dessert I went cliche with a Tiriamisu, also very good.

Fabulous meal on the roof terrace this evening complete with lighting rainstorm. Didn’t detract from the fabulous dishes we enjoyed. Excellent banter and service from the lovely James with outstanding truffle, parma ham, rocket and pecorino pizza - the best pizza I’ve ever had. Huge compliments to the chef and team. Really fab food and environment - as ever. Bravo!

Popped in for snacks and drinks before a meal we had booked elsewhere. Would have quite happily cancelled our other table and stayed here. We were greeted by Margot (fantastic name), who was friendly and professional throughout our visit. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the sharing board we had was lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Had an absolute fantastic meal here! I had the Spaghetti Carbonara and it tastes amazing! Would highly recommend and will certainly return to try more of the amazing menu. We sat on the roof terrace, however due to light rain the roof was obviously closed, would love to return on a sunny day, i can imagine its lovely up there! Gorgeous. We arrived at opening time on a quiet Thursday evening, we were on our way to the Kings Hall theatre. It’s situated right next to a large car park in the centre of town and looked very inviting with its twinkly lights. We were seated in a nice window spot by the welcoming waitress. I ordered a chicken dish and my daughter chose a duck dish. Both came with vegetables and were nicely presented. Both tasted delicious and sadly we were too full for desserts! Washed down with a pink gin and a tasty raspberry drink for me (driver). Paid around £65 total (including a service charge). The restaurant is beautiful inside and there’s another lovely dining area upstairs on the balcony. Toilets are upstairs (very nice) which gave me chance to have a nosy. Although quiet when we arrived it got busier within the hour. Staff are friendly and attentive. Not the cheapest Italian restaurant but certainly worth a visit we loved it.

We decided last minute to go out for food, easier said than done when one of you is in a wheelchair, no bother here though, called the restaurant & and hour later we were tucking in to our starters. Great food, really nice atmosphere and perfect staff. Such a lovely evening had, thanks for taking care of us!

Visited on Tuesday for a date night. For starters we had pizza bread and olives.. the olives were gorgeous and the pizza bread was very fresh and tasty. Mains , we had Lasagna and ribeye steak. The steak was amazing.. possibly the best I’ve had. I did compliment the chef as I was so impressed. We had 2x red wine (Chianti Classico) and 2x white wine (Pino). Total bill came to £61 - £15 tip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Can I just say how impressed I am with the restaurants 50% off your bill policy in January.. usually restaurants don’t offer this and it’s an excellent idea to get customers through the door at the quietest time of the year.. ❤️ SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT!!

One of my most favourite places to eat!

Visited on Boxing Day, surprised it was less than half full. Food was lovely, kitchen staff were massively let down by FoH. Wine didn't arrive until we reminded them, then no glasses. Had to ask again for water. Waitress never asked if food was OK, too busy chatting at the till. Other than taking our order there was no engagement at all. The bill never appeared so we went to the till, 2 staff said 'thank you, bye', we said we hadn't paid yet'! We could easily have left without paying. I said we'd enjoyed the food but service had been poor. Response was 'I'll pass this on', yet she was in charge and was the one too bsuy chatting with our waitress! No apology or attempt to put things right. Disappointing as this could have been a much better experience. We'll stick to Piccolinos in Harrogate in future.

James was fantastic and attentive made sure we had a good time especially on a busy Christmas Eve.

Had a really nice meal out here this week to celebrate our 3rd anniversary (thanks for the cake). Staff were lovely. Atmosphere was great. The aubergine ravioli was gorgeous.

My first visit which was to celebrate my daughter's birthday along with my parents and nephew.. lovely environment and great service.. food was exceptional, maybe slightly expensive but well worth going for some authenticity if Italian food is what you're wanting.. bringing my daughter a birthday cake really topped off the whole experience.. definitely somewhere I will be returning to.

The restaurant was cold had to wear my coat when up stairs to toilet the room up there was red hot it's a pity manager couldn't be bothered to give a explanation when I asked why is it so cold here.....

Came back for pizza…. Again! Managed to get Johnny (top chef) out so my 6 year old could tell him just how great his pizza is!! Best in the world apparently! Service is top draw, highly recommend!

Went for my birthday with family and had the best night ever. The food, the service, the atmosphere was just fab and we loved every minute. I had the lobster that was just oh *chefs kiss*. The staff were brilliant especially Antonio and Joe. Thank you for making our night very special, we can’t wait to be back!

Lunch time meeting with friend/client. Not been in a while so was pleasantly surprised. Arrived a little early but was greeted really well and shown to my seat. Good lunch menu on offer. Was served by Margot who was delightful, attentive and just lovely. The food for delicious! We had starters as shown and the lobster and steak combo for main! No pictures because we ate it so quickly. So overall. brilliant experience, great food and brilliant service! Thanks guys will be back!

Had a great meal with family and friends tonight. Food was great as usual and service exceptional. Darcy was great and even tried to help me with my broken brace!

Great service, good food, and atmosphere for early dining. Steak slighly overdone for what was asked for but rectified straight away when staff asked if everything was OK. We dined on the sun terrace and will be back to try the downstairs eating experience.

We walked in on a Saturday night with no reservation. The front of house manager was very accommodating and squeezed us in on the last remaining table. The manager had fantastic knowledge as did the service team. They were great with recommendations and the food was all fantastic as well as the drinks. Fantastic value for money. I have been to other Piccolino restaurants around the country. Some hit and some miss. This one was absolutely fantastic. My partner and I were both super impressed with everything and would 100% come back. Joe M is the best waiter in town. If you come here, you want to have him serving your table

Rot starts at the top…. Very poor experience tonight at Piccolino. Staff chewing gum whilst taking our order which seems unprofessional and potentially unhygienic, especially when they stretched said gum out of their mouth and threw it into the bin behind the bar without washing their hands after. They got the order wrong for one our child’s meals. Upon pointing out that the ham pizza didn’t have any ham on it, the same pizza reappeared 2 minutes later with an uncooked slice of ham literally thrown on top of it. All of this was pointed out to Ian, the Manager, who clearly wasn’t at all interested or apologetic. If anything he was aggressive. I guess this explains the poor service overall. If a manager has no interest in the appearance his staff portray or the quality of food being served it is no surprise that this was a wholly disappointing visit.

Bought a take away meal from this restaurant for a special treat... It cost £47 for 2 lasagnes 1 with chips & salad the other just salad. The chips were oven cooked fries that were soggy by the time we got home 10minutes later, the salad was just basic lettuce tomatoe & cucumber, no pepper onion or rocket to be found. The lasagne tasted nice but a little dry so not a very good take away at all. The chips ended up in the bin... I'm sure a dine in meal for 2 from Waitrose for £12 would of been better. The service was good and friendly welcome just shame the food wasn't better

the food was 10/10, the service was immaculate, they treated my whole party nicely and gave us a VIP treatment, everything we asked for they gave in seconds and adjusted with the party well, there was 14 of us so understandable that things go wrong with that and with every worry we had my solutions were quickly given, massive humongous thank you and shoutout to nakita, joe and harry, who were all on shift at the time and looked after us very well, especially nakita who dealt with us till the very end, give them a raise!

Visited for 1st time yesterday, great place, great food will deffo return .

Myself and husband visited hear for the first time to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We was welcomed by very friendly staff who congratulated us on our anniversary and brought us two complimentary glasses of bubbly to celebrate, we sat in the window to enjoy our drinks then taken to our table where our food was ready. The high quality of cleanliness and politeness from all staff was fantastic! I enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese and my husband enjoyed the Duck with a side of fries and some hand made garlic bread. We was then surprised with a nice slice of dessert with congratulations on it, compliments to all the staff and kitchen staff. We highly recommend to anyone, couples / familys to experience this fantastic Italian restaurant in the heart of Ilkley, do not miss out on high quality food and a polite professional experience. Thank you to all the staff at Piccolino.

Had a table for 2 for drinks in the lovely upstairs roof terrace. Really great atmosphere - busy enough on a Saturday night for good vibes without being too loud, DJ matched the vibe well in terms of music and volume. Staff were friendly and attentive, speedy service. Great cocktail menu and loved the decor inside. Great buzz about the place!

The food was delicious but the service is absolutely shocking.

Poor quality food for what you pay, could see the chefs taking food out of the microwave the whole evening. My pasta was mushy and not overly pleasant, and my starter came straight out of the microwave. The waiting staff started arguing right in front of us (including swearing), which we found odd, like.. 1 meter away from our table. Really disappointed as I thought it would be a nice anniversary meal. Table next to us had pizza that looked lovely, maybe if I go back I'll try that.

Really disappointed with our visit here on 03/06/23. We had booked a table for 6 on the terrace which is always lovely. We were seated right next to the DJ, the music was decent and adds to the atmosphere, but it really doesn’t need to be as loud as it is, if it was just a bar fair enough but it becomes slightly annoying when your trying to have a conversation and all through your meal. We all had a starter which were ok, the carpaccio says it comes with a rocket and Parmesan salad, there was virtually no parmesan on the plate. Main course my partner and another friend both ordered the Carpaccio pizza, both could only eat about a quarter of the pizza, the Venetian dressing on the pizza was so over powering and too much, apart from the crust the pizza was soggy and very unpleasant. I ordered the Caesar salad, the chicken was so dry it was hard to swallow, you had to look hard to find any crispy pancetta also, I got my friends to try a piece of chicken and it was decided it should be sent back, they replaced the dish and sadly it was exactly the same, so it was sent back and I didn’t have a meal. The waitress give us 50% off the main courses which was at least a gesture of good will, The bill still came to £310 with the drinks we had, but we left feeling very disappointed by the whole experience.

Average pizza overpriced. Way overated. The chips were well nice but other than that £13 50 for the cheapest pizza is a joke. I feel robbed. Tasted like a homemade pizza made by a monkey. Just go to pizza palazzo or Valentinos instead

Went on a Thursday and had set 3 course menu. WOW, what can I say. The food was 10/10, service 10/10 and roof terrace 10/10.
