Food very good. Volume is quite large too.

I've been here many times over the past 7 years and always loved the authentic food and the atmosphere. My favourites are linguine scoglio from the mains and calamari and bruschetta from starters. The service is great here as well.

Great anniversary dinner and excellent service from Bryan and Genny. We will be back!

I have visited Osteria Del Portico multiple times, and it has always been a great experience. The food is excellent, the prices are fair, the decor is beautiful, and the team is fantastic.

Had a family Christmas lunch here, for 46 people, it was a great atmosphere, well organised and good value with good choices and excellent food. Staff were very welcoming. Would highly recommend for large celebrations.

Qué gran restaurante es este, una verdadera joya escondida en Ealing. Un ambiente encantador para el otoño / invierno en el que estamos ahora. Muy acogedor en la parte delantera del patio con calentadores superiores que te mantienen caliente, cenamos por primera vez dentro del restaurante principal y esto también es genial, muy buenos arreglos de asientos. Sobre la comida que era excelente como siempre. Gran sopa minestrone y lingüina de mariscos también bruschetta y lubina igualmente buena. Panna Cotta para terminar, que gran comida, servicio y ambiente y excelente relación calidad-precio. Bien hecho ODP! Mantenga los excelentes estándares.

Local pequeño y con decoración sencilla. Buena calidad, servicio muy agradable, buen precio. Por cierto, el capuccino es muy auténtico.

Lovely looking restaurant. Great pizzas but the pasta was old and microwaved up resulting in 60% of it being one congealed lump of spaghetti hard and disgusting in the bottom. We had to get to a concert or would have demonstrated. Very bad

I organized a group dinner for my birthday and service was exceptional! Very accomodating, flexible and hospitable! They went the extra mile, all my guests were pleased. Totally recommend it!

Para que un restaurante italiano justifique una crítica mía, tiene que ser excepcional. Il Pórtico ha existido durante décadas, y sigue siendo excepcionalmente bueno. Los entrantes - queso de cabra bruschetta, y cebo blanco - eran excelentes. El pescado y la lingüina eran aún mejores: no como la lingüina de marisco que se obtiene en la mayoría de los restaurantes, que es un poco de pasta demasiado cocida con unos calamares y almejas descongelados. Esto era apropiado, al dente linguine en una salsa maravillosa y marisco fresco. Esto sería excelente incluso en Italia. Después, café propio seguido de una generosa copa de Amaro Montenegro. Todo en un entorno agradable, relajado e íntimo, con un gran servicio. Que continúe así por muchos años más.

This place is a real gem! Food was amazing and service was incredible. Special shout out to Bryan for taking good care of us and being so attentive and also to the rest of the team. Will definitely be back!

What a delight this lovely authentic place is. Great food, wine and service. Having just travelled France where the food was average at best, this was a lovely surprise before heading back to Australia. A big shout out to Brian (wish I could remember the other names) and all who looked after us. You need to visit here. You will not be disappointed.

Listen please. My experience was like this. My friend and I ordered our food and waited for 45 minutes and when we asked for the waiting time we were told today was too busy and we had to go. Waiting time is insane for this restaurant. Service was really bad although it seemed they are very busy.

I used to thoroughly enjoy dining here about a month ago, as the food was consistently delicious and transported me straight to Italy with its authentic flavors. Unfortunately, on my recent visit, the quality of the food did not meet the same high standards. Although the service and ambiance remained excellent, the change in the food's taste was disappointing. I hope this is a temporary issue and that the restaurant will return to its previous excellence.

Spaghetti carbonara was obviously left to go cold in the kitchen, then reheated in a microwave. Inedible, and disappointing! The chef literally cannot cook!! David Quinn.

Very average food, shame really. Wouldn't go back and as a chef I can't understand why not more effort is emphasised on the quality of the food. Maybe they had a bad day in the kitchen but still it's not hard to make good food. Sorry for the bad review but I have high standards.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful authentic Italian cuisine, lovely ambience and music - it felt like escaping into an Italian courtyard with fresh white linen tablecloths and serviettes, colourful flowers and rustic looking walls and tasteful decor. For the 2-course lunch menu with house wine I had the goats cheese starter and the sea bass main - both absolutely delicious. Finished off with ice cold shots of limoncello. Just divine! Thanks to Giovanni and all the friendly waiters and waitresses for your impeccable service.

La comida era excelente y el servicio era genial, un restaurante muy amable y que volveré a visitar regularmente. Teníamos calamares / - ramens entrante y bruschetta con queso de cabra. Las principales eran filete de lubina y lingüina de marisco. Terminamos con un fantástico pana cotta y helado / sorbete. Preciosa botella de vino también. Una verdadera joya escondida en Ealing y teníamos una mesa en el patio que era muy agradable.

I was able to enjoy authentic Italian food in London 😊 Appetizers, pizza, pasta, and desserts were all delicious🍝🍕🍨 Although I can't speak English very well, all the staff were very friendly and kind✨ Also, there were Japanese staff, so it was easy to order and ask questions, which was helpful🥹🙏🏻 We have a wide range of customers, and we think it can be used in a variety of situations, including couples, families, and friends. I would definitely like to visit again! Thank you for the wonderful food and service 💓

I stumbled across this restaurant with my friends. It’s not a big restaurant, but it’s something special once you enter—it has a small courtyard and family-style seating upstairs. At that time, our menu was mainly Italian classics, with a variety of styles available. The taste is great and suitable for Chinese tastes. I would recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming independant restaurant that I discovered through a quick Google search. Tired of the chain stores, I was delighted to find this hidden gem. The overall experience was delightful. The set lunch menu, offering three courses for around £20, was not only great value for money but also really fresh and good quality food. I started with the fried calamari, which was fresh not frozen, followed by the seafood linguini, which was really tasty. The ambience was nice and it was warm inside. The owner was really nice and the staff were friendly and attentive. I liked the background jazz music and cosy decor. I highly recommend this place. #supportlocal 😊

One of the worst Italian foods I've ever had. The menu and prices look appealing at first, but very disappointed with the quality of food.

This place is a great place to dine because of the lovely service served by the kind staff and chefs cooking was absolutely on point. Everything was perfect.

We went to Osteria del portico for dinner. The restaurant itself was lovely. It’s a very unique setup with a long terrace starting at the high-street leading to a homely restaurant at the end. That unique layout, along with the homely decor and jovial staff, provides a good atmosphere. Beyond that, we found the food and menu fairly unremarkable. It was run-of-the-mill low to mid range Italian food. Nonetheless I would recommend going for the atmosphere or in larger groups.

Our group arrived without a reservation, a table was found for us within a few minutes, the service was impeccable the recommendations for dishes were very helpful. The food was all delicious. All of u us left very happy and well satiated. Definitely recommend.

This is a regular restaurant haunt for my husband and I, but I wanted to highlight that alongside the longstanding menu enjoyed by all of the locals, Osteria del Portico offers a specials menu also providing seasonal fresh produce - my husband and I had the octopus and the scallops as shared starters from this menu. Although not advertised, the restaurant also offers gluten-free pasta as an alternative for all of their pasta dishes. I tried the ragu with gluten-free pasta this time around. Located in a wonderful setting and providing consistent excellent service.

I am really disappointed by the way the guy asked me to stay at the door, as they had tiramisu available for only take away. I understand that it was their closing time. But the way he spoke was rude and unacceptable. I would have appreciated a little politeness, hospitality. Not sure if I would like to even give it a try again. I have been in the same industry and i know you should at least not be rude to your customers given any situation.

I felt right at home. Best Italian restaurant in Ealing. Actually most authentic Italian I’ve had in a while. The vongole are super fresh, the inferno pizza is delicious, the tiramisu really light and perfect to end your meal. Perfect selection of wine and digestives. The waiters are really friendly and make sure you enjoy your evening. Would recommend! The hidden gem of Ealing.

Two great pasta dishes and lovely wine. Really like the decor and how you're squirrelled away from the busy main road. Our waiter was quick but a little too much, it almsot felt like we were being rushed. The restaurant wasn't busy either.

The food was great and staff were welcoming and made an effort to be entertaining! Everyone we spoke to in the restaurant was Italian, which made the experience feel a lot more genuine! There are no complaints I could make about the food we ate either!

This is a great, little Italian restaurant, with a lovely, warm, homely and authentic feel. What's more, i just discovered that hey can do any of the pasta dishes gluten free! I can't wait to go back to try those. Great staff, lovely food, very cool interior.

Ottimo ristorante! From the moment I walk through the door, I feel like I've been transported to Italy. The food is simply divine and the flavors are so authentic that it reminds me of home. Out of all the Italian restaurants I've tried in London, it definitely ranks in my top three. Also, the service is excellent . Every staff member is friendly and attentive, I highly recommend giving Osteria del Portico a try - you won't regret it!

My friend invited me to this wonderful place and I can only say that I loved it from start to finish. The atmosphere, the staff and the food were simply excellent and delicious. We travelled an hour to visit this Italian taste paradise.

It seems to be in Chinatown on Piccadilly. Anyway , we were disappointed to find that there was no Italian ambience, and the service was lacking, with staff who had difficulty communicating in English. The lack of Italian presence and the difficulty in staff communication made for a less than satisfactory “Asian experience” We may consider ordering sushi elsewhere next time….. Disappointing and ridiculous.

It's an incredible restaurant, the food is super good, it's one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. If you want to taste quality food, go there! The service is excellent too!

Lovely and cosy Italian restaurant with very efficient service and friendly staff! Food was very well priced. The seafood risotto was very rich and tasty with a generous amount of seafood! The pasta was made to al dente! The chocolate sauce with the profiteroles was also delicious!

I had an awkward dining experience at Osteria del Portixo last week. The restaurant lacked any Italian ambiance or presence, which was disappointing. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the service, particularly a server, who happened to be a rude Asian girl. She didn't seem to understand our concerns when we were selecting dishes, making the meal less enjoyable. Overall, it was a letdown, given our expectations for an Italian dining experience We will not come back again for sure. Avoid this place.

We dropped by here for dinner early evening during the week and got a table easily. We were with our grown up kids and were looked after really well. The service was excellent and our drinks order was taken soon after we arrived. This gave us time to review the menu at our leisure. Once ordered the food arrived just at the right time; not too quick and not too late. The owner was very helpful in recommending a suitable wine. Pizza and pasta dishes were excellent and I highly recommend the Spaghetti Vongole.

I would call this restaurant average at best. We arrived early evening and sat outside. The service all seemed very casual. The waiter seemed almost bored. We ordered the sharing plate to start with some bruschetta. The plate was very average the bruscehetta very good (probably the only part of the meal we could say that about). The waiter returned to take our main order and we had the mixed meat platter and some side. We had the Chianti wine which was again nothing to write home about. The waitress offered us some Limoncello at the end of the meal. We paid the bill, which seemed quite high until we examined it afterwards and found that we had been charged £12.00 for the 2 Limoncello and the service charge had automatically been added. A total of £192. Really not worth it. It has made us appreciate our local favourite Italian so much more

I recently dined at Osteria Del Portico and experienced communication challenges with non-native Italian staff, particularly some of the Asian team members who had difficulty with English. This affected the menu recommendations and overall service. Thankfully, the presence of an Italian friend improved our experience. I believe additional language training for the staff could enhance the overall dining experience for guests. Unfortunately, due to these issues, I won't be returning to Osteria Del Portico, feeling that my visit was a waste of both money and time.

First dish we ordered was not available. Waited long time for first course. When main course eventually served we were told they had run out of fries!!!! No apology..no compensation on the bill. Will never go back again...

Pleasantly surprised, we came here by chance as the place down the road was fully booked. Their lunch menu was outstanding, we left clean plates as a result. Service was great & atmosphere perfect for a Saturday chilled lunch!

Looking for somewhere to eat on Ealing Broadway and found this lovely restaurant. Excellent food and good atmosphere with lovely staff

This was such a shame, as after viewing previous reviews and local recommendations we were so looking forward to our Italian here. Booking was easy online and we chose a seat inside. The servers were almost too attentive and asked to take our food order at the same time of taking our wine order, even though it was still early doors. For starters, we ordered the calamari & “suppli”, both were disappointing. We questioned the battering of the calamari and originally thought it was straight from the freezer, however when our side of fried courgettes arrived, it appeared that was just the restaurant’s choice of batter. For mains we had the Parmigiana & Salmon Pasta. Both tasty but nothing special, perhaps reflective of the price? Puddings, we had tiramisu & Baba. My partner has never had such a drowned Baba, to the point she couldn’t finish it!! The wine was the saving grace, but at £26.50 we’d hope so. Service was friendly and with a smile, however always a pet hate when the charge is included.

My friend and I really enjoyed the food, the service was very good and the waiters were friendly.
