An absolute gem of a restaurant with first class food, service and value for money. The set menu is fabulous and includes wine. The squid and whitebait were delicious with everything beautifully cooked. Wonderful! attentive staff. One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to . Tony.

Estábamos parando localmente y plumped para esto ya que estaba muy cerca de nuestro hotel. Pequeño lugar peculiar con un concurrido restaurante tradicional en la parte trasera, mientras que la parte delantera era más casual y ahí es donde elegimos. Creo que era una especie de patio externo tipo habitación inicialmente, pero había sido convertido y calentadores añadidos que era perfecto para nosotros. Tanto la comida como el servicio eran fabulosos y el Spaghettini Vongole era increíble y lleno de almejas... Uno de los mejores restaurantes italianos en los que he estado y sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en Londres

Bryan's fantastic service today compelled me to write this review. Sometimes, when you experience such warmth and kindness, it feels like you’re an old friend of the place. Bryan isn’t just a great server—he’s a wonderful human being who truly cares, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Nicolas was also great, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Osteria del Portico serves beautiful arancini, perfectly crispy calamari, and a delicious pizza topped with anchovies, olives, and capers. The food, combined with the restaurant's charming ambience, makes me feel like I’m on holiday every time I visit. Highly recommended!

I've been here a few times over the past 4years and always loved the authenticity of the food and the atmosphere. My favourites are linguine scoglio from the mains and calamari and bruschetta from starters. The service here has a warm and friendly as well.

I have visited Osteria Del Portico multiple times, and it has always been a great experience. The food is excellent, the prices are fair, the decor is beautiful, and the team is fantastic.

Had a family Christmas lunch here, for 46 people, it was a great atmosphere, well organised and good value with good choices and excellent food. Staff were very welcoming. Would highly recommend for large celebrations.

Qué gran restaurante es este, una verdadera joya escondida en Ealing. Un ambiente encantador para el otoño / invierno en el que estamos ahora. Muy acogedor en la parte delantera del patio con calentadores superiores que te mantienen caliente, cenamos por primera vez dentro del restaurante principal y esto también es genial, muy buenos arreglos de asientos. Sobre la comida que era excelente como siempre. Gran sopa minestrone y lingüina de mariscos también bruschetta y lubina igualmente buena. Panna Cotta para terminar, que gran comida, servicio y ambiente y excelente relación calidad-precio. Bien hecho ODP! Mantenga los excelentes estándares.

Lovely looking restaurant. Great pizzas but the pasta was old and microwaved up resulting in 60% of it being one congealed lump of spaghetti hard and disgusting in the bottom. We had to get to a concert or would have demonstrated. Very bad

I organized a group dinner for my birthday and service was exceptional! Very accomodating, flexible and hospitable! They went the extra mile, all my guests were pleased. Totally recommend it!

Para que un restaurante italiano justifique una crítica mía, tiene que ser excepcional. Il Pórtico ha existido durante décadas, y sigue siendo excepcionalmente bueno. Los entrantes - queso de cabra bruschetta, y cebo blanco - eran excelentes. El pescado y la lingüina eran aún mejores: no como la lingüina de marisco que se obtiene en la mayoría de los restaurantes, que es un poco de pasta demasiado cocida con unos calamares y almejas descongelados. Esto era apropiado, al dente linguine en una salsa maravillosa y marisco fresco. Esto sería excelente incluso en Italia. Después, café propio seguido de una generosa copa de Amaro Montenegro. Todo en un entorno agradable, relajado e íntimo, con un gran servicio. Que continúe así por muchos años más.

What a delight this lovely authentic place is. Great food, wine and service. Having just travelled France where the food was average at best, this was a lovely surprise before heading back to Australia. A big shout out to Brian (wish I could remember the other names) and all who looked after us. You need to visit here. You will not be disappointed.

Listen please. My experience was like this. My friend and I ordered our food and waited for 45 minutes and when we asked for the waiting time we were told today was too busy and we had to go. Waiting time is insane for this restaurant. Service was really bad although it seemed they are very busy.

I used to thoroughly enjoy dining here about a month ago, as the food was consistently delicious and transported me straight to Italy with its authentic flavors. Unfortunately, on my recent visit, the quality of the food did not meet the same high standards. Although the service and ambiance remained excellent, the change in the food's taste was disappointing. I hope this is a temporary issue and that the restaurant will return to its previous excellence.

Spaghetti carbonara was obviously left to go cold in the kitchen, then reheated in a microwave. Inedible, and disappointing! The chef literally cannot cook!! David Quinn.

Very average food, shame really. Wouldn't go back and as a chef I can't understand why not more effort is emphasised on the quality of the food. Maybe they had a bad day in the kitchen but still it's not hard to make good food. Sorry for the bad review but I have high standards.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful authentic Italian cuisine, lovely ambience and music - it felt like escaping into an Italian courtyard with fresh white linen tablecloths and serviettes, colourful flowers and rustic looking walls and tasteful decor. For the 2-course lunch menu with house wine I had the goats cheese starter and the sea bass main - both absolutely delicious. Finished off with ice cold shots of limoncello. Just divine! Thanks to Giovanni and all the friendly waiters and waitresses for your impeccable service.

Fuimos aquí para el almuerzo a mitad de semana y tenía un menú muy agradable para £ 23 / 3 platos. La comida era excelente y el servicio era genial, un restaurante muy amable y que volveré a visitar regularmente. Teníamos calamares / - ramens entrante y bruschetta con queso de cabra. Las principales eran filete de lubina y lingüina de marisco. Terminamos con un fantástico pana cotta y helado / sorbete. Preciosa botella de vino también. Una verdadera joya escondida en Ealing y teníamos una mesa en el patio que era muy agradable.

I was able to enjoy authentic Italian food in London 😊 Appetizers, pizza, pasta, and desserts were all delicious🍝🍕🍨 Although I can't speak English very well, all the staff were very friendly and kind✨ Also, there were Japanese staff, so it was easy to order and ask questions, which was helpful🥹🙏🏻 We have a wide range of customers, and we think it can be used in a variety of situations, including couples, families, and friends. I stumbled across this restaurant with my friends. It’s not a big restaurant, but it’s something special once you enter—it has a small courtyard and family-style seating upstairs. At that time, our menu was mainly Italian classics, with a variety of styles available. The taste is great and suitable for Chinese tastes. I would recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming independant restaurant that I discovered through a quick Google search. Tired of the chain stores, I was delighted to find this hidden gem. The overall experience was delightful. The set lunch menu, offering three courses for around £20, was not only great value for money but also really fresh and good quality food. I started with the fried calamari, which was fresh not frozen, followed by the seafood linguini, which was really tasty. The ambience was nice and it was warm inside. The owner was really nice and the staff were friendly and attentive. I liked the background jazz music and cosy decor. I highly recommend this place. #supportlocal 😊

Delicious pasta, would recommend 100%

We went to Osteria del portico for dinner. The restaurant itself was lovely. It’s a very unique setup with a long terrace starting at the high-street leading to a homely restaurant at the end. That unique layout, along with the homely decor and jovial staff, provides a good atmosphere. Beyond that, we found the food and menu fairly unremarkable. It was run-of-the-mill low to mid range Italian food. Nonetheless I would recommend going for the atmosphere or in larger groups.

Our group arrived without a reservation, a table was found for us within a few minutes, the service was impeccable the recommendations for dishes were very helpful. The food was all delicious. All of u us left very happy and well satiated. Definitely recommend.

This is a regular restaurant haunt for my husband and I, but I wanted to highlight that alongside the longstanding menu enjoyed by all of the locals, Osteria del Portico offers a specials menu also providing seasonal fresh produce - my husband and I had the octopus and the scallops as shared starters from this menu. Although not advertised, the restaurant also offers gluten-free pasta as an alternative for all of their pasta dishes. I tried the ragu with gluten-free pasta this time around. Located in a wonderful setting and providing consistent excellent service.

I am really disappointed by the way the guy asked me to stay at the door, as they had tiramisu available for only take away. I understand that it was their closing time. But the way he spoke was rude and unacceptable. I would have appreciated a little politeness, hospitality. Not sure if I would like to even give it a try again. I have been in the same industry and i know you should at least not be rude to your customers given any situation.

Two great pasta dishes and lovely wine. Really like the decor and how you're squirrelled away from the busy main road. Our waiter was quick but a little too much, it almsot felt like we were being rushed. The restaurant wasn't busy either.

I felt right at home. Best Italian restaurant in Ealing. Actually most authentic Italian I’ve had in a while. The vongole are super fresh, the inferno pizza is delicious, the tiramisu really light and perfect to end your meal. Perfect selection of wine and digestives. The waiters are really friendly and make sure you enjoy your evening. Would recommend! The hidden gem of Ealing.

The food was great and staff were welcoming and made an effort to be entertaining! Everyone we spoke to in the restaurant was Italian, which made the experience feel a lot more genuine! There are no complaints I could make about the food we ate either!

This is a great, little Italian restaurant, with a lovely, warm, homely and authentic feel. What's more, i just discovered that hey can do any of the pasta dishes gluten free! I can't wait to go back to try those. Great staff, lovely food, very cool interior.
