Santa Maria Pizzeria in Ealing

Santa Maria is my favourite Pizzeria! I go out of my way to eat at the Ealing restaurant ever since the Brentford location closed. Today I was served by Sana who was excellent. The pizza was served hot and in perfect time. Thank you Sana and the Santa Maria team for making my birthday lunch a wonderful experience!

We love Santa Maria and the team at the Ealing branch are fantastic. Huge thank you to Sana for her outstanding service today when we visited to celebrate a milestone birthday :-)

Pizza is fine but too much cheese. Felt a bit old fashioned and behind the times. But quite reasonable and all fine.

This is my favourite pizza place in London! The staff are friendly, especially Ana, Julia and Laura, and chef Pedro makes the most delicious, authentic Neopolitan pizzas. Would highly recommend!

The pizza is fantastic, a true delicacy. The girls on the staff were welcoming, attentive and very courteous. Highly recommended if you want to eat real Italian pizza in a quiet and friendly environment!

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to Santa Maria, and for good reason. The food is consistently amazing. I’ve worked my way through nearly every pizza on the menu, yet I still can’t pick a favorite. It all depends on my mood that day! The service has always been great, which makes the experience even better. I can’t wait to come back for more.

This is one of my absolute favourite places in London. The staff is like family. The food is brilliant. Completely authentic. Love it. Have been a few times where the food has been a little late and they've compensated with homemade tiramisu.... fave spot!

The pizza was really nice. My whole family liked it very much. The staffs were very helpful. Specially Abdul, a young Bangladeshi staff is very helpful and jolly minded. He helped us as we have kids with us. I really appreciate of their service.

We ordered the San Rocco pizza, aubergine parmigiana and a bottle of the house red. Everything was delicious. Service was quick. I’d definitely recommend.

I'm not joking, it's really delicious. I have never tried a good pizza in London, but finally I went there after a friend recommended it.

The staff were lovely and the pizzas were delicious especially the starters the Burrata pugliese was really good. Overall cozy nice reaturant, a go to if near by ealing and craving an aunthentic Italian pizza.

Pizza was inedible as the base was uncooked. Replacement was burnt to a cinder. Guess the chef took umbridge. Server couldn't apologise enough and explained it was a new chef. Shame coz I've been going to the Brentford outlet for years and it was fantastic. Another icon sullied. Little text received from owner following this review to contact them in order that they could investigate. Further response NONE. Responding to look concerned on the review page - shoddy.

Came here a couple of weeks ago the service was amazing. The workers are lovely and my pizza tasted phenomenal. Will definitely be coming again and a special thank you to Luigi for making my day a little bit better Little bit bit better in this horrible weather.

A lovely local pizza place. I've tried most of the pizzas on offer and, you know what, once you walk in and smell the variety of ingredients, from aromatic garlic to pungent truffle and rich tomatoes broiling in their ovens, and coupled with a vibrant yet intimate atmosphere, it effortlessly creates a simple and humble, but delicious experience. Santa Maria delivers. Recommended!

I had a lovely experience at Santa Maria restaurant. My friend and I ordered the Santa Carmela and Sant' Anna pizzas, and both were delicious. The crust was perfect, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Lovely and lovely pizza place in Ealing. The pizzas are spot on, the beer is served in fancy glasses and the service is attentive and quick. The tables under the exhaust from the oven do get very warm, so watch out for that.

Good solid pizza, good service, nice atmosphere

The best Calzone I have ever eaten and I have eaten at a lot of Pizza spots all over London. Honestly come and check these guys out and get their Calzone it's probably one of the best at least in West London.

It's a dog food If the hotel is nearby, it's good to grab a meal.

Best pizzeria in London, I love it!

The original in this now mini chain. The pizza stays true to the Neapolitan roots with a soft base, natural tomato sauce and high quality cheese. It's small in size which also stays true to pizzerias in Naples.

Pizza was not nice like before. The restaurant uses canned mushrooms, after confronting the waiter, he said they use fresh, however they are clearly not fresh but canned. I will not be returning to this pizzeria. The quality has went down substantially. Unfortunately Vita Mia Pizzeria was closed and I was forced to go to Santa Maria Pizzeria, but I was very disappointed.

This was my first time at this pizzeria, unfortunately I wasn’t too happy with it, despite the good reviews. The pizza was ok, but the tomato sauce was very very soggy and watery which made the dough wet and all the ingredients were falling off the pizza. However, the tomato sauce was seasoned properly, which is rare. The service was alright, but the waiter did say they have fresh mushrooms, which they don’t, they’re from a jar or tin. Not the best experience to be honest. The beer was more worth it than the pizza.

I had the pleasure of dining at Santa Maria. I must say the service was absolutely exceptional. Our server, a lovely Ukrainian girl, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. She made us feel welcomed and ensured we were comfortable throughout our meal. It's rare to encounter such outstanding service, and I will definitely be returning for more. Highly recommend!

Santa Maria Pizzeria is a real hidden gem! The pizza is delicious. It has the feel and charm of an authentic pizzeria. The service is fast and the staff are accommodating. We've eaten in and gotten takeaway. The quality has been consistently brilliant!

I wouldn’t even give 1 star for the atmosphere or service as that’s being generous for the waiting staff/ bar staff. The only thing was nice was the margarita pizza and rocco pizza which I will give 4 stars (that’s the only thing I liked about this here) the bar smelt horrible like musky same as a public restroom. The staff are rude, stuck up and have an attitude especially the man who was wearing glasses. There was a young gentleman who i believe was a chef with a silicone pizza and he did a little show for me and my kids. He was extremely nice and polite also he made us feel comfortable and after we eaten I saw the man who was wearing the glasses slap the blonde hair lady on the bottom! I was shocked and was disgusted I paid and walked out with my kids. I hope they have cctv there because that’s not good for a business. Just to add they are also racist.

I went to Santa Maria with 3 friends and immediately got greeted by a warm friendly welcome.Their are a lot of great pizza options and I would recommend the la Daniel.I would definitely recommend this place and it is cheap and yummy.

Sadly a very disappointing visit this evening. Staff were friendly but incredibly short on head count which made their jobs challenging. Ordered our food and drinks - pint and a glass of wine took 30 mins to arrive, followed by our mains 45 mins later however before any starter had arrived. Mentioned this and then staff scrambled to bring the starter and put on table after we already had our mains….politely explained we will now pass on the starter. Then the bill came which was completely wrong - a different tables. Went to the tills to resolve and they printed a new one - however also incorrect with an additional duo of vegan margaritas hiding at the bottom, things were starting to turn a little comical now. 3rd time lucky got the correct bill and kindly they removed the £5 service….overall a disappointing evening out to a restaurant we have thoroughly enjoyed in the past.

We had dinner here and the pizzas are delicious however the tables are too close to each other, you can hardly squeeze in to be able to sit. The place is quite loud so you cannot really have a conversation. Just go there if you want a quick delicious meal, I don’t think it is a great place for a sit down meal with friends and family.

We didn’t eat in, however the service was impeccable and the atmosphere so cozy, I’ll definitely reserve a table next time to enjoy the lovely Neapolitan vibes, they have wooden oven and good quality ingredients, the staff is very welcoming and friendly they deserve a 5 stars rate!! Not expensive at all

High place to eat pizza in Ealing! We always order delivery but walking around the area and wanting pizza there is no better place than Santa Maria! Authentic, rich and with an excellent variety. The San Danielle in particular is one of our favorites. Luigi took excellent care of us, making us feel at home! Very rich and good everything!

So I recently went to Santa Maria on one of my friend’s suggestion, I’m usually not a fan of Italian pizzas but after visiting this place my preferences has changed The food was very quick and well cooked, I really liked the staff and one of the waiters name Gajendra took care of my little 3 old baby in between. I would recommend this place of every pizza lover around and near ealing

It is usually my go-to place on weekends, whenever I crave some pizzas, It's been months since I have been a regular customer here, I keep trying different pizzas from the menu, my personal favorite is Santa Carmela, I really like the service and the staff also the food is always quick and well cooked.

Clearly not the Santa Maria of a few years ago I heard the management has been changed a few months ago No surprise , The starters without seasoning , the sauce was a Can Tomato ready made sauce The pizza was Ok but the Tomato sauce was the same Can Tomato sauce and very disappointing Take my advice and go somewhere else

Visited on Saturday, food was nice although the waiter took my order wrong, I still ate it because I was in a rush. Service wasn’t so good, also sat next to the kitchen which was very loud and can visibly see issues between the kitchen and restaurant servers.

This restaurant has a soul and a friendly atmosphere, despite its dilapidated condition. Or maybe it’s their interior style which is very weird for me. But seems it’s the one place where tables are not sticky but quite clean. Also the staff is always friendly and smiling, especially the girl from Ukraine. We support her and will come again and again. She always helps with choosing dishes and despite what has happened in her native home, she keeps herself firmly dignified and with a smile.

The place has cockroaches and I was told by an old member of staff they have no interest of getting rid of them they just have a few traps down ,also the manager is extremely incompetent and has terrible customer service he came over to my table didn’t even say greet us just asked “what do you guys want to eat” and was over friendly with my daughter made us both feel extremely uncomfortable.

The manager of the place was very rude, they were not friendly at all, the food was cold and they did not bring me what I wanted.

I recently visited Santa Maria Pizzeria in Ealing with my girlfriend, and overall, it was a delightful experience with a few minor hiccups. Upon arrival, the restaurant was fairly empty, which made it easier to find a seat. However, the tables were a bit dirty when we sat down, but the staff quickly attended to it and cleaned it up, which I appreciated. Despite being quiet, the waiters seemed a bit tired. They forgot some of our orders initially and kept asking us if we wanted to place an order, even after we had already done so. It was clear they were a bit worn out, but they still maintained a friendly and polite demeanour throughout. When it came to the food, it was fantastic. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of flavours and a great texture. I’d highly recommend trying their Malbec wine, which paired beautifully with the pizza. For dessert, they kindly offered us a complimentary tiramisu and another cake, a lovely goodwill gesture that was much appreciated. The service, despite the small hiccups, was impeccable and very welcoming. The staff did their best, even though they seemed a bit exhausted, and I completely understand. The gesture of free dessert definitely made up for any minor missteps. In summary, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cosy. I would definitely love to visit again!
