So disappointed! The food was nothing more than a microwave school dinner. We ordered a ‘special’ dish for £23 which was inedible due to half the meat being fat, cheap cut and not as described. Very poor quality. Frozen or microwaved veg, little attention to anything including service which was rather rude. Such a shame as we were looking forward to it. Kindly they removed the special dish from the bill but won’t be back sadly.

Very disappointed. This came highly recommended. Looked at menu before we went, seemed to be a bit pricey compared to other Italian restaurants we have visited but thought it would be worth it if the food is good. I have never had to ask for salt in an Italian restaurant before, but the food here was tasteless. Garlic prawns with garlic butter, no bread? Potatoes tasted like they’d been reheated. Bruschetta was basically tomatoes on toast. Desserts were bland and tarted up with fancy writing. Overpriced for bland food and poor service. Will not visit again.

I had the sea bass which was cooked perfect.and seasoned well. I think it could get noisy in the main area but fortunately we were sat in an small area with ònly six tables.

Celebrated my Grandaughters 11th birthday. It was a lovely evening and the food is excellent. Great staff. We will definitely be returning soon.

It's a loud place when busy. But the staff are great and the food great.

We absolutely love Zero great food everytime, the service is always 100% sometimes it can be a little noisy but we know that and it never effects our visit

We had a lovely lunch before going to a local hotel. We had gnocchi and spaghetti Bolognese both of which were great. The staff were really helpful getting a taxi to take us to the hotel. I would definitely recommend

Always exceptional. Feel so lucky to have this on our doorstep. If you get a chance, get the rib-eye. I've had steak all over the world in some of the "best steakhouses". This is just as good if not better.

Family lunch on a Saturday was very good food - excellent pizza and pasta especially carbonara and monkfish & tomato linguine. Lovely bottle of Pinot Grigio blush. Tiramisu was wonderful, quiet and unhurried service. Will happily return.

I had dinner here multiple times during a business trip. The food was delicious and they had some excellent Italian wines.

Great pizza, wasn't a fan of the pasta, the penne ariabhatta and nochi was very bland. I would go back for the pizza.

Very tasty and fresh Italian food. We’ll paired Italian wine and the staff are all very friendly. Tried a few different dishes here over the years and I’ve never been disappointed. The scallops or prawn linguine are excellent.. consistency in presentation and taste since I first attended in 2020. Only advice I would give is when the restaurant is busy the service can take a while and it can be particularly noisy due to the layout… but definitely a restaurant I look forward too.

Food and service always superb.

We were in the institution for the first time and probably the last time. We came in specifically to eat pizza, and it turned out to be very tasty. But the service is terrible: at first, the employees stood over their heads, just demanding that we order drinks sooner, and after serving the drinks, they simply forgot about us for a long time, so we even wanted to go to another pizzeria. At the same time, waiters serve large tables quickly and more kindly!

Fantastic place, great food and venue

Staff little too blunt,unrefined basically. Could do with some more interpersonal training and the way food served needs some polish ,A little more common sense and courtesy would not go amiss either.

We went to zeros last night a table of 2 they took our order. And the food was lovely, but it took forever to arrive we got a starter and a main and the starter took 40minutes to arrive and the main took another 25-30minutes after the starter, the staff was all over the place there was no structure they seemed to favour bigger tables where more money was being spent. We won’t be returning.

Lovely evening out for our date night. Service was 10/10 I wish I could remember our servers name, He was outstanding! Food was very good.

All four of our party of senior gents from Portsmouth agreed that the meal could not be faulted, cooked to perfection. Three cheers for the staff, particularly Olivia, who could not have made us more welcome.

A spacious and roomy venue where great great great food can be found, but not a lot of service! Arriving on a Tuesday night, we chose zero for the evening dinner and entered to a nice atmosphere and were seated straight away. The menu was stacked with choice and Capesante e pancetta for a starter was absolutely stunning! Beautiful scallops wrapped in a bacon on the most well made mustard sauce with spinach underneath. An absolute MUST for those looking to have a perfectly balanced start to a meal. My partner got the bruschetta which was one of the better versions, all the flavours were mild and complimented each. For mains, on my journey to find the best pizza, simply ordered a simple Neapolitan margherita while the other half got a funghi tagliatelle pasta. The pizza found doughy crusts and a nice spread of cheese, a very solid pizza overall but could of done with a crispier finish. Her pasta was very well balanced with flavor’s in great combination. She also ordered a side of sautéed potatoes due to urges for carbs. Potatoes had a unique but very pleasant flavor, some slightly over salted. THE CRÈME BRULEEEE is something to write home about, a creamy delight which adding with the crunchy caramelized top, finished the meal perfectly! Our only slight of the night was the service while both servers were smiling and helpful, couldn’t be found most of the night. We had to call them over for the bill and then again for the card machine. Large gaps between finishing our food and waiting to be cleared could easily be solved and bring the hero status! Total bill around £100. Taste - 2.5/3 Ambience - 2/3 Value - 2.4/3 Service - 0.4/10 Scores on the doors 7.3/10 Well worth a visit for some excellent food, just don’t be in a rush!

We came with two children who were playing, and we were told that customers were complaining due to playful noise. The food was late and when it came was rushed and not very flavourful. If you are family I would avoid.

My family and I have been eating here for 11 years. Birthdays, celebrations, casual dining...whatever excuse we have to attend we will! I've read a few negative reviews and it must have been an off day because we eat here once a week and the food is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The best Italian around!! Here is to another 11 years !

I booked a table for ten over the phone. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and the table was set up. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent and the staff attentive at all times. While visiting Ware, a small gem hidden opposite the Waterside Inn pub. Nice ambient atmosphere, food exceeded our expectations, strongly recommend to try Zero's hospitality , as while my family enjoyed pizzas and pasta dishes, I fallen in love for calf liver with caramelized onion and sauté patotoes.

Average food for the price I thought. I got the garlic pizza bread which was what you would expect and the lamb chops for mains, I found the chops to be very average and not very seasoned

Visited friends for a birthday, restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night. As per other revues the room is very noisy and echoes so conversation is hard on a table unless shouting. Menu had a good variety, a little expensive but was served hot, but nothing to write home about. Staff were not that attentive, taking orders quickly but not checking on us after that. Nice place but I thought it would have been better, perhaps some sound proofing so it’s not so loud inside.

Big fan of zeros, very good food with the wild boar ragu a particular favourite, not just the average dishes on the menu here so there always something new to try. Wine list is fantastic and have always enjoyed a bottle of barolo with a meal, difficult to find In restaurants these

Great food and choice of menu. Very chilly air conditioner and staff not as attentive - didn't ask if we enjoyed the meal or if we needed to request a dessert or coffee so we paid and left. Quite noisy atmosphere and would return as food is so good.

I didn't eat in, I grabbed a couple of calzone on my way home from work. Phoned up and ready in 20 mins. Lovely friendly people and delicious calzone! Have eaten in before and was great but this take out option was perfect after work

We went to Zerozero restaurant and had the time of the week, food was exceptionally delicious. As an Italian myself I felt I was home. The owners and the stuff are lovely, we’ve been welcomed to our tables and introduced to some amazing starters while decinding what to have as a main. I honestly felt I was in Italy, everything was smooth and efficient. Clean place, delicious food and efficient service. I would recommend 100%.

We are regular visitors to this restaurant in Ware and have been for many years taking our friends and family on many different occasions. The place is always busy which tells you that people are happy with the food. Our grandchildren are always happy with visiting Zero's and what is there not to dislike beautiful fish, pasta, and pizza oven warm and friendly staff.

Overall, really good experience. Only loses a star as restaurant was packed during our visit and therefore pretty noisy. Pleased for Zero that they are still a buoyant business but service was hampered by having so many customers. Food was very nice and almost 5 stars. Also, could offer more vegan options.

Haven't been here for a while. The menu is not as good as it was once was, although the food available is good. The restaurant still suffers from a lack of soft furnishings to absorb the noise made by all patrons. This makes it hard to have a conversation and as a result everyone talks louder.

We met here for a family reunion. The food had been preordered the day before. We arrived and it seemed very disorganised. Our food came out in stages with a 15 minute gap. No apology. Orders were missed - had to ask 4 times for a side salad. When were talking there was one of the staff - a middle aged man - literally barged past me on more than one occasion, almost knocking me off my feet. No apology whatsoever!!! They have obviously put too many covers in the restaurant for the space they had. The food was mediocre at best and the service poor with one particular very rude staff member. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not be visiting again. Very poor.

Just a quick note to say thanks for Sunday, we had a booking for 9 by the window. Food was excellent, steak and pizzas delicious! We've been a few times and this was the best so far. Thanks again, please pass on our thanks. Jon

Been dining at zeros for a few years without a problem and would always return regularly. The last time we went staff were rude and pretty much ignored us. It was a busy night so we just eat, paid and left, nothing said. Tried it again tonight. Ordered a fillet steak that was £30 but no bigger than a cupcake and as flat as a pancake. I asked for it to be cooked medium-well (but more med). Yet It was burnt and very well done. I sent it back. No way that was a fillet! Never sent back food before. My plate was later returned with a slightly bigger steak but more of a cheap thin cut, very thin scrap of meat. Certainly no fillet again! It was bone dry, not seasoned, cheap meat, not a fillet and not worth £30, wasn’t worth £10 let alone £30. We were a group of 4 and didn’t I want to spoil the night of our Christmas catch up by sending it back again for the second time, even though they were all horrified and finished their meals by the time mine arrived. It’s a shame they have let the restaurant fail like this.

We haven’t been here for a while, called up for a last minute early reservation the week before Xmas. We got fitted in and never felt rushed with the service as great as always. Food incredible, and our 5 year old Goddaughter was made to feel so special. Such a wonderful family restaurant which never lets us down. Thank you for another really lovely evening

I bought 2 takeaway pizzas from zeros and was overcharged. When I told them the next day they said they had updated the price list and it was a problem with my phone that I was seeing the wrong prices which is not the case...

Appalling customer service. Their online takeaway menu prices are out of date. They were adamant it was a problem with my phone! Zero for customer service!

Second visit for me yesterday. First experience we went in 30 mins before close so was all a bit of a rush and difficult to gauge. Yesterday we had a table booked and were repeatedly told we had to be done in under 90 minutes. The place was full to the rafters, but I know not why. The service was just about acceptable, the food was bland. What really cheesed me off was the £17.50 "service charge" on the bill. I should've refused to pay it. I won't be returning anytime soon.

The restaurant is very big. If you you want intimate then this isn't the place. Its well presented and modern scrupulously clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is lovely. So fresh and well presented. Our grandson had a pizza. It is definitely one of the best we have had outside of Italy. The base was crisp. Wonderful. A little pricey. Great food. Worth a visit.

Pizza was OK, nice coffe...but this place has ZERO atmosphere (that's where the name came from I guess), staff not too friendly and some of the older chaps seems a bit rude tbh. And you'll get "service charge" on your bill regardless if you happy or not. So after all a bit disappointed

Service was very very slow. Took forever to bring the food. Entire evening was spoilt. By the time the food came, we lost interest. Food was OK.
