My friend and I came in for dinner. We come here as the staff are always friendly and helpful especially Krzysztof. The food was good and we enjoyed Sitting outside on the terrace.

I recently visited Prezzo in Bishop’s Stortford and had a fantastic experience. Everything was brilliant — from the food to the atmosphere — but what really made the evening special was the exceptional service provided by Zosia. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Her professionalism and warm attitude truly stood out and made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was ok but very limited options on a buy a gift voucher.

A good Italian restaurant chain with an extensive menu and excellent service. The food was decent, especially the Italian sausage pizza I ordered, and their tiramisu for dessert was also good. We came as a large group but the food was served quickly and at the same time. The place itself was well-decorated and a comfortable place to have a meal. If you challenge the wait staff to rock, paper, scissors and win you also get two for one dessert. Overall a good experience, I would definitely recommend.

Had a plate of Rigatoni Arrabbiata! Was delicious. Only negative was that the staff who served us seemed like they didnt welcome me and my partner, and that we were a bother. Unsure what that was about, and it will probably affect me recommending the restaurant to others in the future. Food and atmosphere were great, but service was severely lacking.

Ordered the new summer pasta special which comes with peas & spinach. However no peas!!!! When brought to the attention we were told 'no peas' even though main staple of the dish. Yes we were offered an alternative vegetable after we brought it to their attention. The meal was half eaten before we recieved some broccolli. No apology just that the waitress forgot to mention they had run out of peas (one of three main ingredients) we used to love prezzos but it has changed so much.

Decided to come here to eat after a long drive before checking into our airport hotel for an early flight in the morning. We had a tastecard (2 for 1) & even then we felt we’d been ripped off. Booked a table but were greeted with, really?!? No hello, no smile, no welcome. I’m not sure we received a smile from staff at any point during our visit. We both had pasta dishes. Both pretty tasteless. And the chicken was cold. The waitress’s answer was that it can’t be raw because it’s pre-cooked. And when we said it should at least be re-heated all the way through, she just shrugged. All very disappointing. Suggest you avoid this place!

Yesterday i order foods by Uber eat and i have some issue with the driver , i didn't receive my pizza and i call Prezzo to explain the situation, someone on the phone was very helpfuly and sort out my problem . I was verry happy and pizza was amazing. Thank you Prezzo 5 star service.

I was not informed this restaurant does not accept pound sterling, and when trying to pay with cash, I was told I could not. Well, on this particular occasion, I had cash on me and could not pay by card. I was embarrassed by the waitress who asked "why don't you have a card", I did, but I refuse to accept we cannot spend legal tender in Britain. I had the manager attend, and I was told again, we don't accept cash. Well, I put the cash on the table and left the restaurant, I've not been arrested yet, so perhaps paying in pound sterling is not yet a 'nickable offence'. Won't be returning.

First-time visiting here. Really warm welcome at the door. We were acknowledged immediately. Isabella gave us lovely, polite, friendly service throughout our visit, checking in on us several times. Thanks. Food was good and as expected. Restaurant was clean. A special mention about the toilets. They were very clean and smelt fresh. A big deal and a true reflection of staff paying attention. Only one small feedback would be the coffee tasted a bit bitter with that machine taste. Could the coffee machine need a thorough clean maybe? Otherwise, great.

Great place for anyone to go for anything. The staff are kind and welcoming. The kids meals are quite big and the adult meals are big enough for anyone.

Haven’t been to Bishop Stortford for a few years there is an absolute huge range of restaurants to visit. Whatever you do stay away from this one. We turned up me and my wife the waitress asked what drinks we would like. I said I have a Peroni she sarcastically tells me they do something else. My first question was that’s fine. Is it similar to Peroni? Is it lager, abruptly answers me it’s a lager. I own restaurants I eat out at least 3 to 4 times a week so I’m very familiar with the Italian cuisine as it’s one of my favourites. My wife ordered a spaghetti Bolognese and I ordered the lasagna and some olives for starters. I swear to you on anything you want, our food took three minutes and it was on our table absolutely microwaved oblated. I really did try and be polite and eat my lasagna. There was zero meat there was a touch of sauce and a lump of cheese melted in a terracotta pot which would make anyone ill when I asked the waitress. I’m sorry but I really can’t eat all this cheese, she answers me but lasagna has cheese no apologies no nothing just defensive argumentative. My wife was a lot polite than me and at her blang spaghetti Bolognese. I genuinely couldn’t eat a lump of cheese so I returned mine without even a mouthful. There was sarcasm there was defence and there was zero apologies or sincerity to help you. Clearly, I didn’t want to argue in a restaurant. I waited for the bill to come and I paid £17, for a lump of cheese that was melted in a terracotta pot which I didn’t even eat when asking the waitress why am I paying for it? She shrugged her shoulders so as the person I am I paid my bill. I’m putting a review to warn other people not to spend their harder money in this place. I absolutely will never return to this establishment. Great shame.

Food is a bit bland, not as good as I remember it. The margherita pizza is utterly forgetful. Mixed salad was embarrassing, looked like something out of Tesco Express. The two waitresses that served us were really, really grumpy and one in particular came across as a bit hostile. Pretty forgettable experience.

Lovely staff. They were attentive from the moment we came in and provided us with a superb experience. The food was amazing and they even brought out my daughters dessert with a candle for her birthday. Highly recommend

I normally LOVE Prezzo. It’s reliably good value food. However, I ordered lunch today (Deliveroo - very nice driver!) and I couldn’t even finish it. Ordered a Carbonara - it was ‘noodles in water’ to put it kindly. There was also part of a green scourer sponge in it. It was disgusting. Will never order from, or eat in, a Prezzo again. VILE

I was reminded why these days we don't eat out like we used to. The menu was varied but the prices are high (for what you get). £16 for a spag bol and the kids menu of £7.95 for what our son received was expensive too. Best off with a M&S meal deal....won't be returning....

Food tasted like a ready meal. Awful. Cant pay with cash either!

Asked if we could sit at the round table. Couldn’t sit there b cause it seated 6.? No one else in restaurant. Rude waitress made us sit in other place. (In a total empty place). Food arrived. Pizza not homemade. Lasagne Ok. Chicken ok . Toilets broken, couldn’t flush. Dirty. Not money we’ll spent.

We had a very good meal here, although we did go at 17:30, but that was our choice. Good service all round.

Went there for lunch with a friend, there has no set lunch menu as it used to have. We had king prawn risotto and strawberry lemonade, the risotto is quite small in portion , I think it’s a bit overpriced for its portion, the lemonade is over sugary, it was very quiet on a Thursday afternoon, nice place to chill and chat with a friend.

starters and mains were decent, however one of the desserts was served with gross, brown bananas, one of which had a hair underneath so it was not eaten. really unhappy with this, unlikely to return.

Went to the Prezzo bishops Stortford for my sons 23rd birthday. Thought I would treat my family for a nice pizza! My son had the burger which was good! His partner had the arribiata pasta which was also good! Me and my youngest son, had the pizzas! Now, because I'm of sicilian origin, I shouldn't compare! But I am!!! The pizzas looked like they had been made with a biscuits and just added the tomato and cheese base to make it look like a pizza! For £12.50 I would have expected a pizza like my mum used to make! Instead, it was like a pizza I had bought from icelands! So, in a nut shell! Your pizzas need a massive overhaul big time because they were awful...... Vince

Met other nanny as surprise for our grandson. Had lovely get together. Unfortunately nanny j had a fall outside on the steps. The staff were very good, called ambulance and attended to her as well as guests inside. All was ok and they called a taxi to get her home. Thank you to caring staff. Excellent Ewka! I came in a week or so ago with my Dad, without booking, and Ewka managed to squeeze us in! She was also so friendly and kind, really personable, and possibly one of the nicest waitresses I've ever been served by! She also applied a Teacher's discount to my order (when presented with my NUS card), which was so lovely, and a generally kind gesture. Thank you for being so wonderful and accommodating ☀️

From the moment of stepping foot into the restaurant, the waitress was nonchalant and unwelcoming, however, I chose to stay as my son had insisted he wanted to eat here. Upon sitting at the table, my cutlery and glass were both dirty, which I had to bring to the attention of the waitress before being changed. The glass my cocktail was served in was also dirty and had to be sent back. The food was ok, however, the service was atrocious, and to top it off, I was overcharged. When brought to their attention, I was met with rude and abrupt responses and a subpar apology. I asked for a receipt or reference for the refund and was given a card with a number to call if the money didn't reflect in my account after a few days. I definitely won't be returning.

First visit to this branch of Prezzo ,very enjoyable-staff were attentive despite it being busy and the food was well presented and tasty .Will certainly make a return visit .

To be honest , only went to use up some Tesco vouchers . I really would avoid this place . The food came up so quick it must just be thrown on the plate and microwaved . The waitress could not of been more miserable if she tried . I would rather not eat out than go here again . A miserable experience .

Had a really good evening family supper. Staff were attentive and jolly.

The waiter at the beginning was lovely. The food was great. But after the food we were served by a lady. Honestly she was extremely rude. We were trying to pay, and being patient with ourselves, and the lady was giving us dirty looks and not being patient, shook her finger in our face, wasn't trying to help and when she got fed up with us she just left to serve another table whilst we were still trying to pay. Never offered alternative ways to pay whilst we were struggling to pay because her card machine wasn't working, wouldn't let us pay in cash and other another customer also suggested there was something wrong with the machine but shut us down.

Hadn't been out for a family meal in a while, so I booked a table and was really looking forward to this. Nice atmosphere, however the service was poor. Only 1 waitress working from what we could see. Restaurant was probably 70% full so was fairly busy. Slow to get menus slow to order drinks and food very slow to have food brought out. When it was brought out our starters were luke warm, as was main meal. I ordered the juicy chicken breast (this is how it's described on the menu) It was tough chewey over cooked and cold. I didn't complain as didn't want to disrupt my evening or embarrass my family as I literally could have complained about everything. The food was very overpriced for what it was. Won't be going again. Really disappointed such a lot of money we didn't have felt wasted.

Will not be eating here again. My sons starter of veggie sticks and hummus had very dry pieces of cucumber and pepper. The main of tomato and pasta rigatoni was very watery. My pizza chicken & pepper only had 3 pieces of pepper on it. Waitress was polite and friendly. Price was good too just a shame about the food quality.

Don’t come here if you have cibophobia ! My rating would be lower if it wasn’t for the waitress being so nice. Ordered a chicken burger ate half of it and thought the texture felt off so checked and the chicken was raw in the middle. Not just a little undercooked I mean completely raw! The waitress was super apologetic and took the meal of the bill. Honestly couldn’t fault her in how she dealt with it but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

The food is delicious and the price is also good, paid 20£ for food and a glass of wine. Waitresses are kind of grumpy and don't really seem to love their job; I did not see any smile on their faces, sadly. The restaurant was really busy and people were screaming which made the experience less interesting. All things considered, it was a great Italian restaurant.

Honestly, for a chain restaurant I had the best Italian dinner I have ever tasted. It was gorgeous. I didn’t want it to end. I had my reservations but was shocked at how good the food was. My family said the same.

Today we visited Prezzos for my son's 13th birthday with friends. Booking was really easy and staff helped me make the visit special by preparing the table with decorations and allowing additional time to accommodate cutting the birthday cake with his friends. The group all enjoyed their pizzas and starters. Food was presented and cooked very well. Very tasty. Staff were attentive and atmosphere was great. Definitely will be booking again in the future. Nice dishes, quite varied as opposed to many "Italian" restaurants that just serve mediocre pizzas. Service is good and a nice drinks menu.

Stopped for dinner on way to Stansted Airport and was really good. Pasta good, calzone very good, service was a little slow but they were busy.

Excellent meal and excellent service. As there was a large party, Olexandra the waitress helped us out by placing us out of the way into a nice quiet corner which suited us. Well looked after and would definitely go again.

An easy go- to with an Italian style menu. Food is tasty, Limited vegetarian options but some choice! Service can be a bit slow but staff are friendly and happy to help. Atmosphere can lack a little sometimes but you are able to have a conversation and it's not too loud

We were served very quickly but sadly enough the food wasn't great. We got some entree which was pretty decent although only four balls. My ravioli with mushrooms was not up to the standards, the mushrooms were uncooked, cut in massive pieces, the salsa was flavourless and the pasta wasn't amazing. They had added so much mint that was all you could taste (not just the leaves but the whole thing). The house wine wasn't great either. However, my partner's carbonara was quite decent and he got way more quantity than me.

Always love Prezzo. Good selection of food. Waiter was superb and very friendly even though we turned up late in the evening. None of the normal we want to go home early attitude. Pizza was fantastic. Toilets clean. Drinks menu reasonable. A good night. 5*

The food is good, somewhere inbetween ASK and Pizza Express. Even though my girlfriend and I could tell our server was extremely busy, they didn't let the stress show. They were efficient, fast, polite and charming.

The worst restaurant, I was here on Valentine's Day and it ruined my evening, I asked the girl to bring us an appetizer, and she brought us straight pasta and pizza, a horrible cocktail that didn't taste like anything, the pasta was horrible, and the chicken was undercooked. and the interior was decorated and filthy, I don't recommend it if you don't want to ruin your day 👎🏻.

Had a meal last night, sadly spoilt by extremely noisy table behind us, impossible to hear the person opposite speaking. My seafood ravioli was very nice but friends burger was totally bland as was the supposed spicy sauce. Have been to better places.
