The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We went for dinner after visiting the Harry Potter studios and we arrived a little late but they served us without any problems, the staff was super friendly and the food was 10, the truth is that it was a great decision to choose it, if you pass through Watford don't hesitate to look for it.

We had an early Saturday lunch for six - booked for Noon. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken quickly, but the food was slow in coming (main course approx 45 minutes from arriving and without having starters). The adult main courses were all very enjoyable (3 pizzas and one spaghetti carbonara with added chicken). We went 'large' for the 2 children's meals (aged 8 and 5), but whilst the pasta dish was a decent size the child's large pizza was surprisingly small - so small we thought it must be the small version and we had to top it up with pizza slices from the adult pizzas. Adult desserts were disappointing (tiramisu and millionaire doughnuts) for the prices charged. The Strawberry lemonade was also very disappointing with a lot more ice than liquid in the tumbler. Staff were nice and particularly good with the children (e.g. getting down to their levels to take their orders). In all honesty, Wildwood and Zizzi's both offer better value children's meals.

Pizza costs between 11 and 15 pounds (the most expensive). The Nutella one 6 pounds. Fine dough, excellent, delicious wine! Highly recommended

Absolutely lovely restaurant, we had veal schnitzel, salad and amazing pizzas. All perfectly cooked, fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very clean, staff attentive and friendly. Perfect location opposite Apollo theatre and great value for money. We would highly recommend this independent restaurant. 5*

I came here for a girls night out last saturday. I was greeted with amazing service from Aaliyah, she made my whole party feel so comfortable. Pizza 8 was beautiful! Will definitely return.

Food was generally ok but nasty little scam goes on where they bring the bill and it says tip not included but if you check the items & add it up you will notice that they have included a service charge. When you go to pay then they will either add a service charge on or ask for it if your paying cash thereby getting 2 service charges. Talk about sleight of hand. Such a shame they let themselves down with this devious little trick as otherwise it’s quite a nice little place . Just be sure to CHECK YOUR BILL ( & by the way it’s not a one off as I’ve been here several times and they always do it but it has become very annoying )

Due to an undelivered Uber order the night before (not the restaurants fault as the driver collected it), we were offered a table. We had a lovely impromptu date night. The service was excellent to all the tables. Many thanks to Kieran and our lovely waiter. We will be back again.

Came here with a hen party big group during busy goth weekend, they very kindly opened up early for our group (planned ahead of time). The staff were phenomenal, friendly and on the ball with their service. They gave us recommendations for where to go out after and we’re so energetic with us. The food came out hot, delicious and fast with very generous portions. You set up our day so well, couldn’t have been better. Thank you

The staff at this Bella Italia Location are so friendly and kind, we had the best possible service and I cant explain enough how thankful our waiter was for taking these photos. The food was incredible as perscribed via the pictures below. Well done!

Ho cenato in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia in occasione di un week end londinese. Su indicazione dei miei figli e mia moglie che sono dei seguaci di Masterchef abbiamo provveduto a prenotare direttamente dal sito on line. Il Ristorante si trova nel bellissimo quartiere Marylebone. La location è molto bella ed elegante. Servizio professionale e fin troppo attento. Piatti molto buoni ma prezzo troppo alti anche x un ristorante stellato.

Después de haber utilizado esta cadena muchas veces antes, decidí usar el restaurante para una comida post teatro. Joanna era muy acogedor y servicial en todo momento. No podía ser culpada. Sin embargo, no podía decirse lo mismo de la comida. Las 5 libras. El pan de ajo de 99 valías estaba frío y más bien era crujiente gigante. El pollo cacciatore que mi marido eligió era de una buena porción y sabroso. No se podría decir lo mismo de mi risotto de setas. Apenas tenía el tamaño de una porción inicial. El sabor era bueno, pero la experiencia en general se estropeó por la falta de comida. Si esta hubiera sido nuestra primera experiencia de Bella Italia, probablemente sería la última. Consejo principal - no menciones que tienes una tarjeta de sabor hasta el final de tu comida!
