We met my wife's cousin and family for high tea/Diner at the Ask in Horsham. I would suggest that a pizza restaurant is in the very casual places to eat given that most consume pasta or posh cheese on toast which are not what you would call high end catering. We had a nice sized table to accommodate the 6 of us. It was good to see that the younger members can still have crayons and colouring sheets to amuse them before and between the arrival of the food. I remember my pasta being nicely cooked with all the pasta submerged in the sauce, there being nothing worse than hard, dried and slightly charred pasta as part of the eating experience, but this was just right. The younger members chose a starter pizza and ice-cream sundae which was just a step too far for one pair of pelican eyes. The staff were attentive considering the busy status of the restaurant and that it was busier than usual for a saturday evening as Horsham had it's fireworks the same evening we ate out. ASK is one of those idea family eating out venues judging by the numbers of families and small parties that were crowding the restaurant. We enjoyed the casual and relaxed atmosphere and the staff did their bit to smooth and speed things along which is important when younger diners are present.

First time visiting Ponte Di Legno and I was very impressed. Firstly, I must admit to not being a fan of Italian food, but this was an exception. Upon arrival I couldn’t believe how busy it was with a que forming from the inside and continuing outside which shows how popular this restaurant is. Luckily, I booked in advance and was seated very quickly. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was cosy and well laid out to accommodate many people on both sides of the restaurant. We were well looked after and didn’t feel forgotten at any point. The food here was amazing! I ordered the prawn starter and lamb shank for the main. As a lover of lamb, this was highly satisfying and the meat melts in your mouth. The gravy on top was also delicious. We also shared a range of breads which were all amazing in taste. Really pleased to have discovered Ponte Di Legno and would recommend anyone to try this place out, especially if you’re a fan of Italian food as it’s not likely to disappoint in my eyes with great quality food and preparation. Thank you to all the staff and I shall be returning in the future to sample more of the menu!

I used to go there in the past and food was better ,but yesterday took the grandkids ,and the food was very disappointing for 130 pounds .I had penne pollo Di fungio which had 3 small pieces of chicken ,spaggeti was not cooked properly(i had pasta not penne) drenched in wat felt like 2 kg of salt and drenched in a brown sauce with lots of mushrooms, wen the menu says chicken cream and mushrooms and wine why does it turn out brown?,my wife had carbonara ,also very salty, spaggeti very hard, and again very brown, bear in mind we didnt it meant to b white pasta, i thought carbonara meant to be creamy white, and ended up eating a lot of garlic bread ,which was also very soggy, very dissapointing overall will not be returning in that restaurant again.staff were good, there wen u need them ,,

Atmosphere. Pretty standard, nothing special. Service. Extremely slow and lacking at all phases. I've never seen 2 people stood around talking while waiting 10 minutes to have our plates cleared. I've also never seen someone sit down at the table they're cleaning and wiping down... I've also never known a waitress to not know the menu... Such as the Cannelloni... That doesn't need the "what pasta would you like with that?" question. Food. Ordered off the specials board. I'm not sure of the definition of special. I ordered the Tiger Prawns in a garlic, white wine, and butter sauce. TLDR. Bland, flavourless (unless you like butter). Prawns dubious and overcooked. The Prawns had three issues. Firstly an identity crisis. Having worked as a fishmonger for a few years, they looked and tasted suspiciously like King... But they were so overcooked (Shapes: C is Cooked, O is Overcooked), and drenched in butter they could have been anything by that point. The sauce was just butter. There were pockets of garlic, but I'm not sure if the white wine had been added - whoever added it knew how to cook with it. Tiramisu desert was also bland, and had clearly been sat in a fridge for a long time.
