Rip off uber delivery wheres the meat??? £10.99 for some pasta??

Floors could do with a wipe, starters were small and overpriced. Flies everywhere. Last time I’m going to any of these. Was disappointed last time. I’m done

Good food and very good service, the girl was nice and attentive without being overbearing. The pasta was very tasty, a pity that the portion is a little small for its price. I think I'll be back and try the pizza.

Rude manager, not attentive to customers. Asked to moved tables to one in the window which was a 2 and wouldn’t accommodate this request. Won’t be coming back.

We had an enjoyable meal and an exceptional dining experience while visiting family in Bristol. Our waitress, Amber, enhanced our experience with her friendliness, attentiveness, and overall delightful service. I hope her hard work and outstanding customer service skills are recognised. Great food and accommodating staff

We came in around 630 and it was packed, Kris was at the front and was so friendly. He let us know when a good time would be and when we came back he recognized us and greeted us warmly. The food and drink were amazing and everyone was so sweet to our 3 year old. Kris and a lady with black hair were just such a great team. We didn't feel rushed and were well taken care of. Kris provided some local knowledge for us like he was chatting up with an old friend, we loved it!

Excellent meal,served by very friendly staff. Had a voucher which made it good value. Will be using Bella Italia again. Three stars for atmosphere, unfortunately noisy children dropping things on floor,etc., Not resteraunts fault.

Bella Italia is a nice spot to grab something Italian. The food is good, could have more taste but is satisfying enough. The staff were really polite and nice and the aesthetics of the restaurant are really clean and nice.

Me and my wife visited this place before going to a show we were greeted with a friendly welcome And they took are orders quickly I opted for the spicy sausage pasta which was nice if not abit expensive my wife had a pizza which wasn't that special cheese was rubbery and not very warm we wouldn't usually vist this place we only had a free main voucher overall I would recommend this place just abit pricey will definitely be visiting again

My Bella experience in York many years ago put me off ever coming back but I actually enjoyed this one. The student (studying English Lit) who served me made me feel very welcome. The food is always mediocre but the garlic prawn start and the red wine were top notch.

We booked to share a meal with family yo celebrate our daughter's graduation. The service from the staff was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Our waitress, Amber, was superb. She coukd not have been more professional and helpful and made the evening very relaxed and even more enjoyable. Thank you, Amber and the team.

£15 pizza and there are barely any toppings on it. Pretty much one quarter of a slice of ham between half a pizza. Pathetic.

Good selection of Italian food with friendly service especially the management in this store. Important to book during the busy times as often it is full and they are unable to take walk in. Nice place to go to before going to the theatre nearby.

Whilst the food was good, the manager Chris is ruining the company brand here with his attitude! Prompted by signs on the table we obtained a code for free main meal, telling the server this when ordering. We were told manager had an issue with use of this offer as 2 in the group were ordering set menu, to which we said we’d pay as 2 tables and so fully comply with all t’s and c’s. Rather than telling us this was an issue they took our orders, served the food and only at the end did the manager say he could not apply the discount and we had to pay in full! This left us with no other option, which he knew very well. Certainly left a sour taste in our mouths on my daughter’s birthday :( Chris showed zero compassion, flexibility or even desire for a positive outcome. We could see other customers having similar issues and the restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night as others have clearly caught on. I’ll be going to Bella Italia again, but not this one - suspect it will close down anyway

Arrived early but table was clean and ready to go. Staff were fast and efficient and food was made with great quality and care.

We were a large party of 20 for a hen party Friday night. All staff were friendly and made the evening easy to organise with 20 people paying separately. Also, lots of GF options

Very good food and service. It is a fairly small place so can get quite loud when full. Tiramisu cocktail and duck pasta (Marco polo) was very good

do not recommend at all, food was very mid for the price of 14.99£, my pasta was mushy and overcooked. very soft texture which was weird, mushrooms were flavourful but chicken was dry. they charge for chilli sauce and chilli oil is complementary but didn’t pack any punch

Not a bad little restaurant. Food was a little bland and could use seasoning but the staff were lovely.

I went for ameal with a friend.We had 2 courses plus a drink. Staff were good as my friend fell off a chair and hit her head on a table. They got ice in a cloth to put on her her head. I phoned her partner who came to fetch her. The staff looked after my friend. I was very impressed with the meal andvwith the staff. 2 men picked my friend vup from the floor. I wentboff to the hippodrome as I was going to see a show my friends ticketrwas used by a man, thanks once again Bella italia tur your excellent service and helping my friend.

Had booked a table but unfortunately we were running late and missed our time slot. We explained when we arrived we were due to be at the theatre in an hour's time and would we have time to eat. Our served assured us if we just had a pasta dish it would be fine and we even had time to sneak in a desert and get to the show in time! Well done to our servers. You were brilliant and a credit to your company

Great spot if you're heading to Bristol Hippodrome. The staff are really nice and friendly. My family and I loved our meals – they were hot, tasty, and reasonably priced for a city centre restaurant. Kris, our host and waiter, took great care of us and suggested extras for our meals, like Garlic Crust on the pizza, which I totally agree with – it made a big difference and I ate every last bit of my pizza! Well done, we'll definitely come back! I highly recommend it!

Tasty food and friendly atmosphere

The choice and quality of food definitely reduced. We have been going to Bella Italia for many, many years.Only one fish alternative. Menu appears to be widening pizza choices only. The pasta choices not good and the quality of our food poor. Service excellent.

Charlie and Emmy were particularly great hostesses. Our children were very at home and made to feel very welcome. The food was great too (our youngest is particularly fussy) so great job all round, thanks

the food was cold the portion sizes were shockingly small it was greasy and when I rang the restaurant I was basically told they were part of a chain and they had cooked and delivered it according to the chains standards and there was nothing I could do about it nor could I have a refund. this is totally unacceptable bella italia should be ashamed, they let themselves down they let down me their customer and they let down just eat their delivery drivers who have to deliver their sub par food

Great food, very friendly staff who were kind enough to put up with one of our table being delayed. If you want a meal before the theatre then make sure you book - so many people were being turned away.

My sister and I visited yesturday before going to the Bristol old vic the meal we both had was excellent butternut squash risotto garlic green beans and tirimsu for dessert the waiter was brilliant nothing was to much trouble we both will visit again great value for money fantastic food

Best place to go before showtime! The staff are very welcoming, the food is tasty and value for money and the place did have a nice atmosphere, so much so that I tipped and left a review! I never tip 😆

We visited the restaurant prior to the show. Both waitresses made sure that we had the best time before the show. The food was spot on. Will highly recommend to anyone attending the show in the hippodrome as is very close and affordable.

Poor service , food soaked in oil and huge pieces of pancetta in the carbonara , the gamberi spaghetti tasteless . bruschetta we were six at the table and when the bruschetta arrived was one piece of bread of 10 cm . The prices are so high and the quality is very low plus the service was with the head in the air . Missing starter plates missing forkes. They re sitting at one table even checking out if we were needing something . Would not recommend .

we visited the restaurant last night. the server was great and she told us what is the best thing on the menu! she was right - pollo cacciatore was amazing ! will be visiting soon again!

Visited on a Saturday night. Was quite busy but not full. We got served quite quickly and drinks came straight away. Had to wait a while for our starters. We had the garlic prawns and the garlic dough balls. Both enjoyed our starters. We then had about a 40 minute wait after finishing our starters for our mains. The waitress walked past the table multiple times and didn’t clear our plates. Mains weren’t great. Chicken Milanese- best thing about it was that you had garlic butter so it had flavour! Pollo cacciatore- chicken in it was dry and the pancetta was so fatty. The onions were too chunky. We also had the flatbread with caramelised onions on the side- too much cheese which drowned the garlic and onions out. The table next to us complained and we understand why! They were given a non vegan meal even though that’s not what they ordered. They then got served chips that had been sitting on the ‘hot tray’ for at least 10 minutes so they got sent back! Not sure if they were understaffed or just had a bad day but service and food could have been better.

Unfortunately this was a big disappointing visit. We have ordered some food, tea and water. Tea pot and water glass dirty, small portion of food not worthy money. Only positive side was a waitress and customer service. Definitely won't visit again. Sorry

We came Friday at 9:20 pm they didn’t let us to get in because they want to close at 10 pm and there was many empty tables. We came again Saturday 12 pm and they didn’t let us to get in because we don’t have a reservation and the restaurant was almost empty.

Really great food, great service. Nothing was too much trouble. My daughter is super fussy and she ate everything and wanted more! Really would recommend a visit. The team were really upbeat, looking forward to coming back.

We had a very nice meal and the staff were helpful finding somewhere for my wheelchair but I felt quite rushed getting sat down so more customers could be seated. Food was served in good time and was piping hot. Overall we had a nice meal ahead of the Hippodrome matinee.
