Greeted in a friendly manner and organized our table quickly as we hadn't booked. The service from all team members were incredibly friendly and made us feel extremely relaxed and comfortable. The meals were delicious and authentic I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great evening out. A huge thank you to Gus for being so attentive to our party!

It was wonderful! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Well worth a visit. I would highly recommend. We had the burrata and Arancini to start, they were our favourites!

On arrival, the bar server, Tasha was welcoming and helpful and continued to be throughout . We met the Manager, Gus and he was so welcoming too. Goucalo greeted us with warmth also. I had the tastiest bruscetta classico and tagliolini tartfuto was delicious. Faultless service and quality of food. Most of all, the atmosphere, the experience and being made to feel like my birthday was extra special was thanks to the team. Thank you

I would love to be able to review the food, however I am here to review the experience. I had a booking on Saturday under my partners name. We rang in advance 5-6 times, and no one bothered to pick up the phone, despite the fact that the restaurant was not that busy when we arrived. Having come to the desk at the front, staff walked past us numerous times with absolutely 0 acknowledgement. After around 7-10 minutes of waiting to be shown to our table, we simply left and went next door to Cote. I don't know how you can be so challenged as an establishment that you don't train your staff to acknowledge a customer, seeing as a simple '' we will be with you in a moment'' would have sufficed. Overall, the menu looked great and it would've been a nice opportunity to try it out had this establishment actually catered to their customers who had a booking, and looked forward to trying the food

One of the worst meals I’ve eaten in a long time. Tasted awful, looked terrible, the pasta was uncooked on the edges and had so many crunchy bits in the first mouthful I couldn’t eat it. Pretty poor service to not take the meal off the bill after spending £1300 too. The waiters were lovely though!

I was visiting Bristol with a friend and our hotel was literally across the road so it was very convenient. We had a fab meal, the best Pinot Grigio I have ever had. Not bad prices either. We couldn’t make our minds up what to eat because it all sounded lovely. We decided to push the boat out and had the steak and lobster sharing platter. We worked out a main and starter plus dessert would cost as much or more. It was absolutely delicious and a real treat. The staff are amazing and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely go back.

Food was good if generic Italian. Service was attentive. Only complaint was that they were out of the first two starters I tried to order.

First time visiting Piccolino Bristol and it did not dissapoint. The food was plentiful and beautifully cooked. Service was quick & the staff were very attentive. Atmosphere was a bit lacking but that was probably due to the time of booking as we were going on somewhere so dined early. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant to others.

Really enjoyed our 3 course lunch in Puccolinos Bristol. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and all very reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend enough.

A nice venue in Cabot Circus in Bristol and decor is nice. The food is very good and a high standard. The cost is high with starters around the £12 mark and pasta mains from £17-22. So this can turn out to be quite expensive with an optional 10% service charge added to the bill. Service was slow considering the venue was not that busy

Alina was our main server when me and one friend visited, she was very attentive and friendly. The food was great and was a nice treat for lunch out with a friend. Restaurant was on the too warm side, but when we visited at the very start of June the weather was turning unseasonably cold, so must have been hard to predict and get right. Toilets could do with a bit of a spruce up, but the soap and hand cream were good quality we thought.

we came here on a tuesday afternoon,to celebrate a family birthday,2 adults,2 children. The service from Razvan was amazing,its what you want when you do go out for a meal.Razvan was so engaging with the children and was ultra patient and polite. We were treated as if we were really special,so thank you. Secondly the food prepared an cooked by Orijtian was superb,i had a vegan pasta the portion was huge,my DIL had the steak which she said was delicious. They even brought a small desert with a candle !!!which my grandchildren loved. We do not live in Bristol but would highly recomend,we had been before but due to are fantastic customer service an the food this vist was the best.Thank you to all for making the day special.

Very nice experience at Piccolino restaurant. Ingredients of very high quality and truly interesting menu. For the first time (and being Italian myself, this it is pretty special) I found friarielli vegetables abroad :). Try them if you do not have the chance of travelling to Naples anytime soon. I had a sea bream impeccably cooked with mediterranean roasted vegetables. The wine selection is great and varied. Far from the few standard commercial labels commonly found in British restaurants. I was served by Christian and he has been delightful. Definitely recommended.

Amazing service, fantastic food and a great evening !

Had a works meal here last night, not the first on tbh! Very welcoming upon arrival and once seated a high level of service was given. Was relatively quiet so food didn't take too long (can be an issue when very busy) and the 50% off wine through the app was a welcome bonus! All dishes served was thoroughly enjoyed by all, was top class cuisine. Sure I will be back again at somepoint amd many thanks to all the staff who made the whole experience a pleasant one.

The food was fantastic! I got the lunch special and it was an extraordinary value for the high quality prepa. Gonzalo's service made the experience extra special.

Very noisy, very over stretched staff, lovely waitress (Romona)

Noisy place where you cannot enjoy your food because of all the distraction and unable to have a conversation with whoever your sat with.

A generous 4 stars, this is based on the food that was very good and our waitress Alina. We had an early booking solely so we wouldn't be caught up in the evening rush. It the first time I've used the Bristol Piccolino. A table for 7 and we were sat for a fair while in a customer free restaurant before our drinks order was taken. We ordered food at the same time. There was no excuse for having to wait so long for food, kitchen back up? No, very few customers came in! Our waitress spoke to the kitchen several times. A family member went to the manager and told him it was totally unacceptable (this is a person who hates to complaint so shows it wasn't good!) , he agreed and spoke to the kitchen. More customers started to build up and then our order went to the wrong table that came in an hour after us and it was only 4 dishes, they eventually ended up coming to our table, we waited and waited for the other 3 which we asked for a few times. When the 3 arrived one was a half portion so went back immediately, another had to go back because it was cold so we finally ate. By then our drinks had finished! The food was lovely I had the chicken ceasar salad very nice, others had Calzone, tagliatelle, spaghetti everyone enjoyed it. We ordered desserts and ordered coffee for after, the wait began again our waitress chased them up and after a half hour wait they arrived. Tiramasu, pana cotta, choux cake, semifrodo all delicious again. Again we had to chase the coffee. Our waitress sorted it and was literally rushed off her feet, whether there was a staff shortage or what we don't know. The manager did deal with our 'concerns' very well but it was made clear that it was unacceptable. He has asked us to give Piccolinos Bristol another chance, we probably will because of the quality of the food . The choice of restaurant in Bristol was based on my previous visits to the Brighton venue, which I might add I've always found excellent. Bristol gets, a bit noisy but unfortunately that's down to guests that have probably been 'oiled' in advance of arriving hence us booking for an early sitting. Sort the kitchen delivery of dishes and it would have been spot on. Again thank you Alina for your service.

Personally, I would avoid this place. Last time I went was ten+ years ago, thought I would give it another go, would not go back for another decade. Why: - Food, poor - Carbonara was oily, and the pancetta was burnt (its a carbonara yet somehow messed up). The bruschetta was lacking basil, oil, flavour, just quite a poor job. - noise level - off the charts loud. do not go there for a date. - price - absolute rip off! 2x starter, 2x main, 2x non alcoholic drinks £90. for ITALIAN!!! PASTA!!

The food at Piccolino was to die for. We had the carbonara and salmon tagliatelle along with two starters. The food was only rivalled and bettered by the amazing service of Razvan who provided an intimate and light hearted touch to the meal. A huge shout to Razvan and the rest of the Piccolino team!

We visit Bristol frequently and This restaurant is super convenient to the Delta Hotel. The food and service are always outstanding. Alina in particular is really great.

Lovely restaurant and staff were friendly and gave a great service. However we asked for non alcoholic prosecco and they gave us alcoholic, they asked if either of us was driving home which I was but still continued to give us more. I came here for mine and my boyfriends anniversary and we ordered the gnocchi, but some of the pieces were hard and the following morning he was sick twice and is still feeling unwell at this moment in time. Very disappointing.

This restaurant truly catches the authentic essence of Italian cuisine. We tried the set menu of 3 courses and every dish had it's unique mixture of flavours. The desserts are particularly delicious and a must try. The ambience also keeps to the calming mood of the overall restaurant theme. We had the pleasure of being served by Razvan who was very friendly and welcoming, catering to our all needs. Truly recommend this.

The food was actually really good! My only complaint was having to watch one of the cooks sneeze twice and then proceed to continue cooking without washing his hands. I thought that was the worst of it, but then I saw one of the wait staff wiping their nose with their hand and proceeding to lay out cutlery. The sanitary conditions are definitely not up to par unfortunately, because the food was actually quite good with tons of gluten free options!

Great food, good atmosphere, poor service and found staff not very helpful, unenthusiastic. Starter came out late, main too close to starter coming out. Waited forever in between main and desert. Not great.

First time visiting this beautiful restaurant for a friends birthday. What a beautiful place where you can also see the chefs cooking. We were upstairs, the bathrooms are also tidy and clean. Staff I came across including the manager were all lovely and friendly even when paying bill separately at the end which doesn’t normally happen. Want to thank them all as I will be visiting again. The dish I had is not on the list below , it was Tagliatelle Salmon yum yum

Used to be a top restaurant. Visited again March 2024 and was very disappointed. Pizza was really hard to cut and chew, my daughters fishcake was hot on the outside and still frozen on the inside, service was slow considering there was only 3-4 tables occupied at the time and it’s REALLY expensive for what it is. Kids mains £10.50, kids desserts £6.75, starters and desserts all £8-10 each. The staff were polite enough but not particularly attentive. Very poor value for money and probably won’t be returning.

Had a fantastic, meal for 17 people. All food arrived at the same time, service was excellent. Couldn’t do enough for us. Thanks for making husbands 70th birthday memorable with family and friends.

Fantastic food I had spaghetti Bolognese tonight and it was so flavoursome I also had garlic bread expecting it to just be a couple small slices but it was like a huge pizza. I tried some of my sister's steak which was well done slightly pink in the middle and tasted amazing it wasn't dry it was very soft melt in your mouth absolutely beautiful ❤️ our waiter Razvan was really attentive so if you dine here be sure to ask for him and he'll look after you

Poor service, even worse microwaved food. Was served a stale low quality steak, when questioned the staff were rude and said I did not know what I was talking about, so he needed some educating and walked away in shame. The steak was replaced with one no better. The food is on the same level of quality of that you would get frozen from the supermarket and microwave meals. Two of our group who had seafood ended up with severe food poisoning. 1 star is too much for this place.

We're always made so welcome at Piccolino. Ramona and Razvan are genuinely the best hosts, incredibly professional and so warm and friendly, making us feel like special guests every time...I look forward to seeing them! They always remember my daughter's nut allergy and are impressively cautious about it, they know our drinks orders and take the time to chat - I really couldn't ask for better service. The food is consistently fabulous - tasty, varied, with something for everyone on the menu. I've enjoyed coming to Piccolino regularly for many years, be that for a work do, birthday, or just a friday night dinner...it was even one of the first restaurant deliveries we ordered over lockdown! It's a delicious family favourite and certainly my daughter's restaurant of choice...she says if she could only eat one thing forever it would be Piccolino spaghetti bolognese 😁

We have been visiting Piccolino in Bristol for over 10 years and during that time Ramona has looked after us so well. She is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble and all my family love her.
