5th March evening meal was WONDERFUL. Server's, management & bar man were a credit to restaurant. Service outstanding, food gorgeous, ambience perfect. We will return. Thank you Amarv, Ramqma & Razvam. Apologies if spelt names wrong

Although I am greatful that you were able to accommodate such a large party,you require to remove the following issues that I experienced. When booking state at the start of the booking process their will be a set menu, also do not try to withhold the children's menu in order to somehow force an order from the set adults menu, it took a number of emails to receive the bambino menu. this should have been sent the same time as the set adult menu. Food was fine , the decor was fine. On the night the only issue was the service, granted people weren't seating in an orderly fashion but this shouldn't have mattered. the only person with a degree of professionalism in this regard was the only female host( I didn't note her name) whom was the saving grace. 3star's only because it was a large party to cater for, take in these criticisms and you will have better reviews.

Visited with my mother in law, we were greeted with the friendliest of staff. Our waiter certainly added to the great experience. The food was absolutely lovely. If you are looking for a warm and welcoming dining experience, this place is a must!. Thank you to the staff for making our first time in Bristol memorable

Delicious food and lovely area, lots of seating and much larger than it appears from the outside. Food was really good and large portion sizes, well worth the price. Unfortunately the service was a bit disappointing, ordered starters that never arrived and had to ask again for the wine we ordered. All these forgotten items had been added to our bill at the end of the night.

We had an absolutely amazing Valentine’s Day meal here - the atmosphere is wonderful, the service is impeccable and the food was the best Italian I’ve ever had! Perfect venue for a special occasion!

The friend whom I had dinner at Piccolino's Bristol restaurant said, approvingly, "There's always something you'll enjoy on the menu at an Italian restaurant." He was right but that's not why I've kept going back to this restaurant year after year, ever since it first opened. It's because everything I've ever chosen from the menu has been really good. That said, I keep going back to the tagliata and linguine ai gamberoni! The wine list is excellent, as is the very professional and friendly service provided by Ramona and the team. The restaurant has given us memorable meals, from romantic dinners for two to working lunches to birthday parties (one, for my dad, for more than two dozen people). Our experience of 'Piccos,' as we call it, is so good that if we're travelling to another British city where we don't know the restaurants, we'll pick the local Piccolino, if there is one.

Great food, fabulous atmosphere & friendly staff. Food is always excellent & it is perfect for any occasion as it is always special. Special mention of Ramona.... perfect host!

I was looking forward to my NYE meal with family which it was really nice. But we had a bit of a wait for our booked table and when being sat a waiter hit me on the head with a metal pizza tray they didn’t seem very interested that this happened even when we asked for a move to a bigger table as our one was small in front of the food area. We also had a long wait for food and drinks even when some had been forgotten to be ordered. It would have been nice to of been offered a drink after being hit on the head but like I said they didn’t care.

Ramona is the best! Always helps in quick situations as we only have an hours lunch break from the office but she always pulls through!

We came in as a walk in and they were able to squeeze us in on a busy night, their service was absolutely amazing the food was exceptional and I would definitely recommend coming here.

Visited for dinner with my daughter and we had a wonderful time. Service was perfect (thank you, Cristian!) and food stunning. Would definitely recommend the tiramisu.

This was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had, and I won’t be returning. It was a friend’s birthday dinner, and since I can’t eat meat because it’s not halal, I asked the waiter, Alina, for a suggestion. She gave me a rude, judgmental look, which really surprised me. I was also seated in a cramped spot where my bag was on the side of my chair, and she kept bumping into it. I’m extremely disappointed. Alina, if you see this, just be kind. There’s no need for negativity; you could’ve simply said you weren’t sure and found someone else to help. The food was disappointing, too. The pasta wasn’t cooked properly, and honestly, I felt like I wasted my money. Definitely not ever coming back and I hope Alina doesn’t ever treat someone like that again.

We had an amazing Christmas party at piccolino Bristol . Friendly staff especially Alina and Cristian such a lovely guys . Drinks were well presented and tasty. Food was excellent ,full of rich flavours and good quality price . One of our best nights, definitively recommended thank you guys again see you soon ;)

We went here for a Christmas Do and while the food was okay it didn't really justify it's price tag. I'm especially annoyed as I was misled over the price of the set menu and they had no interest in trying to rectify it despite it being their mistake and actually a breach of consumer standards. I would not go again and have heard similar feedback about organised events here.

I had a really disappointing experience at Piccolino Bristol. My main course, the sea bass, was far too salty and oily, and the dessert—just a scoop of ice cream—tasted bitter and unpleasant. It was completely inedible, and I ended up paying £60 for a meal I couldn’t even enjoy. I honestly wouldn’t recommend Piccolino to anyone. The food was poor, the service was bad, and the hidden charges just added insult to injury. An awful dining experience all round.

We recently went for a work Christmas meal where we were informed before hand that two courses would cost £35. However, at the end of the meal, we were charged £45 for the same two courses. This was frustrating, as we wouldn’t have chosen this venue had we known the true cost upfront.

I had a really disappointing experience at Piccolino in Bristol. We booked for a group of 18 people and were told 2 courses would cost £35, which seemed fair. But when the bill came, everyone who had 2 courses was charged £44.95 – almost the price for 3 courses, which was closer to £50! This added up to an overcharge of £140 for our group. When we raised this with Nathan, he claimed it was a mistake in communication but still refused to adjust the bill after payment. It felt like a hidden fee, and honestly, we wouldn’t have chosen to eat there if we’d known the real cost beforehand. To make things worse, the food wasn’t great, and the service was really poor. For prices like this, you’d expect much higher standards. This isn’t just about the money – it’s about being treated fairly and having clear communication. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and definitely won’t be going back.

Cook was smoking vape in the kitchen, the staff were unprofessional (laughing and talking loud with each other) & the bill came with a £7 "optional service fee". Why am I forced to tip when I did not like the experience?

The aesthetic of the restaurant did not match the blaring music constant clatter of utensils. We booked with confirmation and was told they couldn't serve us due to a double booking and took convincing for a table and this was with an hour time limit. The actual food was decent for the pastas, the pizza ordered was bizzarly burned on the bottom and soft on top which ended up as a sloppy burned mess to eat. The starters were too small portion wise for the price.

Very poor meal and over priced for generic 'Italian' food. Poor value for portion size of spaghetti carbonara and the guanciale was all fat. My daughter had the children's garlic dough balls which had barely any garlic butter. The calamari was over-cooked and the risotto was bland. For a good Italian meal I would strongly suggest going elsewhere and certainly the worst meal overall I have had in a long time. First and last visit to any Piccolino locations.

I didn’t book in advance, they greeted me and welcomed me in regardless. I chose the scallops as my appetizer, it was very good however some were overcooked, I would like to see my scallops cooked with good crust and perfectly cooked in the middle. As for my main I chose the duck, it was perfect, delicious seasoning and a perfect crispy skin, with the meat being moist and tender. For my drink, I tried the spicy mango recommended by the server, and it was a 10/10 drink.

No gluten free bread or pizza Table was for 1.5 hrs and waited over 20 minutes for coffee

don’t come here if you are gluten free! the options sound good but are some of the worst gluten free pizza i have ever had. frozen store bought pizza is better. Any celiacs please avoid, service sub par aswell. prices don’t match quality of food. if you are looking for good gluten free restaurants near by i reccomend the Ritorno Lounge on the harbour!

Ramona and her team went above and beyond for my friend and I when we came for dinner. We let them know we were in a rush and had a train to catch and they made our visit extremely smooth and fast… without a drop in quality! The food was amazing and the drinks were superb. We will definitely visit again!❤️❤️

We popped in here early on a Friday evening without a booking. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a truffle pasta dish and a pizza - it was very tasty. This was my first time at this restaurant and I would recommend.

Very bad food quality, 100% reheated in a microwave. Service was okay, attentive but also quite intrusive. There are so many better Italians in Bristol.

What a wonderful start to our anniversary. Such a warm welcome from Gus (who showed us how to get in😂) and we chose to sit on the high tables by the bar. Good choice as Tasha was working who has a wealth of knowledge of cocktails (even those not on the menu) There is a wide choice of food and all really lovely. All staff were so friendly including Amir who also served us. Thank you for making our anniversary so special and we shall definitely recommend and return on our next visit to Bristol.

Five years later- October 2024- I won’t be going back. Chaos! The couple next to me complained that they didn’t get their sides. The lady on the other side left her meat and said it was too fatty to eat. The next couple next to us were brought their mains before the starters. We were half way through our squid (5/10) when the waiter tried to put our mains down! My main of tortellini was described as pulled beef but it appeared to be brown paste- ugh! We never received the side we ordered. Tiny cocktails at £11.00. AWFUL… Vastly overpriced…

Have been here a couple of times and service is always excellent and food very good. It can be quite noisy but yet very comfortable, well priced, nice selection of food and drinks. Highly recommend either for food or just a drink.

Our first time eating here and I cannot fault anything about the service at Piccolino!! Every single server we came into contact with was brilliant, very personable and made our dining experience that much better!! Shout out to Razran and Gus - We will definitely be coming back :)

What a Lovely Restaurant. Extremely Welcoming, we couldn't fault the Service. There was a problem with my main, but this was rectified immediately. The food is a bit more pricy than some other restaurants but you get what you pay for. We will definitely be back 😋😋😋

A lovely and delicious restaurant if you want to eat Italian food in Bristol. We ate some excellent risottos, cooked just right, and some delicious pizzas that were truly top notch. The chefs Danielle, Vincent and Domenico are highly trained. Furthermore, the service was enlivened by Alina's extremely professional and kind personality. you are in the area and want to eat real Italian food this is the right place.

My partner and I booked in for a quiet dinner to end our quick weekend trip. We were so impressed from the second we walked in, the staff are a shining example of what it means to go above and beyond in the service industry, they listened to both our dietary requirements (vegan & Gluten Free) and served us some amazing meals. We both had starters and mains and they were generously portioned too! A special thanks to Goncalo, his service was amazing and would definitely bring us back again if we were in the area. A really lovely place. Nicely furnished, very quiet when we went (2:30pm). The menu is extensive and has some wonderful seafood options - the tuna used in the tartare was super fresh. Our waiter, Gus, really elevated the experience - so friendly and fun, offered welcome advice for substitutions for items they had run out of and was very attentive. We were even given complimentary glasses of sparkling wine for the occasion (birthday). I would highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you Gus for making us feel so welcome. On arrival, the bar server, Tasha was welcoming and helpful and continued to be throughout . We met the Manager, Gus and he was so welcoming too. Goucalo greeted us with warmth also. I had the tastiest bruscetta classico and tagliolini tartfuto was delicious. Faultless service and quality of food. Service was lovely, what a great group of people here, they were all delightful. I ordered a Diavolo pizza and it was just my level of hot! It is dinner plate sized and very filling. The restaurant itself is quite densely packed so it was quite loud, and the furnishings are garish. The overall atmosphere was not bad but not great. The food quality and people are the highlights here.

Myself & my wife had had two meals whilst on a trip to Bristol. On both nights we had lovely meals with fabulous staff to look after us. One person in particular Alina was fantastic her lovely personality but most of all her kindness and caring for her clients what made her stand out. Can you pass on my thanks to her. We have already said once we revisit Bristol we will go again to this lovely restaurant and enjoy their lovely meals. So until then Thank You.

Food was yummy, but the service was very poor. We waited so long before anyone took our order. Even after ordering, it took ages to receive our bottle of wine. Service was clearly preferential to older “wealthier” looking customers. We even witnessed the host yelling at the sweet and clearly overworked minority server for a pity mistake. We almost left out of frustration and the sense of disrespect. Only towards the end of service did everyone suddenly become friendly in order to guarantee their optional service charge. Food not worth the experience.
