Zizzi - Leicester Highcross in Leicester

1st visit to this Zizzi and to the brand for years.We booked after playing indoor golf ⛳️. The place was packed and buzzing at 3pm! The staff were very friendly and efficient.The menu was vast. No draught beer, but next best thing they had Peroni in small and large bottles and they took the trouble to frost the glasses! Food wad excellent 👌 Tiramasu was OK but I've had better. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return.

Ildiko was our server tonight and she was lovely and very attentive would definitely come again :))

Very disappointed with our main meal. We had a mushroom and truffle oil pasta dish. It came out in a big solid blob on the dish, with no sign of a mushroom. We didn't want to ruin our date night, so we didn't complain. On a plus the garluc and onion bread was delicious and our waitress was lovely and very friendly.

Excellent service from Ildiko with some great tasting food

Hannah offered a warm and polite service throughout the meal, Supervisor however needs work on her etiquette. Hannah is an asset to Zizzi.

The quality of food on the set menu was very poor. The starter: calamari was completely dried out, the main: the pasta cold, over cooked and tasteless and the dessert: the tiramissu was like sponge. Zizzi only want payments by card, so that you are forced to pay the 'team tip'. The customer has no choice in the matter. The staff do not want to give you a receipt for your payment. The staff were so busy that I could not call them back. This is the second time this happened at another branch. Avoid Zizzi at all costs since this must be protocol in the company.

Visited here yesterday with my friend, it was such a lovely experience! Our server Hubert was lovely, despite the fact it is his first week we couldn’t fault his service! The food was stunning, we both ended up having our desserts to go which wasn’t an issue in the slightest, food came out efficiently, piping hot and beautifully presented! Would 100% come back and recommend!

A great dining experience at lunchtime (18/10/24). We were greeted & seated and were served by a friendly courteous young man (Hubert). We didn't have to wait long for our food which was very tasty. In summary, good food, great service, thank you!

But it didn’t stop them from giving us excellent customer service. Even down to a constant supply of pencils for my Grand Daughter. The food was hot and delicious. Today me and my husband tried zizzi's for the first time ,we was warmly welcomed by the management and sat in a cozy corner our drinks order was taken a capachinno and a coke and was given a small bowl of snacks whilst we was given the menu, we both decided on the three courses for £25.95 . Both of us ordered the motzeralla risotto crispy balls for a starter our taste buds was going wild with delight, we had also ordered prosciutto carbonara wow the presentation was absolutely amazing I wish I had taken a photo it was so pretty ,then the tastebuds went into over drive even more so flavour enriched, (I must try to recreate this dish) we was both in pure delight with the first two courses, we ordered another capuchinno for myself another little dish of snacks came, my husband ordered a chocolate melt cake with ice cream and I ordered the tiramasu, my husbands reaction was omgggggggg this is some sort of heaven my tiramasu came with gold sparkles and was divine not to over powering with flavour and not too little. The meal was absolutely perfection excellent value for money ,staff was so amazing and helpful . I cannot wait to come back again thank you for making the meal such a memorable

The food was delicious, and at a good price too. We booked in advance, and even though it was totally packed, the service was incredibly fast with all the waitstaff being very friendly and accommodating. Gabriela was a star, great work!

Every time I visit, I enjoy the food even more. The presentation is brilliant and the taste is amazing. They have a lot of options to choose from and the service is actually quick. Would recommend 10/10.

Was well looked after from the moment of arrival and honestly, that pizza was the best! I asked them to make one of the regular pizzas vegan and they were happy to. A real treat.

Had a think pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. 6 tiny bits of pepermini and the same for mushroom. Not worth the money .

Had a lovely meal but disappointed as my blue light discount wasn’t accepted. Had to read the 3 pages of terms and conditions in the restaurant to see leicester wasn’t accepted Not sure why but should be all or nothing.

The food was good, however mine came out long after the rest of the groups. The waitress asked everyone how the meal was while I sat there with nothing like I just came to watch everyone else eat? She did apologise and then delivered my food which I saw was left on the side. Dessers then arrived but were not provided with any cutlery and were unable to get anyone's attention to ask so had to wait while another member of the group was having their dessert switched as was given the wrong one.

We visited this week for date night and dined from the set menu. £25 each for three courses. So so so much variety in what we could choose. The food was delicious, I had a arancini to start, meatball arrabiata and a lemon and blackberry cheesecake. my partner had a pesto garlic bombe to start, a pizza for main and ice cream / sorbet for dessert. We were served by Ildiko who was great, attentive and prompt. I could see the other staff members working constantly, checking that the tables didn’t need anything, looking around all the time and I even noticed the kitchen letting front of house know when somebody had finished etc. the service seemed to be a well oiled machine, everyone knew their roles and everything was quick and great quality. We’ve been before this week and we’ll be back! It’s a lovely restaurant.

First time at Zizzis and I was disappointed with my food choice - I chose a calzone but it lacked flavor. My mom and Partner both said their dishes were delicious though! The children's meal price was fantastic but I found for my 6 year old the Spaghetti Bolognese serving was quite small. Staff were great with allergen advice and service. Note -Leicester high cross doesn't allow blue light discount! We went here over nandos because of the discount but they are an exempt restaurant, so we weren't eligible for any discount.

Had a lovely experience. We ordered a pepperoni pizza to share, and the rest of us had lasagne and pasta. Gerry served us our food quickly and was very sweet. Very attentive even when busy. Would recommend! Hope all the staff there get their well deserved recognition x

Went out on stag do so there was a large number off us, the Staff that helped us Harley, Stas Iveta and Kyle were all so patient and friendly. The customer service was amazing, I was very indecisive on my desert and kept changing my mind and Stas Iveta was so relaxed about it. 10/10 Staff. The food was beautiful to look at and just as beautiful to eat.

Went to there yesterday for dinner with my friends and was served by Anjali. She was the best. She made everything sure and perfect and made our day.
