Shocking absolutely shocking hygiene in the toilets. Zoom in on that corner wow oh wow. Ladies and gents toilets both as bad. Food also awful very very poor. Stoggy pasta over cooked meatballs, dried up starter pathetic offering. Get a grip Zizzi!!!

Visited the Leicester highcross outlet of Zizi a couple of days ago with a group of friends, however, saddened to say the staff and the manager serving in this outlet were utterly rude and irreceptive. The person who was serving our table didn’t have the knowledge of ongoing offers of her own branch and guided us into a complete wrong way which bore a bill of things which were supposed to be free. To top it off the manager without acknowledging there could have been an error at the staff’s end argued with us how it was all our fault and was just not in a mood to even consider our grievance. Do make sure to check yourself if the offers displayed are even valid or not to save yourselves those unnecessary extra ££

Yesterday, my seven Indian friends and I had a disappointing experience at Zizzi in Highcross. Our server asked all of us to scan a barcode for free garlic bread, which we did. After lunch, we were unexpectedly charged for eight garlic breads. Following a discussion, the charge was reduced to three, supposedly because we ordered five main courses. We felt this was unfair and unacceptable, as the server's initial explanation of the offer was misleading. Their refusal to acknowledge their mistake and subsequent argument were particularly upsetting. If we had known the offer was valid only from February 6th, 2025, we would not have ordered garlic breads and in turn, not charged extra. We were apalled by the staff's behaviour and won't be going to Zizzi ever again.

Madmara was outstanding with her excellent customer service. We walked in during busy times, she managed to get us a table within 5 minutes. The waitress served us was pleasant and friendly. The food, service and ambiance is excellent. My fav zizzi and I highly recommend their classic pizzas, pastas and Tiramisu.

Lovely evening at Zizzis. All the staff were amazing including Ildiko who recommended the blueberry cheesecake which was delicious.. morello cherry cooler was great too!!!!!

Three-course meal: Starters: Cheesy garlic bread with caramelised onions. The cheese complements the caramelised onions. Mains: Calzone piccante.Hand-stretched folded pizza with harissa chicken meatballs, bolognese, mushrooms & mozzarella. One word: phenomenal. A great meal to get tucked into, the dough is soft and the flavour is top-notch. I would recommend it highly. Dessert: Tiramisu. For anyone who is a coffee aficionado, they would love the taste of tiramisu. A creamy, chocolatey taste with a hint of coffee in each bite—what's there not to love about it?

I went with my friend for her birthday, lovely experience. You can go for a 26.50£ 3 course meal , I wanted a pizza that wasn't listed on that menu and they were really nice and let me have it. The food was really nice, service very good. Truly enjoyed it !

A few days ago, me and my family visited the restaurant, and we had an excellent experience, thanks to our young waitress, Madeira—please excuse my spelling! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. When she noticed we might be a bit cramped at our table, she kindly offered to move us to a more comfortable spot, which we really appreciated. My daughter also has a food allergy, and Madeira was very careful and thoughtful in making sure her meal was safe. She took extra time to confirm ingredients and ensured everything was prepared properly, which gave us great peace of mind. Throughout the meal, she was attentive without being intrusive, and her friendly, genuine demeanor truly made the experience special. We left feeling well taken care of and would definitely recommend this place! Five stars from us!

Had an amazing meal at this Zizzi branch, my go to Italian cuisine. However, the overall atmosphere was quite dull, as I was waiting for my food witnessed what I can only guess is the manager shouting at her colleague. Asked this worker if she was okay to which she seemed quite in a rush, as per usual as it was quite busy. But reminded me of my hospitality days. Quite embarrassing from her, hope they learn from this and hope they don’t treat all employees like this. Hope Zizzi can calm the young blonde lady down a bit as this is not a way to treat your workers.

The Spaghetti Chorizo Carbonara and Rustica Piccante Pizza we tried were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. For starters, the Garlic Bread with Mozzarella was an absolute hit—crispy, cheesy, and indulgent. What stood out most was how accommodating Zizzi is for families. The kids' menu is thoughtfully designed, offering smaller portions of Italian favorites like cheesy pasta and mini pizzas. The children in our group absolutely loved the Bambini Pizza, and the staff went out of their way to make them feel special, providing coloring sheets and crayons to keep them entertained. I have never written a bad review and we always love coming here but your front of staff member around 4o clock was extremely rude. Like Peter Cole’s, we went in for my birthday meal and asked for a table for two. We never book because it’s never a inconvenience to you guys, and we never mind waiting, but the girl with the blonde hair rolled her eyes and gave us a dirty look and started smacking her head with her hand in front of us as if we it was a massive inconvenience we asked for a table? She then told us it was card only but I didn’t hear and asked her if it was cash only and she started slowing her words like I was a five year old and basically patronised me because I miss heard her. After she walked us to our table we sat down and I said to my partner did you think she was rude and like Peter Cole’s said in the below review they heard me and said oh we thought it was just us she was rude to, so we weren’t the only ones. Everything else was amazing and all the other staff were lovely and attentive and the food was great. It’s a shame that you have someone who quite clearly can’t handle a customer facing job being the first person customers are greeted by. I understand it’s a busy time of the year and it’s understandable to be stressed but don’t take your stress out on the customers who have just walked in and make us feel like we are an inconvenience to you.

Everything was great but the female lady who was at the front looked right pissed off. Asked for a table for two and she rolls her eyes at us because it’s busy. REALLY embarrassing from her and let’s the whole hard working team down, I sat down and went oh well everyone has a bad day , No word of a lie a couple sits down five minutes after next to my table and say “ she is so rude” I’m normally don’t care enough to write reviews but she’s the first person your meeting on the door and she looks at your like your an inconvenience to her. It was thanks to the staff afterwords that saved it and the only reason I tipped. Get her off the front if you want your Christmas tips!

Came with the Mrs ages ago was not the best experience tbh but then came last weekend and had the best experience ever the food was amazing met a staff member Edward (Ed) or as I now call him ZK zizzi King he was amazing with the service he gave he made sure our drinks came quick and our food came quick he made sure we had laughter whilst waiting and also made sure our experience was amazing the best staff member there hands down he needs to get promoted ASAP!!! Honestly I only recommend zizzis cuh of him!!

Went in this evening, was unsure what to expect after seeing how busy the place was and little staff to be seen. However Edward sorted us out and service was sublime throughout. It's easy to let standards slip and morale drop when someone calls in sick and it gets busy and overwhelming, but he remained professional and polite. All whilst maintaining a fast pace. Well done Edward.

Absolutely horrendous (non) service. Came and waited for our order to be taken - asked a waitress to take our order only to be forgotten about and had seen others come in after have their order taken. Half hour wasted

1st visit to this Zizzi and to the brand for years.We booked after playing indoor golf ⛳️. The place was packed and buzzing at 3pm! The staff were very friendly and efficient.The menu was vast. No draught beer, but next best thing they had Peroni in small and large bottles and they took the trouble to frost the glasses! Food wad excellent 👌 Tiramasu was OK but I've had better. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return.

Very disappointed with our main meal. We had a mushroom and truffle oil pasta dish. It came out in a big solid blob on the dish, with no sign of a mushroom. We didn't want to ruin our date night, so we didn't complain. On a plus the garluc and onion bread was delicious and our waitress was lovely and very friendly.
