A pleasant surprise in the middle of Mayfair. Consists of two floors, the below one has a live DJ but nothing ear piercing calm and nothing noisy. The top floor is like a garden and the service is very good. The pastas are great I had the one with truffle, the monk fish was said to be delicious and the Milanese cutlet was huge and very tasty. The drinks are great.

Super fun birthday brunch! brunch is situated in a separate room with DJ and Sax guy. Menu was really tasty and we loved the shared starters and got to choose our own main meals. Our table had mixed bottomless Prosecco and Aperols and the service was faultless being topped up without question. Place is really stunning with a really nice fun vibe. I really appreciated the phone call prior to arriving the week before to discuss some allergies after I emailed a few concerns and the lady I spoke to was very helpful. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off like it nearly did us! It’s not cheap granted but then you are in Mayfair so nothing you wouldn’t expect for the location.

The food was amazing… the best aubergine parmigiana I have tried in London. Nice music and environment . The staff were super friendly, specially the DJ from Jamaica and the waiter from Ecuador (sorry I don’t remember well their names). I definitely recommend this place and for sure I will come back. A brilliant bottomless brunch in Mayfair! Exceptional service, delicious food, and a chilled vibe with a DJ. My Prosecco glass was never empty, thanks to the attentive staff. Perfect for a laid-back weekend treat with friends. Highly recommend for a chic, indulgent brunch experience.

As always, ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! The food, the ambiance, the team of tremendous folks ( wait staff) … who are more like friends. Just a TOTAL WOW!!!! it’s been a while since we found time to vidid. But I reminded myself and Hubby that this is “The Place” to come back to often as we know it’s always amazing.

What a quaint hidden treasure in Mayfair! It's got that homey vibe that makes you want to settle in with great food and friendly staff. Speaking of great food, you've got to try their Tartars dish—it's hands down the best I’ve ever had. I have never written such a good review before but my husband and I are having a house built in the area and have been trying out local Italian restaurants. We had dinner here last night. We were welcomed by Davide and he made us feel right at home. Everything from the eggplant appetizer to the main course of their pasta and Milanese even the dessert a lemon cake was just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful meal and a great end to our day. Can’t wait to come back again!

We live in London year-round and visit both of the restaurants Bocconcino owns in Central and we decided tonight that will drive the extra mile to downtown Mayfair due to the choice of music and the level of service. Chiara took amazing care of us at the bar and we absolutely enjoyed the evening from top bottom. We were greeted, had a nice evening with a casual meal ( Caesar salad & an amazing pizza). The restaurant was packed with lots of diners weekend visitors and we felt like we were the only couple ar the bar with the level is service. We can’t wait to come back.

Ordered the parmigiana, which was beautifully made, and Wow! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was great. All 3 dishes, plus our kids' butter pasta, were amazing. The total price was $110. Highly recommend this place.

We had a really lovely dinner here, great ambience albeit a little loud for us. Staff were excellent and the pasta we had was homemade and delicious. The tiramisu was to die for. Definitely would recommend this buzzy restaurant.

This has been our favorite restaurant in London since it opened in 2016. Always fantastic food and service-we have never once been disappointed. It's a top notch restaurant with top notch service. There are so many restaurants, and many are good and fun. But there are not a lot of excellent ones that offer both great food AND service...Bocconcino is one of the few consistently excellent restaurants in London.

Always good to excellent . The bread is inviting and the service was excellent. Pasta and main dishes were well prepared and delicious.

Beautiful place. I was hesitant because there were a lot of filled tables, but it was a good sign. I had the ravioli, which come with crab, and my son had the Pasta Boar ragu, which comes with long pasta with meat sauce. Both were the right portion and delicious. Three people kept checking on us and the waiter kept refilling our drinks. Couldn't ask for a better time.

Amazing food! Xoxoox the Italian bread appetizer was amazing and the pizza and pasta were cooked wonderfully! The service was very nice! Highly Recommend!

Friends and I enjoyed a great Wednesday lunch. My first visit and everything was done just right including great service and ambiance. I personally enjoyed fried calimari, sausage pizza, and the artichokes salad and all were very tasty. A great selection of of wines by the glass + great espresso and tiramisu and we were happy. Since spending 2 weeks in Sicily this summer I have a high bar when it comes to eating out Italian. Most places don’t live up to much, but Bocconcino is a home run ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ll return for sure and looking forward to trying more of the menu.

We were 4 couples reunited to celebrate our wedding anniversaries. We all married decades ago in June. This was the best venue to celebrate because everything was perfect. We couldn't ask for more when it came to food, service and ambiance. Upon arrival in the pouring rain, our car was immediately valeted. The place was already buzzing with lots of happy patrons. We were greeted and directed to wait for our table in the bar area. We all had seats. Within 10 minutes we were seated at a very comfortable round table in a very crowded room. Every room was packed...a sign that this is an exceptional place. Adrian was our waiter- he’s incomparable! He was personable, proficient and professional. He folded our napkins each time someone went to the bathroom. He consistently refilled our water glasses. He didn’t miss a beat. The initial bread basket appetizers was to die for. The freshness and flavor were outstanding. Everyone was abundantly happy with their choice of entree. I loved my Risotto seafood. Portions were large and delicious. Most of us had the calamari appetizer. They were stuffed, so crispy and colossal. For dessert we totally enjoyed the raspberry cake. It was awesome as was the entire experience. Boccocncino is at the top of my list for very special Italian cuisine.

We were referred here by a friend who comes often. It was a wonderful dinner with great service, food and ambiance. Rafal was our waiter and he was great. I had gluten free penne with tomato sauce that was terrific. My son had the branzino which he loved and my dad had huge veal Milanese for his dinner. everything was out of this world.

Very very good Italian. Order the Veal Milanwesew . The best one I’ve had in the last 35 years of travel. Add all the extras on it. Beautiful calamari appetizer. Chiara excellent host. Be aware it is not inexpensive 😄

Everything was great and our server was extremely patient and helpful. I do have a qualm about being charged £15 for extra truffle on a pasta but you know what, it was delicious and worth the cost. We went on a monday evening so it was quiet and enjoyable. Recommend definitely:)

We have not been here since the pandemic. The service is very attentive and professional yet casual. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The steak was slightly undercooked but the taste was spot on. The wedge was generous. The pan-seared yellowfin was perfect.

Overall we were disappointed. The venue is described as a restaurant with the live music. However it was so loud there that me and my partner couldn’t talk. Feels like more a club but with tables. Service was also rather disappointing. We were waiting for our drinks for half an hour constantly reminding to the waitresses about our drinks. Well, when our wine finally arrived, more disappointed was waiting for us. The color of wine ( we took white wine) was darker that a beer color. I wouldn’t even mention about the taste. It is very strange for such place to have such low quality wine in its menu. After all this negative experience, we also have been charge 15% service charge. Wouldn’t not recommend.

Overall we had a good experience. The upstairs part of the restaurant is kid friendly actually, we brought our friends little guy and he seemed to find it easy in his high chair. Food was very good and so was the scene. We would go back...

We visited this evening last evening for a family meal. The restaurant is lovely and really well laid out. We were shown to our table, and then met our server, Silvia. Wow! What can I say? She was fab-u-lous! So entertaining and such great conversation! Also the best hair ever! Our food was fantastic-great portions and the pasta was delicious. We had the lobster pasta, fettuccine fungi, boar ragu and the short rib. They were all great! We had some ice cream for dessert-again the portions were great and they were delicious. This restaurant is fantastic and well worth a visit, highly recommended. And go in to see Silvia!

Had a very lovely evening at this restaurant. D.J. playing music & the restaurant had a good atmosphere. Had calamari to start, followed by the octopus. Both dishes were perfectly presented & cooked. My family and I made reservations to celebrate my cousins birthday at Bocconcino, and we had a fantastic time from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of. Our server, Chiara, was fabulous! She was incredibly attentive. She anticipated our needs, refilled our drinks promptly, and ensured a seamless dining experience. She made excellent suggestions, was extremely friendly, and had extensive knowledge of the menu. The food was outstanding! From appetizers to entrées and even dessert, everything was fresh and tasted incredible. The portions were generous, and there were many delicious options to choose from. The wait staff was clearly well-trained. They inquired about food allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. No one rushed us, and they waited for everyone at the table to finish before clearing plates. Overall, our visit to Bocconcino was memorable, thanks to Chiara exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re vacationing in the area!

Great Italian food and great ambience close to Berkeley Square.

We had an excellent Italian meal at Bocconcino. We had the boar ragu pasta and diavola pizza. All meals were a high recommend- delicious ingredients and a good portion size. The restaurant is located in a fun area and offers a nice amount shops around.

Fine, intimate dining in a beautiful, bustling part of Mayfair! Come for the pizzas or opt for the exquisite seafood and house made pasta dishes, but save room for dessert! if you’re full, still do not skip out on the appetizers, which can be easily shared over to group people. Choose custom fresh sorbet to go in the middle of two housemate lemon cakes!! atmosphere sit inside downstairs has elegant space. Upscale bar. wonderful wine menu.

Had lunch for the first time here a few weeks ago and was very impressed. The service was friendly and attentive, the cocktails were good and the food was delicious. The caprese salad was my favorite. Will definitely be back.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were there today and enjoyed the ambience. Not intrusive and we were very close. The food was fabulous and our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. We ordered different entrees, one pasta and one fish and they were both amazing. We heard the same comments from tables around us. The finishing touch of a profiteroles was superb. If we are ever back in the area we will go out of our way to return.

The best Italian Restaurant in London, it is an absolute delight. Silvia the manager greeted my family when entering the restaurant. She even helped my elderly mom to the restroom. We enjoyed speaking with her at the table prior to ordering. Very meal was delectable. The sauce is the most important ingredient in an Italian restaurant and they nailed it. Just the right amount of seasoning and sweetness. We even asked for some sauce so we could dip our hot Italian bread. My mouth is watering as I am writing this review. The service was wonderful. The decor was wonderful. All of the food was wonderful. I haven’t been to a great Italian restaurant since I was in New York. I will definitely b going back on a regular basis.

This was the first time we had gone to the restaurant and enjoyed the fun atmosphere had a great meal and had a outstanding bar/server Alex. Was surprised how busy it was for a Tuesday night. Really enjoyed the music. We will be back!

We had, as usual, a good service and fabulous but unfortunately the presence of a snake for the wild party was a huge let down and we wondered if, next time, customers can be informed during the booking in order to make an informed choice.

We booked here for my Birthday dinner and as they had summer nights diner on. I was told the entertainment started at 7pm so I booked a table for 7.15pm to get there and be told it starts at 8pm and of course you have the table for 1hr45 mins so we would only catch an hour of the entertainment. As soon as we sat down we were rushed to order. I informed the person serving us of this to then we told in return, people like to order a lot of food collectively hence the pressure, it’s a Saturday night, they need the table back soon (we still had another’s house on the table!). This made us feel uncomfortable. In the end they apologised. The food was extremely bland. I needed up leaving my dish (which the restaurant took off our bill). I don’t class what we saw as entertainment. They had people on random costumes come out and walk around the tables once and then leave. You then also had the professional photographers taking photos which ruined that for you as you had flashes in your face and just made is less enjoyable. They also brought out the wrong pizza (we ordered a margarita they brought out pepperoni) and also didn’t do anything given it was my birthday which most restaurants do something! I was extremely excited to dine here as it had been on my go to list for a very long time so thought my birthday would be the perfect time but to be honest it’s one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had especially for the price point which you don’t mind paying for if everything is to the standard it should be!

Ent come here if you are 50 yrs old! Too much worrying about Instagram than the food! People dancing around with mirrored masks and holding snakes when they should be worried about the food. Got the cheapest Rose wine on the list at £65 - it was brought up we were asked to taste and it was warm! Must have known when they were carrying it! so had to drink with ice cubes! Starters ok but Lamb main came with mash that had so much salt it was inedible. Also a pizza that was Luke warm when served. Don’t go here unless you are looking for a photo opportunity!

Best Pizza in Town, and super consistent. Service is always great too. Try the Expresso Martini - one of the only restaurants that never disappoints since years.

Expected live music / DJ. Unfortunately they start to break down the bar at 11 had I known that I wouldn’t have taken a 10:45 booking. The waiter was absolutely useless, it took him 10 minutes to set up table, we were left waiting in corner lounge seating. By the time we were seated we were told the bar tender is done for the night but we can have beer. Then told to order everything as kitchen was closing. Felt uncomfortable during the meal as the staff seemed to be waiting for us to finish. Finally I gave up asked for check and left and will never return.

Amazing pizza in a very modern setting. The pizza is not your typical pizza that you would get from a chain. It’s light and delicious. The desserts are a must do! lemon cake dessert and tiramisu was a first and great experience. Definitely get a reservation on open table or you will have a long wait. If back in London we would go again!

Chiara was an excellent waitress, very attentive, good suggestions, and friendly. Food was delicious. We had chicken Caesar and Risotto Seafood for our main course. the tiramisu which was different from your typical tiramisu but it was wonderful. Recommend the cocktails also. All in all it was a wonderful dinner. Highly recommend.

My husband took me here for my birthday and I already want to go back! Everything from the service to the food was FANTASTIC! Our waitress was so sweet, kind and attentive. The food was to die for. The pasta was fresh and served hot. You must sit downstairs were the live music is. The view and atmosphere are wonderful. We can't wait to go back!

We are at in the dining room at the back which is very comfortable and elegantly decorated. I had a Vitello tonato which was delicious.. and then ribeye which was good but could have been a little thicker.

My second time here and the food is great but I felt the service faltered. We booked a table for 3 people were sat at a table of 5 and kept being asked by the staff if more were joining us. I was reading the wine list and the sommelier was happy to help until I said we’re only going to get a glass as one of us was not drinking, he then very quickly disappeared and it felt quite dismissive. I’d mentioned on my booking that I had the code app, but before we could even ask for the bill it was presented to us without the discount. When I mentioned the code app I felt like I had caused an inconvenience. Overall it felt like that because we were a small table we weren’t as important as the larger booking tables we had in. And the experience therefor fell short. Which is such a shame because my previous experience had been amazing, so friendly and well looked after. I was really looking forward to that same level of service on my birthday and specifically chose here.

Love this restaurant - super Fancy, reasonably sized bar. Busy but well worth the wait. Really good Caesar salad, fresh, well dressed and great flavor. Ordered eggplant parm app, two pizzas and have to say all were great. Crust is super light and toppings great, white pizza is awesome. Service was good, friendly and highly recommend..

f you go to Mayfair you have to visit Bocconcino. The best Italian place in town and good music.

The service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. We received our meals promptly due to the efficiency of the chefs. Notably, an Albanian waiter provided exceptional customer service, the best I have experienced to date, although I regret not getting his name.

Not sure how this restaurant fits in amongst the finer restaurants in Mayfair. The service was ok, the food was average, the cocktails were small.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and attentive so top marks for service . The musicians were awesome as well - a DJ and a live sax is always a good vibe. The only let down was the food. The burrata wasn’t the creamiest I’ve had. Wasn’t overly fond on all the meats bought out. Also no bread to accompany? In terms of mains it was pizza or pasta and only one alternative option of prawns (which I ordered). I liked the prawns but there were 4 for my entire main and I didn’t like the beans or sauce they came with so I essentially ate 4 prawns for my main which isn’t worth the cost. If there was a greater wider variety of options for starters and mains I would give this place top marks as the staff, service, atmosphere etc were all fantastic.

We went as a family for an early dinner and had a fabulous experience. The team were so friendly and helpful, they catered perfectly for our young family to ensure we enjoyed our meal and were finished before our little girls were too tired. The food is exceptional, we started with the olives and calamari (an absolute must-try, sensational), followed by the Truffle pasta (bellissimo) and Insalata tomato, and finished with the tiramisu for dessert (too delicious to share!). The friendly staff suggested the tagliatelle mushrooms for our girls and it was a hit, both finished every last bit. They didn't know we were there to remember my mum's anniversary, but they made the night extra special for us. We look forward to going back!

Delicious and fresh traditional Italian food prepared with care using the best of local produce. The best pizza in London central, fine crust, fresh tomato base with the right balance of flavors. The friendly and helpful staff made my visit easy. Try the diavola pizza, its superb.

Went to Bocconcino for the first time today for a family luncheon. Wow, we can't wait to go back. Amazing food, beautifully presented, our host was an absolute pleasure and all so reasonably priced too. Go to love a place that serves up Italian food that is authentic, fresh and rustic. The veal Milanese is to die for. If you're looking for an amazing Italian experience on the Mayfair area then look no further than this place. You won't be disappointed.

There seem to be some positive reviews on this establishment, so maybe we chose a bad night. The service was poor (we arrived at 9.45pm), the food was average (fettuccini vongole) & 2 guests had pizzas, which they said was average. The girls thought their meals were fine. It was also very expensive for what we ordered. £750 for 6 of us. The waiter asked for an extra tip, as he said the service charge is distributed to all the staff and he doesn’t really benefit from it.

I have been to Bocconcino many times over the last few years. Their food and service is excellent. The offer consistent high-quality food and service. Their pizza follows the Roman style and is among the best in London and the whole menu is likely to please those who know their Italian food. Without a doubt, this is my default place to eat out.

This is a great restaurant for quality of food and service. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, going above and beyond for us at every opportunity. They even completed our special request on booking of having a beautiful Prosecco on the table. They also upgraded us to a round table. The food is fantastic - the olives, the lobster and the mushroom pasta were our favourites! We will definitely be going back.

Bocconcino never lets you down. Our food was absolutely superb. Both of us had the lobster pasta - delicious and served with the perfect sauce. My friend had boar pasta. The only complaint we have is that the serve was huge! It was a shame to waste it, as it was also delicious. The staff are really friendly, know their stuff and are very courteous and attentive. Very authentic Italian cuisine, great selection of dishes available. Staff very professional and knew their stuff. Well priced, great quality food. We chose a few smaller dishes to get a good variety of what was on offer. If you are with family, this is a good option - the opportunity to sample various dishes is, from our experience, a wise choice! If you enjoy Italian, include this venue when London central.

Booked in to Bocconcino for an early Mothers Day lunch and we were not disappointed. Everything was amazing - the service, the food. Tiramisu is to die for, and the calamari fritti, and burrata were delicious. (So was everything else we had, but those ones really stood out.) It's not the cheapest meal we've ever had, but it was worth every cent we paid. We'll definitely be back - because we need to try the other menu items.

Even after making a prior reservation at 9.15 PM, they made us wait for half an hour to give the table & endless waiting to get the food. After asking the waiter about the whereabout of our food at 10.30 PM, he was bloody rude & arrogant to us. He told us that it could take an hour more to serve us despite telling him that my wife is pregnant & she needs to be fed. There was no courtesy or politeness shown by the waiter & it really put us off & spoiled our evening.

Couldn’t cater for veggie dishes, no modifications for simple dishes.

The waiter told us that the tip was not included, and when I turned the receipt (that he purposedly covered) it was clearly stated that the service was included, then I asked the server that it says that the tip is included, and he said it was only for the chef…. So I added more tip…… then walking out of the restaurant I asked the lady in the reception if it is true that the original tip is not split with everyone and she said it is a lie…….. it is evenly split with everyone at the kitchen and servers….. It is a disgusting way to steal and cheat customers…… Everything was excellent until this point … I do not recommend going to this place since it is deceiving customers…..
