The wine is always good here, but the food portions were small, the risotto special was a tad too al dente for me and the staff were rushing us off the table suggesting we move to the bar half an hour before they said they wanted the table back. Room for improvement compared to previous visits.

Was wandering past and thought I'd give it a go. Only seats left were at the bar (fair enough), but that didn't impact the food...

Warm, cosy space on a cold pre Christmas lunchtime, with helpful welcoming and friendly front of house staff. The tastiest and best baked Camembert. Excellent cheese and cooked meats, in truth rather better than the Tuscan original. Freshly made melt in the mouth pasta.

I went there eating with my girlfriend and everything was really nice the montanara I’ve eating take me to Naples for a second Soon he understand I was Neapolitan Chef Nicola come to explain to me the way I was doing the dish and what is his way to interpretate the kitchen. Very friendly and lovely person! So far one of the best Italian restaurant I’ve been in London! I’ll definitely come back!!!

We had a birthday Dinner and it was absolutely amazing, hands up to Nicola and his amazing dishes and to Francesca and her amazing service.

Enoteca in Italian is basically a wine shop and the wine selection is great, but there are minimal options on food and it’s a little over priced for mid range Italian cuisine. Service was friendly

Staff 5 stars, location 4 stars, value for money 3 stars, food quality depending on the day. I had pasta souce and octopus souces which was too watery and the taste completely lost. One star is taken away for the food and the other one for the price. It can improve…a pity

The staff, warm welcome and quality of service are a dream and make coming here feel like coming home...If your home has a superb chef, diverse menu, great wine cellar and a very relaxing and cool atmosphere.

What can I say? Pre COVID this place has great Italian food, and was not cheap, but was worth it. In particular we loved the buffalo camembert, which was incredibly good and impossible to get elsewhere. Just went now, and it's standard cow camembert (as far as we can tell from the taste, it bore zero resemblance to what we used to have and while it was good, it was very similar but not as good as what I make at home!). The prawn main for 17gbp is 4 prawns, and only a main if you are on a no eating diet. And things have crept up in price, the bill was about 25% higher than we would have guessed it would cost (inflation over 3 years I guess?). Service was good/great, and ambiance still nice, but we won't bother coming here again, as the food is expensive and no longer exceptional. :(

Had a lovely experience. We had booked a wine and cheese tasting and absolutely enjoyed the thoroughness of our facilitator. She was well versed with her extensive knowledge of wine and cheese and got interesting print outs for us to read. We later ordered some pork belly as a starter and the flavours were spot on. Must go if you want to learn about wine and cheese pairings.

I eat here a lot and love it. The friendliest service married with marvellous wine and superb food brings me back again and again. I bring my best friends and colleagues and its always a treat. The staff are super knowledgeable and always choose right. Most of all they do it with a smile.

Great place for a casual team event in the city. Great atmosphere. Service was attentive. Food was awesome and great wine selection. We tried all the starters, the pork main course was sublime, and the apple fritters were simply gorgeous. Will definitely be back.

I and my partner went to Enoteca on Friday evening, the food was lovely (especially the pappardelle) and the staff excellent, very attentive and knowledgable. We will definitely return.

Beautiful culinary experience, definitely a place worth of a visit. The staff is really nice and attentive, the food amazing and they also offer a large selection of drinks. The porchetta is TO DIE FOR. Will definitely come back soon !!!

With work colleagues we went for a Christmas party. Food was mouthwatering and absolutely amazing. It wasn't cheap, but who cares when food is that delicious. place was cosy and clean. Only one thing have hit us by surprise is high service charge.

I went with a friend on Thursday evening, the place was busy but even tough we haven’t book they managed to get us a table. The food was delicious. We ordered few starters to share (cured meats, burrata and aubergine croquettes) and a main each (two pappardelle) , everything was really tasty. Great selection of wine too.The service was outstanding, lovely, friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely return.

Tres de nosotros fuimos a tomar algo después del almuerzo un jueves por la tarde / noche a mediados de diciembre. El lugar estaba bastante lleno y, aunque hay una buena selección de vinos, son bastante caros. Sin embargo, me pareció particularmente molesto que añadieran un cargo por servicio al precio de cada una de nuestras rondas, a pesar de que estábamos parados en el bar. Argumentarán que esto se puede eliminar a pedido, pero aquí hay una sugerencia aún más amigable para el cliente: ¿qué tal si no agrega un cargo por servicio cuando sabe que no ha brindado un servicio digno de él? El número de estrella se da considerando el valor versus el precio. El entrante fue muy bueno, tuvimos 1. carpaccio de ternera con trufa que se derretía en la boca, 2. Burrata que tenía un buen toque de cebolla frita (en lugar de albahaca básica con tomate) y 3. Buñuelos de Scamorza. La lista de vinos fue excelente con una amplia selección de varias regiones: Barbera, Chianti, Montepulciano. . . Sin embargo, el plato principal para todos nosotros era muy soso. Dos de nosotros tuvimos risotto de ceps y otros dos pappardelle de carne estofada Nada especial en absoluto. La pasta tenía muy poca salsa y el risotto no tenía trozos de champiñones que cabría esperar. Gusto promedio para platos principales en general. El menú es bastante corto, lo cual está bien si todos los platos son muy atractivos, pero cuando visitamos se habían quedado sin bastantes cosas (salmón, berenjenas baby, más uno de los vinos que primero queríamos tampoco estaba disponible) dejándonos No hay muchas opciones para elegir.

What a discovery!!!!!! Lovely Italian cosy place with lots of personality and super tasty food. We ordered burrata camembert and pork (explosion of flavours) £30 per person...super worth it!

Great wine bar / restaurant! We organised a team event, for 10 people, and they were able to adapt to our asks and customize a fun experience for us, including a blind wine tasting competition, a cheese and wine pairing, before moving on to dinner with an 8 courses menu including wine pairing. They were also able to adapt the fixed menus, to cater for vegetarians / pescetarians. All courses were very tasty, and the wine pairing was perfectly on point! Service was fast, friendly, and energetic, which is just what we needed. A great experience overall, strongly recommended.

Having been to another Enoteca da Luca (Watling Street) and been thoroughly impressed, tried this one out. More wine bar with food than restaurant, and a slightly different selection to Watling Street, but still a great find. Thoroughly recommended.

Delicious small plates of food, decent choice of mostly Italian wine. Service was good, atmosphere lively - Thursday evening in the City. Not a cheap experience but again it’s in the City. If you want a full on meal you may be disappointed but for wine with tasty bites it hits the spot.

Great wine bar but poor food wise. A burrata which did not taste like one, tapas selections was so poor i prefer to not engage further. Prices of the food are literally twice their prices anywhere else in London.

Quiet place for breakfast with good fresh OJ and panninis. It is slightly expensive for the breakfast I've had there. Also good location if you are working in the city, but inconvenient if not. Would recommend if you are in the area, but otherwise not overly worth traveling for.

This was the second time I met friends for lunch in this central City restaurant minutes walk from Guildhall and close to Bank tube station.

Cenamos aquí como un grupo de cuatro amigos. La comida era excelente, muy sabrosa. El servicio era un poco lento, pero nuestro camarero nos dio buenos consejos sobre las opciones de menú. La buena selección de vino y el plato de champiñones y polenta era delicioso. Soy vegetariano y no estaba interesado en el plato principal de verduras, pero el chef me preparó un plato de pasta fuera del menú, que era muy agradable. Mis amigos tenían platos de carne y dijeron que eran muy agradables. Sin duda volveremos.

Nice atmosphere, tentative staff, nicely presented food. A shame the chef had to lie to the waiter when he was asked by me to check if this was indeed Monkfish. ( I already new the answer as I am a Chef) Plaice flakes and monkfish doesn't. Mine Flaked. V v disappointed. Honesty is the best policy when one has run out of ingredients.

Siamo dei clienti abituali lavorando giusto all'angolo. Da Luca e' stata per diversi anni la nostra meta per il caffe' della mattina e per aperitivi e spuntini. Era un bel locale una volta, quando ci lavoravano Fernando ed Italo, torte appena sfornate, toast sfiziosi, sorrisi, battute e simpatia...da un po' di tempo purtroppo lle cose sono cambiate...Colazione misera per scelta e qualita' del dolce e salato, la cosa piu' antipatica e becera e' il comportamento della barista dall'accento abruzzese che di solito lavora alla mattina. Nessun sorriso, si vede che il lavoro a contatto con il pubblico non e' il suo mestiere e lo fa per forza, con l'aria sempre incavolata. Oggi entriamo a prendere il caffe' io ed un collega di banca, ordiamo un secondo caffe', il locale e' vuoto, la barista mette la tazzina sulla macchina, non l'accende ed invece si precipita a fare lo scontrino ad un cliente che e' nel frattempo entrato (a cui il mio collega ha aperto la porta). La barista si perde via alla cassa ed aspetto quasi 10 minuti invano. Alla richiesta di dove fosse il mio caffe' la barista abruzzese abbozza un gesto maleducato di stizza ed esclama a voce alta "ma non vedi che sono impegnata?". Impietrito per l'atteggiamento poco professionale chiedo cortesemente se si potesse essere piu' cordiali nel servirci al che la barista inizia ad attaccarci con pesanti offese e a darci dei bugiardi. La barista ha negato tra l'altro di essere corsa a servire un cliente entrato dopo di noi lasciando a meta' dell'opera il nostro caffe', negando l'evidenza essendo che e' stato proprio il mio collega ad aprirgli la porta del locale. Il cliente non dovrebbe avere sempre ragione se si lamenta di un tangibile disservizio?Ma come si permette questa signorina a trattare dei clienti abituali in questo modo?Esiste anche la parola "mi scusi" giusto, dato che tutti possono sbagliare...Caro "Da Luca" ti consiglio vivamente di cambiare il personale a contatto col pubblico, ricorda che i clienti e' difficile conquistarli, ma si sta un secondo a perdeli. A noi non ci vedrai mai piu'. Hai perso diversi clienti abituali della nostra banca all'angolo, ma non ti preoccupare il caffe' Illy andremo a berlo da Manon, costa meno e sono piu' educati e simpatici.

En busca de un ligero mordisco y una copa de vino antes de dirigirse a su casa solo para colarse, consiguió la única mesa de repuesto (siempre es una buena señal). El personal fue maravilloso, excelente servicio, ya que teníamos que tomar un tren, vino increíble, antipasti italiano encantador. Valor bastante bueno, diría: obtienes lo que pagas.

I was initially attracted by its aesthetics but then discovered that everything else about Luca was rather good. Good friendly service, tasty food (parmigiana aubergines, tuna tartare, truffle and parmisan flavoured chips, etc.) and some top notch aperol spritz - not an easy thing to come across in this city.

Am a regular visitor at this great little wine bar. Good selection of wine and food -served by lively waiting staff. Fun atmosphere but busy and crowded on most evenings. Pretty expensive but worth paying for a venue markedly better than most in the vicinity. Recommended.

Un viejo amigo y vine a capricho en una noche de martes. El camarero nos preguntó si habíamos estado antes y, cuando nos indicaron que no tenían, procedieron a explicar la manera en la que funciona, como tapas. Pedimos 3 entrantes y compartimos un fettuccine. Toda la experiencia fue maravillosa, de principio a fin: era relajado, informal, amable (indecisas sobre vino a beber en vaso, nos trajeron un par de probar) y, lo más importante es que la comida era una explosión de sabores. Ingredientes simples ejecutado a la perfección la delicia absoluta o nuestras papilas gustativas. Y a £45 p/cabeza para la comida, además de dos copas de vino cada uno, sin duda volveremos.

Excellent place for a relaxed lunch off the beaten track and away from the hustle and bustle. Italian tapas well presented and well served. Not going to break the bank by city standards. Good intelligent wine list with something for everyone. One of those places where time stands still while you are there.

Un grupo de nosotros conocimos para comer aquí el viernes pasado. El primer camarero tuvimos sugirió que la orden entrantes, pero no platos principales y no entiendo por qué y no explicar, así que no pida algo los principales, ya que estaban en el menú y que parece normal. Para hacer una larga historia corta el tiempo para el primer plato estaba bien y tardaron casi una hora para los platos principales. No sé si fue un cocinero o dos, pero el restaurante era caos y hay algunas cosas en el menú que no sirven. Parecía haber sido honesto con nosotros sobre la situación y ellos no deberían tener cosas en el menú que no quiere navegar porque toma mucho tiempo. No gusta especialmente la comida y toda la experiencia fue extraña y muy frustrante y mi marido tuvo que salir antes de su comida venía porque necesitaba regresar a trabajar. No volvería y no puedo recomendar este restaurante a cualquiera, ya que no parecen estar bien dirigido y realmente no fue una experiencia muy bonita

Una mesa de 7 sentó al mediodía exactamente. Pedimos entrantes para compartir - que eran buenas, pero en 1. 15 todavía no habían servido como plato principal. Cancele y la izquierda, ya que no podíamos esperar más - camarero estaba diciendo que podía llegar a cocinar y fiebre mía (delante de resto de grupo! ). 75 minutos y todavía no había plato principal en el almuerzo en la ciudad! ? Amigos me dijeron que cuando por fin llegue a 1. 45, el cavatelli era sosa y duro, así que aparentemente no se pierda mucho.

Fui por primera vez la semana pasada con mi madre y 3 amigos. Nos recibieron con un servicio amable y una gran carta de vinos. Sin embargo, fue la comida que nos hará volver. Todos pedimos algo diferente desde el menú y quedamos encantados con cada plato. El parmigiano era fuera de este mundo y el croquetas eran para morirse. Me pareció que no había nada en este menú mis amigos y yo no me encanta.

Un lugar agradable y relajante, à situado convenientemente en la ciudad y ofrece una buena selección de vinos italianos y una variedad de antipasti (hay comidas calientes y es perfectamente posible tener una cena completa pero normalmente acabo de pedir un montón de carnes, quesos, etc.) italiano. El servicio es bueno y rápido. Es buena idea reservar una mesa con antelación ya que es un lugar popular y se llena rápidamente. También sirve un buen café, así que es bonito parada durante el día para una escapada rápida o reunión.

Se llena un viernes almuerzo. . . . Puedo ver por qué. Decoración agradable, aunque principalmente las sillas altas que no son las más cómodas, comida decente. El menú es pequeño y centrado en una principales unos y unos cuantos platos compartir. Tenía una buena carne y una tabla de quesos para compartir, que es algo difícil de hacer bien, y no una ternera con repollo frito fettuccini Savoy. El plato estaba knock out, carnoso, aterciopelado con salsa cursi, pasta encantador. No es barato, pero es un buen lugar.

Visité este lugar un viernes por la noche, así que admito que probablemente las más concurridas de la noche. Me senté en una mesa de "alto". El lugar no era 100% completo, pero muy ruidoso y yo diría que un lugar mejor para visitar un lugar de trabajo con un grupo más que como una pareja. Dos pequeños platos y una botella de vino modesto llegó a menos de £100. Esto no sentir una buena relación en todo dada la calidad del lugar y de la comida. La comida estaba bien pero nada sorprendente. Así que en general mi veredicto es que el lugar está bien, pero no ofrecen una buena relación calidad-precio y es muy ruidoso.

Decent selection of wines that was even better under last management. Good selection of cheese and meat platter to go with it. Limited place seats/ place at the counter makes it a bit cramped but overall perfect place to catch up in the bank/ St. Paul’s area - not loud, friendly staff, decent wines and food.

Full of city workers starting their weekend, where alcohol consumption was as ( more? ) important than food. The restaurant only has stools accompanying high tables. Sharing starters ( meats, cheeses ) very good. Sharing main courses also good apart from the overly fatty lamb.

Can't fault the food, authentic Italian cuisine, perfect for sharing with friends. Waitress was attentive but not intrusive, happy to guide us through the menu and extensive wine list. Will definitely be back.
