Stopped for a quick coffee on the way to do a little shopping in town. Never been in here before but I have heard good things. From walking in the door we were greeted with friendly hellos from the staff. Ordered a coffee and a tea and within minutes we were served. Very relaxed atmosphere and the cakes looked amazing. We will be back. Special little treat on the side of our cups ….

Gyros was nice but the place is not child friendly or adaptive. Asked for a child’s tuna sandwich which arrived, two plain slices of bread with dry tuna placed in the middle. No sauce or butter. Was shocked on paying to be charged £9 for this, and when questioned was told we COULD have had the full tuna sandwich on home made bread and side dish so that’s why it was still full price. Very over priced and not child friendly menu.

Fantastic experience. Really friendly place with great food. Good value for money in York. Waiters were lovely. Lovely old building.

Had arancini which were tepid so took them back to be reheated, one was still lukewarm, would have been better freshly made -

We went to collect our order from Roccos the place is very clean and tidy the food is cooked fresh I had Quattro Stagioni pizza which is very tasty my husband enjoyed his Pollo Al Peppe will definitely recommend and we will order again.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Excellent pizzas, fresh ingredients, light & crispy base. Fast service. Would recommend for pizzas.

Excellent coffee. Good strong Americana served in a sensible sized cup and not drowned in a mug. I was in early so the cafe was quiet and the barista was wrestling with the coffee machine. Good to know that they know how to fix their own machines.

One of the best pizza places I’ve ever visited while traveling. During my three-day stay in York, I enjoyed it so much that I ate there twice. The pizza Margherita and Napolitana were absolutely delicious, and the Sicilian cannolo was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Really lovely evening watching the George Michael tribute tonight. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the music started whilst we were eating. We made a pre order of our choices in advance. All tasted fresh and delicious!! All the tables were booked and shows how popular these evenings are! It was tricky to find the restaurant as we were driving in the dark, and the roads had lots of pot holes so you need to drive carefully!

I stopped here for a quick bite and I had the sausage and black pudding roll. Oh my, it's heavenly!! Perfect filling, served piping hot, and gorgeous pastry. I will be coming back here again. Thank you so much!

Great little Italian near the York Minster. Food menu was really well thought out with many options making it hard to choose what to enjoy for dinner! Great food and service and we had a lovely seat by the window downstairs that they managed to fit us in when they thought they were already fully booked. Thanks ❤️
