superb lunch including fabulous tuna carpaccio and monkfish - the deserts also were superb with a fine wine list - wonderful atmosphere with the owner present highly recommended

Six of us (family) met up for a Wednesday night pre theatre meal. 4 of us arrived together with 2 joining us 20 minutes later. We were concerned that we were pushing for time a little and asked if we could order immediately for us all and the friendly and accommodating waitress told us this wasn't a problem. When it became clear that 2 of our party were going to be delayed, we asked if they could hold back the meals a little longer and again we were told that was fine. Once we were all present the meals were served. We were all delighted with the food. Between us we had ordered pizza, calzone and spaghetti Bolognese. All went down very nicely and if we'd have had more time (and more stomach space), we would have ordered from the mouth watering dessert cabinet ( next time). Thank you, we'll be seeing you again,!

"Best Italian I've had in Sheffield" Brilliant maximalist restaurant. I absolutely loved the decor—full of character and charm, a refreshing change from the sterile, Apple Store-like vibe so many places go for these days. The food was fantastic. I had the spare ribs in a rich tomato sauce (which I later reused as a dip for my chips—genius), followed by the lamb shank served on a bed of creamy garlic mashed potatoes. The gravy was absolutely beautiful. Olives to die for! Honestly, this was the best Italian meal I’ve had in Sheffield.

Excellent food, lovely surroundings, will definitely come again.

I ordered a medium rare fillet steak. I have always ordered medium rare from many places. This, however, was raw. Not rare, mind you, which is fine, No, literally completely raw. Even smelt raw . Unbelievable. Money down the drain and still need to buy/cook food for the day. Worst experience ever !!! I tried the lasagna as well, which was quite awful.

New management, consistently great food with a good atmosphere. It's bring your own wine.🥳☺️

Service quite slow. Rather pricey but may be as its all gluten free. Vegetarian food was OK

Traditional lovely local Italian. Been coming for years. Always fantastic. Staff really friendly. Definitely recommend!

Rubbish coffee, food ok. Had to wait ages for mayo. Great service from Dylan though

Where's the cheese? They hardly put on any cheese now and your standard pizza is just a lump of dough. Its really changed for the worse nowadays. Very disappointing. If you want a much better pizza (with free parking!) then travel up the road to the Florentine pub. Proove is simply awful now.

This visit was for a special Sardinian night. The evening went very well with excellent food and wines and the service and atmosphere was very friendly. We always enjoy eating here and look forward to the next time
