The best restaurants serving Italian food in West Midlands

Very nice food and perfect friendly service

We came for a meal with family, three of us had pizza and two of us had pasta with garlic bread. The last time I visited must have been over 7 years ago, and the menu didn't appear to have changed which is a shame. I ended up ordering the same pasta dish I had previously (linguine genovese). Overall I would say the food was average. The pizzas weren't anything special, and the quality of the toppings could have been better. Equally the pasta dishes were average, if a bit boring. The garlic bread was delicious though! It would be nice to see some different things on the menu and perhaps some additional ingredients to some of the pasta dishes.

Very pleased with the food until the Chef walked through the dining area with what can only be called a dirty grey Chef's jacket, they come in White and you use an appron for safety first and to keep the jacket clean, to the owners of no 32 I would send him on a hygiene course, I was head Chef for over 20 years and never did I look so dirty as him.

What a brilliant find ! Authentic Italian cuisine, music, staff. I could go on. It was full to brimming which alone speaks for itself. Far exceeds the chain Italians. We shall most definitely be returning.

The best Italian food! My lasagne was perfect, my partner had venison ragu which again was perfect. The setting was stunning as well. Look forward to eating here again

Always a good experience at Prezzo. Tasty and freshly prepared food. Nice staff and very clean premises.

Really disappointed tonight with dinner at Pizza by Goli. Unfortunately the two dishes recommended by the waitress from the specials of the day were really disappointing both in size and taste. Pasta with steak and peppers was not great and definitely not with the price of £35. The waitress was trying too hard too make us choose something from the more expensive menu And convince us that these dishes are better than our original choices from the main menu. This was a big mistake. I really liked Pizza by Goli a few years ago, but I think it’s lost its authenticity somewhere on the way. And definitely the pressure to spend as much money as possible made me feel uncomfortable. Thankfully there are new Italian restaurants in town that provide alternative choice for me and my family so I don’t think I will be back anytime soon.

Visited on Wednesday and ordered a full English breakfast. It was delicious and the staff are so friendly. Will definitely return.
