Atelier Del Cibo in Wolverhampton

Came here for a lovely lunch and was amazed by the amount of options on the menu, from paninis to pizza, pasta to seafood, arancine, bruschetta and everything in between, you name it they had it! We came with a large group of friends but the size of our party was no problem for the waitresses as they flitted around us with fast and friendly service, wine and water topped up in our glasses without asking and desserts and coffees presented to us like they had fell out of a London restaurant. A shame the two previous reviewers were disappointed with the presentation and lack of salad garnish with their meals, both of the dishes in question should like what my friend actually had - pollo Milanese - and I’m not sure what is to be expected from fried chicken and chips it’s not something that can really be prettied up? There were various side options for salad so we ordered stunning side bowls of salad to go alongside our beautifully presented food.

Popped in for impromptu sandwich for lunch. The lunch time menus were set out on our table. After looking at them we were then told that menu wasn’t being served after one (it was 1.30) so had to order from the dinner menu ( more expensive), even though it was lunch time. I hadn’t noticed on the front of the menu it said until 1.30, but presumed the menu was there for a reason! Food then served was way below average, an uninspiring piece of chicken in crumb on a big plate with a bowl of chips that tasted very oily. No salad or any garnish, very basic, with no care for presentation. Other meal was not well presented either, and just really average. Felt it was very expensive for the disappointment. Didn’t have time or inclination to complain just wouldn’t go back.

Family night out, can’t fault the service but the food really let this place down. The restaurant is very noisy and cramped with little space between tables. The prices are quite expensive. The food we ordered was dry and tasteless a chicken escalope with no sauces, it’s chips or salad but not both, I left a large portion of my main course as a consequence of this, wish I had had a pizza instead.

Lovely location, overlooking Tettenhall green. New owners seem to value quality ingredients with tasty meals at reasonable prices. Service was great without being too overbearing. Relaxed vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will return.

Will have to review again next time if ever return to feast on their Italian menu offerings. Stopped in to try their coffee and cake. The coffee wonderful. Cake was decadent. Note to self: £7 / slice =#London prices. Ka-ching!

Really tasty, authentic Sicilian food: various arancini, bruschette, artichokes etc… plus fabulous tiramisu, pannacotta. This was a spontaneous mid-afternoon check-out and we’ll most definitely be back with a plan (the cannoli alone said “tornare presto!”) - as did the delightful personal service, topped off by a surprise birthday message that came with dessert, courtesy of a very observant team. Brave, signorine!

A lovely addition to Tettenhall village! The staff are very friendly and the food is good. I have visited on a few occasions - for coffee and also for lunch. The gluten free pizza is the best I have eaten outside of Italy.

Food was lovely but lighting far too bright for it to be a cosy intimate meal in the evening. Quite a clinical environment- blinds not closed in the evening, no candles on the tables or small cases - no personal touches Staff also don’t make any conversation or engage with their customers. More smiles would also be good as one waiter in particular looked like he was tolerating the customers

Now under new management and with a new name this place in Tettenhall village looks to be very good. I visited today with my business partner for lunch and had a very nicely judged sea-food linguine. Hot, fresh, plenty of fish. It could not be faulted. The setting is busy and parking is available close by. I would visit her again and probably try and evening meal.

Great surprise visit ! We visited late on a Saturday afternoon (we had booked). Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.The food was delicious- we ordered a variety of dishes for our group - mushroom ravioli, fritto misto & sea bass. The venue seems to be a family run business with a bistro/cafe feel which suited our expectations. Our group tried the house white & house red & again they were very palatable. Thank you for your service. If we’re ever in the area again I’m sure we’d visit again😊

A fabulous luncheon great quality well cooked food friendly professional service and a lovely atmosphere it was extremely busy when we arrived the restaurant was full that always tells you something.Will definitely return and recommend well done to all concerned
