Allo Pizza in Stoke-on-Trent

Absolutely disgusting place and disgusting people I went in allo pizza and saw one guy itching his private parts and pecking his nose then making the pizza without washing his hands and didn’t use gloves! 🤢 I would never recommend this place to anyone DO NOT ORDER!!

We have used Allo since we moved to the area in 1999, within the last year both service and quality has taken a massive dive. The advised collection times are out by as much as 20 minutes, comments are made like “can’t make the oven go any faster”, the food quality is appalling now in so much as watered down sauces, reduction in toppings despite cost going through the roof. Unfortunately we will be looking for another pizza house going forward.

Been ordering from here off and on for years and I love it! The Bolognese base is great. The prices are better than your bigger named pizza take aways and the food is nicer in my opinion.

We as a family have ordered from Allo Pizza for a very long time. As I do not like pizza I order spaghetti bolognese, for the first few times I ordered this (on the phone) they said “we don’t serve it with cheese” after asking for no cheese. Tonight however, we have ordered it online, and it states “Pasta served with a tasty tomato and meat sauce” - which does not say ‘served with cheese’ etc. When I called up, I explained that it had never come with cheese before and the lady on the phone got an awful attitude and interrupted me on numerous occasions. When we have had problems in the past with an order from Allo Pizza, we have called and it has been resolved with no problem. Tonight it has shocked me. It puts you off ordering from somewhere when somebody feels like the need to talk down on you like the lady on the phone did, and it really does let an excellent takeaway like Allo Pizza down!

I tried to order online for delivery on what must be the most user unfriendly website on the planet. I was not convinced the order had gone thru so phoned up and guess what? It had not so I ordered from another well established company nearby.

Regulars for a delivery from here. Best garlic dip ever. Pizza's not cooked enough this time which was a shame. On the whole tasty.

Poor customer service skills will not be returning no apology or offer of replacement food when regular item had been replaced.

This is the best pizza place ever! Me and my wife love this place. Their pizzas are amazing and so is the pasta and the garlic bread is to die for.

This is my local pizza shop and although it's not like the big pizza brand chains their pizzas in my opinion are actually a lot better. Customer service is spot on. Food I've never had a problem with and always happen to use weather I order in the shop or order for delivery

Ordered food from Alloa Pizza last night. The 'delivery driver' dropped the food all over the drive so of course I rang up and Lynne told me it was the 'Unfortunate mistake of a new elderly delivery driver'. However, it turns out this 'elderly delivery driver' is actually the owner's husband. Don't think it's the best business practice trying to deceive your customers to try and cover up a mistake? Additionally, the replacement food then arrived by a different delivery driver, only to drop our food on the drive again... Brought the issues up with Lynne and her resolution is that she 'is not going to respond further' to my messages, and that she will no longer deliver to our address. Most bizarre customer experience I've ever had.

We called for a delicious Allo Pizza Special with a portion of chips on our was back from the theatre in Hanley. Authentic Italian delicous take away the best Calzone and Pizza in Stoke, don't go anywhere else (and they deliver as well)

This is my local pizza shop and its got great quality food at good prices. Staff are very friendly. Weather you walk in and order or weather you have delivered the service is spot on

Found this place tonight for the first time, what a revelation the pasta was fab Calzone garlic bread also great. Will definitely be using again 👍

Everything was lovely ate my half of the cheesey garlic calzone until my other half went to eat his half and a huge black hair was intertwined within the cheese so yeah we didn’t eat the rest if I could I would of regurgitated the bit I ate.

Omg the best pizza place ever. New customers and not disappointed. We order the Bolognese pizza and Capone garlic bread. To die 4. Will be trying out the carbonara as heard amazing

We have been using Allo regularly for the last year and happily, and indeed unusually for any takeaway, it never disappoints whether pizza or pasta. Keep up the fantastic work!

I went in for a take away but was totally ignored NY the guy serving who was talking to I believe a delivery driver Ignorant at best!

Good food but STOPPED using them due to telephone orders being recorded! Reject the surveillance society!

Yo vivo cerca de Allo Pizza y cuando me enteré que era un restaurante italiano propiedad llegué muy emocionado! Y los sabores no me decepcionó. Lo que sí que me decepcionó fue que la pizza es una pizza crust en lugar de pensar finas y no tienes ninguna opción para cambiar esto. Pero recomendaría Allo es delicioso, mucho mejor que cualquier otra "moda" lugares populares pizza

My family often orders from here. The delivery is excellent and the delivery drivers extremely polite and punctual. The supreme garlic cheese calzone thing is absolutely delicious and terrifying in equal measure. I had to stop joining in- I swear my hiatus hernia was starting to salivate when I called their number.

Brilliant food. Nice to have a take away that is different the pasta dishes are really tasty. The Greco pizza is the favourite of all the family. Always delivered hot and always on time.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered to Holiday inn express, the food arrived piping hot,and tasted great, we were very pleased with the food and would order again when we are in the area.

Me & my partner have just finished eating our delicious pizzas that we ordered, best pizza I've had in a while! Better than Papa Johns or Dominoes! Try Allo Pizza, you will not be disappointed!!! Great value for money also.

Been visiting this takeaway for the past 10 years and every time you go in you are greeted fantastically by front of house ash and always are treated professionally by him, they serve the best food at cheap prices which clearly oust the rest of the local competition great chefs and great food will always prioritise this over any other local takeaway.

We have just had a home delivery from the Allo pizza and to say that the food was not yummy would be a lie. ...The pizzas were scummy one was pepperoni and the other was ham and mushroom both piping hot and very yummy indeed. We also had a delivery of garlic mushrooms and chicken strippers which also were very nice Whenever we order from here we cannot fault the lad who takes the orders over the phone think his name is Ash good listening skills and very polite indeed. If you are looking for good Italian food cooked by real Italian cooks this is the Place to order from. Trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed

Best pizza you can get in stoke-on-Trent. Staff are friendly delivery times are reasonable and the price of the food is extremely good value .

I've been a customer for years, but after my last visit and awful customer service I will never go again. Initially only half our order turned up- this could have been easily solved with apologetic and accommodating staff but this was not the case. The delivery driver told us to 'warm up our own food' so that its hot to have with the other half of the order or to just eat it cold AND although he didn't know what was going on he still asked us to pay for the whole order. Then when phoning up the takeaway to ask what was going on with our order I was screamed at and made to feel belittled and it was implied that I was at fault for their mistake! I've never experienced such awful customer service, to argue with someone over their own mistakes when they're meant to be providing a service is astonishing. I was so disappointed and shocked- do you not want customers?

On my way from London to Liverpool, we got hungry. Straight to the Tripadvisor app, wanted pizza, searced for Italian style. Got Allo Pizza recommenden, it had several good reviews, so we went for that place. The pizza were okay, a bit better than average, so a little disapponted compared to the reviews. Okay, but not fantastic.

We regularly order a delivery from "Allo" if we fancy a night in,The pizzas are fantastic as is the delivery service,If they say "Be with you in 30minutes",they will be knocking on your door in 30 minutes!,the menu is varied and there is something for everyone, not just pizza,can't be faulted in any way.

Allo does the best pizza in the city!! We've ordered from there a few times, it always arrives pretty quickly and piping hot! Delivery drivers are always really polite and cheerful!!The pizza is delicious! It's not greasy like other takeaways and the toppings are plentiful ! We always have half and half as we are both picky!! Whenever we want pizza we just call Allo and will continue to for years to come!! The price and quality is outstanding

Ordered for delivery on a Saturday night and had to wait just over an hour. It was well worth the wait, the pizzas and accompaniments were excellent. I would definitely use this takeaway again and would certainly recommend to others.

I live not far from here and have had many takaways from this place, I can not fault anything from here, friendly staff, amazing food, good price, and quick delivery time. If a pizza is what your in the mood for pop in and make your own you will not regret it.

Quite simply the best takeaway of it's type in the area.Allo is an authentic Italian establishment and their food and delivery service is consistently excellent, you simply have to order your favourite and you know it will be just as good every single time.Great choice and terrific value for money and although we usually telephone our order through, I have been in and ordered and witnessed the production to order of your food, it is second to none and you have to try it.

Great takeaway for either pizza or pasta very clean and have an open kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking. Great tasting food and excellent service

Wouldn't usually bother reviewing a take-away but this place is different class and deserves a mention.I've been using this place for years, ordered hundreds of times and only ever had one item off of the menu, bolognese calzone. If I were to order one tomorrow night it will be identical to the first one I ever had, the quality is consistent, never sent me a bad meal.

We ordered a pizza from Allo over the telephone paying by card. Order delivered in 25 mins, hot and just as we requested. Lovely pizza that would rival the bigger names for flavour and freshness. Would recommend.

Have been coming to All Pizza for years their Allo Pizza "special" is first class and to be recommended, have just discovered their Calzone (folded pizza) with wonderful fillings : spicy Mexicano, Kebab, bolognese & onion and vegetarian all delicious, all freshly prepared and made why go anywhere else.

Dont think this is just about Pizza, this place does it all, Pasta, Chilli etc and all the food has that home cooked feel to it not like alot of francise pizza places that are thrown together with no care, Great value for money, lovely food and great staff, even the delivery driver takes the time to chat etc, we wont order from anywhere else!

Had a takeaway from here many times and always a pleasure. Authentic tasting home cooked Italian food, whether ordering a pizza or a pasta dish each meal is generous in portion, full of flavour and value for money. Would definitely recommend you give it a try, as looks can be deceiving.
