We’ve had the BEST week this week whilst working at The Regent Theatre and a lot of that is down to both the food and staff at Roberto’s. A fantastic service, incredible food and somewhere that does late dining, everything we could hope for. Alan, Chris, Akieel and John couldn’t have looked after us all more if they’d tried. Just beautiful food. I had the chicken in white wine with mushrooms, just lovely. They are really attentive with requests too. My nan had the haddock and said it was beautiful. My partner had one of the veggie pasta dishes and finished the lot ♥️

Popped in with the family for 4 large pizzas, amazing food in a lovely old school Italian restaurant. Safe to say we tucked all the pizzas away!

Went for lunch, family of 4, 4 lovely tasty pizzas 🍕. What a breath of fresh air compared with the formulaic Italian branded restaurants. We didn't realise that we walked in just as they were about to close after lunch. But to their credit they delayed their lunch break to serve us. A***

Hate to recommend Roberto's really, as I don't want other people to know about it. 2nd visit again the food was excellent. Amazing staff, so friendly. If you are in stoke pay this place visit. If you are going pre-theatre, book, or you won't get in.

It’s been a little while since we had last visited but over the years we must have been 20-30 times. The food and feel of the place is as great as ever. Lovely Italian food made in from of you. Efficient and friendly service and it brought back so many wonderful family memories and the photos of 70/80/90’s theatre stars just adds to the place Give this restaurant a go rather than your ping pong Dominoes.

I always enjoy a visit to Roberto’s, it’s certainly always busy when there is a show on at The Regent, this was no exception, it was packed. We enjoyed Arancini and caprese salad to start, both delicious and generous portions. To follow we had a Giovani pizza, loads of tasty toppings and a tuna salad, the salad was a touch disappointing, literally lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and tuna, the excellent olive oil and balsamic pepped it up a bit. The service was great, food generally good and the reasonable bill very welcome. Highly recommend a visit, booking essential.

Order took 1 hour 30 mins to arrive. Drinks were forgotten on order. Lasagne portion was poor for £12 - mostly just sauce with minimal pasta. Extremely unhappy with order and not the normal standard from Roberto’s.

We had dinner at Roberto's *three* nighs in a row while visiting Stoke On Trent this week. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing and the place was really cozy! We're a bunch of picky eaters and our requests for customization was graciously accepted. If we lived locally, this would be our regular haunt. We will most definitely be back if we ever revisit.

Best tagliatelle carbonara I've ever had, absolutely delicious 🤌🏻🇮🇹 had it twice now and will continue to have it. Partner had cannelloni this time, had chicken arriabata last time and they loved both. Thank you so much for the amazing food ❤️

You have to wait for them in rush hours and for a good reason: easily one of the best pizza around. Absolutely delicious. The cheese cake is a joke though. £7 for a tiny peace which tastes "ok", so in my opinion buy pizza skip the dessert.

Staying at a hotel round the corner and had resigned myself to eating at some terrible chain restaurant. So was delighted to find this wee gem. Kids loved their meals, and my pizza was great.

Best pizza you can have ! We had some issues with the delivery, however the owner was very helpful and responsive and even offered our food for free ! Brilliant take out ! Definitely recommend

Fantastic quality Italian food and good prices. Lovely atmosphere mid week with pre theatre guests so restaurant was full. Service very good. Only negative is shabby staircase leading upstairs and restaurant needs redecorating but still retain its traditional Italian feel.

Amazing food, really authentic tasting food! The kids demolished my pasta after tasting it! I managed 3-4 bites and they polished it up haha! Amazing food. Will be coming in for a meal with the family at the restaurant soon

My family and I have had the pleasure of eating at Roberto’s numerous times and have enjoyed various pasta, fish, steak, pizza and starter dishes. We have thoroughly enjoyed each and every dish. They cater for my daughter’s vegan diet, too - which is often hard to find. I would highly recommend Roberto’s. Their food is packed with flavour and the staff are friendly.

first week we ordered from here 1 of the meals was short ordered again last night and 1 of the meals wasn't what we ordered waited so long for the delivery couldn't be bothered to complain won't order again sorry

They sent me the wrong pasta dish I ordered, I'm a fan of carbonara so I didn't mind. I didn't even call them up but they contacted me, apologized and said they are sending the correct order out to me now. Amazing service as I was just going to eat my already amazing pasta but now I have a late night snack sorted 😋

Food was impeccable came nice and hot and the flavours were next level, I thought the portion sizes were well priced and for such good standard of food. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

We stopped here after visiting Barlow Motors in Stoke to test-drive a car. What a wonderful restaurant!! Very comprehensive menu (unlike the other "Italian" restaurants we looked at in the town), some unusual dishes but all very authentic, and a lovely ambience that made you feel like you were in Italy. Staff were really genuinely friendly and attentive, the food was absolutely amazing, and good value too. We will be back to collect our car in August, and we're definitely visiting Roberto's again on the way back. Really wish we had a place like this where we live.

Small portions for big prices. Not worth it

We ordered from just eat 1 pasta alla sorentino and a turtle pizza. The pasta was simply amazing. In regards to the pizza, it was tasty but not loaded almost at all. Overall the food was really good. In terms of prices, even with 20% discount it was massively expensive for the portions sent.

The food was very disappointing. For a genuine Italian, our pizza was quite dry. I was expecting fantastic, fresh & delicious and unfortunately, it just didn't deliver. It was expensive for what we had. The place is quite tired and shabby and could do with a fresh lick of paint. Sorry, but i won't be back in a hurry.

Ordered 2 pizzas but only 1 was delivered on time, had to wait another 20 minutes for the next pizza to arrive. Pizzas tasted alright but quite small. Very stingy portion of mushrooms for the price. Quite gutted, will try elsewhere in future.

Never been before despite having lived close my whole life. Food was amazing! Pizza came a little bit greasy but can look over as it still tastes good! The Seafood pancakes are my recommendation!

Serious neglect. There are trees growing out of the sides and top of the building. So sad. The food was nice but I wonder what the state of the kitchens are given the condition of the building. Needs a serious bit of refurbishment.

I love this place. It is a time machine with delicious food and great service. If you're after a trendy, swish place this is NOT the place for you. It doesn't need to be as its reputation and quality out lasts all of that nonsense.

Any occasion there's no where else we think about going, Roberto's is always the one. The food is amazing, lovely tasty and not overpriced. Proper rustic Italian food. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely evening. Tonight was my husbands 50th and they made it so special. The owner went over and above to help me sort my husbands cake out. Can't recommend here enough, whether it's a special occasion, quick meal out or a take away we have never had a bad meal or experience here.

Went to see a show at theater. Decided to have food first. We got there at 18:00 we had the last available table. Food was excellent even the monkey pizza which is ham, pineapple and wait for it... Banana. Strangely it was really nice. Price was very reasonable. Very friendly atmosphere however if you are thinking of going I would seriously recommend that you book first or you may be disappointed. I hate to say this as it may get overbooked for the next time we go to the theater but. Really I truly recommend this to everyone. The staff are so nice. Oh and don't forget to tip them. I gave them a tip and they looked shocked that they received one?

This was the best meal in every way. I took my parents for a meal at Robertos this week and what an experience, the staff straight away were attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was authentic and warm. The food was on another level starters, mains, desserts and coffee were incredible from start to finish. We had a lovely chat with the owner John and he was everything an owner should be, he spoke so highly of everyone who worked at the restaurant when we gave compliments of our evenings experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Robertos is family run and you feel that from the second you enter, our evening couldn’t have been better, it’s the best meal out we have had. Thank you to all the team for making a Monday meal out such an experience. We will no doubt be back soon.

Had booked a table before a show and, unfortunately, someone had already pretended they were us and had taken our table! The team at the restaurant were incredibly lovely and made sure that we were looked after and managed to give us an unforgettable experience which was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, the restaurant buzzing, the staff incredibly responsive and friendly. What many restaurants could have made an awful experience, Roberto's made an unforgettably brilliant night. Will 100% be coming back - thank you!

If you enjoy proper freshly cooked food then eat at Roberto's. The menu is vast and everything on there is amazing. Stoke needs more family run places like this rather than chain restaurants. The decor won't be to everyone's tastes but the service, food and drinks are fantastic. It is also extremely well priced for the quality you get. Been for another visit, still as fantastic as ever. Great food, great service, great value.

Fantastic food and service! Ordered tonight and unfortunately one of the meals was missing. Called and spoke to a friendly member of staff who apologised and arranged for the meal to be sent out. The owner arrived at our door with the meal along with a complimentary bottle of wine and insisted the meal was not to be paid for. What a wonderful way to go above and beyond to rectify an understandable mistake and maintain custom! Plus the food is delicious!

My initial opinion was it was very bright in there and I think the lighting could have been a little dimmer for an evening but the wonderful service & beautiful food soon made us forget thst. Real authentic & super tasty food. Great portions too. Thank you to the chef and waitresses. We'll definitely be back

Just love it...the best Italian in the area... don't be afraid to ask for a mod to your dish...my wife loves the traditional carbonara rather than the typical UK version with cream and they also have excellent gluten free options for my daughter-in-law, she loves having the gf garlic bread with her mussels

The food was absolutely amazing. The service and the staff were exceptional. We did not feel rushed at all, which I have felt in quite a number of places recently. The restaurant was really busy which says a lot. Such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and really great value. Can't wait to come back :-)

Always taste amazing and great portion size

Exceptional food & service - can't fault them. And the prices are very reasonable too. Nothing was too much trouble - we 'tailor-made' our pizzas which were absolutely delicious & cooked perfectly. I've been coming here since the late 1970's but haven't been for a little while now, but I'm delighted to say that things are just as great as they always were. We've already booked to come back over Easter & are looking forward to it. Three little things: 1. I'd forgotten how high up the toilets were on the top floor. I needed oxygen by the time I'd got there! Obviously not as fit as I was in the late 70's! 2. We had the spinach & ricotta crepe as a starter which was absolutely delicious. It's a shame this isn't available as a main course too. 3. I think the pre-theatre menu needs updating with more enticing items. It's pretty bland, to be honest, & nothing really caught our eye.

Superb food and service. Beautiful food. The only gripe would be the toilets are up 2 flights of stairs. Who cares? The decor is out of the 90s - so what, they still use white cotton table cloths! Amazing!! The food and attentive but not overbearing service were exceptional. Wonderful atmosphere thanks to the open kitchen, clearly very fresh ingredients, wonderful cooking. We were very satisfied as was everyone else in the packed dining room. Short wine list, good quality wine and very reasonable prices food and wine. Thanks Roberto's!

Lovely authentic Italian food, a firm favourite amongst friends! Never had a bad meal here, and the desserts are to die for, especially the cheesecakes. The red velvet cheesecake haunts my dreams! 🤤 The service is always great, the only downside is how close the tables are, you can find yourself side-stepping between tables to get out.

Really beautiful food, I had the filet steak with peppercorn and porcini sauce. Absolutely gorgeous. Al dente veg, perfect again. We also had the spinach and ricotta ravioli and the grilled chicken with veg, both lovely. The caprece salad was fresh and delicious. Garlic bread again fresh and the fresh olives and homemade bread with dipping oils was a great touch. My can of pop was forgotten but the food was that delicious I don’t even mind. Will definitely be back!
