The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

Lovely meal, the waitresses Charlie and Kacey were so helpful and friendly and the service was brilliant.

Food was mediocre. Portions vary in size. Charged £2 for added chicken to a mushroom pasta dish to find only 3 very small pieces!!! One of the assistant managers took us to our table (3 middle aged ladies) and basically just left us. After waiting for 1/2 hr I had to call someone over. The female server said that she had not been told to serve us!! The male server who brought us our food looked like he was sucking lemons and never cracked a smile during the evening. Our saving grace was the other assistant manager, JAKE, who very kindly brought us some Prosecco to make up for our distress plus it was also my birthday. We know Jake from previous visits and he is a real Star. Such a lovely personable young man who always makes time to talk to us and makes sure we are being properly looked after. He is a real asset to the restaurant in Taunton. Thank you Jake for saving my birthday celebrations 🙏

Wanted try this place for long time, but unfortunately was really disappointed about the main meal. Ordered focaccina barese and parmigiana. Focaccia was absolutely delicious. Fresh and nicely crispy. Little bit salty - but I usually put lots of salt on everything as well. So was okay for me. But the parmigiana was soo salty, that I couldn’t eat more than two spoons. And as I said, I put lots of salt on everything. But this was far too much even for me.

I am so glad I didn’t just have the 20% off but also the £7.08 from the stamp card. As it’s the only way this meal was not wildly over priced. As the calamari was very badly over cooked and there wasn’t enough aioli for the amount of calamari. plus your delivery time was so far out. The minimum time was 30 minutes. Mine came in 15 minutes so I ended up having supper at 5:45pm instead of 6pm. Sort your delivery times out. Unluckily I could only give both your for and your delivery 2 stars today!

Visited Bottelino’s for a colleague’s leaving do ~30 of us. To start with, the service was impeccable - considering the size of our group, there was no wait for our food, everything came out in a timely manner and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Food was tasty, everyone commented on how delicious their food was and how generous the portion sizes were! Would definitely visit again!
