Lovely staff, so friendly! Food came out in a good amount of time and was delicious. Even got £10 by signing up to their website. Would 10000% recommend.

Iain was really nice and helpful. Smile on his face and food was great and big portions.

Not bad, I went with the calzone and it was a decent size, have had to knock it down a star though. First few bites were beaut, then came the 3rd bite and my god I've never sweated so much since having my korma the other week! There was no mention of spice in the calzone but this bad boy was stuffed with it! Managed to finish it and had to wash it down with a glass of water before hitting the road jack with a reet sweat on!

We enjoyed a great meal here and despite being alone on the floor George did an amazing job and was really kind and patient. We really enjoyed our food. We had the carbonara and the spicy sausage and it was delicious. Thanks to the hard working team at Bella Italia Exeter!

Our waitor Iain went above and beyond to make our experiance special. Nothing was too much trouble and he talked to my son with warmth and regarded him as just as important as me. He made it feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant and was extremely smiley. We ordered with ease as he answered any questions i had, the food came out piping hot and was lovely and he was just great. My son and i have never gone out for lunch together before, just us and he made it a wonderful experiance for him. Thank you Iain! My son has already decided we are coming back again and has even decided what he is going to order next time.

we visited bella italia exeter and were served by george. the food and service is phenomenal. we were celebrating a birthday and all of our requirements were met above expectations! food was honestly some of the best i’ve tased in years and staff made us feel so welcome! 100% recommend!

Amazing experience, I visited Bella Italia for my friend’s birthday and had the best experience. The staff were really kind and welcoming, especially George who went above and beyond to meet our needs. I would dine here again, 10/10!!!

Georgia was amazing service so happy and smiley very attentive and good sense of humour really made the experience worth it definitely will be coming back.

Service was lovely and its a very nice place to sit in. Sadly the pizza was only luke warm and not cooked through. Also 7£ for 6 doughballs is not worth it.

I had not meant to dine this evening as I did not particularly feel hungry, However, after the delicious starters, I could not resist! Yet mains was very nice - spicy with chillies. Yum yum.

Super Service. Very child friendly. Small cups, child seats and special requests are fulfilled whenever possible.

The food was very good. We really really liked the option of having half a pizza with a mixed salad. It was also very childfriendly (high chair, kids menue for free on thursday and warm milk for.the little one). But what made the day for us, was the service, which was very friendy, and went the extra mile to cater to our wishes, even when not on the menue.

Very friendly atmosphere, efficient and professional service (thank you, Ian, for looking after me so well) and delicious food. What more could you want?

The main dish which I had, (spaghetti and meatballs) was ok. I expected more from an Italian restaurant though. The meatballs were way too big. The tiramisu, on the other hand was just downright awful. Overpriced, sticky, soggy mush. No taste of coffee liqueur or even coffee for that matter! The texture was not creamy or light but claggy and artificial. Sorry to say, I spent over £100 there on myself and 2 friends. So NOT worth it.

I went into Bella Italian for lunch with my mum , food , service and atmosphere were perfect , will definitely go back for more , it was out first visit and will definitely not be out last , I think the young man was called Ian I’m not sure but he was lovely , thank you for a lovely experience 😊

Overpriced but tasty pollo cacciatore pasta, even with 9.99 offer. Felt like a nuisance to staff, no atmosphere. Won't rush back.

Great place to eat. Tasty pasta and pizza. Place is a bit dated and dark at the back of the restaurant but team friendly and attentive, food tasty and full of flavours so overall good place to pop in for a meal. This is my place to go for a pizza or pasta so I would recommend it.

I couldn't fault the staff here they were friendly and very helpful but this was the worst Italian meal I have ever eaten. The meatballs were like processed pieces of rubber, the tortellini were like huge pieces of hard yellow leather filled with dog meat and the tiramisu which cost £7.95 was a thin slice with no fresh cream or any taste of the alcohol, I can make a better one at home. It was all so disappointing, it was the Macdonald's of Italian food, eat there when desperate and you don't know any other restaurants. The waiter was lovely and agreed to take the tortellini off the bill.

I love this place, great food and friendly staff at a great price

The food was good and the restaurant was bustling with people, however the waiter was very quick and preoccupied therefore creating a lack of intimacy between customer and waiter. To add to this, our order was wrong, but this was quickly corrected and we received a lovely hot meal. We recommend the meatballs, the carbonara, and the lasagne!

The service was fast and efficient. The food was ok . The place was quiet and the decor a bit tired and dated.

Not our best meal out. Having been told that as some of us had food allergies we needed to scan a QRL and look up the information. Then was constantly asked if we wanted to order. Whilst trying to navigate the various layers of information on a phone screen. Eventually found what looked like a nice meal and ordered. When all 4 meals arrived we were informed that they couldn’t guarantee the chicken had not been fried with out coming into contact with nuts. So we had to reject it and our 11 year old had to reorder, whilst the rest of us had our meal in front of us. It is the restaurants responsibility not our to scroll through the app which was inaccurate. Did nobody learn from resent court cases, as it turns out on of are party was up all night. Another place to the naughty step.

We had booked a table for a large party, it was the Devon county show weekend and they had thought they would be quiet, every table was full with only 3 staff, they were really helpful, welcoming and efficient

Ian the host was amazing as well as all the kitchen staff were so welcoming and the service was impeccable despite a late arrival. I will definitely be coming back again!!! A perfect way to end the weekend. Yummy!

We had a lovely family birthday lunch here. When we got to our table, it was decorated with balloons & bunting. The service was excellent, Ian really went out of his way to look after us. The food was lovely. Very filling, but lovely. Will definitely be returning

Iain. Went above and beyond for us, was up against it with minimal staffing levels but remained calm, professional and retained a seemingly ever present charm. Great asset. Kasia. A very warm personality, professional and proactive attitude to her work makes her a credit to her own personal brand and Bella Italia’s! We had a really great time, it was my Mum's Birthday and they put up balloons and decorations for her!! The staff were great. Food was fab. And the kids are for a pound as we ordered before 6pm. Their kids pizza's were the same size as ours! We can't recommend it highly enough.

Food & staff where excellent, 2 course meal for 2 people seated, ate & out the door all within 30 minutes everything came out steaming hot. Our first time visiting Bella Italia and it was a great evening. only slight quibble is that it was quite dark! my eyesight is poor at the best of times so I was struggling to see my food lol but I guess thats the ambiance they're going for.

Food was nice but I don’t think it was worth the full menu price although with discount it was worth it! Service was quick. We both enjoyed our meals.

The sauce on the chicken wings is delicious The meat balls in the spaghetti are delicious, but the noodles taste average The pizza is crispy and very good The bottom of the dessert is chocolate chip cookies and the top is vanilla ice cream.

Bella Italia didn’t disappoint us! we went with no booking and we were seated straight away, lovely and friendly staff, from the moment you came in you fell welcomed. Service received from Aga was spot on. We had a chicken burger and cheese burger for mains and they were delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

We had great lunch in Bella Italia last Saturday - tasty pizzas and pastas serviced by friendly and supportive staff. Fully recommended!

Came here for a spontaneous date and bought my dog along, all staff were very accommodating, finding us a lovely little table tucked away in the corner and coming to give my dog the attention she loves! We will be returning. Fantastic service from Ian and the team, lovely food and great deals. What more could you want! 😊

Had a starter and main was really poor one small piece of garlic bread that didn't have much garlic on it! The pizza had better from a tescos frozen one very overpriced on what it was !!

I would like to thank Iain who served us in the exeter Bella Italia today at lunch time, it was extremely busy, but Iain kept his cool, and nothing was too much trouble for him, he worked very hard under alot of pressure and I noticed he was very dilligent, wiping the tables to a high standard and clearing them, also very polite, he is certainly a great asset to the restaurant, thanks Iain for a fantastic experience, see you again soon, keep up the good but hard work, the food was also delicious 😋 the carbonra really lovely with that extra palmasan

Delicious lunch at Bella Italia today. The restaurant was busy but our waiter - Ian - looked after us efficiently.

I’ve been to Bella Italia couple of times with my friends and family. I can say it is my favourite Italian restaurant in Exeter. The service was excellent every time and the food is always fantastic and no matter what I order. Iain was our server today and he was very attentive efficient, and polite. He dealt with our allergy requirements properly. Overall, I would definitely recommend .

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon with my family and we were warmly greeted by a number of the team. We were seated promptly. Our Food arrived with the requested additions and subtractions to accommodate everyone's preferences and it was very tasty, both my children finished their meal, which was lovely. We ordered Calzones, Gamberoni and Mushroom Pasta with various starters. We will definitely return. Thank you.
