Order was not delivered. Called a person at zizzis, he was lovely and very helpful. The delivery driver was awful, very rude and never gave me the order. The driver called me to say he was outside when he wasn’t

We were served by lady named Hope and she was very nice and polite, 10/10 service.

I had a really lovely early evening meal to celebrate my birthday, I’d booked in advance which given it was a busy Saturday was definitely worthwhile. As a solo diner I’d say I got the best seat in the house as I love to people watch while I dine and the placing was perfect. The starter, Calamari and main Chicken Casareccia Della Casa were both delicious washed down with a very pleasant Pinot Grigio and then finished with a delightful Espresso Martini. Finally I’d just like to thank my lovely waitress Karina for looking after me so well.

Pizza was excellent but is was a little hard to grab the waiters’ attention because we were tucked in a corner. Service was ok, overall.

We had an amazing meal tonight at Zizzi in Exeter, and this was all down to the brilliant service by Hope. She was kind, bubbly and most accommodating. She was always smiling despite the restaurant being extremely full. All service tonight was so quick and efficient and the food (as always) was the best! It was great to try the new menu. Thank you Hope !<3

We went to Zizzi in Exeter today for a birthday celebration. The food was very good and the service was fantastic. I’d like to thank the person serving our table who went above and beyond to help us as my daughter has an eating disorder but nothing was too much trouble to ensure she had what she needed. Lots of places aren’t sympathetic to this - so thank you!

Desserts were divine especially the lemon blackcurrant cheesecake with the best ice-cream. The starters were delicious especially meatballs and skewered chicken. Mains were lack luster, beef ragu was very bland and disappointing, spaghetti bolognese was better but average same with the pizza, glad that we had desserts as they were tip top. The service was great and atmosphere good for a Monday.

Many thanks to Eve for looking after our group so well this lunchtime. The food was delicious and the whole group appreciated her patients whilst we sorted out the bill. Rob

Came as a group of ten later afternoon on a Saturday to round off birthday celebrations. Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, really friendly and helpful. Food was amazing.

I writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your restaurant on 7 February at approximately 18:00.My friend and I dined at your establishment and experienced unprofessional service that made us feel neglected and unwelcome. When we arrived, the restaurant was not particularly busy, with only about four or five occupied tables. However, the staff ignored us and prioritized other tables that arrived after us. A server only approached us to ask about drinks but did not inquire about our food order. We waited for an excessive amount of time without any follow-up from the staff. To make matters worse, the table next to us, which arrived later, received their food before us. On our table, four wine glasses were left untouched even though we had only ordered Coca-Cola, and the menus remained there without being cleared. No staff member removed the glasses until we had to call them over ourselves. Later, when my friend arrived, we placed our food order through the restaurant’s online system. However, not a single staff member came to check if our food was satisfactory or if we wanted additional drinks. Our table was completely ignored throughout the meal. I also noticed that the person in charge that day, wearing a pink jumper, was actively serving and engaging with other tables but deliberately avoided ours. Although the food was good, I could not fully enjoy it due to the poor service. The experience felt more like a self-service restaurant or takeaway rather than a proper dine-in establishment. If I had known that I would be treated this way, I would have simply ordered delivery instead. It was disappointing to pay for a dining experience that lacked any form of hospitality or attention from the staff. One concern I sincerely hope is not the case is that my friend and I were the only two Asian customers in the restaurant. I would like to believe that the differential treatment we experienced was not due to racial bias. However, every customer deserves equal and fair service, regardless of their background. I hope you take this complaint seriously and work on improving your restaurant’s service to ensure that all customers feel valued and treated with respect.

ON FRIDAY/07/02/2025 AROUND 6PM BAD SERVICE, HAD BEEN IGNORED FOR 40 MINUTES. EVERYONE SAW OUR TABLE BUT NOBODY CANE TO TAKE OUR ORDER. THE STAFF MEMBER WHO WEAR PINK JUMPER LOOKS LIKE MANAGEMENT BUT SHE DIDN’T CARE !!!! SHE ONLY LOOKED AFTER OTHER TABLES! I HAD TO ORDER ONLINE ! SO WE GOT FOOD FOR OUR TABLE! MY FRIEND JOINED US LATER BUT NOBODY CHECKED BACK IF WE NEED ANY DRINKS! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!! THEY SEEM TO LOOK AFTER THE TABLE WHO DRESSES UP NICE BUT COMPLETELY IGNORE US! WOULD NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAD TO PAY THE BILL ONLINE BEFORE WE LEFT.

Zizzi’s is the best restaurant in Exeterr! 10/10 food every time & the staff are always amazing. Ellie served us today and she made our night, everything was perfect as usual 😁😁

Service was very slow. Food was ok but we went for Carbonara and they didn’t have any. The nail in the coffin was, we both decided on the 3 course meal deal as we had Tesco vouchers which we downloaded and it said Exeter. On paying we were told that the Exeter branch doesn’t accept them??? I don’t understand why the Tesco site doesn’t state that they can’t be used in Exeter? All in all a very long and disappointing visit 🥲

Gracie W was a fantastic server for me both tonight and last week. We came for my brother’s birthday last saturday and despite the restaurant being packed she managed to fit us in for a great meal and gave us a round of free drinks for the delay. This week we were here for a belated staff Christmas meal and it’s been great so far. Great food, prompt service, fun staff. Absolute 10/10
