Popped in for Saturday night dinner. Friendly team and food was good! Better than expected from a chain on a busy weekend.... I'll be popping beck!

Lovely atmosphere, service and food. Your stabdard spot to dine in. The only problem I had was that I noticed a lot of cobwebs in certain areas higher up. Already came here twice and will be in the future regardless.

Kamila was a fantastic waitress. So friendly, kind and welcoming! Atmosphere was great and the food was perfect!

Ok as a grub stop but overpriced for what you actually get.

Visited Zizzi lots of times but my latest visit was very disappointing. Service was very slow, they were prioritising the bigger tables. Didn't have items on the menu but notify of us when we sat down only told us when we starting ordering our food. Staff weren't very friendly. Overpriced for the service and the quality of the food. Has put me off returning!

I was not satisfied at all. The food was underwhelming, lacking both flavour and freshness. For the price charged, I expected much better quality and service. Unfortunately, the staff seemed indifferent, and the overall atmosphere did little to enhance the experience. It felt like a complete waste of money, especially considering the far better options available in Gloucester. If you’re looking for a good meal, I would strongly recommend exploring other restaurants in the area.

Terrible experience. Table wasn’t ready. Waited 90 minutes for starters. Then main meals come wrong. Shambolic will never return.

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff. Conveniently close to cinema. I recommend the Salmon and Pesto Risotto, delicious.

Zizi in Gloucester is absolutely brilliant, near the cinema and the docks which is great for an evening with your partner! Food and staff are also amazing. The pizzas there are so good best place for Italian food!

Very busy on Valentines evening,the young lady who served us was great,but the food service was busy,long waits for food,starter ok,yep mains turned up pasta was tepid,pizza was cold!Wehad a table by the entrance,well what a mistake!My wife had her back to the door but delivery people were hanging over the barrier!It was really annoying that the delivery people were allowed to congregate by the door actually in the restaurant!Waving there phone’s about!Watching the kitchen it was obvious to us that the deliveries were more important than the customers in the restaurant!We paid £80 for meals and drinks.which for what it was was expensive!I think the local takeaway does better pizza!

Elle (apologies if it's spelt wrong!) Was excellent, we visited on valentines day, presumably one of their busiest nights of the year, but she and the rest of the staff were friendly, charming and attentive. The food was excellent as always and the portions generous as usual! Would also rate the set menu, plenty of choice and competitively priced, would definitely recommend!

The food was lovely &the atmosphere great as it was Valentines Day evening. Despite it been very busy Craig served us on table 26, at 7pm ish, quickly, with a smile, as well as been very polite and helpful. In fact all the staff were happy to help and make sure we had a good time. Highly recommend, good value too.

I visited Zizzis yesterday, with my SEN friends. We booked a table for a friend's Birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent. As we're the staff, especially Craig, who was very helpful, after I contacted Zizzi's beforehand about a potential issue with one of our party. He went above and beyond. Thank you Craig.

Great food off the valentines menu. Elle was great couple confusions one or two times but apart from that she was great. Thank you!

Food was ok, chip portion was tiny, the entrance is strangely small so people have to queue/wait out of the door thereby letting cold air in

My lasagna arrived not hot took it back to the pass as no one around, they then put more sauce on it before reheating, it was pipping hot but too saucy, when returned. We asked for pepper, salt and Parmesan which didn’t arrive either. Our server did say the chef apologised but we will not return.

I haven't been to a Zizzi's for years and was really pleasantly surprised. We had the favourites board to share and also some courgette fritti (plus Kombucha to drink) and it was all sooo good (not so good for the waistline perhaps though!). The service was good, the decor pretty wacky, and the price not at all bad compared to other places these days. I recommend.

Love Zizzi 🩷🩷 Every time I have been here : the service was welcoming and friendly. Pizza rustica is exquisite, my fav starter is calamari or arancini. The meatballs were delicious but the dessert it exceeded my expectation. They do some good deals for students, another good reason to go ! Recommended 💯

Zizzi at Gloucester Docks was a delightful revisit for me after about four years, and it did not disappoint. This time, I savored a large pizza topped with wagyu beef, which was a true culinary delight. The richness of the beef paired beautifully with the perfectly baked crust and fresh toppings, making each bite a treat. The ambiance of Zizzi remains as inviting as I remembered, with its modern decor and a vibe that feels both relaxed and upscale—ideal for a casual dinner or a celebratory meal. The clever use of lighting and stylish furnishings creates a warm atmosphere that encourages you to linger a little longer. During my visit, I was served by a gentleman who exemplified excellent service. His polite and attentive nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Although he spoke softly, his kindness and professionalism were evident in every interaction. It was heartening to see that, despite the staff changes over the years, the level of professionalism and care had remained consistently high. The menu also seemed to have evolved, with some intriguing new offerings alongside the classic favorites. I noticed a few unique appetizers that caught my eye, and I couldn't resist trying a dessert that was simply divine—a rich ice-cream cheesecake. Also the pizzeria was not busy, almost quite for the evening. Service was swift, prompt and attentive. Overall, my second visit to Zizzi was a wonderful experience that reminded me why I enjoyed it so much the first time. With delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service, it's a gem in Gloucester Docks that I will certainly return to again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great pizza and a pleasant dining experience!

My partner and I love to come to Zizzi Gloucester before we go to the cinema. We come at least once a month as i love the chicken spiedini! Our favourite waiter is Orazio who is always helpful and provides service with a smile.

Orazio served us today and not only was he friendly he couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious and came in decent time. Zizzi's is always one of my top choices to dine out at.

Always great. We have not had a bad experience and have eaten here a lot . The Picante pizza is consistently good. Including the gluten free one. Lovely staff too.

Turned away at 5pm because we didn't have a reservation.... at least 4+ tables were empty, albeit with the previous diner's debris still in place. Floors were covered in food that could have easily cleared up. The management needs some lessons in customer service along with cleanliness. If I had been from the Food Standards Agency, they would have struggled to get more than zero. There was no interest in offering us any service whatsoever. It was clear we were not valued as customers who would be spending money. All in all, it was clear that not having a reservation was just an excuse to turn us away. So, I spent our money elsewhere..

Thursday night in January, restaurant was nice and relatively quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our waiter was Orazio and was excellent. Thank you all.

Very good experience. We called to see if they took the tesco vouchers (they do) and was able to book a table to go in soon after. Our server was Craig, he was very happy, had our little ones in mind and put their stuff in before ours to make sure they had food. Our toddler had a potato with her and he asked about it when he cleared our plates away. He made sure we enjoyed our meals. Only little criticism is my carbanara was on the cooler side, almost cold, but my partners lasagne was hot and the kids pasta was a good temperature too.

Went for a works lunch and was fantastic. Orazio served us who was lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely return. Thank you

Lovely food and really good customer service. We had not booked, but despite being busy with Christmas groups, we were given a table - thank you very much. Due to being busy with the pre-booked Christmas parties, there was a little wait for our starters - our server came over and apologised and offered us a complimentary cocktail by way of apology. Really really kind and greatly appreciated! Food we had was: prawns, chicken strips, burata pasta and salmon on pesto risotto - all dishes were lovely. The complimentary cocktail I had was the Lemon drizzle Martini - OMG! Absolutely to die for! We will definitely return

We came to zizzi on Boxing Day, last minute and had an amazing meal out, our server was Orazio, he was attentive, chatty and very friendly but professional. Thank you to all of the team for such a beautiful meal out!

I had a frustrating experience booking this place for myself and a friend. I reserved a table at Gloucester, only to receive a call on the day of our booking saying there was construction work and we couldn’t dine there. While that was understandable, we decided to go to Zizzi's next door restaurant, which was bustling and fully packed. I can't help but feel misled about the "construction work," which left me very disappointed.

This was one of the best experiences i think ive ever recieved at a restaurant. Elle was absolutely fantastic the entire way throught my stay here today. the food was absolutely amazing, and both (manager im guessing he was in a grey hoodie) and Elle were amazing, will deffo be returning! Bathrooms aswell were spotless!

A group of 15 of us went to Zizzi for their festive menu. The group size was more but we had cancellations on the night, Orazio took the time to go through each pre order to make sure they were correct. The food was brought out promptly and was very fresh. At £26.50 for 3 courses, it was great value! Orazio was super attentive throughout the night and even helped us play a little prank on one of our group! An enjoyable evening for everyone - thank you very much!

Visiting from California and was very pleased with the food and service. We had 3 small children that we were struggling with but Craig our server was very helpful and made the experience pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place for families.

We had a large booking of 39 people. They'd kept us all together in two rows of tables. The food was top-notch. Well cooked, fresh and hot and tasty. The service was astounding. They'd used our list and knew exactly who ordered what. All three courses came out quickly, and no one was left waiting. And no instances of courses getting out of synch across the group. No mean task. You can order and pay for your drinks via an app using a QR code, which meant no issues around who ordered what drinks. So logistically, it was seamless. As for the venue, it was a nice place to be, and nicely decorated. The staff were all friendly and attentive, but I wanted to shout out Josh, who orchestrated the whole thing. He was definitely experienced, and he obviously relished his job. But everyone worked hard and made for a great occasion. Everyone in our group agreed it had all been fantastic, the best Christmas event we'd had in a very long time. Oh, and did Imentiond the food was delicious?

The venue and staff are absolutely lovely. My brother is disabled and uses an electric wheelchair. The staff always deal with us in a very kind and professional way. Today was particularly busy but Josh, Rob, Sahil and especially Kamila made sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond. Thank you so much for making our visits so enjoyable 😊
