confused…. I took my 4 year daughter for a Halloween treat tonight before going to spooktaclar & cancelling our table at BILLS (children’s meal free) in half term as I had a taster card (buy one meal get one free) to be told at the end that children’s food is NOT included in this deal but adults meals are… Where’s the logic. So I bought a £18 meal and a £8.50 meal for my daughter and I was not able to take advantage of this deal. In hindsight I should have asked for the free ADULT MEAL as a take away & waited but we had the pumpkin picking booked. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle…. Gutted as the food was nice. Next time I will order TWO ADULT MEALS.

I come here a fair bit as it's my favourite affordable place to eat in Gloucester and it supports the Tastecard. We always seem to get the same waiter, Sahil, and he is super. So lovely every time we come. Would definitely recommend.

We had a large party of 10 for a mid afternoon feast and found the staff very accomodating with balloons aand service Food was excellent and all the pasta and pizza was delicious. We had some very large cold beers and other drinks in chilled glasses. Food came quickly with no large hold ups. Easy to park in multi storey and walk to restaurant. Thanks to Oraziio we were table 41 ch 33 Loved the Rustica Piccati extr hot, king prawn linguini and salmon risotto. Recommended .

We tried to eat here Sunday around 6pm as we had an amazing experience at the Brighton branch, lovely service, delicious food and great atmosphere. What a contrast here. On arrival no hello or greeting just ‘Have you booked’ unfortunately we hadn’t. So we were told sorry we cannot accommodate you. So…. The place was half empty!!! Albeit empty tables had used dishes on them. Our impression was he didn’t want to clear a table to accommodate us!!! It was 6pm on a Sunday. I find it hard to believe they could not feed two of us…. Such a shame as we really wanted a repeat experience of Brighton. They obviously don’t want the custom!!!

I had a frustrating experience booking this place for myself and a friend. I reserved a table at Gloucester, only to receive a call on the day of our booking saying there was construction work and we couldn’t dine there. While that was understandable, we decided to go to Zizzi's next door, which was bustling and fully packed. I can't help but feel misled about the "construction work," which left me very disappointed.

Thought give this zizzi a try as we have been to a few and now my daughter at uni what a perfect time we got there for our time which was 4pm on Sunday 15th slept was not to busy, we sat and drinks came and took our order I went for something I've had before which was the Signature beef and chianti ragu it seemed a bit dry and Cold in places but I carried on with eating it I've had this before and it was more sauce with it, it still tasted good besides being a bit cold in places my daughter had the crispy prosciutto carbonara and said it was ok we also had a side of garlic bread which seems to have shrunk, we finished with the honeycomb cheesecake and Tiramso both was very tasty and nice, overall the service was ok staff was friendly and helpful, food I've had better at other zizzi restaurants.

Decor/interior: Zizzi’s has a beautiful interior with a stunning artificial tree. The table layout is great and the design of the open kitchen creates a fun environment. 9/10 Food: The menu is extensive, but in good way. It was not so overcrowded that I felt overwhelmed. The menu was fairly priced for the quality of food. The Fonduta formaggi was beautiful plated and presented. The bread was freshly made and it was all seasoned beautifully. The coriander garnish was fresh. The sticky pig rustic pizza was beautifully crafted and cooked. The pizza had a perfect base with the right amounts of toppings on every bite. This was by far the best dish we got. The chorizo spaghetti carbonara, again, was presented beautifully. However, its taste does not represent the way it was presented. I am not saying it tasted bad, it just tasted average. I’m well aware carbonara isn’t the most flavourful dish, however for its price I was expecting more. The pasta didn’t taste fresh and the chorizo lacked flavour. This makes me think it was either a low quality product or again had he sat around like the pasta. Service: we had quick service to our table when we entered the restaurant. After being seated a waitress came over and asked us if we was ready to order. Me and my partner wasn’t fully ready but agreed to order. Whiles ordering me and my partner was hesitant as we where still that little bit undecided. This slither of hesitance led to a slightly passive aggressive silence. It was uncomfortable. Later on a staff member referred to me as a less professional nickname. However he was a great waiter and it wasn’t intended rude. Overall I can say it was a good experience. Every restaurant has its ups and downs it’s normal. Every experience is different so don’t let my experience affect your decision weather to go. I recommend you try zizzi’s. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality.

Greeted by very friendly staff, explained there is a short wait for a table. We went back 20 mins later and were seated straight away. Food very good, not been to a Zizzis before so wasn't sure what to expect but all of us enjoyed our meals. Very good service. Offer blue light discount at 20% and they actually ask this question before retrieving the bill. Had a very good experience, if we lived round here we'd visit again soon 😊

Had the Pork belly that was really tasty. My husband had the Siciliana Salmon. The past was really great, full of flavour and the Salmon cooked to perfection. Pork was lovely also although I was jealous of his Salmon.

Had my birthday meal here tonight and was served by a brilliant waiter, Orazio, who was very attentive and hard working! We were also looked after by Kamila who also made us very welcome during our visit! Love eating at Zizzi, the atmosphere here is always great and the food is really tasty!

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The Calamari, anaemic. The Risotto was too al-dente for my liking & not creamy enough; too dry. Service was good. It's put me off choosing Zizzi's again with so much competition!

If you enjoy rugby or football this is a great place to book a window seat to view matches on the open air big screen opposite the restaurant, especially if it happens to be raining 😄. We watched our delicious pizza being prepared and cooked in the open plan kitchen. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Eating outside is an option but beware of the seagulls who seem to have developed a taste for pizza too 😮 Zizzis have a loyalty point scheme which you can join and also accept Tastecard where you can get 2 for 1 on starter,main and dessert (T&C's apply).

The fact that there was 20% discount on takeaway, i think the staff took that with disdain and lack of customer service. The food that i collected was kept out for, i dnt know how long, eventhough when you place the order it gives you specific times to go and collect your order. Had ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta. Pasta lacked any kind of tomato sauce, it was just too bland and pasta had soaken up all the sauce, was kept out for so long. And the 2 pizzas even when warmed up in the oven had lost all the moisture so they went straight into the bin. Really disappointed. Not going to visit this place anytime soon if they lack in the quality so much. They could have at least kept the pizzas in the take away box to preserve the heat and the taste but complete disregard to the order. Feel cheated off my £37.

I visited on Saturday night with the missus and the place was absolutely packed to the rafters! Despite the huge amount of people there, the staff remained polite, professional, and calm under pressure. The food was delicious, and could have been photographed for the menu, it was that well presented. The staff remained attentive and caring even after the food had been served. I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality that was on display during my visit, having worked in the service industry before I don't think I would have been able to produce such quality when faced with such odds! 10/10 will visit again.

Lovely meal only annoyance was the wait for the bill. When the meal is over you want to leave and waiting 15mins is a bit long. It's mad really from the staff point of view as everything else was fine and timely and I was willing and planning to tip well and this put an end to that plan. On reflection it might be petty but who tips when annoyed?

We like going to Zizzi's as a treat. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it. Another fantastic meal today and our server Elle (sorry if we got your name wrong) was super friendly. Her bright cheery attitude was breath of fresh air. It wasn't overly busy but she was serving a few tables but didn't scrimp on time and service to each one.

Ordered a pizza from Zizzi this evening as I hadn't tried one before. Rustica Piccante. I ordered online and went to collect. The staff were pleasant and the food was ready when I got there and was hot. I took it home and ate it. It had a kick to it as it has nduja sausage and roquito chillis on it. Thoroughly enjoyed it and only just managed to finish it. Good experience. I will be ordering again - but not tonight.

Food came super earlier than most restaurants and the waiter was super nice and patient. Despite the food being quick the taste of the food was still higher than my expectations. I am a very picky eater yet I still found food that I genuinely like. First time going to Zizzi and definitely will not be my last. Ate at 8/05/24.

The food, service and restaurant are all pretty nice and good to have a dinner in. The service was good and the quality of the food was great. However, the price is a bit excessive, having spent almost thirty pounds for a single meal and small beer. Would overall recommend but you could definitely find somewhere of similar or better quality for cheaper.

Wow ..it was excellent service, food and ambience..we had been there to celebrate my wife's birthday..we were very much taken care by Rob right from allocating table until we came out..He was single handedly managing all the table orders but ensured good service as well.Robw made our evening very special with a surprise cake with a candle when we mentioned we are here for a birthday dinner .. One thing is for sure people like Rob make a lot difference to a restaurant like this creating a positive experience..hats off to Rob ..and special thanks for taking care of us and making our evening special and memorable. Rob also recommended good vegetarian options to try .. We will visit again for sure ..

was delivered in a backpack on a bike. can't say I expected it to be great on cycling delivery. dessert was clearly thrown around in the bag as looked more like mush instead of cheesecake...... barely warm. however everything turned up so that's quite good as usually with just eat somethinga missing and they do nothing about it. So although impressed everything turned up not impressed with dessert which just went in bin as looked more like porridge. probably won't order this again.

It comes 40 to 50 minutes late. The guy who arrived at my door, didn’t think I ordered the food. The food has arrived cold and a pizza wasn’t even cut.
