The restaurant interior was very nice and the staff (Sal) was extremely welcoming and looked after us. The food was better than I expected, the prawns especially!! The pizzas are a decent size and very tasty. The pasta looked and smelled good too. Overall, excellent. Will definitely be back 👌🏼🙌🏼

Only 1 star off as it was freezing in there and no heating was on. The food, drinks and service was amazing.

Staff were rude. Shannon was especially rude and arrogant. Everything too much trouble just stood about chatting to other staff while the food on the side going cold!

The restaurant itself is superb the atmosphere great ,but sadly the food was left wanting ,bland and tasteless,some feat for pizza and pasta ,not good for what was quite an expensive meal all in

Best Italian in town. I come back to Barrow from Helsinki at least once a year and Salvana’s is always my first meal out. Always top! One thing though guys, you need to take some new pictures of the food for trip advisor because the current ones don’t do justice to the excellent and beautifully presented dishes!

Desafortunadamente, esta fue una de las peores experiencias que hemos tenido en Pizza Express. Si bien entiendo que fue una noche ajetreada, esperamos casi una hora por nuestra comida a pesar de que nos dijeron que solo tomaría alrededor de 30 minutos. Empezamos a preguntarnos si nuestro pedido había sido olvidado, especialmente después de ver a dos mesas que llegaron después de nosotros recibir sus comidas antes que nosotros. Además, la pizza de mi hermana apenas estaba caliente, y la mía estaba quemada por los bordes. No hubo problemas con nuestra camarera — ella era cortés y servicial — pero el momento y la calidad de la comida se vieron claramente afectados por los retrasos en la cocina.

24 of us attended for my 50th birthday. To say that service was slow is an understatement... approximately 6 of the party ordered starters so we waited for them to be served first.. which in itself was a long wait. We then waited a further hour for mains... The server looking after us had given each individual bill a number and despite this, still come out shouting who ordered this, which was quite frustrating as some of the party had ordered the same and was all scrabbling over who's was who. She also brought out a wrong dish and was adamant that my friend had ordered the dish she had. A few in the group were offered free drinks as an apology for the poor service. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Drinks service was none existent and we all had to go to the bar.. they lost out on a lot of sales as people could be bothered to wait at the bar. There wasn't enough staff on for the numbers (I'm from a hospitality background) and the staff that were there were understandably stressed out. Toilets were also a mess and had no toilet roll. All in all it was a disappointing night and I wish we have booked somewhere else.

What a fabulous bistro . Staff are very welcoming and friendly; the bistro is very dog friendly with blankets provided and free treats ; food is amazing particularly the homemade pea and ham hock soup and Cumberland sausage sandwich . Well worth a visit . Highly recommended

toast was burnt, sausages are super cheap dog meat style and arrived an hour late

Appalling, ordered on their app. Order never arrived, drove down to shop and they claimed no order received despite receiving an order confirmation. No apology. We went elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Perfect thin and crispy bases on the pizzas, best is town and great value for money. We go every week and always on point. Highly recommend

We had a lovely meal at San Carlo. Service was great and the food was lovely. Restaurant itself was very nice and there was a lovely atmosphere about the place. Will definitely return the next time we visit Manchester!

Came here for dinner with the kids and it was so lovely! Very quick service and Natasha who served us was brilliant! Will definetly be back soon!
