Lo pasamos realmente sabrosa comida el sábado por la noche con la familia y los amigos en este restaurante en el centro de Barrow. El personal era muy servicial y mi marido había dejado los vasos de lectura en casa así que era tener dificultades para elegir del menú ... sin tener que pedirles que nos ofrecieron el uso de gafas cortesía del restaurante, que nos pareció que era extremadamente atento. Un ambiente relajante pero animada aquí también.La comida era encantador, con mucha variedad y no es cara en absoluto. Creo que ofrecen un menú especial de precio también.

This was my first experience of Salvanas and it was Fantastic.You were welcomed by the Owner and his Staff with a Warm Smile as soon as you walked through the door and made to feel welcome.The Staff were polite and efficient and as My Girlfriend is Coeliac,the Owner himself came to take Our Order and made sure everything was Perfect.The Food itself was Mouth watering and Filling.The Pizza was Perfectly Cooked,the Lasagne was Wonderful and the Pasta Dish was Beautiful and Gluton Free.This is the perfect venue for Couples,Family or Groups and the Selection of Food is Amazing!I can't wait to come back again soon.Bon Appetite

Visitar mis padres, así es siempre una opción fácil donde ir en una ciudad como Barrow.Sabíamos que hizo un tiempo especial de té así que reservamos una mesa y nos fuimos ... menos de una hora estábamos en casa!El restaurante estaba lleno, la comida estaba bien, el servicio era super rápido ... tan rápido ... la comida le faltaba algo.El pan de ajo era aceitosa y queso bajo preparado, sin grifo a la base, a correosos pan.Incluso la pizza no estaba preparado debajo del agua y a la izquierda el incremento en la colchoneta.Ambos eran sabrosos platos de pasta pero fatiga salsa mimado.Gire el horno un poco chicos, cocinar a sólo un poco más de tiempo y tendrás que extra categoría ... ya que es que no merece la pena más de una hora del té precio especial, una pena.

We dropped in on a wet Friday - reason was we seen a lot of locals hanging around for the 12 noon opening - which is usually a good sign !Service was polite and speedy - food was okay . averageDrinks were a mix of:Coffee - fresh filtered - NiceDraft Lager - perfect !Draught Coke - FLAT but drinkable !!!Meals (all mains)Penne Arabiata - spicyChicken Pasta - average My Dish - Vegetarian Ravioli - looked amazing - BUT sauce was tasty but far too watery, simply boiling off would have made this a very nice dish Sides - 1* Garlic Bread - NiceOverall - it wasnt better than the "commercial Italians" on the "High Street" At roughly £10 a head it was reasonably priced - remember that was a main course each and a drink eachWould we go back - Probably Not !Would we recommend - we are in Glasgow with best Italians outside Naples - so from our perspective NO - but give it a try as the staff are so friendly and it has potential !

Simplemente reservamos un fin lejos y nos salió de la Blue . Lo que un restaurante bien llevado un poco rápido en servicio, pero el personal era muy agradable y profesional. La comida era deliciosa bien preparado para nuestro gusto. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra noche .

Visitamos el lunes por la noche y nos quedamos encantados de encontrar este restaurante ya que la mayoría de los sitios estaban cerrados.Para empezar, teníamos la morralla, que era bueno y tapizado ajíes picantes, que eran un poco de una experiencia (rellenas con salchichas y black pudding) pero bueno.Para los platos principales tuve el penne y salami, que estaba bien, el salami no era el mejor que he probado pero la salsa era excelente.Mi esposa tenía los espaguetis de marisco, que estaba bien, pero si tuviéramos una queja era que las piezas calamares estaban demasiado grande y bastante dura, quizás si hubieran sido un poco débil, puede que no hubiera importado.El precio era un poco alto para la calidad estándar, pero los sombreros solo mi opinión.

Vine aquí para una comida a la hora del almuerzo y rápidamente nos sentamos y orden de alimentos a pocos minutos más tarde. Comida llegó no mucho después y estaba muy bien y había muy acogedor con nuestro bebe de 1 año y 3 años de edad. Lo recomiendo altamente.

Mi hija tenía un entrante de vieiras con una ensalada y yo tuvimos spaghetti carbonara. su comida parecía agradable, pero la mía era aguachento como era una especie de sopa. Teníamos dos con coca-cola y fue más de £21.No volvería otra vez incluso si otros dicen las comidas son fantásticas.

Dined here with my wife last week. The service was swift and friendly and the food was as usual divine. The restaurant was reasonably busy making the atmosphere good. Highly recommended

Paramos para el almuerzo, con un poco de prisa y por casualidad. La ciudad no ofrece muchas alternativas...nos atendieron rápidamente y la comida era decente, los espaguetti carbonara eran demasiado líquidos, pero se podían comer, y la pizza hizo verdaderos esfuerzos por utilizar ingredientes naturales. Barato y rápido, eso es todo.

I love this restaurant and so do my kids. The staff are knowledgable and helpful. The food is gorgeous and they willing to alter any meal If you don't like a particular ingredient. Great little restaurant and one of our regular eateries.

A wonderful Italian restaurant offering a wide choice of excellently cooked food. Salvo and Michelle lead a good team. Service is extremely friendly and first class.

He estado varias veces y ha sido impredecible. La primera fue con mi amigo, el restaurante estaba lleno pero nos sirvieron rápido y la comida era más que fenomenal. También era una buena relación calidad-precio. Otra vez fui con mi familia y pedimos lo mismo, sin embargo, la comida era muy aceitosa y grasienta y utilicé 3 servilletas para eliminar el aceite. El postre era también bastante pesado y difícil la segunda vez. Volvería otra vez, ya que me he sólo tenía una mala experiencia.

Mi marido y yo estábamos visitando Barrow para el día y aún no conocen la ciudad. ¡Nos encontramos este restaurante. El personal era amable y acogedor, atento, pero no demasiado, así que siempre es bueno! Pedimos que nos sentamos en un lugar en el que podía (mama) alimentar a nuestra hija, que estaban más que dispuestos a ayudar con.

Food was on time and service was great...I'm going there again tonight!! Only down side is that, last order are at 9:30

First time back in a few months for my weekly catch up with a mate, staff are friendly and the food is all you would expect - nothing flash but it doesn't have to be.Perfect for a bit of lunch

Has a Bella Italia feel to the place but the food and service is much smarter. No 16 year olds doing the waitering in here. Nice simply Italian food, really enjoyable pizza and the manager chap was extremely welcoming.

Pizza a little thick but service amazingly friendly and quick . Couldn't get into our 1st choice of restaurant and this restaurant bent over backwards to accommodate

My wife and I visited tonight.The staff are always so polite and efficient which I love.We had garlic and chilli bread half and half,followed by one of the specials mussels in white wine sauce to share.My wife had the aubergine bake which she loved and I had the seafood pizza one of the best I have ever had.I love the atmosphere of this place and it always delivers top food served by efficient lovely staff.Well done to you all 10 out of 10

went in the happy hour with the kids and the food and service was excellent. Drinks ar a bit pricey especially soft drinks

I have been a few times and my frustration with your waiting staff has led me to write this review. Food is always fantastic, great portions for a great price off the happy hour menu, I absolutely cannot fault the food. In fact, the drinks are fabulous too, the decor is unremarkable but comfy and gives the place a great atmosphere.BUT Your staff, although some are faultless, leave a lot to be desired. A polite welcome from the young tall girl with long brown hair, she was very welcoming, but I'm afraid that's where our positive service experience ended. There is one member of staff in particular who gave no service whatsoever, cleared our table without asking how the meals were following no check back during the meal. I actually left quite a lot of my meal having had a late breakfast shortly before but I might have left it for another reason, a reason she did not care to ask. I think it's basic customer service to ask your guests how their meals were. When it came to pay, the same miserable girl continued a conversation with her friends for a good few minutes before acknowledging us, and even then she was very rude about it. She did not smile the entire time she served us- another basic customer service expectation. I have to say that she is the reason my friend and I will not be visiting your restaurant. I go out to dinner, expecting to pay a little bit more for excellent service, as well as the basic food and drink side of a restaurant. I generally give waitresses a 20% tip for themselves personally as I am in the industry also so understand the demands of a restaurant. However this girl gave us 0% interest and did not deserve a wage let alone a tip. Such a shame because she lets the whole place down.

Visited over bank hol weekend, so very busy, but quickly sorted us out as drop ins. Serving staff wee very down to earth and a pleasure. Lots of food options so plenty to chose from. Had what I called worst/best garlic bread ever, as was dripping in garlic oil/butter, but was absolutely amazing. Mains were fantastic, I had calzone absolutely stuffed with fab flavours and freshness, my wife had chicken stroganoff which was incredible. Overall, so pleased to find them and would definitely return here.

We went to this restaurant for a family night out, 6 adults. First impressions of the restaurant were good. The garlic bread with cheese was very good, but my son chose the fish cakes which were mostly potatoes and very little fish. The waitress started clearing the table before my son had finished eating (very bad practice). My husband and I chose a pasts dish off the specials board, the sauce was too runny, bland and tasteless. My son and his girlfriend ordered pizza's with chicken, the chicken was the leg meat, not the breast. I can honestly say I have never ever had chicken leg meat on a pizza. We then subsequently asked for the bill. The waitress brought the bill then disappeared, there were no other waitresses available. I went to the bar to pay the bill, the female assistant was quite curt and rude. When passing the kitchen/serving hatch we noticed the state of the kitchen. It was unclean, messy and there was a milk carton on its side lying on the floor, it looked like a bomb had gone off. As we were visiting the area, we didn't complain as we will not be frequenting this restaurant in the future.

Service always top notch. Always do utmost even when ran ragged. Michelle is a star and makes everyone feel like they are dining with friends. Salvo has a cracking place and a cracking team!!!

Often pop in here with my daughter and grandson for lunch.Always a warm friendly welcomeFood and taste is absolutely delish lovely local place to go for a bit to eat .....the staff are always helpful towards us and can't do enough for my grandson Hadley ...

The reservation was made for 8'adults and a baby for 5.45pm. When we arrived we were told the pushchair could not be taken to the table, but we could have a highchair for the 7 month old bany and the pushchair could be left in the bar area, not family friendly. That said the food was very good and served quickly and there was a lot to chose from with a comprehensive menu and a specials board. The house wine was also very good.

Brilliant staff, really helpful and pizza is always top notch. Pasta is quite garlic-y but depends on how you like it I suppose. Would highly recommend, especially happy hour, brilliant value for money

Worth a stop off as they do good pasta. Pi liked the wines as well but thought they were a tad expensive for the range. But good honest food.

Solid, cheap and cheerful Italian. Massive portions and always pretty good. Fegatini pasta is a bit different and worth a try. 6.5/10 every time.

I've been here a few times before and was slightly worried about what the food would be like this time around because I find the pasta dishes are a bit heavy and loaded with cheese. Opted for chicken this time (if I remember rightly it was called 'pollo alla crema') and it was absolutely lovely. Oh and of course we had garlic bread to start with, since it is a mandatory thing to have at EVERY Italian restaurant. It's basically a nicer version of the stuff you get from a takeaway. The staff were nice but it did seem like they were in a rush and were eager to collect our plates before we had even finished. The restaurant itself is quite small and can feel a little cramped but I'm sure you'll get over it.
